I enjoyed the food. It was plentiful and very tasty. However, I'm not sure if I'll go back. If others suggest it, i'll go but it is good. Here's why I'm on the fence: Parking is a chore. We drove around and around forever until we found a spot. We then waited and waited and waited to be seated. It's tight inside so we were seated and it just wasn't comfortable with the wait staff walking by so closely. It's cash only, which is fine if you remember. The service was fine not great not bad, it was ok. The food is really good though.

This place was amazing 2 years ago. Now, it's horrible. The food will go through you quickly... Like, right through you! Far too many screaming babies and everything is soaked in sugar and butter. I stopped going here about a year ago because the food took a nose dive and the atmosphere plummeted... Against my better judgment, I just went back and got the cob salad. Under ten minutes after I left, I had an urgent situation where if I didn't find a bathroom ASAP, I would have shit my Levi's. Never going back, for real this time.

We visited Green Eggs in a large group. Naturally, four members were slightly late. The wait staff made nothing of it and, in fact, we're outstandingly courteous. The creme brûlée French Toast was the group hit! This restaurant is busy and yet we were never rushed and our service was outstanding. The food is delicious beyond description! I can't wait to get back to Phillie to revisit Green Eggs.

The staff here are really sweet, and service is good overall. Last time I was here I had the shrimp and grits, which was phenomenal. My only complaint is that we were offered coffee when we were waiting outside in the cold for a table. It was definitely made to seem like it was complimentary, and a consolation for us waiting outside in the cold. The coffee ended up on our bill. When I complained they explained refills aren't free- coffee is only free outside. I hadn't had a refill, so they took that off, but they charged my friend for her refill. This just seemed incredibly tacky to me and not good customer service. Not a huge deal, just something that rubbed me the wrong way on principle.

I can not rave enough about the food and staff here! We visit this place fairly often and have left very satisifed each time. Every dish we have had is absolutely amazing. Do not pass up on the chicken and waffles!!

Dined here multiple times for brunch. This review is based solely on the breakfast aspect. I've had the "Kitchen Sink" entree which was pretty good - just super heavy for breakfast if you're looking for a lighter/healthier option. Today I had the veggie Benedict which was also good - came just as expected not amazing but not bad. They serve you an abundance of potatoes with your dish. They have healthy options and vegetarian/vegan options as well. Service is great - servers are always enthusiastic.

One of our favorite Brunch spots in the city! The short ribs Benedict and Red Velvet pancakes are to die for! The service staff operates on par with that of a 5 star establishment. Always clean and always delicious. And we love knowing that everything is "homemade" and not prepackaged processed food. Worth the trip into the city every time.

I had high hopes for this cafe as it looked artsy and stylish and had the atmosphere of a cool cafe with a menu that boasted of some different breakfast treats. Our server was great and very helpful. The cafe is near a day cafe so lots of moms and their little ones were in the cafe too. The food was not great and I was very disappointed withe red velvet pancakes which were touted to be most popular. They were dry and had little taste. I was happy though to see that they served La Columbe coffee, which is my favorite and it saved the meal from being a complete disaster. Overall, it's a good place to stop in if you are in a bind but there are so many other great places in Philly to chose for brunch.
