Pretty mediocre, everything was okay but nothing was great. The pad thai was eh but the spring rolls were good.

we went to Asian fusion for a Christmas eve lunch and order the triple teriyaki lunch deal, spent 40 dollars for 3 shrimp, little pieces of chicken and little pieces of steak with lot of shredded lettuce (for what) raw broccoli and carrot. Lots of money for nothing. we thought the teriyaki for three items would feed two people. not even enough for one. we will never go there again and will tell neighbors not to go there. A BIG RIP OFFFF!!!!!!!!!! WE EXPECTED BETTER ! FOR THAT MONEY WE COULD HAVE ORDERED IN AND HAD A FEAST - (-100 STARS ) AND WHY DIDN'T WE, WE NOW KNOW BETTER they used to be a good place to eat, but now it lacks the quality it had when it 1st opened, everybody else who went there lucked out on their service, i guess we got the worst of it.

I always order sushi for delivery from here, via online on their website. They deliver fast and the sushi is of excellent quality very fresh. I live in South Philly and its hard to find a good sushi restaurant that delivers. I used to order from Johnny Changs but their sushi is not even comparable ( JC's sushi portions are very very small ) to Asian Fusion & Steak. Honestly I went out of my way to sign up for an account to express how great their food is.

This is definitely our new favorite place, we order it weekly. The idea of the Chinese/Japanese/Thai food is kinda weird, but it seems to work here. The Chinese is solid, the only thing I wish they had was scallion pancakes on the menu. The dumplings are huge and delicate and The Thai food is pretty good, stand out is the chicken satay, the pad thai is alright. I can't speak of the Japanese because we're not huge fans. Also as a side note, the place really shouldn't be called fusion, the menu is composed of the three different types of food, the flavors do not intermingle.

I've gotten delivery from here a couple times and it's either a hit or miss depending on what I get. The spicy kani salad is always good, but the last two times I got sushi rolls they didn't seem as fresh as when I have ordered before. Besides that the delivery is quick and the prices are good. I think in the future I might try their teriyaki or noodle dishes instead of their sushi.

Called in a take out order and it was ready for me 15 minutes later when I arrived. The menu is enormous so I can't speak to the quality of all of their food but the edamame and asian fusion roll were both excellent. Prices are also very good.

Absolutely love this place and they have amazingggg sushi I don't like eating in there however because the same person who waits on u seems like the owner, cook, and front desk.. The service is like eating at a regular Chinese corner spot... But to go is awesome fast cheap for 2 orders of sushi and shrimp pad Thai came to 22$ plus don't forget free soda or free crab Rangoon unless u order more money worth of food then u get more free stuff!! I order here once a week and I love it :)

If I could give this place a 0, I would. Ordered Crab Tempura, Chicken Noodle Soup, and Chicken Udon Noodles. I don't know how this place has 4 stars. 4 small pieces of crab tempura - did not clean the crab, no meat, super bland. Both of the soups were bland, bland, bland. They pretty much sold plain noodles in boiling water. Never again. This place should not be in business. The only good thing I can mention is that they were pretty quick to deliver. But it's probably because they don't even cook.

My meal was disgusting and arrived leaking all over the place. Half of the teriyaki meal was just cooked onions. The veggies were sparse and the miso soup tasted like it was made from chicken stock and so I couldn't eat it. I'm also not sure what the greasy and tasteless chips that they threw in were. Spend your money elsewhere. That is a meal and $15 I'll never get back.

Ugh, not a fan. I ordered lunch here today because I wanted to try a new place. The hot and sour soup only made it one bite before I tossed it. Bizarre sweet flavour to it - total opposite of sour. The "chicken satay" is really just the same as chicken teriyaki from any other place, except really flavourless. I ate one piece. The beef with mixed vegetable combo was not offensive, but nothing exciting. Tons of cabbage. I won't be ordering here again.

Shrimp lo mein was okay. Shrimp was great but lo-mein was really greasy. Chicken and broccoli was good. Spring roll was soggy. I got this delivered. Can imagine it being better if I had ate in or picked up. Will be back.

I've ordered from here quite a few times, but have never eaten in, so this review is for delivery only. Their delivery is quick, the food is always hot when it arrives, and they always get our order right. One of my favorite things on their menu is the chicken satay appetizer. It's smoky, tender, and almost sweet, and it usually serves as the main portion of my meal. I've also enjoyed the cheesesteak roll, the sweet and sour chicken, and the crab rangoon. There's still plenty of stuff left on the menu that I haven't tried... yet. I agree with a previous reviewer about their dumplings being too thick skinned and flavorless. I also had an issue with their chicken fried rice being flavorless and ho-hum. Neither of these two issues is going to stop me from ordering from here again and again and again.

Best neighbors ever. No complaints yet. OH! They actually forgot my egg roll last time. But if they keep the record of screwing up 1 out of every 89239844 times. You're AOK in my book.

Consistent Chinese food by delivery can be hard to find... We gave this place another shot. Called this time; not by web order. Delivery was more prompt. Hot & Sour soup was delish. My Sezchuan style chicken was also good.

Nothing less than five stars for these guys. Best sushi in the area by far. Very clean inside and I saw gloves on everyone handling food. Support your local businesses and try them out.

We ordered from Asian Fusion and Steak based on the high yelp reviews. We were really disappointed. Ever since Asia Cafe closed, EPX has been seriously missing good Chinese food and this did not satisfy the need. We started with Pork dumplings which were really thick skinned (not my preference) and really lacked in flavor. Next came hot & sour soup which needed both soy sauce and Siracha. We like spicy food and specifically requested it, but everything was bland. The one exception was the Singapore noodles which were actually pretty decent and came with a good kick. The meat/shrimp tasted fresh and the noodles were not overcooked. I did not have the cashew chicken, but the overall response was bland and overwhelmed with celery. Based on the other reviews, i might consider it again if i am craving Japanese, but i will continue my search for Chinese delivery and rely on the Thai, Indonesian and Vietnamese in the neighborhood.

Decent cheap sushi. A good little neighborhood spot. The Chinese food is good too. Plus, they deliver! I probably wouldn't go out of my way for it but if i'm stuck with no other option I'm not going to fuss. Hopefully they can upgrade their staff to include someone who speaks english. I'm not going to go all Joe Vento here but it would be nice to be certain that my order has been properly submitted. There was a "crap shoot" vibe when i came here. Everything came out as ordered but the fact that i had doubt was a bit uncomfortable. So says the overweight hungry patron.

I just ordered from here for the first time. Thanks to some clients at work talking about sushi, I was craving sushi for dinner for delivery. My husband is not a fan of sushi, so I needed to also find a place that would have other options. My selection was limited when I searched on Yelp, since a lot of places don't deliver to my neighborhood (Pennsport). However, thanks to some positive reviews, I found Asian Fusion & Steak Inc. While I'm not really sure where the "Steak" part comes in, the menu is pretty well defined by the name. The selection of sushi isn't vast and creative, but if you just want simple sushi they have all the basics (and some weird things like Shrimp Tempura, Cucumber, and mayo... MAYO- ew).... Anyway. They have a menu through Allmenus(dot)com, and you can even order online. After debating what we wanted for nearly 15 minutes, we made and paid for our order online and awaited confirmation. Peking Duck, Sushi Combo w/ Miso soup, and Dumplings here we go! The description for the Sushi Combo was somewhat cryptic as 6pc Sushi + California Roll; I figured I could choose what kind of sushi I wanted so I wrote a note that I wanted Spicy Tuna. I quickly got an email, followed by a phone call letting us know that they were out of Peking Duck. While we were disappointed that they'd run out, we changed the order to Sesame Chicken with an Egg Roll. About 32min later (the wait is ranged 30-45min according to our email, so no problems there), our food came and I brought it up to our apartment. To our pleasant surprise, not only did I get a Spicy Tuna Roll to replace the California Roll (and got 6pc of Salmon, Tuna, and a fish I cannot remember what it is but it's tasty!), but we also got a free order of Sweet and Sour Chicken with "free, sorry" written on it, and two pint boxes of white rice. Wow! It was really nice of them to give us extra food for not having what we originally ordered. So, their customer service is great. How is the food? Pretty awesome. The sushi is solid. It tasted fresh and wasn't creepy or slimey and didn't have a fishy smell (the mark of poor sushi in my opinion). It was pretty much just as good as if it were prepared right in front of you.. and it was in a separate bag than the hot food we ordered. Major plus. The Sesame Chicken was above average - not the BEST but it's a challenge to find knock-your-socks-off chinese food in the city that is reasonably priced. It IS far better than many other places we've tried though! The dumplings were awesome and very large, with 8 to go around. I'm not a huge fan of sweet and sour chicken anyway, but I'm so impressed by their service that I don't even care. We only took a little bite each, and are saving the rest because we had so much food! If they lose a point for above average chinese food, they earn it back a million times for the awesome customer service. I wouldn't mind going there and seeing how everything is at the restaurant sometime! Definitely worth it.

Friendly service, good food, reasonable prices! We finally found a good place to satisfy when half of us wants sushi and the other half wants Chinese. I especially loved their pork lo mein. I'm looking forward to diving into their sushi a little more, my son wouldn't go any further than California rolls this time. The shrimp tempura roll looked delicious. It's hard to find a place to sit down for Chinese in South Philly, and Asian Fusion & Steak was comfortable enough. It's still more of a takeout than anything, but fine.

Ordered delivery on Eat24 to satisfy a Chinese craving. Delivery was about 45 minutes and we ordered a wide variety- steamed pork dumplings, crab Rangoon, chicken and broccoli, chicken lo mein, shrimp and mixed vegetables, and hot/sour soup. Everything, aside from the crab Rangoon (very disappointing, very small and barley any filling) was incredible. Potentially the best Chinese I've had in the city and look forward to ordering again!

Wow, the quality of food has dropped. When they first opened I would always order from them. Now I don't know who is running the place anymore but it's just really bad!!!!

Decided to eat in during the Fall with my fiancé and was pleasantly pleased. Service was great. Prices were spot-on; regular rolls, a Tropical Roll, edamame, and a couple other items only came to about $30-something including tip. Restaurant itself is quiet and family-oriented. Our waitress/hostess was very friendly and made sure we were taken care of well, even, though they were in the middle of their dinner as well. Looking forward to returning.

Let's preface this with I am not a fan of asian food; but felt the hankering for some. I ordered BBQ spare ribs, chicken with garlic sauce and a spicy tuna roll. The delivery time was accurate. Cons: it was an hour and 5 minutes for delivery. Pros: The food was awesome. The bbq spareribs weren't chewy and make you spit out types. The chicken looked like chicken. My sushi was cold and fresh. So, my view point is just been completely changed. My tummy= happy.

My wife and I were losing faith in chinese take out and basically stopped ordering. On a whim and because of the high reviews we gave this place a go, and they have restored the faith. Great food and fast delivery - awesome

Awesome ginger dressing! Miso soup is excellent! Rolls are packed full of deliciousness! And they gave us a free gift. This is a must try place!

I have gotten taken out from here a few times. The soups are great! The Pad Thai was wonderful. My kids loved there food also, and one of them is very very picky. I'm going to try the sushi next time. Fast and fresh.

I didn't expect the sushi here to be great, but it was surprisingly good! I ordered the spicy tuna and the asian fusion roll. Asian fusion was really good! I would definitely go back. It's a lot easier than going into CC for sushi. Only issue was I had to wait about 35 minutes for take out.

I am not a sushi expert, and as a vegetarian I can't comment on the fish sushi, but if what I just ate was any indication, it's probably pretty good. Ditto the Chinese and Thai selections, none of which I have tried yet. Fresh and delicious vegetables, perfectly cooked and seasoned rice, kickin' wasabi, yum. And they deliver. Oh, and I got a BUNCH of sushi for about $20! I can guarantee you I will order from this place again within the next 5-7 days. And I don't take my guarantees lightly.

First time ordering Chinese food since moving to our new neighborhood - I compared the menus we had to Yelp.com reviews and this restaurant faired well so I decided to give it a shot. I placed my order @ 5:30pm on Saturday night. The food didn't arrive until almost 7pm - that's a LONG time to wait for Chinese food delivery. Luckily it was all still hot, so I'm thinking the restaurant must have had a lot of orders - even so, it was still way too long to wait. My husband and I ordered - Pepper Steak with Onions (which he said was pretty good), Steamed Shrimp with Vegetables (just ok - I think the shrimp was way overcooked), Egg Rolls, Wonton Soup and Egg Drop Soup. Everything I had was just ok. Since we spent over $25 we were given a free quart of Lo Mein (I did have to request it). That was pretty good. I will probably try another place the next time we order. Our favorite place in Chinatown doesn't deliver - bummer - definitely the best Chinese in the city.

Asian Fusion & Steak just opened up a bit ago and let me tell you it is GREAT! They deliver quickly, the food is fresh, and delicious. Seriously, I think they might have some of the best chinese/japanese food in the city especially when you look at their prices. They have these great deals so if you spend $20 bucks you get free chicken satay or a free soda and if you spend $30 bu you get free general Tso's or sesame chicken. Their sushi rolls are a good quality and they are generous with your sides (soy sauce, wasabi, ginger). I order them delivery frequently since they opened and I have yet to be disappointed at all. I'll admit the first time I looked at their address I was doubtful, but I am so thankful I got over my doubt and tried them because they provide really excellent Asian cuisine in a timely fashion that wows me every time!

I generally find it hard to find a good, consistent sushi restaurant in this area. Even harder to find an exceptional Chinese place. AF&S is noteworthy in that it does both well, and at a reasonable price too. This is the first time I've ever ordered General Tso's and genuinely loved it. Their sushi is also great, and at a price that beats any of the other local sushi houses. In short, solid food and a good value. It's become an addiction in our apartment.

Its decent. Thats it. Not good, not bad. The General Tso's was lackluster.

My daughter and I get delivery from here almost every week. Great sushi and Chinese dinners. LOVE the avocado salad and vegetarian general tso's tofu!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
