I called to place an order for delivery for my parents the other night and not only did it take 10 minutes for them to take my order, but they forgot that I said delivery in the beginning, it took two different people to write my order with a few silent disappearances, and I received 3 completely different numbers when asking for the totals. The almost read back my order right, and i corrected them but the order was still wrong when the food arrived! It wasn't even that good.

Stopped in for a few slices and a hoagie. Pizza not good at all. The sauce was not seasoned and the crust just not good. The italian hoagie was just OK. Something tasted off, maybe too much olive oil or just an inferior OO.

I was shocked to see the really negative review that included some disparaging remarks about vouchers. So much so, that I asked the owner about this. We have been coming to this restaurant for 17 years, and have often spoken briefly to the owner--he is a man of few words--and Sicilian. He doesn't go to customers' tables and chit chat, let alone complain about the vouchers. In addition, although we have sat in the restaurant, out in the cafe part, in the bar and in the bar/restaurant area--and outside--WE HAVE NEVER SEEN THE OWNER SMOKE--nor does he smell like cigarettes. Friday nights at 7 p.m.? What in the world could have been wrong? It's always busy during the dinner hours--especially on weekends. What I think? This reviewer was either thinking of another restaurant or lying for whatever reason--and that would just be wrong. The food is good, the service is good, the prices not unreasonable, location is convenient and we drive all the way from Jenkintown to come here about once a month. So friends, ignore these negative reviews. I am not Sicilian or Italian, but my significant other IS--grew up in South Philly, and believe me, if the food was bad, if the owner was obnoxious--we would not be driving 40 miles to get here and 40 miles home.

I rarely review, but I feel like these negative reviews aren't reflective of our experience! We ordered takeout- large pie half cheese half pepperoni and an order of mild buffalo wings. Service was friendly and efficient over the phone, the food was ready quickly, and it was good! No complaints, we will definitely order again. Thanks! :)

We are fans, go here often, but I have some issues. Best guess is they don't change their fryer oil often enough because except for their french fries (which are great), everything else is just under burnt. Also, their menu prices don't reflect bill of fare. Twice lately the check is higher than the menu prices. Service has improved, the waitresses are gracious, often goofy, but accommodating. They have a good bar crowd, seating areas are acceptable. Please reprint your menu to reflect true prices.

Great chicken parm and generous sandwiches, too. Prices are not bad and its a nice comfortable place with easy parking.

Been going here for many years. I like the lasagna when we eat in. Pizza is a 7 out of 10 but I am picky about good pizza.

One star rating is too much for this place. THIS PLACE WAS HORRIFIC! I should've known it was not going to be a pleasant visit when we arrived on a Friday night at 7pm and there were 2 people at the bar and one family sitting down in the entire restaurant- that's it! Our family walked in and was greeted with a plain ol' "how many", nothing more, nothing less. There was a guy playing his guitar, thank goodness for him. We ordered a large plain pizza which was average and a vegetarian lasagna. We had a voucher we received as a gift to use for our dinner. The owner approached our table stinking like cigarette rolling his eyes complaining that he looses money with those vouchers. Despite my 4 & 5 year old kids sitting at our table, he continued to complain and say it was "bullsh**" that we were using the voucher and he was loosing money. Clearly the restaurant is not doing well- empty on a Friday night, average over priced food, and a nasty owner with staff that seems to take after him with a poor attitude; can't blame them, they have him to take after and I'd be miserable if I worked there too! The restaurant CHOSE to run a voucher deal, most restaurants use these as an opportunity to attract new customers, not scare them away! I urge you to steer away from visiting this place

Located in a Shopping Center in Plumsteadville - of all places - this place has decent NY style Neapolitan pies. Get one fresh made - as the pre-made slices can vary in quality depending on when they were made - but you CAN'T go wrong with a fresh baked pie from here. Cheesy and not too greasy. Good stuff.

I've only ever had pizza here, and it's SO good. They have a lot of different specialty pizzas to buy by the slice. I think I tried the buffalo chicken, cheesesteak, white, and brocolli and they were all really great. Oh and the garlic knots are huge and delicious, too! Tons of garlic!!

I've been going here since I was a kid when it was mostly just a takeout place -- it has now expanded to include a sports bar and full service restaurant. The pasta dishes and hoagies are good, but the best thing here is the pizza, which I consider consistently the best I've ever had. After moving out of the area I realized to my dismay that not all pizza was like Capri's. Particularly good is their white pizza with broccoli and ricotta cheese.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
