India is the birth place of Chicken Tikka Masala and Curries. Indian foods are prepared with a blend of finely mixed spices quite popular across the region. The spices develop the rich taste in Indian food enough to boggle your mind. The ever-increasing fan base of Indian food around the New York city is steadily increasing because of the large number of Indians who traveled to the land of dreams. The Indians also brought their very own vibrant, colorful, and aromatic authentic dishes for the people in the West. While most of the Indian population is Vegetarian, Indian food is great for people who are looking for vegan or vegetarian food option. If you are a Meat lover, don't get disappointed yet. I used to be a regular at the Amans location in Norristown but stopped going there because the texture and taste of the food was never consistent, as if a different recipe was being used daily. Recently I went to the new location in Phoenixville, I got take-out. The restaurant is nice and spacious and I liked the ambiance, very apt for a bistro. I ordered the chicken makhni, dal makhni, naan and a shrimp biryani. The quality of all the dishes was very good. The food was nicely packaged such that it was nice and hot even after i got home 25 minutes later. What I look for in a restaurant is day-to-day consistency, if Amans Bistro keeps this up, they just might be my new favorite Indian restaurant in the area!

We accidentally stumbled upon this restaurant; we were originally going to go to the diner and were so glad we didn't!!! We have traveled all over Canada and the US and NEVER have we had such GREAT food, prices, service and ambiance as we do at AMAN"S!!! The staff is so friendly and attentive, even for the lunch buffet, they bring out hot Naan bread freshly made JUST FOR YOU! Also, the lunch buffet has the right balance of high-quality chicken and goat dishes along with a wonderful selection of vegetarian dishes, and my favorite - freshly made crunchy on the outside and hot and yummy on the inside SAMOSAS!!!! ALL YOU CAN EAT!!!! Go! Go! Go! $10 for the lunch buffet!!!!
(5)Samantha S.
This place is a hidden gem! I was so impressed with both the quality of the food and the great customer service! We will certainly be back. The lunch buffet was just $10 and a nice selection of vegetarian selections and chicken, both my favorite! Rice, naan, fruits, desserts.. yum!!
(5)Let J.
Reasonable food. Horrible service. How does this place have good reviews? Exton has so many nice restaurants. Try Nala or Bangles.
(2)Justin C.
Great place to have wonderful food and share a conversation. It's not only great Indian food, it's just great food. I have taken several friends and family here for their first experience for Indian food. This buffet is the best way to experience different flavors for a great price. Love the naan.
(5)Bob S.
Aman's Indian Bistro? They should call it AMEN INDIAN BISTRO. This place is a true blessing! The jalapeno naan was otherworldly! Suffice it to say by the end of the meal there was NAAN LEFT!
(5)Joe C.
I'm happy to kick off what I predict will be mostly positive comments about the recently opened Aman's Phoenixville which I hit up this week for their lunch buffet. This may be the most impressive Indian restaurant in Chester County; the interior is very cool as well, with dark hardwood floors. I do plan to try dinner but,for now, I can only comment on their buffet. At $10 with a plethora of selections, it's an awesome value. You'll find all your favorites here like the Chicken sisters, Tikka Masala and Tandoori. You'll also find some gems rarely seen on other Indian buffets like Gobi Manchurian (cauliflower) and Chili Chicken; both of these are stir-fried in the same amazing Indo-Chinese sauce which I found mostly spicy with a touch of sweetness. Pretty much perfect. Speaking of sweet, another thing that sets Aman's apart is the offering of three desserts on the buffet - kheer (my fave), Gajar Halwa (shredded carrots), and Gulab Jalam (deep fried milk puffs in honey syrup). As this was my first visit, I don't know if you'll find all three on a regular basis or if it's part of a rotation. Service was efficient and, get this, at least on my visit, they had a setup of water pitchers. Brilliant! I love the idea of being able to refill myself without having to wait for the servers. All restaurants serving spicy food should adopt this concept. Please support this establishment to ensure they stay in business for a good, long time. Phoenixville needs great Indian cuisine and I think we've finally found it.

Lunch time buffet is the best value meal within a 100 miles. High quality with unique flavorful dishes. Simple elegant decor and good service. I am a vegetarian and they have many delicious items. Love spicy foods and their mango pudding is delicious. Highly recommended!
(5)Julie F.
Have now tried the lunch buffet, and all I can say is, "go!". It is the best $10 that you will ever spend at a restaurant. I am a pescatarian, and I was able to find plenty of non-meat dishes in the buffet. Everything was fresh, hot, and delicious. Unlimited naan is brought to the table. Don't waste your money at downtown Phoenixville restaurants that are just so-so. Aman's never misses!
(5)Foodie C.
Best authentic Indian food we have found in the King of Prussia area (Phoenixville location). Highly recommended. The only issue was that we asked for the entrees to be very spicy (hot), but they didn't believe us and only made the food regular spicy. We will still go back when we are in the area because the food was quite delicious.
(4)Ronny K.
pretty sure this was the place we are it and pretty sure, even though i'm usually hesitant about fancy-looking Indian places, that the food was delicious!
(5)Tatiana T.
What a delicious dinner! We started with garlic naan which was crispy to perfection. We had a mango lassi while we waited for our meal. Also delicious. The wait staff was courteous and attentive to our every move, refilled our drinks as soon as they needed refilling and brought us more bread once we were done. Our main meals consisted of madras chicken curry, saag paneer and chicken tikka masala. The flavors were fantastic, chicken was tender and the sauces were delicious. We will definitely come here again!
(5)Adam F.
What a delicious Indian eatery! I went to that location one time back when it was called "Taste of the Tropics" or something and came back only to find this little gem. The buffet was modest but delicious. The service was supurb and the price was right on. We were having conversations with the staff asking them why they don't market harder, I think they really have something good going on. It was clean, delicious, friendly and overall a great experience. The only thing that was lacking was it obviously was not very busy and it would have been cool to have some authentic indian music or something. The sun was also pretty bright in my eyes, but who cares. However, I will recommend to friends, and I will go back! PS. I was told their weekend buffet is bigger, but only cost $1 more!
(5)Dafaaz M.
I tried Aman twice after an the food was excellent except the goat meat is tough. I spoke to the manger but it seems the chef is deaf. I will go back but avoid the goat.
(3)Alex W.
I like they're thin wafers that come with different sauces including the fruit chutney that was very good. We shared a potato cici bean appetizer that was very good. I had Lamb Korma. I asked for medium spice and it was just the right heat. The lamb could have been a little more tender, which is why I rated 4 stars instead of 5, otherwise it was excellent. The service was very good and attentive without being pushy. The chef came out and was very pleasant to talk with.
(4)Erica V.
Best Indian food in Phoenixville! The ambiance & feel of the restaurant is nice. Service is great & I have never been disappointed with my selection. Definitely one of my weekly picks!
(5)Ahab C.
Such a great place!!! Love the chicken and naan!! So soft tender and tasty!! Also amazingly kind people there! Couldn't believe it
(5)Rhonda P.
I am thrilled to see the great number of 4 and 5-star reviews for this restaurant. I have nothing different to note than others have shared: super clean interior, fresh naan served at your table during the buffet, only $10 including fresh naan and chai tea, and delicious, high-quality food. I found the East Norriton location to offer among the best Indian food I have eaten in the US, and have found it consistently here, as well. Our service has been consistently excellent. I am beyond thrilled to have such good Indian food this close to my home.
(5)Jamee W.
We tried Aman's Indian Bistro in Phoenixville last night and it was the best Indian food we've ever had! The food just has a wonderful, rich taste. We ordered 3 different dishes and each one was a smash hit. Lots of vegetarian options! The staff is super nice- the owner came out to greet everyone and to make sure their meals were perfect. When we told them our 1 year old liked the spicy cauliflower, he immediately brought more out for him. The little boy behind us didn't like the spice in his meal so the owner made him a special dish, free of charge. If you are looking for good Indian food in the area, give it a try.
(5)Max D.
Never had such a classy Indian experience anywhere else. Staff are very professional and it's been slightly more than a year that they have been here and the crowd is growing. Reservations for the weekends and holidays will definetly be a good precautionary measure. Two thumbs up to their lunch buffet spread. Spoilt for choice every time.
(5)Shannon B.
My boyfriend is a big fan of Aman's in both Chalfont and East Norriton, so we were very excited when we learned that Aman's was opening in our town! We went on a weekend for the lunch buffet and were not disappointed. The interior is lovely and the staff was very courteous and readily available for water refills. They also bring individual baskets of fresh naan to your table, which was a nice surprise. Everything that I tried from the buffet was absolutely delicious, particularly the fried assorted vegetables and tikka masala. I was too stuffed to try dessert, but it looks like they had a decent selection. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to try Indian food for the first time or any veteran Indian food lovers!
(5)Douglas W.
Closed for a private party today. We couldn't get lunch. Very small to go containers yesterday for their buffet. Decent food but missing some care.
(3)Madhwan R.
I'm satisfied this restaurant very good service as usual good buffet and atmosphere is good music is so peaceful.over all good experience
(5)John A.
I love Indian food and the food here is very good. I give the poor rating as both times I have tried carry out the service has been strange. While waiting for food you are stood next to people eating at their tables. The accuracy of the order was also wrong, which of course you only notice once you get home. If I do visit the restaurant again it will be to sit down, not carry out.
(2)Judy L.
Superb Indian food. I went with my boyfriend for the weekend lunch buffet and it was delicious! We have been back three times already. Even when it is 2:45pm and there is nobody left in the restaurant they will refill the food if you ask them.
(4)Craig F.
I've had the great opportunity to try Indian food from all over the globe with the best I've had is in the UK. David is the supreme host and treated us like family. The food is fantastic and rivals my experiences in the UK. I would almost prefer not share the place for selfish reasons....but I wouldn't be able to live with myself. Don't think you need to go to Philly or NYC to get great culinary experience. This is the place. Aman's is BYOB so bring along your favorite ice cold beers.
(5)Jerry Z.
First time at this Indian restaurant. Very good food and highly attentive wait staff. Bar-B-Qued Tandoori chicken was medium spicy and delicious. Chicken Shaki Korma I didn't taste but my wife found it great. We'll definitely return.
(5)Jeff T.
After living in the SF Bay area for a number of years with a large variety of options we were looking for a good Indian food option relatively close by. Aman fills that void and more. Nans are flavorful and melt in your mouth. Chicken Tikka Masala is excellent. The rice is cooked to perfection. Great food and great service.
(5)Michael H.
This is a great hidden gem of Phoenixville. The staff is friendly and the food is wonderful!
(4)Andy G.
I found this place by an accident! Very close to Philadelphia Premium Outlet Mall. Very authentic Indian food. Food quality was good. Great selection and nice staff. I will definitely try again when I am in this area.
(4)Tom L.
Only reason this doesn't get 4 is the lack of variety. I usually hit this place for the lunch buffet and it is the same thing week in and week out. That said the food is excellent and the dining/takeout is even better.
(3)Jay S.
Fantastic Food and Fantastic service. I've done lunch and dinner here. The owner is extremely polite and engaging to all the guests.
(5)Seth M.
For those who fell in love with Aman's in Norristown, the original owner has opened up a new location in Phoenixville! Being greeted at the door by our old friend, and most welcoming owner you will ever meet, was phenomenal. It has been almost 3 years since we last saw him (Dev) before he left the original location to open up other establishments out of our area. The food is still as good as it can get. We'll be here weekly. This is as good as it can get.
(5)Kiran K.
I think it's a newly opened restaurent but Excellent food great ambience good service.
(5)Vinod N.
Loved chicken curry and malai kofta.I'm so glad we have an Indian restaurant next door. Keep the flavors flowing yummy
(5)Jill P.
Really great fresh flavor, color and texture. Staff was smart and kind as well. This place is great. We're so happy to have an Indian restaurant in our area. We did take out and it was ready super quick. This will be a sure thing On weekends for us. Yummy! We are vegetarians and you will not find a better vegetarian choice in the Phoenixville area. Amazing !
(5)Vishwa M.
My favorite indian restaurant so far around the western suburbs of philly. You can expect a high quality and delicious food at this place. Reasonably priced. You can definitely pick this restaurant when you have many options. Food tastes exactly how it should be. Been there twice for buffet and was extremely satisfied.
(5)David G.
This is my new favorite restaurant in the Phoenixville area. I haven't had anything yet it hasn't been great. For appetizers, I can recommend vegetable samosas and pakora. I love their Saag, both lamb and paneer. They have a complete northern Indian menu. Service excellent and friendly. I recommend skipping the tandoori entrées, not because they are not well cooked. But, with those you miss out on all the great sauces that are the backbone of Indian cuisine.
(4)Ron M.
The appetizers and entrees were fabulous. Perfect spicing. The naan was good, but not great. Perfectly serviceable, but not nearly as good as the rest of the meal.
(4)Abby R.
Third time's a charm - absolutely great. I bypassed the lunch buffet in favor of take-away, which was still steaming hot when I got it home 20 minutes later. The vegetable pakoras were fried to crispy perfection and came with a trio of dipping sauces - much appreciated, and I added mango chutney from the fridge. The pappadums were plentiful, and wrapped so as to stay whole or halves and not shattered into many pieces. Saag paneer was a creamy base of spinach with just enough spice, and the Lamb Rogan Josh was spiced almost-too-hot but just right. A huge container of fluffy basmati rice with cardamom provided a great base to soak up the sauce, as did the bread basket: a plain naan, a peshwari naan, and an onion kulcha. A nice variety and oh so good. Service for take-away was over the top, even though the restaurant was busy. Definitely a place to return - again and again - but only for take-away, unless I round up others for a feast!
(4)jim z.
Finally have an Indian Restaurant in Phoenixville and a good one at that! Had chicken curry with the vegetable pakora appetizer. Both were excellent. I asked for spicy curry and definitely got it. Good atmosphere, seating, staff, etc. Will be making many return trips.
(5)Michael M.
My wife and I are huge fans of indian food and sadly while living in Phoenixville/Royersford area the closest available indian dining was in King of Prussia. Cue Aman's new location in Phoenixville! An excellent selection of both vegatarian and carnivorous options! The saag paneer and chicken vinadalu are our favorites.
(5)Ben F.
Eaten here several times. Food is excellent and can be as spicy as you want. Flavors are great - only bad thing is we can't order all our favorites every time. Service is friendly but slow. It can take a while to get the check. Portion sizes are generous and we always have leftovers. Very kid friendly!
(5)Adam P.
I keep going back to this place... seriously, it's excellent ! I used drive to Wilmington, DE and thought I had an excellent Indian place there, but this is so much better. They are always changing the lunch buffet, but keep the stuff you're used to. I realize this sounds like a fake review, but it's not... email me if you feel so inclined, I will tell you how much my fiance and I like this place, it's that good!
(5)Stan S.
I love this place for takeout. They're really friendly and courteous - I stopped in with my young sons to order take-out, and they gave the boys mango lassi and me a hot tea gratis while we waited. And they asked us, we didn't ask them for it. It's rare to find anyplace where they treat people this way. For the buffet, I thought it was a little limited compared to the one in Norristown. Nor sure why they bring you the naan rather than having it at the buffet station itself. I wish the spicy dishes were spicier, but the flavors are great. For takeout, if you ask for Indian hot, you get a nice level of heat.
(5)Ali C.
I ordered takeout the last time we were staying in the area. They have an extensive menu and their prices incredibly fair, so I ordered a few items: Naan, vegetarian sampler app, shahi paneer, mango lassi, and kheer for dessert. All of that for $23! Spectacular! They were courteous on the phone, and it was easy to find from our hotel. The restaurant was classy with several tables full. I didnt eat everything, but wow, it was amazing. I will be ordering from them again next time we are in the area.
(5)Stephanie O.
My boyfriend and I have only been here twice, but both times were amazing. The service was great both times and waiters were quick to refill our water glasses and check on us. Our first experience was with the lunch buffet, which is decently priced for the quality and quantity of food that's available. This was my boyfriend's first experience with Indian food and now he's hooked. The second time we came here was for dinner. It was a week night and there were only a few other tables. Service was great and the food was DELICIOUS. Just the right amount of spice. The shrimp vindaloo had a great flavor, as did the chicken curry. Can't wait to go back and try something new!
(5)Matthew B.
Quality Indian cuisine - you really can't go wrong here. As good if not better than bangles (j Coleman take note) . Seriously good answer when you need an Indian fix.
(4)Mary Norena M.
People are very friendly & the food is perfectly delicious!! This is my favorite Indian restaurant!
(5)Justin R.
We've been coming here a lot recently and we've really been digging it! When it comes to Indian you really want a place that has the same quality every time you visit. Aman's has yet to fail us. We've been sticking to the vegetarian menu and enjoy every item from it. The naan is fresh and the service guys are really attentive and caring. They keep the place moving better than a lot of other places in the area. If you live in the area you'll enjoy Aman's.
(4)Amanda B.
This is the best freaking Indian food I've ever eaten. And I am no hick! It's kind of insane that they are in Phoenixville. These guys could be fully booked at all times in NYC or London. Their loss is Phoenixville's gain! The lunch buffet is incredible every time. Every dish is excellent - this chef has an impeccable sense of flavor. The spices! The sauces! The tandoori chicken! The free, unlimited naan! Not to mention the house made chai, which is spicy and unsweetened, and included in the buffet! Great service, too, and a lovely, quiet atmosphere. AND THERE'S A MANGO LASSI DISPENSER. I go here for lunch most days when I'm in P'ville. Then I get the bill, and it's $10, and I weep with joy.
(5)John S.
We were hungry for some Indian food and picked Aman's based on the reviews. First off it is not easy to find. It is in a strip mall up a hill with poor signage. The setting is clean and casual. We were greeted promptly and the server came quickly with those Indian crackers and an assortment of chutneys. Very good. When we ran out they quickly brought more. We order a few appetizers which were excellent. There were six of us in our party and we all ordered something different. We all ordered spicy and it was!!! Very good. Warning the chili naan is pretty hot. Beware a bite with a lot of chilies in it. They brought more rice without having to ask. The food was excellent but the service was great. The staff made you feel at home. It was a a nice surprise how good it was. If you're in the mood for Indian you're in for a treat at Aman's.
(5)The D.
Wow this is the best Indian Buffet I have ever been to! The food is all excellent! I got here early when they were just opening so everything was extremely fresh. I like that they make the Naan bread fresh for each table rather than sitting under a heat lamp on the buffet. All around the food was great and there was nothing I did not enjoy. Even the Goat was very good. Usually when I try goat dishes they are mostly bone and all fat. But this had nice big pieces of meat! And to top it off it is the nicest looking Indian buffet I ever saw. Would not think twice about going back!
(4)Bryan E.
My family eats here almost every weekend. The lunch buffet is always fresh and delicious, with several popular dishes in rotation. We also visit for dinner, where there are additional entrees. The service is just as awesome. They're friendly, and quick to make sure that everyone is taken care of. We've visited many India restaurant's, and this is our favorite.
(5)Mahesh G.
Nice ambience, good food and great service.
(4)Martha M.
Service was amazing, food was delicious and the place was decorated just right. I especially liked the Ganesh portraits on the walls.
(5)Deirdre L.
nice interior and friendly attentive servers. The entrees were tasty but the butter chicken seemed different from what I've normally had. The appetizers and naan were all spot on. We left very full
(4)Kat S.
Very happy we went here. First, the place itself is gorgeous inside. Nothing like other Indian places we've been to in the area with plastic-covered broken seats. Someone with a good design eye decorated the place. Had the vegetable samosas (surprisingly spicy but delicious), chicken jalfrezi (with fresh sauteed veggies), chicken tikka masala (creamy & flavorful- an absolute must), naan (perfect), lachha paratha (recommended by our server- different & interesting, but I still like naan better) & raitta (fresh & cooling). Service was great- attentive but not intrusive. Will be back!!
(5)LeeAnne P.
I went to the Phoenixville location and I will admit I was a little worried when I went here because it was empty and in a strip mall, but it proved me wrong. They put a basket with cracker like things on the table with some sauces which was great to start. We loved them so much we asked for more. The menu has a lot of different items and a huge selection of vegetarian items. I got the chicken patia which has great flavor and huge chunks of chicken. My husband had a lamb dish that he devoured as well. They give you plenty of basmati rice to soak up all of the sauce that comes with you meal. They have a wide selection of naan which I loved. The garlic and potato were awesome and the pieces were a decent size. The service was friendly, quick, and attentive, but it was also fairly empty in there so that probably helped. The way they give you the food was a little different almost like there was a hierarchy as to who sets the food on the table. They serve out dishes I could but at target which I thought was slightly odd, but it gets the job done. It's definitely one if the better Indian places to eat in the area and I would definitely go back.
(4)Mutant D.
I'm so happy Aman opened a place in Phoenixville, very close to home. We always go for the lunch buffet, great value and you get to try a bunch of different dishes. The restaurant is always very clean and well maintained. The staff always friendly and helpful. The food is AMAZING, and always fresh. Excellent Chili Chicken, and Chicken Tikka Masala. All of the food is delicious and fresh. Highly recommended. The fresh naan brought to your table is a nice touch.

Aman's Indian Bistro (277 Schuylkill Road) is now open for business at their new Phoenixville location (their Chalfont location was voted a "Top Rated Restaurant 2012" by Restaurant.com ). It will be the only place in the 'ville serving Indian cuisine, and our first impression of the new location is very positive. At Aman's you have the option of a full dinner menu after 5Pm, ordering online during normal business hours, or you can experience the joy known as the lunch buffet (as we did) from 11:30 TO 2:30 Mon - Fri (or noon to 3, on Sat and Sun). The cost is only $10.95 and the selection is vast... From your standard Indian buffet offerings of Chicken Tikka Masala, Tandoori Chicken, Samosa, Saag, Curry, etc. to the rarer items, each dish tastes freshly prepared as if it was served as your main dinner entree. The best part is, since it's a buffet, you can sample many of these delicious entrees. On this day, there were a few interesting standouts... Navratan Korma: A Mughlai dish that gets its name (meaning nine gems) from the nine different veggies, fruit and nuts used in it. Served with hot Naan bread, it's an awesome addition to an already plentiful offering. Goat Rogan Josh: A staple of Kashmiri cuisine this dish consists of braised goat chunks cooked in a gravy of browned onions, yogurt, garlic, ginger and aromatic spices (cloves, bay leaves, cardamom and cinnamon). If you're not used to seeing goat on a buffet, don't worry... It's excellent and well worth a try. Mulligatawny Soup: A fresh vegetable and lentil soup with herbs. Velvet smooth and silky delicious! Gajar Halwa: A sweet dessert pudding of grated carrot cooked with water, milk, and sugar. Simple formula, complex flavor. Best Indian food around! Not only is the place clean but the decor is nice too. We started off with the vegetable samosa, spicy and delicious! For dinner we had chicken mahkni, Malia kofta and paneer tikka masala. It was all sooo good, the kofta was my favorite but they were all fabulous. The paneer was soft, and the sauce was on point. We also had mango lussi and we got naan and garlic naan. I can't wait to come back! This is a MUST if you are a fan of Indian food at all.
(5)Lindsay Y.
I've had my fair share of Indian restaurants and this one is quite impressive. Excellent service, delicious food and plentiful portions. Not to mention it's byob. Glad Aman's decided to open up a location in Phoenixville.
(5)Julie R.
I LOVE this little gem. I've been dying for a close-to-home Indian restaurant forever. I started by ordering carry-out. You can put in your order online, which is WONDERFUL. I went into the restaurant and was greeted immediately. They sat me down, asked if I needed a drink or anything and told me my food was coming right out. They were so attentive and I wasn't even eating there. I've had the lunch buffet three times now, including today. I love it and you can not beat it for $10. I've been to Indian buffets all over PA and MD and this is really top notch. The food is fresh and hot and I've never seen the little trick they use to keep the rice fresh and light. They put plastic wrap over the warmer pan and put the rice on top of that. So you still get the heat from the pan but the rice isn't sitting there getting hard or stale. Brilliant! The naan is not stacked in a pile on the buffet, it's made to order, but it's included. It's warm and fluffy with the perfect amount of ghee. Tikka masala is my favorite, but honestly everything on the line is terrific. Just enough spice, but choices for non-spice people, like my hubby. He isn't a huge Indian food fan but managed three platefuls. The only and I mean ONLY thing that was not top notch in my opinion was the gulab jamun on the bar. It was the really tiny balls and the syrup was very very warm. Every place I've had it has a different style and this one seemed a little lemony to me. I like them larger and on the plain side with a lukewarm honey syrup. Then again I'm spoiled since my best friend's mother is visiting from India and has made me homemade three times since being here! Not related to the restaurant at all, but the few times I've been there some customers seem very rude. Very loud and disrespectful to the staff and other diners. There were two people on cell phones, one on SPEAKER, today and I could tell the staff was a little embarrassed, but didn't want to upset those customers. Which I thought was nice. I can ignore stuff like that when I'm arm deep in a good plate of masala!

We are regulars....but this place is anything but regular. The food is excellent whether off the menu or the buffet. One of us is vegan and the manager always suggsts new options and even will alter dishes to cook them with coconut milk to keep it vegan. The veg samosas are absolutely the best I have ever had, flaky and light pastry, and I have eaten in m most of the indian restaurants in the Phila area. Try aloo beans, if t they have it (ask because it isn't on the menu). The service is warm and friendly and interior is pretty and new. They also treat kids with a small lassi, so this is now my daughter's favorite place too.

It is hard to find Indian restaurants, which are consistent in taste. I am glad we found Aman's. I once visited their East Norriton location. It wasn't that great. But this one was pretty good. There were nice selection of vegetarian and non vegetarian appetizers on the buffet. And also a good spread of entree and desserts. Some of the Indian restaurants have some tacky ambiance, but the decor here is nice. The price is also pretty competitive. I will visit here again.

In a word, ugh. Had the buffet, which at the Aman's in Norristown is fabulous.....notsomuch here. The food was poor quality, not much of it and very small. And really.....isn't halva made from carrots? This thing looked Iike crumbled up cornbread. The people were rude, "too busy" to get me change (there is no register up front) and they start staring at you the minute you're done eating until you leave. These places cannot be owned by the same people. Not impressed, not going back. Save your money or drive to Norristown!

Saw review and expected more. But disappointed. Food is just ok, not that great. Not a place you go regularly.
(3)David B.
Very clean and the friendliest Indian restaurant I have encountered. I had the lunch buffet for $10 and every item was outstanding! The Naan is provided steaming hot in a personal basket and the chutney, Masala Chai tea, soup and dessert are all included. I was there the minute they opened and the entire buffet was hot and fresh. The staff were friendly and cleared my *4* plates without hesitation. Since I was the first customer of the day, and received the first receipt, I joked about what I won for coming in as #1. (I waited for the eye roll, as my lack of wit usually initiates) The guy came back with a big smile and said that he covered my tax for the meal. That $0.60 gesture earned him $2 extra in the tip as well as a returning customer. I may return tomorrow or maybe for dinner tonight!

"To a man with an empty stomach, food is God." ~ Mahatma Gandhi Two locations: 277 Schuylkill Road, Phoenixville and 3326 Limekiln Pike, Chalfont. BYOB Aman's (Phoenixville) is located on the outskirt of town in a seedy strip mall, up on the hill, and can easily be missed. We passed it on first try because their sign gets lost on the big board at the road, and their logo looks a lot like that of a grocery store. I saw it, and first thought it was a Stop & Shop. The space is absolutely spotless, and the service staff is easygoing, helpful and k n o w the food. They dress in crisp, clean dress shirts, and bring your food out on a handy cart. It was nice to see that they weren't maneuvering five entrees on their hips and arms the way servers are required to work in other restaurants. We shared the Veggie Samosa, Alu Gobi and Bhindi; everything was prepared perfectly. If you're traveling from any point of Berks, Montgomery or Chester Counties, this is by far the nicest and most authentic Indian restaurant in the area. You can also order takeout online, but I can't wait to go back.
(4)Avinash M.
Food is too good but service is pathetic.....staff here don't even care whether you exist or not...its maybe because they aren't paid enough or whatever but I always feel lack the warmth here which customer looks for....again I would say, try lunch buffet and go for food not for service

What a wonderful surprise to taste authentic Indian food in an area far from the city. If you're in the area, it's a good choice.

We've visited many India restaurant's, and this is our favorite.

nice interior and friendly attentive servers. The entrees were tasty but the butter chicken seemed different from what I've normally had. The appetizers and naan were all spot on. We left very full

(5)Lindsay Y.
I've had my fair share of Indian restaurants and this one is quite impressive. Excellent service, delicious food and plentiful portions. Not to mention it's byob. Glad Aman's decided to open up a location in Phoenixville.
(5)Jerry Z.
First time at this Indian restaurant. Very good food and highly attentive wait staff. Bar-B-Qued Tandoori chicken was medium spicy and delicious. Chicken Shaki Korma I didn't taste but my wife found it great. We'll definitely return.

(5)Alex W.
Couldn't believe it
(5)Bob S.
Aman's Indian Bistro? They should call it AMEN INDIAN BISTRO. This place is a true blessing! The jalapeno naan was otherworldly! Suffice it to say by the end of the meal there was NAAN LEFT!

(4)Adam F.

Closed for a private party today. We couldn't get lunch. Very small to go containers yesterday for their buffet. Decent food but missing some care.

I'm satisfied this restaurant very good service as usual good buffet and atmosphere is good music is so peaceful.over all good experience
(5)Ronny K.
pretty sure this was the place we are it and pretty sure, even though i'm usually hesitant about fancy-looking Indian places, that the food was delicious!
(5)John S.
Lunch time buffet is the best value meal within a 100 miles. High quality with unique flavorful dishes. Simple elegant decor and good service. I am a vegetarian and they have many delicious items. Love spicy foods and their mango pudding is delicious. Highly recommended!
(5)Ray P.
(3)Joy L.
Rice, naan, fruits, desserts.. yum!!
(4)Jeff T.

I found this place by an accident! Very close to Philadelphia Premium Outlet Mall. Very authentic Indian food. Food quality was good. Great selection and nice staff. I will definitely try again when I am in this area.

Only reason this doesn't get 4 is the lack of variety. I usually hit this place for the lunch buffet and it is the same thing week in and week out. That said the food is excellent and the dining/takeout is even better.

Fantastic Food and Fantastic service. I've done lunch and dinner here. The owner is extremely polite and engaging to all the guests.

Amazing !

My favorite indian restaurant so far around the western suburbs of philly. You can expect a high quality and delicious food at this place. Reasonably priced. You can definitely pick this restaurant when you have many options. Food tastes exactly how it should be. Been there twice for buffet and was extremely satisfied.

The appetizers and entrees were fabulous. Perfect spicing. The naan was good, but not great. Perfectly serviceable, but not nearly as good as the rest of the meal.

Finally have an Indian Restaurant in Phoenixville and a good one at that! Had chicken curry with the vegetable pakora appetizer. Both were excellent. I asked for spicy curry and definitely got it. Good atmosphere, seating, staff, etc. Will be making many return trips.

Eaten here several times. Food is excellent and can be as spicy as you want. Flavors are great - only bad thing is we can't order all our favorites every time. Service is friendly but slow. It can take a while to get the check. Portion sizes are generous and we always have leftovers. Very kid friendly!
