3rd Base is an easy laid back neighborhood spot that has pretty lively weekends. It's close to home so parking isn't an issue for me, but street parking is usually pretty decent. The food is good (7/10) in comparison to other bars. Big meaty wings with decent hot sauce. The bartenders are awesome and the drinks are very reasonable. I'll definitely be back.

This is one of my favorite local Sunday Funday spots (and sometimes other days of the week too) Wings are 50 cents on Sundays and they have a variety of flavors. The 3rd Base Fries are crab fries and amazing. Food and beers are decently priced and it is never too crowded, just a chill place to hang out. Nothing too fancy or too divey but always clean. Bartenders are super nice and attentive. Parking is easy to find as well. I recently held my 30th birthday here in the upstairs private room and the staff was amazing. Patty walked me through the painless planning of the party and it was stress free. The upstairs room has its own bar and bathroom which worked out great. We brought some decorations but they had already provided tablecloths and some party decor with a personalized greeting on the chalkboard which was pleasantly unexpected. I got an appetizer buffet for my guests and I was amazed at the price for all the food. I even took home a ton of leftovers sinced they filled it twice. Drink specials were great (I didn't do an open bar or pay for the first hour but it is an option) and my guests were so happy that their bar tabs were cheap. The cook and the bartender were always around to help with whatever was needed and I was able to have a great time.

Maybe this is really different from when I came and maybe I'll try it one day if really has improved. But in the meantime, rather than give a 1, I'll give it a 2 for perhaps it has changed. But I remember when I went there, the place was new and didn't have a Yelp page and I really wanted to write how bad the service was there. This was around October 2013. And I mean VERY BAD!! Maybe you have changed, but you are going have to change 100% if you want me back. The food isn't any different than its previous place, Parker Pub. The Parker Pub servers were hit or miss in their attitude. But even the most stand-offish Parker Pub server you could rely on getting your food and the right order. I had ordered some fries. Two female bar servers fought with each other in front of me to the point, that I thought it was going to turn physical. This went on during my stay, but in addition, I received a basket of cold fries. One of the servers thought this was my order. What it was a bunch of cold fries that nobody claimed. The real order came a few minutes later and now I have a bunch of warm fries, but I am halfway through the cold fries. I try to tell the bartender I place the order about the cold fries, but he just ignored what I say and told me to eat up. When I left, I tried to tell him about the lady servers who yelling at each other. I mean, not only should that be not going in public, but these two women any minute were start to come to blows. Again, he acted as if he didn't really care. The food and the beer may be good. But I am sorry you do not have lady bartenders fight in front of the patrons, you do not serve a customer cold fries just because it is lying around and above all, I don't know what the other bartender is thinking, these are serious matters and if you want me to take the place serious, take me seriously as a customer and pay attention to what I am saying.

Run, don't walk and order the Special Peanut wings. (I think they're cooked in peanut oil). Brilliant. The service was impeccable as the pub was stuffed but the bartender/barmaid checked on us frequently to make sure we were satisfied, filled glasses and was super friendly. Great local spot.

Good bar, nice atmosphere. The food is good, nothing to get too excited about. The Parker Fries are basically Chicky and Pete 's style crab fries. As a foodie, it's nothing special, just good standard pub food. The beer selection is satisfactory, some good craft beers. The prices are fair and the drink specials are top notch. The service can be a bit dodgy sometimes. It depends on the crowd and if any of the bartender's friends are there. Overall, it's a nice place to grab a few drinks and enjoy some decent food.
