As soon as I heard that there's a Circles down the street from my job, I was so excited to finally give it a try. There's two other locations (that I know of), one in South Philly and the other in Northern Liberties. This is the first location that I've tried, and it's been open for less than a month now. I had their Pad Kee Mao twice and both times were amazing. The first time, I ordered to-go and the second time, I dined in. I found that both times, the portions were very large and I always had enough to save for later -- which is always a plus in my book. The only thing I'd say is to be careful with their spice level. I ordered a mild the first time, and it was perfect. However, when I dined in, I opted for 'hot' and while the flavors were still there, I found that it was a little too spicy for me. On another note, they have the best calamari of any Thai restaurant that I've been to in the city. Overall, I will definitely be coming back to try more dishes!

I was originally craving fish tacos but decided on Thai food. I ordered using Caviar. I got vegetables spring rolls, pad kee mao and lemongrass soup. As I started eating the lemongrass soup I noticed that there was string in the soup. The string was interlaced with the veggies in the soup. The food is pretty good but I have had better Thai food. Lemongrass soup situation gives this place 3 stars.

Much room for improvement. I actually enjoyed Tuk Tuk Real (restaurant by the same Chef, Alex Boonphaya) better than this one so far. Being asian and loving Thai food, as well as having already been to one of the other two locations... I had fairly high expectations for this place. Notes: - The cheesesteak rolls come with ketchup. They are elevated to such a higher level, when you dip them in Sriracha. Plus, it just makes sense, given the nature of the restaurant. We asked for some on the side. While it did take the waitress a while, as well as two more reminders, to finally secure us some Sriracha... It was worth it. - It's a BYOB, so I loved the idea of having a mixer menu on the back... Until the waitress told that none of them were available, and she wasn't sure when they would be. Looking forward to trying them, whenever they do. - I ordered the "Crispy" Red Snapper with curry/veg, and my boyfriend ordered the Pad Thai Duck. Each entree came with the available spice level options of Mild, Medium, Hot, and 'Thai hot'. The waitress said that the Thai Hot was 13 on a scale of 1 to 10 and would probably burn her face off. Stemming from that advice, bf ordered Medium and I ordered Hot. However, his ended up a zero (not spicy), and mine tasted like a Mild-Medium. Also, the red snapper was not crispy at all. I thought that redemption time had finally come for dessert. They have Sticky Rice w/ Mango (bf's favorite... ever ever ever). Unfortunately, the waitress told us that just like the entire drink menu, this too was unavailable. I guess you can't find worthy mangoes all the time, oh well. To end on a good note, the Thai Coffee was our favorite thing we had that night. BF doesn't even like coffee, but after trying mine, he decided to have one himself. Despite my overall unimpressed view of the place, I will return eventually. Hopefully, my experience the next time around will be better. Cheers!

This restaurant is a great addition to the society hill area. I have gotten take out from this place three times in the last month. The crab pad thai was excellent. The pumpkin curry is unlike anything I have ever had in Thai restaurant. I got food from here for a large family dinner last weekend and everyone was extremely pleased.

Just got delivery from Circles and boy was I happy with how quick they were! (I was starving...and also hungover) I got the Thai rice soup and Pad Woonsen. The soup was spicy and flavorful but a little on the salty side. The Pad Woonsen was absolutely delicious! Authentic or not, this Thai food was good! I'd definitely order again

Good things come in threes. Circles just opened its third location, so therefore it must be good. Even after just attending the Circles Headhouse grand opening, I have good feelings. The strongest feeling is a sense of familiarity. The sampling menu of the evening consisted of crab ragoon, pork and crab dumplings, cheesesteak egg rolls, lemon grass soup, Thai beef salad, papaya salad and garlic basil fried rice. The fried rice and soup were the standouts amongst stellar offerings. The fried rice tasted like Circles. If you've been to their other locations, you know that's a good thing. If you haven't, now you know. The lemon grass was perfectly seasoned and had a nice little kick. To be honest, I enjoyed Tuk Tuk Real, the former Chef Boonphaya restaurant in this location, but I've always enjoyed the other Circles spots a little more. If there was any way to bring the Tuk Tuk Real lamb nachos to this new Circles, euphoria would be reached.
