On my way to my sons Legion baseball game, we came across this slice of heaven!! Our burgers were fresh, hot and made absolutely perfect. The Soft Serve Ice Cream was beyond words!! It was so rich and delicious. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. I am so happy we are now planning frequent trips to Pottstown just for this place. Thank you so much, you have received a customer for life!!

Great old school spot. Price are very reasonable for the great food you get! There burgers are one of the best in town! Their Chicken has really stepped up there game! Keep up the good work!

Broasted chicken is out of sight! My favorite fried chicken. Nice cheesesteaks on a good roll. Old school. Girls who work there are great. Highly recommend.

Standard small time burger joint. Nothing amazing but they do have good food and the prices aren't bad. My husband grew up going here so the stars are really given more for nostalgia. The older lady workers are super nice!

YUM!!! Love this place. It is a step back in time and is what burger joints should have remained. The food is cooked to order and the menu has lots to offer. The service is great and the prices are very reasonable.

After passing it many times I finally stopped in tonight. I expected a decent burger and shake. They sell Nelson's ice cream and I often order shakes at Nelsons in Royersford. I also expected basic and decent burgers. Well, unfortunately this place did not deliver. The burgers were made of a tiny patty of grissel filled beef. We ordered them with everything but that apparently does not include lettuce or tomato. This is probably a good thing since a leaf of lettuce would obscure the location of the beef (or filler?). The buns were made of the cheapest possible bread as possible to compliment the meat. Most importantly they simply tasted horrible. My 11 yr old daughter used very unflattering terms to describe this excuse of a burger. The most surprising part was the chocolate shakes. I think they used a soft serve machine filled with a mystery syrup that tasted more like butterscotch then chocolate. Both my 11 yr old daughter and I regarded this meal as simply hideous. I prefer local joints to chains but so it hurts me to have to write such a bad review. For a better shake/burger experience I would recommend almost anything. I like the shake shack in KOP but it is expensive. 5 Guys and Elevation Burger are very good and put Hilltop to shame. I miss Charlies in Delaware County. I was hoping Hilltop would be like that.

Love this place! I have been going here for years. The food is made to order and the service is always nice. They have huge hoagies, burgers are pretty good. Good thick milk shakes also and they do broaster chickens. It is old school and looks just how it was when it was (probably) first built (this place his been around a lot longer than I have). I think it is great they they have kept it old fashioned looking.

This place is like stepping back in time. I love it! Their burgers and fried chicken are excellent! Love their fries too! Service is great as well and the place is clean. It's a great little burger joint.

Hill top has awesome food and ice cream my favorite is the California cheese burger I also like the chicken. I just wish that the staff would be more friendly but other than that I highly recommend.

Been driving by this place from over 10 years, decided to stop in for a burger with the family. Wow what a mistake, your better off at Burger King or McDonald's. Place is very dirty, has a trashy atmosphere, burger tasted dry and freezer burnt.

Our family has been going here for more than 10 years, and never have we been disappointed. It's a quick stop and cheap food but with amazing quality. They also have fountain Dr. Pepper, which is a nice bonus!

I used to go here growing up as a kid in Sanatoga on an almost weekly basis. Pretty solid standards of classic Americana food. I'd call it a greasy spoon, but it's not a diner, I know. Widely varied menu with everything from fried (excuse me, Broaster) chicken to grilled cheese, also a great selection of ice creams, both soft and hard, and several different choices of sundaes. Not a fantastic meal, but quick, decent and cheap.

Great butter pecan ice cream.

Every time I order from this place the food is always so-so. I always hear how good the ice cream is so I figured I would give it a chance. I went there and waited at the counter. Even though there was about five or six people behind the counter no one came to help me. I waited for about seven to ten mins then I left. The sad part is that they weren't even that busy. I will never return to this place ever again. Not even if it was free.

I live down the street from this place and finally decided to stop in at the recommendation of a friend. I'm in no way shape or form old enough to know the 50's. But this place has the look. I'm big in to the doo wop music and 50's era. Once you pull in to the drive way it smacks you in the face, step through the door and look down and your wearing a letterman jacket with complimentary slicked back hair! I felt like I was in a scene straight out of back to the future." Wait a minute, Doc. Ah... Are you telling me that you built a time machine... out of a DeLorean?" So when you walk in you are greeted by the old nostalgic look of 1952. The smell of greatness pushes past the counter and up under your nose pulling you closer and closer in. The paneling the seats the floors everything just makes you feel like your back in time. THE FOOD! Ok so first the chicken is called broaster chicken which comes from a company in Wisconsin. They tout themselves as having the best chicken distribution in the United States! I have to say that the breading and seasoning and the juicy chicken meat had me going back for 2 more pieces. It's not home cooked chicken but it's got it's own kick to it. It is a little pricy and would be easier to go to store and make your own but still is worth a try. My wife ordered an order of pierogies which was very disappointing. They give you two pierogies for $2.50. Any other place that we have ordered pierogies it's usually 4 or more. The cheese burger was also a bit disappointing. 4 bites and your done the burger was a small patty on small bun. If you have a big appetite make sure you order 2 or 3 of them. The portions of what ever u get there are very small and in my opinion not worth the price that is being charged. If you do order make sure you get extra cause you will be hungry! They do have a lot of flavors of ice cream and they are actually really good. If your looking for a big cone head to brusters down the street. Minus some of the things I mentioned it's a pretty cool place to check out even if it's once. I gave 4 stars because the place has managed to sit in the same spot since 1952 through everything that change has thrown at it so that counts for a lot.

I have been coming here since I was a kid and I still love it. It can be a bit pricy but they've got really good fried chicken and burgers

I love the Broaster chicken, and the fries are good too! And don't forget the milkshake very good, and nice friendly staff!

Vintage drive-in (an original Dairy Queen in the 50s) serving up soup, sandwiches and ice cream. I stopped in one day for a burger and a hot dog. Nothing fancy, just good, hot and cheap.

This place is a real treat! An absolute gem. The burgers are great and very old fashioned. Start with a double and order another if youre still hungry. The broasted chicken is fantastic, juicy and very crispy. Ice cream and floats are great! The setting is very retro, but they didn't go out of their way and overdo it, it looks authentic! This is always a great place to stop before or after a day at the outlets!

This place has been around since before I was born and it looks like they haven't changed a thing. Wood panel walls, plastic chairs, 60's "hip" tables, an old jukebox and cheap tile floor. We ordered cheese steaks, one chicken and one beef and fries. Shockingly, our simple drive-in dinner cost as much as eating at Olive Garden. The rolls were from yesterday. The freezer burned meats were dried out. Fries were ok. They say you get what you pay for; but not here. Over priced nostalgia. I've had the broasted chicken in the past. Paper plates and greasy fries. Didn't need to have it again. At the end of your meal you're expected to bus your own table. There is a little plastic trash can in the corner overflowing with trash and an opening too small to just dump your plastic tray. WTF? Suggestion: Get a bigger can and empty it now and then. No need to go back.
