The food is here is good if you are looking for a quick bit to eat. However what needs to be noted about his location is the staff and the service. They folks that work here are incredibly kind and enthusiastic. Every time my husband and I go here we talk about the people - which is enough to make us keep coming back. The gentleman that cooks the meat is so pleasant that you feel like you are in your Uncle's house. The folks working the front make sure you have everything you need and are super attentive. The have plates here and they bring your food to you then clean the table. Amazing.

Best Boston Market I've been to in Philly this far. The service is awesome, I've never been greeted with such warmth and patience as I decide how many pieces of cornbread I want to take home. The chicken is perfectly cooked and juicy. The Mac and cheese and green beans continue to be my "go to"s for sides, and they never disappoint!

This Boston Market stands above the rest. You can expect the great food but this location has the best service. Living in philly, its so rare to find courtesy at a fast food chain. This stores exemplifies this. First off, you walk right in, the store looks super clean. We picked the garlic spinach and so they made a fresh batch for us but it took longer than expected. The cashier hooked us up with a free drink for waiting. You can order online also and pick up in the store. Check online too for specials. I got the buy one get on individual meal for free!

South Philly. I always loved Boston market. This is where I get my Thanksgiving craving when it is not Thanksgiving. Food is always yum and always a pleasant place to eat.

This Boston market is just okay. It is not a bad place to go to eat but the quality of the food is not consistent. This time we ordered chicken pot pies and they were not so great and the cornbread tasted like store-bought cornbread. It wasn't fresh and tasty like it usually is. Typically, there is a line of people depending on when you go but if it's at lunchtime or dinner time expect to wait. I would suggest ordering ahead if you have a timed lunch. The roasted chickens are always great and their sides are typically really good. The chicken salad wasn't so great this time either which was a huge disappointment. Sometimes the food here is out of this world phenomenal and sometimes it's just mediocre. It is not always consistent. The staff is usually very friendly; they work fast to get the lines taken care of and it's generally clean which is a plus.

Got this to-go (eating here is a bit depressing)( but Judy and Beth - working the lunch line were friendly and polite. Got a 3 piece dark meat platter with brocolli and green beans on the side. (Came with cornbread). Not good for you - but better than the 980 calorie BOMB chicken pot pie that my friends all got (It's tasty.). An acceptable alternative to Tony Luke's and IHOP.

One of the better fast food choices in the area. The staff is pretty friendly here, especially at lunch time on the weekdays. I am a big fan of the chicken carver sandwich on wheat bread.

Customer Service- Great customer service. I love how they bring your food out to you. Presentation- The place is set up well. Usually clean etc Food- The Food is awesome. The side selection has me back again and again. My favorites are the mac & cheese and the sweet potatoes. The chicken is ok too. Not the worst not the best. Price- The price is reasonable. Also there is no tipping so that keeps the cost down. Me- I order the "meal for 5" every Thanksgiving. It has become our Thanksgiving tradition.

Growing up, I loved the idea of Boston Chicken (before they added ham, turkey, meatloaf to become Market). Since living in Philadelphia, there are so many mom & pops that make this food much better (Phoebe's, Ron's, etc). Still, Boston Market is good at what they do... and they've cut prices recently to compete with the bustling sandwich business of the Quiznos, the Subways, the Wawas. Once in a while, on a cold Sunday night, I like to go to Boston Market with some loved ones, and load up on sides (I often just get the side platter). I go to the one on 39th & Chestnut in West Philadelphia. It's always crowded, and very community-oriented.

Every time i goto Modell's to buy new awesome work out equipment like dumbbells, and foot clamps, and slap hooks for lifting free weights or you know, if I shredded one of my underamour tees and i need a new one because I dont like working out without them because I just dont feel as clingy and stuff.... I ALWAYS end up going to the Boston Market. I dont particularly like chicken, but I love this place. Sometimes i just get like 13 dollars worth of sides and just mix um all together to make a delightful Boston Market Stew for me and my girlfriend. Mac n Cheese and BBQ chicken thing and String beans and Other ones. Its awesome. And I really like that they have Barq's root beer. Its the best.

3.5 stars i usually hate going to fast food chains (is boston market considered fast food?) in philadelphia purely because of the workers and crowds. I don't usually don't eat the food, i mainly go because my friends go there to eat and i'm just there for the ride. well, saturday night i decided to try some boston market, which i haven't had in years! the place wasn't overly crowded, as my group of friends accounted for 11 people alone. the workers here were really nice (i was really surprised) and they didn't have the attitudes i ALWAYS run into at places like these. The workers were so nice that i wanted to tip them!!! but they didn't have a tip jar. the portion of food was pretty sizable -- i ordered 3 piece dark meat meal, didn't come with a drink but i don't drink soda anyways. It was $7.50? not bad considering i shared it with my brother because i couldnt' finish all of it. the chicken was really moist and fall off the bone type. the seasoning on the sides (stuffing, mash potatoes and gravy) weren't over seasoned. the dining area was clean and had ample space even if it was crowded. i can't give it 4 stars because i'm not a fan of fast food...but in comparison to the other places in Philadelphia, i'd say this place ranks pretty high---beats mc'ds and burger king down the street on Oregon! those places are the worse ever!
