Every Memorial Weekend, it's tradition my family goes to Aj's before the madness of our Memorial party the following day. We love it! The food is outstanding and the beer selection is fantastic! I highly, highly recommend the cheese steak pot stickers. They will blow your mind. Everything else on the menu is so good, it's hard to pick what to order. I went with the seared Ahi Tuna-amazing. They always have great seasonal beers on tap and will gladly give you a little sample to try something new. The guys that work there are a trip! They will make you laugh and may bust ya a little. They're always on top of service and just make the experience at Aj's that much more exciting. I don't get back home too often, but when I do, I look forward to the night out at Aj's! Cheers! :) :)

Been here a few times and always had a good time. Atmosphere is laid back, service is fun and friendly but food is sometimes slow so be prepared to drink or wait. Turkey pot pie was yummy.

Great food and a new BBQ menu recently too - get the ribs. I also love the tuna dishes, pizza, and their ever-changing craft draft beer selection.

I've been told all the food is fantastic. I wouldn't know. Every time I go I get the same thing because it's AMAZING! The brisket is to die for. The atmosphere is great too. My kids had a blast talking to the owner. It was like we were part of his family. Definitely the place to go!

Great neighborhood bar. Fantastic beer selection (try the banana bread porter), above average bar food (delicious sweet potatoes fries) and an attentive staff.

It's a decent bar with decent food. Nice place to go to drink or have dinner. Not overpriced. Only real draw back is parking sucks.

We had never been to Aj's before but we have probably driven by it a thousand times. A friend of ours suggested it to us when we asked where we should go for dinner that had some decent food and with healthy options. We were really surprised at the cool decor and vibe this place had, and the food was really good. I had baked haddock with broccoli and potatoes, and a salad and my husband had ribs and chicken with sweet potato fries. I do not eat gluten and they were very accommodating. AJ, the owner actually came up to us sat down at the table with us and got to know us, told us a little about the history of the place, and it was just really nice. The whole staff worked together, everyone was friendly and the drinks were great! It is definitely worth a try! And I am picky! Really decent, delicious food.

A.J.'s is excellent. They always have great beers on tap and an awesome menu. They serve pizza, sandwiches, and then various entrees. The staff is excellent, friendly, and knowledgeable. This is a local gem.

MY FAVORITE BAR EVER!!!!! The first time I went to AJ's was about four years ago. Found it by accident driving around Pecksville. Having not being from PA I really had no idea what I was in for. W walked in and fell in love with the atmosphere, tv's everywhere, pictures and local news articles covering the walls. Aj greeted us and took notice that we were not local but made my wife and I feel at home. We were hungry so he handed me the most amazing menu I have ever seen in a bar! It had everything from oysters to onion rings. Steak dinners to salad. I just didn't expect to eat like that. We ordered wings, crab cakes, and a chicken sandwich, EVERYTHING was so fantastic!!!!!! The beer selection was made up of a lot of local brews I just don't have in California. Aj listened to what we like and made the perfect suggestions! I only visit PA around twice a year but I always stop in as many times I can. Each visit Aj has remembered us and spends a lot of care making me feel at home! I highly recommend this place not only for the cool bar atmosphere but for a kick ass dinner as well!

Very good local restaurant. The food is good and they have quite a good beer selection (as well as a decent list of Martinis). Tuesday night has a trivia night/open-mic night which is fun as well.

The Best Burgers. Great place to cut back and enjoy great food. Want something your way, just ask.

Not really one of my favorite places. Food is overpriced and most of it isn't that good. Snobby crowd that really thinks they poop ice cream. If your an outsider you will certainly be treated like one here. Bright spots are beer selection and good bartenders ( Mike, and Bubba).

The beer prices are way overpriced and need to be lowered. The service at times is subpar and all the waiters are guys....wish there were a few nice women around, Closest thing to a gay bar you'll find. overall the food is generally good, but again the portions aren't particularly big. The beer tap lines are foul and my beer tasted like sewage, they needed cleaning. The owner is always there standing at the bar hawking your every move which at times makes you feel uncomfortable. It's a nice local place but they close at weird hours. Bunch of us tried going there one Saturday around midnight and they were closed??? Give it a shot and judge for yourself.

I think Josh W is crazy. I'm not sure if he was somewhere else, but his review is completely off base. If you're thinking it's a place with old men sitting around stinking, you've got the wrong idea. It's a place where a lot of young and older professionals hang out in a relaxed area. Clearly Josh W has no sense-ordering a Coors Light, AJ's Club Soda employs a Beer Somilier and has a beer menu with descriptions of the beers. AJs carries all sorts of fantastic beers, Delirium, Stone, Dogfish, etc. If you pass by those beers for a Coor's Light, you've clearly got some problems. Also, our friend Josh must be delusional, as there is no outdoor seating at AJs. Finally, I would not describe the food as "typical bar food", there is always delicious food there-I'm vegetarian and can always find something good. The pizza (homemade), pierogies (locally made) and greek wraps are family favorites. Josh, AJs hasn't been in business for 30 years, and you must have been on something when you were there-if you were there at all. Go to AJs and decide for yourself. The only bad things I can say is that parking can be tricky and the bathroom gets a little stinky sometimes, but I think both are due to the large crowds that are usually there.

When I drove up to the location I thought I had arrived at someone's home. Upon entering you get the same kinda of service, down home. It's kind of a dive place but that's part of the charm and the prices on booze can't be beat. The bartender Bubba really hooks it up with his fast service and witty banter.

Well, where to start with this place. I ended up at this place because I am traveling for client work to Moosic, PA. I generally try to find a non-chain restaurant to eat at and I ended up here. The bar is a total townie bar, the bartender and all the patrons know one another and it seems they go back 30+ years with one another. The beer is cheap ($2.00 for a Coors Light Draft) and the food is typical bar food. The chili on the nachos I ordered was nostalgic, tasted just like the kind from the high school cafeteria. The buffalo chicken salad was iceberg lettuce, some diced celery and a chicken breast with some sort of bbq-like sauce drenched on top of it. Go here for the cheap beer, maybe the nachos if you need your system cleaned and the TVs to catch some sports.
