Good food, small place. Nothing amazing but worth another visit.

Bland food. Inexperienced and/or inattentive waitstaff. Really, don't bother. We started with the edamame (unsalted) and the vegetable gyoza. The gyoza was exactly what I would expect from a take out Chinese restaurant - chewy with little filling. The ginger dressing on the salad was fine, but why, why, why are the vegetables in these salads always sad? If you don't want to pony up for the good vegetables, then don't serve salad! No one is coming to a sushi restaurant for salad but serving stuff past its prime does not reflect well on the kitchen. The miso soup was perfectly adequate. And from what I understand, the tempura shrimp that accompanied my husband's noodle bowl and the chicken in my nephew's chicken fried rice were good. And that's the best I can say about this place. While my husband's dish was unremarkable; it was at least palatable. My "spicy garlic tofu", on the other hand, was neither spicy nor did appear to have - or taste of - garlic. Garlic did not even sit at the same counter as my tofu. The sauce was otherwise tasteless and oily. If you don't mind the drive go to Handy Nasty. If you don't want to travel that far, go to Wabi Sabi, which is marginally better.

My go-to sushi place was closed yesterday, presumably due to area power outages, so I yelped and found this place open and nearby. I'm surprised by how positive the reviews are. Maybe I went on a really off night, but my experience was bad. Started off with the spicy rock shrimp. It was just okay. The pieces were too large, over-breaded and I didn't particularly care for the spicy sauce, which was too mayonnaise-y and not very spicy. Next I had some kumomoto oysters. The only highlight of the meal. They were fresh and nicely flavored, slightly metallic, with a light fresh mignonette sauce to compliment them. The sushi was the major downfall. Let me state that I love sushi and at first sight, I was excited because the sushi looked good, so I ordered some sashimi (which I really only ever do if the sushi at the sushi bar looks extremely fresh). It came out looking good. I got a kampachi sashimi order and blah. It was dry, and sliced way too thick to be enjoyable. The unagi I had was fresh and warm and the rice was decent, though slightly mushy. I had escolar sashimi, which was fresh, but again sliced too thick to be enjoyable. The biggest disappointment was the main line roll. The spicy tuna in the center wasn't even spicy and the tuna tasted like it was on the verge of going bad. The flavors weren't appealing. Again, maybe I went on an off night, but this place certainly did not deserve 4+ stars based on the food I had last night. I will not be back.

A real terrific sushi experience. Great original rolls (didn't know it was possible to have new and different rolls that aren't gimmicks). Chef's choice sushi/sashimi has great selections. Specialty appetizers really standout.

FYI - I recently had a negative experience here with something small, but it really put me off. I've come here several times before for lunch and have paid with credit card and cash. Anytime I pay with credit card for their $8.95 lunch special, they always inform me of their $10 cc minimum which is actually not possible since it's against merchant agreements with cc companies to enforce one. Most recently, I ordered this lunch special with rolls I've ordered before and noticed they magically charged me $10.02!!! I asked about it and they said it's because I ordered a salmon + avocado + CUCUMBER roll. The extra up charge was for CUCUMBER!!! Ha, that vegetable that is super cheap and cheaper than both salmon and avocado. Now, $0.50 is no big deal, but on principle that they would do this nickel & dime business IS. It is a dishonest practice if a business accepts credit cards and can accept it for some, but not all transactions, and jack up a price for a regular when it doesn't meet the business's contracted rates with credit card company. I sadly will find another sushi place for my lunch runs and will divert any business I would have brought elsewhere!!

Great spot right in the heart of Paoli. I've eaten here twice. The first time was a takeout order and the second was eat-in on a Saturday night. The place is always buzzing with people but don't let that hold you up from going. Ordering online was quick and easy and it was ready at the exact time I specified. The sushi was delicious. During my pickup stop I noticed that the place is a BYOB. I made the most of this option when I visited this past Saturday night. We had the pork & wasabi dumpling appetizer (fantastic) along with the BBQ baby octopus. I would definitely order both again. The sushi options are plentiful and varied. The rice is cooked just right that it holds together but melts away in your mouth. I'll definitely be coming back. On another note, does anyone know what happened to the sushi place in Wayne that was located by the farmers market?

I've eaten here several times and love the place. Part because I live across the street but they make really great affordable sushi. It is byo if your into that as well. I love sitting at the sushit bar and ordering more sushi than one man should. In short good atmosphere good sushi good price! Also there is parking around back.

Woohoo! Sushi Nami is our new go-to sushi place. Service - During lunch it can be average. Sometimes there is only one server who has the whole dining room, so attention for water refills and plate clearing is not always prompt. We have experienced better service at dinner, most notably on our last visit. There was a new server, an American woman with light brown hair, who was lovely. She was very attentive and did a great job. K.O.P. Roll (Lobster Salad, Crunch, Tuna, Avocado, Mango, and Tobiko; Wrapped in Soy Paper) - 5 out of 5 This is my standby roll. The play of sweet and savory work really well here. (See picture above.) Spicy, Crunchy Yellowtail Roll - 5 out of 5 Amazeballs. All three of us at dinner agreed that it was our favorite roll of the evening. There was so much fish and the flavor was perfect. Sushi Pizza (Scallion Pancake topped with Spicy Tuna, Seaweed Salad, Spicy Mayonnaise, Scallions, and Roe) - 5 out of 5 Readers, do not be perturbed by the "scallion pancake" - it is a savory, doughy disk that is the platform for a delicious combination of the best ingredients one could hope for in a roll. (See picture above.) It is great for sharing. Dragon Eggs (Spicy, Crunchy Tuna wrapped inside thinly-sliced Avocado slices and garnished with Eel Sauce) - 3 out of 5 A few simple tweaks on this dish could elevate it from good to great. The tuna inside could have used more spicy mayo and a little bit more crunch. The textures of the whole dish are soft and mushy, so the added crunch would give it a nice "!!!". Also, the sweet eel sauce at the bottom of the plate is delicious. More, please! Spicy Yellowtail Jalapeño (Sliced Yellowtail Sashimi in a Yuzu sauce with Sliced Jalapeños) - 3 out of 5 The Yuzu dressing and the jalapeño were a little too mild. Sashimi and Sushi - No rating My boyfriend orders eel sushi, yellowtail sashimi, and salmon sashimi every time.

Yumi (Server/hostess) is a doll and always treats us so well whether I come alone for lunch or with a friend or my 10 year old (who, incidentally, loves it here). Today I tried the Pork Dumpling soup and was so pleasantly surprised by how wonderful it was. 3 gyoza (likely frozen - but so tasty) and a savory broth - but best of all? Chock full of veggies - napa Cabbage, Carrots, Shredded Snow Peas (so sweet) and Mushroom slivers. I LOVED IT. The $13.95 Chirashi lunch is a steal - a la cart there is a good $20 worth of tuna, salmon, yellowtail, fluke (or some other white fish) and snapper on the plate. No 5th star? Frozen tamago. How I long for good home-made tamago! Meanwhile, I enjoy the food here very much - and now they know me!

The fiancee and I have been to Sushi Nami a few times, and it's always impressive. It's never very busy, but the food is great, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and the prices are reasonable. Also, it's BYOB, so bring a bottle and enjoy! Pro tip: there's parking directly behind the restaurant, which you may not realize driving by.

This is my go to sushi place when I am home at my parents!! Everyone who works here is so friendly and the service is always great!! I love their tuna martini (basically raw tuna, avocado, nuts and yummy sauce), all of their rolls are pretty good especially their tuna lovers and of course their udon is so fresh and yummy! The prices are pretty reasonable and everything is always fresh tasting!!

Excellent local sushi restaurant. Their specialty rolls and appetizers are particularly good. The fish is fresh & tasty. Lack of a liquor license hurts, as a selection of fine sake always completes a sushi meal for me.

Food was cold and took forever. Asked for vegetable roll and instead got California roll even after explaining allergy. Service was horrendous. Was served a broken glass, had to ask for straws and chop sticks, waitress never came back to check on us. We waited for waitress to take the check but she never came back so we needed up walking up to the front and waiting 20 minutes for them to figure out how to ring us up. Then we were given the wrong change and had to explain how to subtract.

Nice find in Paoli. The Godzilla roll is my favorite and is a great spot to quickly pickup some made to order sushi. Parking in the rear is available, and is easily accessible from Lancaster Ave.

Finally decided to come check this great little sushi place out after hearing so much about them. I guess I must have had huge expectations because I thought it was just okay. Nothing really to write home about but enjoyable. I had the main line roll and a few others but the main line was my favorite. It had the right amount of sauce and wasn't too overbearing. The wait staff was friendly and informative and everyone seemed to be enjoying. I've had better but I wouldn't say that it wasn't good. Enjoyable experience.

Everything has been so amazing here recently!! I'm so glad they figured the rice a seaweed. Yay!!

The food was amazing, the quality of the fish was fresh and on point. I recommend the gyoza, yellowtail and jalapeño and the dinosaur egg which was a 10! It is also BYO which is always nice.

The tuna tartare was DELICIOUS. I ordered and paid online for take-out, which was easy and convenient.

This is really more of a 3 1/2 star review, but I do really love this restaurant. I've only ever ordered delivery, and it's always fast (sometimes shockingly fast! Once it came in 15 minutes). The problem is it's inconsistent. They must have a few different chefs, because sometimes the food is phenomenal (5 stars without a doubt) and other times it's completely mediocre. For example, the first few times I ordered the Haru Maki (Japanese egg rolls), they were thin and small and really delicious. The last time I ordered them they were HUGE, soggy, and bland - a completely different product. The avocado salad really varies as well - sometimes it's finely chopped lettuce and very thinly sliced avocado (nice!) and sometimes it's enormous, unchopped leaves of iceberg lettuce and sloppy chunks of avocado (not so nice). The sushi is generally solid, but I've found that when the egg rolls/salad are bad, the quality of the sushi isn't as good either. Maybe it also depends on the time of day you order - I believe all my bad orders came on weekdays at lunchtime, so maybe they have a different chef or just aren't as concerned about quality when it isn't the weekend. Anyway, when this place is good, it's amazing. I will say that I've ordered the spicy yellowtail roll and shrimp shumai every time and they're ALWAYS good, so when in doubt, stick with those two!

Went here for dinner last night at the recommendation of a friend. After seeing the rave reviews here, I must admit to being surprised. I don't know if it was an "off night" or if they had a new and inexperienced sushi chef on board, but we did not have a good experience at all. The fish in our sushi rolls was poorly cut and the rolls were so loosely wrapped they were practically falling apart on the plate. I could look beyond the lack of visual appeal to a certain extent if the rolls themselves weren't so bland and uninspired. My tuna lovers roll advertised peppered tuna and jalapeño, yet it took the addition of wasabi to add even a modicum of heat. Although the service was fast and friendly, the overall experience was disappointing and I won't be a return customer.

Wow. That's all I can say. No, let me explain........... You would probably pass by this place a hundred times & never think to look inside. The space they occupy is a corner of a building with a Starbucks on the other end, at the edge of a parking lot to the Paoli train station. Ho Hum, another boring suburban sushi place, right? Wrong!! Inside, it looks like one of the fancy Center City sushi places, very nice decor, very clean. Not exactly a lot of space, and can see it getting filled up quickly if too many people come in at once. The fish & rolls were very very fresh, tasty. Presentation is excellent. Service is quick (of course, if there's a lot of people it would slow down a bit) Prices reasonable for what you get.

It's been a while, perhaps even a year now since sushi Nami opened. We have become the "best customers" as per the owners, but there is a reason. Consistently well prepared, fresh and creative food. The service is good and if you are looking for a great Japanese meal (cooked or raw), stop in to check them out.

I gave this place a shot for lunch a few days ago, and left pleasantly surprised. Three rolls with Miso soup and salad for $11.95 is one of the better deals around. I went with the Spicy Crab, the Spicy Tuna, and the Philly Rolls. Nothing was too spicy. In fact, I think it could have used slightly more spice. But everything I had was fresh and well made. I went basic on this trip and had no complaints. They will be in my rotation when I'm in the mood for sushi.

We've been to this place a couple times. It's the best BYO sushi place we have found in the area. They have adequate parking in back which is a bonus for us since we typically go into West Chester Boro for dinner. I've only ever had sushi there, but it gets two thumbs up. Definitely get the fried ice cream for dessert!

Genuinely impressed with this place. Went in on a whim, and was thoroughly impressed with the selection. They actually had a couple special japanese fish available for sushi that night, which was a nice change from the usual offerings from other places. Will revise ranking after a few more visits.

I dropped by Sushi Nami a bit back with two other friends with only around half an hour before closing, but we were luckily served anyway! Walking inside from the traditional-looking main street of Paoli is like going through a time machine; the restaurant has some very modern decor and the blue lights by the sushi bar create an exotic and somewhat fancy atmosphere. I got one of their sushi/sashimi combos, which came with a generous assortment of their available seafood for about $30, if I remember correctly - the average person need only choose a few of their most preferred fishes a la carte for cheaper, but the pig in me couldn't resist trying out as much as possible. Too bad it didn't come with chutoro/otoro. That being said, the sushi and sashimi came out great! The fish was fresh and had the right texture (no sliminess!) and thickness to balance out with the rice, which was soft and of good proportional size. The fish could have been cut a bit shorter to have a more snug fit on the rice, but I don't mind having a bit extra of the good part! The accompanying miso soup and salad were also good, but nothing special. My friends all reported positively on their dishes as well. Service was great despite eating past close - our waiter made sure we didn't have to call him over for water refills or extra orders. However, he hovered over us as we wrote our tips down, which is an odd, yet very strong pet peeve of mine as it gives me the impression that he's trying to see how much we tip as we decide. Perhaps to others, this isn't a big issue, but it definitely made me uncomfortable. Overall, I'm glad I don't need to hop on an hour long train ride down into Center City for some sushi - while Sushi Nami doesn't blow me away, it definitely ranks above-average over those shady places that market California rolls as "authentic Japanese sushi" and is officially my new local go-to sushi restaurant.

Crunchy tempura, fresh fish, creative rolls, generous sashimi pieces, rice and overall ingredients are fresh, A+ on consistent. Wasabi is not the real deal but does the trick. Have visited 10+ times and never fails, takeout is accurate and convenient. good location, service, nicely decorated place and offers parking in the back. Only issue is that they do not deliver to my area, otherwise I would try them more often. I say is among the top 3 in the Paoli, Malvern and West Chester area. If you want better go to the city and pay more ;-)

Best sushi I've had since moving to Philadelphia 2 years ago. I used to work at a Sushi restaurant back home and I've been disappointed with every place I've been to since moving to Philadelphia. In my opinion a dead giveaway of bad sushi is when you see a ton of rice in the maki rolls so I was refreshed to see a faint layer of rice and mostly fish in their maki. Good sign! It got even better once I tasted the fish. I won't say the fish is the best, most fresh tasting fish I've ever had but compared to others in the area, this place is a 5/5. My advice, order the spicy crab maki. One of the best rolls I've ever had. Enjoy!

Best sushi on the Main Line! My coworkers and I go here at least once a week for their STELLAR lunch specials. I could not love this place any more. The staff has gotten to know our group, and has all of our orders and drinks memorized. Fantastic service and a quick lunch at a perfect price. Love!

Really good sushi place - probably the best, authentic sushi joint in the area. Great lunch specials and BYO for dinner. If you can't make it downtown for sushi, this is your best alternative.

1) We went on a Saturday night (8:00 pm) and there was no wait. I think we caught the tail end of the crowd because the small parking lot was pretty packed when we got there. The quality of the fish-- good/very good. We had the inari, tuna, and Philadelphia roll. All tasty, pretty much the best part of the meal 2) Tea was great-brown rice green tea. Since the tea and the sushi were the first two things we had I was very hopeful. 3) The prices are a little high. A dinner for three was $76, Thank goodness for the $10 off $50 mailer coupon. The charged 1.95! for tea, but Japanese food without tea is just not acceptable. 4) The udon was not to my liking. Although I am not from Japan, it wasn't close to what my grandma used to make and she is from Japan nor was it similar to any other Japanese restaurant. It could be the "chicken stock" *described in the menu* that threw it off so I didn't finish it. I'll try something else next time. 5) The decor is lovely inside. Very nice cherry looking tables/chairs Plenty of seating and relaxing atmosphere. Outside looked pretty worn out and next to the the Paoli train station. Also if you're heading home towards Philadelphia, the left is pretty challenging if the road is crowded. *The people were nice and accommodating, service was pretty fast. A place called Sushi Nami the sushi was good. I would come back for that for a special occasion and try something else as a main course.

Initially, we probably got Sushi Nami takeout once a month, but since they started delivery it's been once a week. It's excellent sushi, maybe not up to Nectar's caliber, but pretty darn close with half the price. We have sat down at the restaurant for dinner a few times, also. Service was good and BYOB is always a positive with some great sushi. Hopefully this place continues to do well and is here to stay.

My wife and I went there for lunch a couple of days ago. Ordered their soft shell crab tempura appetizer and 3 rolls lunch special for $11.95 (spicy salmon, eel avocado, and shrimp tempura). The meal also came with salad with ginger sauce and miso soup. I was very pleased with the quality and quantity of food for the price. The staff was polite and food came promptly. We will go back again.

This place is AWESOME. Great tasting sushi, beautiful presentation, and consistently high quality across the numerous and varied menu items we ordered. I have been eating sushi in New York City restaurants for 15 years and this place is on par with the better places I've been to. The service was super nice to boot. Decor isn't fantastic but not terrible either; you'll quickly be lost in the meal and the sushi presentation anyway. BYOB and have an awesome meal.

Came here on a Saturday night and was really impressed. Good little sushi spot in Paoli. My only complaint is that our waitress was a little dull but other than that, if you need a sushi fix, this is a "go to" spot.
Went back again during the week (we usually give second chances to even the bad ones). We were literally the only ones there, so service was much better. Sushi was fine, no different than the average serviceable, dime a dozen sushi place. Not bad, but not memorable either.

This place has very good sushi and some creative menu options. I've always had a good meal, however the service can be uneven. They mix up your orders, spill drinks, and are polite if not nice.

My boyfriend took me here a few weeks ago--wow!!!! First off, the service was excellent. Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable. Our food was served extremely quickly, especially for a sushi restaurant! I tried the spicy scallop roll...phenomenal!!! It was so yummy! I also tried octopus sushi-which was so good I ordered another! Overall, the ambience is very nice, it's a cozy place, the staff is friendly and quick, and the food is delicious. Definitely go!!

I went to sushi nami for my birthday because I saw the great reviews on here. I was not disappointed. Byob is great to cut down cost on your bill. While there are cheaper sushi places around the area this place has better sushi and sashimi. The comparison to this restaurant is Nectar in Wayne. While both places have great sushi, Nectar being a tad better, you will pay for alcohol at Nectar and the prices are almost double compared to Sushi Nami. I'd highly recommend Sushi Nami for great food and an intimate atmosphere.

Two words: Sushi Pizza. By far the best sashimi/scallion pancake/spicy sauce/seaweed salad combination I've had in a while. I was a bit skeptical when I heard the name..."Sushi...pizza?!" Two words that I don't think belong together actually become really yummy at Sushi Nami. The other two rolls we had were okay, but nothing home to really write home about. A bit expensive, but that's to be expected for sushi. Best sushi I've on the Main Line.

Keely S.
I've heard amazing things about this place so I had to try it out myself. I decided to go sit at the sushi bar so I can watch the different rolls prepared. Everything was so fresh and put together with "pride" if you will. I had a spicy yellowtail roll, main line roll and dinosaur roll I think it was. Everything was absolutely amazing! Great prices for sushi and very attentive staff! They will even tell onlookers what roll is being placed, because come on...who doesn't stare at other people's sushi meals in pure curiosity!! I will definitely come back!!

Add another sushi place to the list. I will be brief to best help you. 1) The quality of the fish on a Thursday night-- fair to good. I liked the salmon sashimi most-- well sliced and beautifully striped. 2) The wait staff is very attentive, though the food took a long time to come out. They refilled our green tea TWICE by the time we got our main dishes. 3) The prices are a little high. A dinner for two is $42, but doesn't have that much compared to a number of places in the city. 4) The decor is lovely. Plenty of seating and relaxing atmosphere. 5) 15% discount for orders from 3-6pm. Mailer coupon for $5 off $30, $10 off $50. 6) For quality and price, make reservations at Harusame in Ardmore. 7) Sushi Nami is a great place for lunch and a quick sushi fix. I would go back for those reasons.

One word... "boat"... Ok more. The selection of sushi options for the boat of sushi a friend of mine and I made it so we couldn't say "no" to finishing the whole thing. The Black Angle roll is AWESOME and the atmosphere low key and very inviting. Our waitress was accommodating and helped us chill our wine.

Excellent sushi! I have been eating sushi for 20 years and this is my new favorite spot. Service was amazing...food was even better. I highly recommend the Sushi Pizza appetizer. We also ordered three specialty sushi rolls and they were all fantastic. Each roll was loaded with fresh fish and the fish/rice ratio was spot on. The presentation was also great. I use to be a loyal Margaret Kuo Mandarin sushi customer but i think i just converted. I will definitely be back for more!

They reach for mediocrity and fail, but the good thing is you won't remember what you ate at this generic American-chinese-place-that-pretends-to-be-ÂJapanese. The entrees come with a sad salad of lettuce and maybe a mushroom if you're lucky. Edamame was undercooked and undersalted. Best ingredient is chicken - surprisingly high quality, but most of the rest of the ingredients were blah. I prefer Wabi Sabi, part of the same genre, although its nothing special, either. Call it "good if you've never eaten anywhere else in your life".

Since we were out of town, our first order of business was to find sushi - as always. It was delicious, reasonably priced and very cute inside. We were sad that didn't BYOB, but our rolls were definitely fresh and flavorful.

Amazing sushi.. Never disappointed. Even better than the larger ones on the main line. Crazy roll is a good pick as is the pork dumpling soup.

Sushi pizza is awesome!! Highly recommended. Nice environment, comfortable. We were there on a quiet night, I think it's usually busier. Service was polite & quick. Miso soup was good - and someone in my party had the seafood soup & enjoyed that. A good choice.

So glad having a new place in town. The decor is well done. The service good and servers very pleasant. The owner is the sushi chef so that is a plus. I had a specialty roll, the pink lady which was fresh and delicious. My husband had the pan fried pork dumplings and the wrappers were more delicate than I have had from any restaurant. He also ordered the Philly rolls which he said were very good. I can't wait to return.

Just got take out today and it was great!! I ordered 2 special rolls and 1 regular roll. All tasted great and I can't wait to try other items on the menu next time. I've been looking for a great sushi takeout place nearby me and I think I just found it!! Definitely worth checking out!

If I could give this place more stars, I would! I eat out alot, probably 3-4 nights a week due to my job and a wife that doesn't like to eat at home on the weekends... I've been back to this place at least 2 dozen times, average about once a week. I can't say enough good things about it. I would say not just the best sushi restaurant, but probably the best restaurant I have been going to, which is why I keep going back. I've been to all the good sushi spots in the philly area. I haven't had a better experience then this place. 1) The fish is absolutely fresh. For example, the owner gets some of it flown in by special suppliers like his Hawaiian tuna connection . The rice is perfect - delicious with just the right texture. 2) The service is impeccable. Everyone is very friendly. The owners, a husband-wife team, are there every night and put their heart and soul into it, and they are as nice and genuine as can be. 3) Great Menu: there is something for everyone. I've brought my kids, my parents, my in laws, all non sushi eaters (whimps!) , and there is plenty on the menu for all tastes, it's not just sushi, there is alot of cooked fish and non fish entrees. (chicken teriyaki, rock shrimp, etc. 4) Great prices: Look - cheap and sushi don't come in the same rental car. That being said, the prices here are about 30% less than what you would pay at other local sushi spots. For what you get here, it's an absolute steal. Go have sushi at Nectar, wabi-sabi, and you'll be paying $30-$50 more, not to mention you have to buy their alcohol, and it's just not as good. For example, at wabi sabi, you pay the same amount for sushi - but at sushi nami you get 2 pieces , where you only get one piece at wabi sabi. I've seen the other reviews on here - To give this place 3 stars is an absolute travesty - but what do you expect by someone who's last reviews were of Maggianos and IHOP and Chipotle?

Considering how new this place is, they are on top of their game, and it can still improve. I think this will be considered one of the premier casual sushi places in the western 'burbs of the Philly area. Do not miss this one!

(4)Ben C.

(4)Theresa B.
(4)Glen M.
Excellent local sushi restaurant. Their specialty rolls and appetizers are particularly good. The fish is fresh & tasty. Lack of a liquor license hurts, as a selection of fine sake always completes a sushi meal for me.
(4)Christine B.

(4)Matt B.
Great food, Quick. Quality ingredients.
(4)Viktor T.
(4)Jade W.
Everything has been so amazing here recently!! I'm so glad they figured the rice a seaweed. Yay!!
(5)Chip K.
The food was amazing, the quality of the fish was fresh and on point. I recommend the gyoza, yellowtail and jalapeño and the dinosaur egg which was a 10! It is also BYO which is always nice.
(4)Heidi T.
The tuna tartare was DELICIOUS. I ordered and paid online for take-out, which was easy and convenient.
(5)Lauren B.

(5)Brian M.
It's been a while, perhaps even a year now since sushi Nami opened. We have become the "best customers" as per the owners, but there is a reason. Consistently well prepared, fresh and creative food. The service is good and if you are looking for a great Japanese meal (cooked or raw), stop in to check them out.
(5)Steve S.
(4)Heather W.
(4)Tracy M.

(4)Louis I.

Enjoy!
(5)Jen M.
Best sushi on the Main Line! My coworkers and I go here at least once a week for their STELLAR lunch specials. I could not love this place any more. The staff has gotten to know our group, and has all of our orders and drinks memorized. Fantastic service and a quick lunch at a perfect price. Love!
(5)Adam F.
Really good sushi place - probably the best, authentic sushi joint in the area. Great lunch specials and BYO for dinner. If you can't make it downtown for sushi, this is your best alternative.
(4)Janice V.
(3)Ryan L.
awesome sushi for a great price
(4)Dale M.
(5)Dave H.
(4)Elisaina D.
(5)Dan M.
Came here on a Saturday night and was really impressed. Good little sushi spot in Paoli. My only complaint is that our waitress was a little dull but other than that, if you need a sushi fix, this is a "go to" spot.
(4)Steve O.
Soooo disappointed. Just moved to Berwyn and saw such great reviews. I lived in Tokyo for 3 years and appreciate good sushi. But, I don't need frills or a hefty price tag. 2 of my favorite places in the area are Vic (Center City) and Sagami (Collingswood). Both are inexpensive and not fancy at all Sushi Nami was overpriced, first of all. We got 4 soufflé cups of soy sauce (each less than half full) for about 50 pieces. The eel was slimy and funny tasting. Eel is usually our favorite type of sushi. The extra $16 we paid for 4 pieces of eel was a waste. The sushi was way too cold. It lacked flavor. Still disappointed 24 hours later. When I heard delivery would take an hour, that seemed like a good sign. I guess not.
(1)Chantal G.
Went back again during the week (we usually give second chances to even the bad ones). We were literally the only ones there, so service was much better. Sushi was fine, no different than the average serviceable, dime a dozen sushi place. Not bad, but not memorable either.
(2)Heidi T.
This place has very good sushi and some creative menu options. I've always had a good meal, however the service can be uneven. They mix up your orders, spill drinks, and are polite if not nice.
(4)Coll D.
(5)Nate W.
(4)Siying C.
(5)Keely S.
(5)Tyler R.
(3)Kiran K.
Manhattan sashimi roll is excellent. The toro was nice. I will definitely be back here. The ambiance is good.
(5)Derek S.
One word... "boat"... Ok more. The selection of sushi options for the boat of sushi a friend of mine and I made it so we couldn't say "no" to finishing the whole thing. The Black Angle roll is AWESOME and the atmosphere low key and very inviting. Our waitress was accommodating and helped us chill our wine.
(5)Maral M.
(5)David D.
(3)Jessica D.
Since we were out of town, our first order of business was to find sushi - as always. It was delicious, reasonably priced and very cute inside. We were sad that didn't BYOB, but our rolls were definitely fresh and flavorful.
(4)Chad J.
Amazing sushi.. Never disappointed. Even better than the larger ones on the main line. Crazy roll is a good pick as is the pork dumpling soup.
(5)Jessica M.
Sushi pizza is awesome!! Highly recommended. Nice environment, comfortable. We were there on a quiet night, I think it's usually busier. Service was polite & quick. Miso soup was good - and someone in my party had the seafood soup & enjoyed that. A good choice.
(4)Jeanne M.
(5)Melissa G.
Just got take out today and it was great!! I ordered 2 special rolls and 1 regular roll. All tasted great and I can't wait to try other items on the menu next time. I've been looking for a great sushi takeout place nearby me and I think I just found it!! Definitely worth checking out!
(5)J T.
(5)andie m.
We had dinner here last evening and this place is a real find!! The decor is gorgeous, the staff is helpful and friendly and the food is AWESOME! Seriously, I can't wait to go back again!
(5)Bob D.
Excellent. This was the best sushi my girlfriend has had since she left California 12 years ago. I wish I could afford to go there every week.
(5)Adam G.
Considering how new this place is, they are on top of their game, and it can still improve. I think this will be considered one of the premier casual sushi places in the western 'burbs of the Philly area. Do not miss this one!
(5)
