This hidden gem is in the Rodin place shopping strip. Getting here if you are not walking from the museums would be driving where parking is not too hard to find and the 7,32,48,33 bus are less than a block away. I had the bulgogi bibimbap which had a good assortment of vegetables and came with fried egg. The owner and chef are really nice and treat their customers well. While I was waiting the owner gave us mandoo (dumplings) to try out and that was delicious too. Give this place a chance when you want to try Korean food again for the first time and they have good lunch specials.

My husband and I recently moved to Fairmount and decided to try this place out. We were so happy after our meal we actually high-fived. We got a small size of lots of different types of their chicken, p-wings, pop wings, tenders, and teriyaki wings. Everything was completely delicious. The wings are big and meaty and the flavors are outstanding. It was fresh, hot, and just awesome. We highly recommend the mild garlic p-wings. They were crunchy and sweet and had an awesome burst of flavor. We will definitely be Chicken Bowl regulars from now on. The menu itself seems very limited, but they have lots of other options when you go inside the restaurant itself. I think they are fairly new so they are trying out what works. The guys that work there are so friendly and sweet as well! Can't wait to go back!

I work near this place and I'm so glad they came! It was even better when they began to serve breakfast. They have a Korean Fusion menu with some Korean dishes along with an extensive chicken poppers/wings selection. You can also find burgers. I like the Korean part of the menu and I often order the Sweet Potato Noodles with beef. It is such a flavorful dish and comes with veggies and it is served on rice. For $8 I get a nice sized lunch portion and a can of soda. The breakfast is great too! My favorite part of the breakfast is that they make it there (not WaWa!). Lastly, the men who run it are so nice and that is important to me too!

"We're here to make the customer happy!" The owner said that today to me and the other five people having a late breakfast. Today was probably the 13th or 14th time I've visited Fusion Chicken Bowl, every time I'm asked 'how is everything? Would you like to try this new menu item?' My reply; wonderful, sure! I adore their chicken, my favorite is the pop bites, closely followed by the Korean wings then the 3 piece fried chicken. And the owner knows to ring me up for the fried rice cakes whenever I get dinner.

I was very excited when this restaurant opened and it certainly did not fail to impress. The decor is modest but the food is extraordinary. The fried chicken is wonderfully spiced and made fresh to order but that's not even the half of it. Everything I've had on the menu, both chicken and Korean, (which with school right there has been quite a bit) is out of this world and the staff is very pleasant and always ready with a free sample. This restaurant succeeds on all counts and I hope it will be there for quite some time.

The owners here are the real draw. Very nice and accommodating! The food however is just ok. It is basically Americanized Korean food, nothing special.

I have passed by here several times and never went it. Stopped by today, it's a great place for a cheap lunch, the food is made to order so expect about a 5 min wait but the food is good. The place seats about 25 people so plenty of space to hang out. Owners are friendly and attentive. The owner told me "If the customers are happy, I am happy" and for that, I will come back here.

Loved the steamed veggie bowl, gotten it with beef and chicken. I like it so much I haven't tried the rest of the menu. Definitely worth trying, hope its in the neighborhood to stay!!!

Great place. We were warmly welcomed by the owning couple the second we walked in. The woman gave us samples of three different items and showed us the daily special. I got the sweet potato noodle and it was great! A little bit too oily but still very good. We also got two Philly cheesesteaks which were very good. The veggie bowl was amazing. My friend claimed it was one of the top 5 best things he's ever eaten. Must try if you're in the area. Best thing near museum for sure!

This place's posted hours include a 10PM closing time. I walked in at 8:30 and, as soon as I got to the counter, the guy said to me "kitchen's closed." The grill, fryers, etc were all being covered up. First of all, if your kitchen is closed, why is the door to your restaurant unlocked? Secondly, I could see this being the case if I walked in at, say, 9:55PM. But 8:30? That's ridiculous.

Smiling as I write this...This is basically an Asian diner type establishment. Philly Fusion's meals are delivered fast and yet it is not "fast" food. We were already ecstatic over finding $7 parking n Fairmount so the visit to this place was icing on the cake. How to describe this little gem? Located on the ground floor of the Rodin Square Apartment building it is a cute little Asian eatery with friendly staff/owners who warmly greet you from behind the counter as you enter. You walk up to the counter and order from the menu board or one of their daily specials. Today's special was a great value. I have to say this was a pleasant experience as the cooks make suggestions and will add items as you wish to anything you order. AND, these guys are funny. They had my friend and I cracking up as we ordered. We went with 2 standard menu items of chicken and fried rice with an additional side of veggies for $1 from their small yet adequate menu. I say adequate in that the meal also included a beverage from their cooler. You can select bottled water or any of approximately 7 soda/tea selections. We seated ourselves for our meals to be ready and they chef came over and gave us a sample of his Asian Cole Slaw which was very good. Both of our totally satisfying chicken meals including beverages were $6.99/person I believe Philly Fusion and Chicken Bowl will be successful due to their very friendly and warm service and good food.

In a desperate attempt to fulfill a craving for some korean fried chicken (bonchon), we gave this place a try for take out on a Saturday night. I didn't hate it, but it didnt hit the spot like actual, authentic, bonchon would. To me, they just tasted like regular wings. The sauce was ok, but not what I was expecting. I would still give this place a try for other items on their menu..maybe. If you're in the city and looking for authentic bonchon..........i would just wait until the franchise opens (SOON) in Chinatown or make the drive to one of the Cafe Soho's. #JUSTSAYING

My wife and I came here. And the owner or employee was very welcoming. And he was pretty hilarious. He explained everything perfectly. The food was great and he had recommendations for different food to try. I will definitely be returning here. Get the sweet potato beef bulgogi bowl. It ruled. Oh and it rules they stole the phillies logo for part of their sign.

Definitely an under-appreciated spot in Fairmount. I normally come here several times per week and the grilled chicken with lo mein is excellent and always made fresh. The owner/manager is a friendly guy who can help you navigate through the menu and explains customers' favorite dishes. The interior has ample room for eat-in dining, but don't come here if you're looking for something fancy. My only suggestion/complaint to the chicken bowl would be to focus on what you're best at - Korean fusion - as opposed to some of the random strictly American dishes (cheesesteaks). I'd love if they would expand their menu to include other fusion dishes.

One of my favorite spots in Fairmount for a quick bite to eat. The food is fresh, tasty and you can order healthy. The owner is super friendly and helpful.

This place is great for certain dishes. Unfortunately I rarely see people inside and have no idea why. The manager is super friendly! I would recommend the bulgogi bi bim bap, no other decent place to get it in the Fairmount area. The wings are also exceptionally good. You should call in ahead of time to order them, but they are worth the wait. I have gotten them take out and they have had to steam in the box for 45 min before I have taken them out - and they will still crispy and delicious! I would not recommend the japchae or dumplings. They should have more Korean options! That is what makes them special in the Fairmount area, not hoagies and cheesesteaks! The lunch specials look like a great deal but I am never over there then; would be good to try.

I really don't recomend the place. The food didn't taste so good, and it was expensive for what I had

All plates were made to order. We got great food and service at a very reasonable price. The manager on duty was welcoming and very friendly.

The afternoon lunch specials are cheap, but you get what you pay for. I have walked by this place many times and have never seen someone inside. Despite having good yelp reviews, My better judgement kept me out until today when I decided to try this place out. My chicken and fries combo was not good. The chicken was okay at best and served on soggy fries. Good thing I did not have to wait long. With wawa next door, I know where I'll go next time I'm looking for a quick lunch.

Say what you will about this place that is, let's face it, a bit of a hole in the wall, but their lunch specials are the real deal. I've only gotten the bibimbop and I recommend it highly. Massive quantities of veggies and the egg was just how I like it, fried over easy. Plus the beef was better than giwa's. It also comes with a drink. I haven't checked out the rest of the menu but they also have breakfast with the typical mix of eggs, sausages, and bacon.
