Foot long hot dogs = Awesome! Beer = good, nice and cold, clean lines! Service=Above average Wings=Awful 1st, I'm not a fan of breaded wings, they are not cooked enough, or they have too much breading and the skin doesn't cook down enough. Both time I got wings they have a good favor and are meaty enough, they just need to be cooked longer or have less breading. Nothing like biting into a wing and having to chew through the uncooked skin underneath the breading.

We tried to eat at their establishment and checked times, etc, we drove over a half hour to meet so other family members and when we walked in there was only 1 person sitting at the bar.... the bartended then tells us that his staff took off due to the holiday at that he's the only one on and that they are only open for the US Soccer game ???? ... then proceeds that say that they are only serving the 'bar menu" due to no staff..... Not very good on their part, and kinda "short" and rude.... will NOT try and visit them in the future.

I visited Joe's on consecutive nights, one with a Living Social coupon. The beef tacos on the appetizer menu were outstanding, and a great price which will ensure I order them every time I come. Meatloaf and mashed potatoes were just as I expected; thankfully, no attempt to "fancy them up"; just tasty comfort food. I asked for French dressing and bleu cheese crumbles on my salad, and they were generous with the cheese. The salad was cold and fresh and crisp. The reason I did not give five stars was the service. The first night, we weren't told of specials (ugh, saw them on the way out and would have ordered them!), and my friend's appetizer order was wrong. Drinks were not refilled often enough, and the waitress seemed uninformed about some of the items. The next night, different waitress. We were one of only two tables, and still waited too long for her to return. She was unable to answer a question about a menu item, as well. The place is beautiful, and the bathroom was clean and bright. The menu offers many thoughtfully composed choices. Some of your servers are not up to par.

Maybe it's me. Maybe my standards are higher than they should be, but can somebody explain to me how going from a roll to Flat-bread should reduce the amount of meat on a sandwich by three quarters? Joes offers a cheeseburger on a bun for $9.00 (which in and of itself is ridiculous) or on Flat-bread for the same amount. The problem is they don't tell you that you go from at least a 1/4 lb cooked when you order it on a bun, to about what McDonald's gives you for 99 cents if you opt for the flat-bread. Not only that but because they crumble up the now paltry amount of beef, it is completely overcooked. This is not the first time I have been blown away by being overcharged by this place but it is definitely the last.

After an irksome experience at a microbrewery just across the street we happened upon Joe's. Immediately upon entering we were greeted by a gentleman that was behind the roast beef carving stand. He saw us came in and practically ran over to greet us. He provided jovial banter and gave us the choice of table or booth. The restaurant side wasn't very crowded (maybe 4 tables seated) but the bar side had about 25 people. The waitress was there within a minute of our seating to ask if we'd like something to drink. They didn't have a beer menu but she let us peruse her "cheat sheet". She didn't know the price of the drink we selected off the top of her head but went to find out for us and also provided me with a small amount to sample before I committed to a pint of it. The food was very good. I was disappointed that the sandwiches didn't come with fries (they come with home made potato chips which are very good and have very interesting seasonings on them) so we ordered a bowl of pub fries which were quite good. At the end of the meal they offered a survey for me to fill out rating my experience. That's definitely a good sign of a restaurant that wants to make sure they're doing all they can. My only slight criticism is of the rolls they use for sandwiches; they use an extremely large Kaiser that is just too much bread. I am quite the bread person and even I felt that it overpowered the delicious sandwich filling (I had the brisket sandwich). I'd definitely visit again.

3 strikes your out. I had a completely different experience that these recent reviews. Waited a while just to be given a menu and for our drink orders to be taken. Waited even longer for the waitress to show back up to take out order... and not only did she come back again to ask my wife what kind of boneless wings she wanted... she came back 3 times to assure she was correct... USE PEN AND PAPER!!! Food came out 30 minutes later and it was subpar. sad. I gave this place 3 chances... that was my the last time ill ever go back in there.

I enjoyed my BBQ Pork sandwich very much. The French fries are good if you like them potatey. I know, it is a potato so what should I expect lol. The coleslaw was also good. It. Has sports bar atmosphere so if you like a quieter atmosphere don't go on game night

Completely horrific! Maybe it was just bad timing for lunch, or maybe our waitress was just a 'born this way' bitch, but it has turned me away from this place for good. The menu is odd and is not reflective of what you will see on your plate. Plus, they didn't have half of what I asked for. If I want goat cheese on a wrap because you say that you offer it, you better well have it on hand at least! I went with like, a grilled tuna wrap and I asked the waitress if I could have it rare. She looked at me like I was idiotic. She said that was the way it obviously came. I said alright. My wrap came out with canned tuna in it. I complained and she had a major attitude and I am more than convinced she did something to my plate. At least I'm still alive. She continued her tone through the rest of the meal. While we were sitting there still talking, she started clearing everything off our table. She was taking all of our glasses off so I clung to mine so she wouldn't take it. This ticked her off more. Like I gave a crap? No. Such a crappy waitress! Too much 'tude for anyone to handle, really. I don't think this place is going to last. I'd rather go to the Sly Fox any day and that isn't really saying much.

Truly delicious and generously-sized burgers! The fries are superb-great pub food. The prices are a little steep. The service is fine. My go-to spot to dine and talk for hours and it's never been too busy where that would be an issue.

I don't get it... this place is great! The reviews don't reflect that, and I really don't understand. Food was great, and service was fantastic. They served us dinner late, didn't rush us out when the restaurant was, technically, closed, and really treated us nicely. The food is American gourmet, with lots of vegetarian options (real options, not just pasta tossed with sauce) and our server, who was also a manager, was about as knowledgeable about the menu as anyone could be. Do not be dissuaded by the reviews -- it's doubtful you'll be disappointed!
