Diabetics at Jamba Juice:
Eating good food at the right time can control your blood sugar, also stop you from craving wrong sort of food. Jamba Juice offers drinks in three separate sizes: 16, 24, and 32-ounce. You can choose the lowest serving size and cut down on sugars and calorie intake. If you're diabetic and concerned about the sugar intake, then you can opt for the smaller 9.5-ounce smoothies available for kids at Jamba Juice.
Foods to Avoid at Jamba Juice for Diabetics:
Jamba Juice is primarily known for its highly satisfying and nutritive smoothies and juices. Almost every smoothie and juice item on the Jamba Juice menu contains sugar. Diabetics are recommended to opt for smaller serving size while ordering at Jamba Juice. Also, avoid opting for creamy treats as all the smoothies offered in this category contain a load of sugars.
Keep the sugar content below 50g per meal at Jamba Juice and ensure that you don't follow it with a heavy meal. A small size regular smoothie is equivalent to a meal for everyone. Classic smoothies at Jamba Juice are also heavily loaded with sugars. Stay away from that section if you are a diabetic.

Love! This place is so cozy and charming, especially since it dates back to 1740. There are two menus. One is typical bar fare, and the other is more elevated. Both menus have very tasty dishes. I had a bay scallop appetizer special that had lovely greens and a yummy sweet bacon jam. A great start! Husband had an unassuming bowl of white bean and turkey chili that tasted like a delicious Thanksgiving dinner thanks to an added cranberry chutney. I had the veal chop, which looked like it came from a cow crossbred with a dinosaur. The thing was huge, but more importantly, properly cooked, sauced and well-rested. No surprises but I was very pleased with proper cooking and seasoning. Husband had braised lamb shanks with a bit of a dry decorative schmear, but yummy nonetheless. The risotto is not a traditional Italian risotto, but it tasted good enough for sustenance. Generous pours of liquor at this place. Wonderful, friendly staff. I've been back already. One of my favorites now!

Went here for Valentine's Day. Service was a bit slow but food and drinks great. I do t he stars against service on holidays. Husband got steak, me chicken/crab meat dish. Dessert was choc peanut butter bomb

From the reviews, I expected amazing things while dining here. I will admit - their bacon & mascarpone dip is quite tasty, and they serve a perfect crème brulee, but everything else I have had here in between those two was just OK. It is quite expensive, there seemed to be cilantro and arugula on every dish they make, and my whole family was a bit disappointed. Go for appetizers and dessert, is my take.
(3)Sara W.
I go here often with my family. Never disappointed and I invariably run into someone I know. Like Cheers, only elegant and with better food and beer.

I so wish that this this restaurant was closer to me. My BF and I were in this local for business and got lucky finding this place on yelp. We had a salad and a Reuben. Both were excellent. Service and decor were also above average. Looking forward to to going back.
(5)Outlaw M.
Fantastic place. Not crowded by the manangements design and food was amazing. From the homemade salad dressing to the homemade desert. Our steaks were prepared perfectly and melted in our mouths. We loved the wine selection and unique vintage cocktail selection. And priced very well for what you get.
(5)J G.
Atmosphere is very nice. Service is good. Menu has all of the right ingredients, but there is just something missing. The food is just ok.

Last night we had the perfect meal. It couldn't have been better. We chose to sit outside for the first time and the patio was very comfortable. The tables are spaced nicely so you aren't too close to the next table. From the opening cocktail, a well-mixed Bellini martini, to the fresh salad to my entrée of a lamb shank, swiss chard and an interesting rice pilaf, everything was delicious. My husband enjoyed his huge pub-fare turkey club and sweet-potato fries just as much. Even the coffee was delicious. As another reviewer said, for this quality and service, the prices are quite reasonable. We will be back frequently!

friends suggested we try this place out and we live so close and never knew it was there. Def a hidden gem of Quakertown! The manager, Chris, is just excellent. We went on a Thursday night, around 5:30, place was empty, but by 6:30 it was FULL! Cars in the parking lot: Mercedez, Lexuz, BMW's... tells the caliber of the folks dining here and to me, goes hand in hand of the quality of the food. It's definetly a place for "foodies"! they are in an restored farm house and by design they have kept the place updated to look old. tables and place setings are beautifully simple! such character. We are having my sisters baby shower there in August, so i cant wait to see how they do with a 35person event. Which by the way, we have the whole restaurant for!

We gathered at this Restaurant to celebrate the holidays with some coworkers. I felt that they couldn't have picked a more perfect venue. We had a small corner of the restaurant to ourselves. Servers took very good care of us. The food was amazing the portion size was perfect. Peppercorn ranch dressing was new to me and oh so tasty. I tried the creamy chicken pesto with asparagus and sundried tomatoes, what a perfect combination. I would love to go back and try more of the options that they offer.
(4)Joe G.
Great little find. Beer list is good, and the food is great. I had the scallops, and wife had the chicken pesto, and both were incredible. New favorite place.
(4)Michael H.
Great find. Coming from Philly most options in this neck of the woods come up lacking. But this place has really good food, really good beer selection, comfortable ambiance, the works. Highly recommended.

We were in the area for an event and were looking for a place to meet up with friends for lunch. Jamison Publik House was close by, and once we looked at their menu and beer list online, we knew we had to try it What an awesome meal. From the second we walked in the staff was friendly and attentive. The place is very nice on the inside, not cluttered but tasteful and comfortable. The food was all cooked perfectly and was beyond delicious. The beer selection was obviously put together with a lot of thought and had something for everyone. We were able to just hang out and relax, and were not rushed at all. Could not have been more impressed with the entire experience One of the members of our group just texted and said "I wish we could find a place just like Jamison near home!" Me too!
(5)Chris H.
This place has impressed me in my recent couple of visits. While driving by it at lunchtime, I decided to pull in and see what they did for lunch. Sat at the bar with the very personable bartender who provided fine service and poured a pint of Guinness the right way. He mentioned that a special of the day was a smoked pork sandwich... which was fantastic... smoky hunks of pork in a very good roll, accompanied by delicious home-made potato chips with a great spicy salt seasoning. The great lunch inspired me to come back for dinner, which was also cooked to a high standard. The interior refurbishment of the old building is also very well done and beautiful- stripped down to the stones and rough hewn beams, and the tables and chairs are very comfortable and of superior craftsmanship.
(4)Bobbie Sue T.
Love this place! One of my all time favorites! My definite go to when it comes to meeting up with friends or an intimate night out. I have suggested this place to several others who in turn end up loving it! Keep up the great work guys!!!
(5)Kiddo S.
I have been here several times, sometimes with friends, sometimes with my family. Recently I went with my family and we were quite disappointed. My husband ordered the steak special, I had the eggplant parmesian. Let me tell you...for the price - this food was mediocre at best! My husbands steak was unimpressive with a great deal of fat on it. He was very upset that he was charged $30 for sub-par steak. I have had much better eggplant paremesian at the local Italian restaurants in town. I do have to say that the desserts are always delicious and I enjoyed my salad. However, I do not think we will go back anytime soon. The food is overpriced for the quality. It's just that there are no good places to eat in our area so people cling to any decent food they can find. Unfortunately, I do not find the quality of food or customer service to be consistent here and I can't justify spending the money. We also waited a very long time for our meals. I do wish Jamison would offer more reasonable pricing on their food.
(3)Patty J.
Is there a new chef? Our meals were disappointing. Typically we love the food here.
(3)Greg F.
Excellent evening. The place is really out in the middle of nowhere. Oh...make sure you get a reservation. They filled up pretty quickly on our Friday night visit. We had the Fried Chicken Lettuce Wraps for appetizers, they were great - especially the lime zest sauce that went with. I had the burger and my wife had a turkey club. You could really tell the difference in the ingredients they use (the menu claims they're part of the PA Buy Fresh Buy Local program). Finished with a Gingerbread Jar Cake. It had locally sourced vanilla ice cream and apple chunks mixed in with warm gingerbread and whipped cream. Was pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed it (neither of us would typically choose that). Will definitely find a reason to go back.
(5)Patty I.
Old world charm and very tastefully decorated. It is very popular so a reservation is a must. They have a large menu selection which is great. Michael is our favorite waiter and very attentive to our every needs. The food is always delicious and we recommend Jamison Publick House to all of our friends.
(5)B P.
One of the best independent places in the area. The menu is always different and the food is great. In a time where everything has gone to the chain restaurant, it's always great to have a go to restaurant where you know each dining experience will be 5 star. I definitely recommend Jamison Publick House to anyone looking for a great dining and food experience.
(5)L. J.
hidden gem! the interior décor is really cool. they have a basic pub grub menu and a menu of good entrees. everything looked and tasted good. service was positive, good portions and prices. can't go wrong here.
(4)Bret C.
Two of us returned here on a Thursday for a birthday dinner. Surprisingly, for an establishment of this caliber, they didn't appear very busy. But we chose to be indoors so there may have been several more guests on the patio. No matter, our experience was delightful! We were warmly greeted and seated by a window at a candle lit table. Our server promptly arrived to take our drink orders and deliver menus. She was professional yet friendly and efficient throughout our visit. Our drinks were perfectly prepared and simply presented. Because this was a special occassion we were considering purchasing a bottle of wine. Oddly, we thought, the wine list only offered some very nice choices, but only by the glass. We didn't bother to ask about a bottle. The Prince Edward Island mussels were superb, creamy and grit free accompanied by a sauce chock full of tasty ingredients. The 1/2 plate Caesar salad was more than ample and delicious. The bass entree was fresh, moist and done perfectly, but didn't have much flavor (farm raised perhaps?). Do not miss the shrimp pesto pasta. The portion was generous with plenty of toothsome items in a silky cream sauce. The atmosphere here is enchanting, warm and welcoming.
(4)Marilyn A.
This is the only restaurant I seek out when visiting this part of PA. Everything is always cooked perfectly. Even with a group of 6, there is something on the menu to please everyone. The staff is friendly and attentive without going overboard. While I wouldn't say this is a great place for kids, they were kind enough to make a grilled cheese sandwich for my picky niece. The building and interior is lovely and one of my main reasons for coming here. It's a restored/renovated building and I think they did a great job.
(5)Sid E.
I cannot say anything negative about Jamison Publick House, even though my kids sometime accuse me of being a negative curmudgeon when it comes to my Yelp reviews. The place is wonderful: quaint, cozy, comfortable and stylish. They have real candles on the tables and in the windows - none of the fake battery operated candles from China. The beer menu has lots of local drafts - the one I chose, based on Heather's recommedation was perfect. Actually, I relied on Heather to choose my meal. The short ribs were out of this world. Even though the portion was large, the flavor was so good, the meat was so tender, the sauce, the pasta, wow - it was all so good, I wanted to lick the plate (but because it is a classy place, I showed self-restraint). JPH is a bit off the beaten track, but I strongly suggest that you beat a path to its door. You will not be disappointed.
(5)Kerry L.
I'm actually thinking it's more like 2.5 star experience, but went with 3 because other visits while sitting at the bar have been better. We came to Jamison's for an early Mother's Day dinner with my in-laws. My husband and I have been there a few times before, but we never got a table, we always sat at the bar. The ascetics are cozy and quaint, farm house-esque. They have a few tables outside under pergola and with some water features, looks great for the warmer days. They were somewhat busy, not packed, but our waitress was MIA for the majority of the 3 hours we ended up spending with them. We started with cocktails and everyone liked their drinks. For an appetizer I started with the waffles and lobster. The lobster was heavily breaded, fried and unfortunately flavorless. :( my husband had the fried oysters, he said they were just okay. The dinner salads arrived about 30 minutes later and oddly they had just about a half a teaspoon of dressing on the salad. None of us like an over dressed salad, but we actually thought they forgot the dressing. We couldn't find the waitress to ask for more so we all ate the extremely dry salad. I guess they figure it's healthier? For an entrée I had the scallops on long grain rice and roasted brussel sprouts. The scallops were small but prepared perfectly. Unfortunately the rice was extremely dry and they appeared to have cut up one brussel sprout and roasted it to its death. It was a very strange dish...couldn't spare a few sprouts? My husband and his Mother both had the fish special with a pineapple salsa. They had the same complaint about the rice, theirs was white rice-very dry. My father-in-law had the steak special (NY strip) that he very much enjoyed. The total came to $230. I do wish I enjoyed my meal more, like I said, we have had better experiences sitting at the bar.
(3)Chrissy M.
My favorite dishes here are the sea bass and the spinach salad. There are so many other great entrées to choose from and it's consistently spectacular every time we visit. I definitely recommend giving this place a try.
(5)Heather D.
The food was outstanding; detail oriented dishes that have been perfected! The atmosphere was very cozy and enjoyable and the service put the cherry on top, Garry was our server today and was great! We will be back for more.
(5)Philly S.
Perfect medium rare rib eye, good zinfandel, and of course the warm gingerbread/ice cream jar cake. Very cozy atmosphere. Great service. Expect to spend some time for dinner. Part of the quality is that they do not rush.
(5)Steph K.
Love this place! Food is amazing and the atmosphere is nice. Also very great staff.
(5)Brad K.
My wife and I's favorite restaurant in the area. Great food and friendly wait staff. The pub fare selection is a nice touch. Good selection of craft beer and wine. Very home style farmhouse feel to the place. For the quality of the food the price is very reasonable.
(5)Lynn G.
Started this review on my Yelp mobile app, like, a year (more?) ago...but finishing now. What a hidden awesome place. Found it through yelp when doing an odd errand in the unfamiliar area. Such a pretty place. Can't remember what I ate though I gave it 5 stars that day, with the reminder to review on my app. I do remember being impressed with the menu, having fine service and couldn't have been a bad meal since I'd remember that. Since I'm a pretty good cook, my main goal when eating out is atmosphere and service - and at least above-average food, and not too weird like too many New American restaurants try to do for snobbish impressions. So glad I was just looking around at my Yelp account, I had forgotten about this place! Will go back. :)
(5)Matt L.
My wife and I stopped in for dinner on Saturday. The building is well maintained, and the interior is absolutely beautiful. The food and service was outstanding. My wife and I started with the marscapone-bacon-arugula dip which was fantastic. We had a salad (wherein all the dressings are made in house) which consisted of spring mix, and some excellent and fresh vegetables. For our entree I had the lobster potpie, and she had the trout. My wife (who is incredibly picky about fish) said it was perfectly cooked. The lobster potpie was amazing, well balanced, and loaded with lobster. We decided to splurge and have desert: The special for the night was Guinness Chocolate Cake, and it was AMAZING. She got the banana bread pudding, which was really really great as well. Overall the experience was outstanding. After everything (and a glass of wine for her) the bill came to a little over $70, which was well spent for an outstanding dinner. There is also a full menu of pub food, which looked equally delicious as they were brought out of the kitchen. We will definitely be going back here, as the combination of service and food really impressed and made this a great place.
(5)Kirsten A.
This place just gets better and better. My edit is that the Duck Breast is no longer on the menu. I loved it but a smart move on their part. That is just a difficult dish to cook to the "likeness" of everyone. However, a new favorite is the Pork Chop. Outstanding! Juicy with just the right combination of seasonings! You must try it! Steve Yeager (the chef) is a genius. Always has just the right balance of flavors to bring out the full potential of the dish.
(5)John F.
Great food and atmosphere. I had the lobster pot pie which was fantastic. The majority of the filling was lobster meat. I will go back again. Check out the menu on their website. Not too awfully far from the Promenade Shops in Saucon Valley.
(5)Mary T.
Great food, awesome service. Don't have a single bad thing to say. I had the classic angus burger with fries and the peanut butter chocolate dessert. Everything was excellent. BF had the onion ring appetizer - big fat onions inside, very good! And the eggplant parm entree. Ice cream with chocolate ganache for dessert. He was pleased with everything. He also had a long island iced tea which was as good as you would make for yourself - generously served in a pint glass. Pub fare is pretty inexpensive ($9.50 for a burger with fries which isn't much more than fast food!!). Entrees are a bit more pricey - in the $20 to $30 range, but well worth it. Desserts are made in house and it shows, love a restaurant that takes the time to make good dessert! A great place to go out regularly (stick to the sandwiches) OR have a nice meal out (go for apps, entrees and dessert). Service was very attentive and personal. Beautiful atmosphere and furniture.

The outside patio was really nice, which is why I have given this restaurant 2 stars. Atmosphere was nice, but overall I thought the food was really overpriced 'bar' food. I will not need to ever go back again.
