3C's restaurant is located few miles north of Cabels on Rt. 61. There breakfast's are awesome! My favorite is the S.O.S.( chipped beef). Service is always very friendly. Cute, clean restaurant that is open for breakfast and lunch. There is a deck out back of the restaurant so on a nice day you can enjoy the view of the little Schuylkill river while you eat.

I don't recall seeing any anti- Obama stuff, but I was there in the early morning, so I could have easily missed it before having coffee. Very standard breakfast food, but done well and cheap! I love visiting my family in this area because it's so freaking cheap. Anyway.... I had cream chipped beef on hashbrowns, which was good, warm, and comforting. The coffee was awful, but I didn't expect much from a pot of coffee in the middle of nowhere. My fiance grew up on 3Cs and ordered Adam's on a Raft (aka an egg cooked in the whole of a piece of toast). He said he used to come here in the early morning hours before heading out for the first day of buck hunting season, but they weren't open early enough the last few years.

If ur for Obama this is not the place for u to go! If ur anti god this not the place for u to go! The food is good. $23 is a little pricy for breakfast for 2 in this area. The hostess has a bad attitude but the waitress was very nice!

When they say don't judge a book by its cover, they were thinking of this place! Driving by this restaurant so many times and always saw the parking lot full and now I know why. The inside is really done up nice and they even have a patio seating area in the back. We stopped for breakfast after dropping the kiddos at soccer camp and I'm so glad we did! I had the western omelet and it was delicious!!! Our waitress was very nice and attentive. We really enjoyed the back seating area on such a beautiful day. I would definitely recommend this place for breakfast! We will definitely be back!!!

I eat breakfast here quiet often. Always consistently good. I usually get the cream chipped beef over toast and hash browns with fried onions. My son gets the muffin maker and always loves it. Wait staff is very attentive.

The food here is good. Not great, but standard diner fare done well and at a reasonable price. I'd definitely go back, but it's a burgers and breakfast type joint. Well worth a stop, but not special. Place is clean and pleasant, though the outside looks a little dicey. Don't let that deter you. The staff is very good though. Very friendly and prompt. No issues at all when I visited. Don't stiff the waitstaff on tips as penalty for the owner's childish right wing screed board. I can appreciate that they have their views, but it comes off as kooky and odd. Just serve good food and keep your customers satisfied. I'm sure some or even most of their customers agree with their views, but it detracts from a solid place to eat. I'd make the exact same suggestion if this place was left wing.

Friendly, attentive service on a weekday morning? Check. +1 Anti-Obama sentiment and religious paraphernalia? Check. -1 But let's get down to it. No matter the personal affiliation of said family restaurant, it all can be negotiated with quality, tasty food. Sadly, 3C simply does not deliver. I'll just run down the list from best to worst items ordered between myself and my boyfriend: 1. Coffee - Boyfriend was satisfied with his large cup of joe. 2. Chipped Beef on Toast - Admittedly, we have not had chipped beef before this occasion, but we found it reasonably creamy and satisfying. 3. Potatoes - My home fries were decently cooked and went well with the onions. Boyfriend found his hash browns undercooked and soggy. 4. BBQ Spareribs - Apparently this is a slab of McRib-style frozen meat patty with a squirt of BBQ sauce... 5. Country Fried Steak - Thoroughly underwhelming compared to even our own rendition of this country cooking classic. It felt like eating a deep-fried, premade beef patty. The coating on a country fried steak should be crispy in every bite, but 3C's version was clearly lacking in this department. While menu items look reasonably priced individually, the total bill was almost $30 between two people. Not what we were expecting, and certainly too much for what we considered a mediocre meal. On weekends, the line goes out the door for reasons we don't quite understand. Overall, we left with full stomachs, but heavy hearts.

Cannot review the food, as I left before even being sat. I'm sure it's delightful. What's not delightful is walking in the door and seeing a display case plastered with nasty, childish anti-liberal articles and cartoons. I don't give a sniff about the owner's personal politics, but it's almost 2015. Maybe it's time to grow up a little bit. Clearly libtards like me are not welcome at 3C's, so I and my libtard money went somewhere else, and I suggest my fellow libtard brethren do likewise.

Should have known better when I saw signs saying "the wait is worth it". The food was decent but not worth the wait. Service was par, but again slow. The Small town, anti-liberal feel made me feel uncomfortable. It's the only local diner in the area which is probably why it does so well. I recommend saving your time and going to Cracker Barrel instead.

Not terrible overall, but I won't go back. Greeted with lots of anti-liberal and religious sentiment, which didn't make me feel super-welcome. Overall, it was clean, and the waitress was friendly. Coffee was good, and we enjoyed a lot of it while we waited nearly 1/2 hour for our breakfasts to come out, despite there being a few empty tables. My wife ordered a ham and cheese omelet, which was nothing special, but not bad either (came with the wrong toast). I ordered a "Farm Boy" breakfast. I think I was supposed to get two eggs, a rib, a chicken plank, and a sausage patty, along with two pieces of bacon, two pancakes, and hash browns with onions. I got one egg, two pieces of bacon that I think were microwaved, a chicken finger, and a ground beef patty with zero flavor. The hash browns were good. The bacon and hamburger patty were not good. The "rib" was a processed McRib type thing. The chicken finger wasn't bad. Overall, very disappointing.

After a hike up Hawk Mountain on Labor Day, I needed some real food. The guides at the trail said that most places were closed for the holiday, but that I should try 3CS, just 15 minutes away. 3CS is a homey little family restaurant with an outdoor deck overlooking the Schuylkill River. They were serving breakfast only due to early closing for the holiday, but their breakfast menu is extensive. My two eggs over easy with bacon and toast were just right; my waitress was super friendly and helpful too. I plan to return for their famed chili.

Three C is one of those hidden gems right if RT61 in Hamburg. You've driven by it a hundred times and maybe even joked about it. Well do yourself a favor and pull in. The breakfast menu is an adventure. You can go light or typical PA Dutch, where you'll need a bulldozer to get yourself out the door. Breakfast hoagie? Yup. The Country Nibbler that gives you eggs, all meats, toast, french toast and pancakes? Yup. All the traditional favs are here too. Get here early on Sundays, they pack up quick and parking is tough.

The relaxing breakfast next to the river on a spring day can't be beat. The staff is friendly and the food is good. The only complaint I had is that I drove from NJ to cabelas and wanted breakfast there and they were closed on a Saturday morning by 1/4 inch of snow or less.

Slowest place in the world. Waited 20 minutes to be seated and then waited for an hour for our food. The restaurant wasn't even full. They need to step their game up especially with all the diners around. Don't waste your time!!!!

My husband and I absolutely love 3C's. We always try new places for breakfast but others always prove to be subpar compared to this place. Super friendly staff and owners. Prices are reasonable and place is always clean no matter how busy it gets. They have great coffee too, not the watered down stuff you usually find at diners. I only ever get an omelette or pancakes and they are always phenomenal.

Their breakfast can't be beat I love sitting out on the deck and having breakfast. We live up in Pottsville and travel down to 3Cs just because it's that good well worth the trip. The only thing that I have a problem with is as you walk in on one side of the hall there are religious items and on the outher side are crude remarks and jokes aimed toward their hatred for Obamo. It just strikes me as the height of hypocrisy. i think that a public resturant displaying that kind of hate is just over the top. Is that the self acclaimed christian way 3Cs?

One of the best places to stop and get fresh food, clean atmosphere, and terrific service! One of my favorite things to do here is read the Hikers Log, written by those who stop in for a hearty meal while hiking the Appalachian Trail.

best breakfast in the area. bbq chicken omlet was great. "uploaded photo" the waitress was very professional but yet down to earth giving you a welcoming feeling. prices are right in check for the amount of food you receive. i will be returning. hopefully sooner then later.
