It's like Cheers for retired seniors without the booze. Everyone knows your name (and order) if you're a regular. Friendly staff. Decent breakfast and prices. Wear street clothes. The ventilation is not that great and you'll walk out smelly.

Very poor service and not a very positive experience. I have tried this place twice. Both times was horrific. Restrooms were atrocious. Drink orders: first visit the drinks were watery and needed refill attention- waitress paid little attention to us. Second visit the glasses had food on them. Entrees were cold. Health dept needs to pay a visit along with the the customer service school!

This is a really great all around good family restaurant. I love the salad bar, turkey club is out of this world as well as the cole slaw. I really have never been unhappy with what I have had here. The prices are excellent.

Not really sure why this place is usually packed. Food is cheap but cheap doesn't mean good. Kid friendly menu is a plus.

This is my first Yelp review ever. I felt the need to express to others how terrible the meal I just had was. I had the country fried steak special. It was obvious that everything was frozen or canned. If I wanted frozen food, I would have stayed home. I am glad that I live nearby, because I was ill immediately after. To give them credit, the waitress was pleasant and the prices were good. The vegetables at the salad bar were fresh. If for some reason I eat at this restaurant again, I will stick to the salad bar.

Stepping in 0'grady's is like stepping into a retirement home, no a funeral home. How do I put this nicely? The food is really gross. Now, how can I say that? Well, if you think I'm being too harsh don't fear because any perspective patron of O'Grady's will never see this review because odds are they don't what the internet is. However, I will compliment O'Grady's on their valet parking for Hoverounds.

Absolutely horrible food..the mrs and i stopped in last night to try it because we love brookside diner in pottstown (same owner, what could go wrong)..apparently everything..nothing stood out to me on the menu..so i settled for the chicken and penne alfredo and my wife ordered the chicken croquetts. 530 and the place was not busy..that should ve been a red flag right there. The food comes out. The first thing i notice is that my wifes croquetts look burnt..not a nice golden brown that they should normally look like. I try my penne..the alfredo sauce was bland. It tasted like water, no flavor whatsoever, minus the fact that it was drowned in oregano..prob to try n mask the taste of nothing..but i tried to look past that and continue eating...til i got to the chicken. I don't know what the hell was wrong with it..but the chicken was funky..i even had my wife try it to verify that something was wrong, and she agreed. I stopped right there and pushed it off to the side. Now, our server was very friendly, but when she came over to collect our plates, not a word as to why i barely ate my food. I ve been both a cook and server for well over 10 years and if i ever saw someone not eat, or take a box..i would ask if there was something wrong. Did she? Nope. I guess it was a good thing cuz if the manager or owner would ve came over, i prob would ve tore into them and demanded that they remove my order from the bill. Thank you o'gradys for making our first experience there our last one.

The wife and I just came back from their breakfast Buffett. When. You go early, everything is so fresh. The staff are friendly. Highly recommended. P.s. the o'gradys in sounderton is horrible. Dirty and the staff are not friendly.

Go there for their Saturday and Sunday morning Breakfast bar or all day Salad Bar... the rest of the menu is hit or miss. Lasagna and Salmon was pretty good but we've hit a few other dishes that were... basically adult baby food. Bland, mushy, tasteless. It's a diner, it's target audience is certainly elderly and most of the menus has the same consistency and flavor of hospital food. Not all, there are a few decent meals on the menu and, as I said, the Breakfast and Salad bars make it worthwhile.

I go to O'gradys two or three times a month for lunch. The portions are very large and the prices low to fair. The quality is not great, just ok. The waitresses usually are older and some of them a little miserable but it is a dinner. I would recommend it as a spot to grab a quick meal. It is not a quality place by any means.

I go here a lot for breakfast. Awesome wait staff!! Food is always good and they have great prices!! Peggy is my favorite! Love seeing her smiling face when I go in. Can't wait to visit again!!

I've eaten here 6 times only because it was close and convenient. The cheese omelets are dry and not very cheesy. The home fries are nasty. At least the toast is okay. It is pretty hard to screw that up. Thank goodness for condiments to help choke this food down. The hostess and wait staff are snooty and very unfriendly. They make it clear with their attitude and tone you are unwelcome and an inconvenience to them. The décor is dated and a bit ragged. There is nothing appealing about this place and no reason to go here.

Not a great restaurant, but it is what it is. Standard "American family restaurant" with diner-type food and prices. The menu has pictures if that helps explain things. "Value" is probably their defining principle, and they do what they do well. My pop-pop has been eating here for years, and would eat here every night if he could. The staff takes good care of him, and they know half my family by name. I've eaten here on a few occasions. I've learned to stay away from the seafood (scallops are NOT a good choice) and tonight I stuck with the soup and salad bar. It's not very extensive, but the veggies are fresh and the soup is tasty. Macaroni, potato, and pasta salads round things out. The menu also includes burgers, sandwiches, pasta, meatloaf, various entrees, and a staggering number of seafood choices for this type of place. Service is prompt and friendly, and most people here are probably regulars. It caters to the senior and family crowd. My favorite part was the little rhyme they had on the specials menu for father's day: "Make Dad feel like a winner, take him out to a O'Grady's dinner." They may not know how to properly use articles properly, but they do know how to run a family-friendly restaurant.

Subpar diner food with many of the servers looking and acting haggard (at least when we were there at lunch) pretty much sums it up. The only exception would be the soup/salad bar which was half decent with fairly fresh looking vegetables and soup that easily trumped the entrees. The clientele seems to consist primarily of people in the 50 and over crowd. I guess the price to portion ratio is what brings people in but for me the food just has too much of that processed, fresh-out-of-a-can cafeteria food taste to recommend it. It's what I usually call belly filler food.

We go here frequently. There is a varied menu and most of the meals we've gotten are good or better, The salad bar has a nice selection of items. The staff is very friendly toward kids. The price for what you get is reasonable. This is not a 5 star restaurant but it's not the typical greasy diner either. It's a nice place right in the middle.

My mom always told me if you have nothing nice to say then don't say anything. Well I am sorry mom but this breakfast buffet scares me because I watched a server dump a small plate of home fries back into the buffet which clearly has to violate at least 1 health code. I now bid this place farewell.

I have eaten here 3 times, twice for dinner and once for breakfast. It has a diner feel without the crowded feel. The dinners were good and the salad/soup bar wasn't anything special but has everything you would be looking for. The breakfast buffet was pretty good and I definitely got my fill. The dinners average between $10-$20 and have the basic menu items for an American style restaurant - meatloaf, turkey and stuffing, burgers, etc. You shouldn't go away hungary. The crowd is a cross between families and the above 40 crowd. Overall a good restaurant and about 2 minutes away from my house.
