This was my former after work/ exhale spot. The food is amazing especially the chicken wings and spring rolls. To my surprise the owner of this restaurant also are the owners of Avianna in Lansdowne. This location is definitely more upbeat and more busy because of its location. I can get the best of both worlds. If I feel like "hanging out," I can go to Taste of Asia and if I want to "mellow out": with the hubby, I can got to Avianna. Same great food and same great prices.

people ride past often because it looks like a bar on the outside but if you knew what I know you would make this stop. it's crazy that one of the best T-bone steaks I've ever had came from a bar. steamed clams, garlic butter shrimp, fried chicken wings, and their shrimp fried rice is the best I've ever had the list goes on. how often do you find a 3 page menu at a bar. The place is never packed when I go and even though it's not in the best neighborhood the knucklheads seem to stay out of here. The staff are always the sweetest Asian women. and like Tim said the 36 goes straight here and the 108 lets you off a block away. You won't be disappointed

Located in an obscure part of Philadelphia, Taste of Asia offers fabulous Thai food for a reasonable price. This place is small, and seems to be more popular as a low-key bar than a restaurant. I have gotten several different dishes from this place, and have never gone wrong. The best part about this place is the food taste fresh; the vegetables especially. As I said, there is a bar there. My only "complaint" is that they don't offer any beer on draft. That is minor for me since most of the time I get food to go. They have quite a few tables, and the place is new and clean so definatley a sit-down place, too! Prices are good. If this place was in the of those "cool" neighborhoods like Manyunk, Roxborough, UPenn area, etc this place would have had about a dozen rave reviews here on Yelp by now. But since it is in "uncool" Eastwick, it only has this one so far. The place is family owned and operated. The owners really seem to care about the community. Eastwick rocks! This place is also along the 36 Septa trolley route. So easy to get to if you live in Center City/West Philly and want great Thai food. Check it out, you won't go wrong. Trust me.

I get the same things all the time but I can't help it... The wings are really good. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff is pleasant too.

Great little local Thai restaurant. When you enter you would not think Thai but the pho, orange chicken, spring rolls and steamed dumplings were all fantastic.. Obviously a local favorite as people were greeted personally by the 2 people serving but it did not distract from good service to non-locals. Very close to the airport hotels but you would need a car to get here however they do delivet

We are in this area of Philly for a trade show and found this restaurant. We eat a lot of Asian food and this is hands down the best Thai food we have ever had. The staff is very friendly and very attentive. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone

Great little place near my neighborhood with good food and a bar. Will definitely be going back!

The Shrimp pad Thai was tasty, but the tails were still on the shrimp, which made it messy and awkward to eat.

taste of asia is a quaint chinese restaurant/bar/club in the middle of a not so good neighborhood with above average food. the menu is kind of an asian fusion, with awesome chicken wings and nice thai noodles. there is a bar were you can get some strong mixed drinks also and at night on a weekend, there was actually a DJ playing some sweet music. I came here for a friend's bday dinner but would not have come here otherwise. If I am ever in the area again, I would come here just for some delicious chicken wings!

Close to the airport, food was okay...not too impressed. On a positive note Its open till midnight, which is great since everything closes early. Service and prices were good.

I came here during my stay near a Philadelphia airport hotel because I read lot of good reviews. I ordered before and then went to pick up. The hotel is indeed in a bad location, before entering I see a board saying "Place for sale-By owner"....which is obviously not a very appealing experience to see. I enter and I see completely empty restaurant with only 2 people sitting at the corner. The restaurant people seemed really nice but the food was awfully bad and the price seemed more than what I pay here at NJ. Looks like their business is going downhill.

Not far from the airport making it a perfect short layover restaurant. Had the pan fried noodle dish, quite tasty. Service was attentive. Building is small enough to be quaint, large enough not to be claustrophobic. I'd go back.
