Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

This place has some amazing pizza for sure! There are many other items on their menu that are phenomenal and may not be as well known. They have delicious salads (particularly love the Southwest chicken salad and Thai chicken salads) and their garlic knots are irresistible! They also do catering. We have used them multiple times and they always deliver quality food. They have a great variety and are accommodating when requesting small modifications to certain dishes. I would highly recommend the Red Tomato to anyone looking for a diverse reliable menu with great pizza, and quality catering.

Overall, the pizza here is very good. Our pickup order took about 15 minutes, which included one large plain and one large pepperoni pizza, with fries on the side. Pizza was well cooked and had a great balance of cheese and sauce. Great value as well as there is a special on two large pizzas. Fries were just ok, but would definately order here for the slices again.

Delivery order for a calzone around lunch. It took an hour to arrive and without what it said on the menu. Called and was told someone would deliver the correction to me, which never happened. The calzone was apparently veggie aka "The Good Stuff" but was basically just dough and cheese. Price was comparable to other nearby restaurants but I will probably not order from them again.

I have order a number of times from here ... Pizza & Steak sandwiches & calzones are very good!

My husband and I love The Red Tomato! We have never eaten at their facility, we have only ever done the take out or the delivery. So far, we have tried their cheese pizza, pepperoni pizza, bacon cheeseburger pizza, special pizza, buffalo chicken pizza, and buffalo chicken calzone. All of the pizzas we have tried are delicious! We will definitely be reordering many of their delicious options! I can't say that I would eat there, because they share a building with a Dunkin Donuts, so their section is very small and informal. I would rather just take my meal to go and eat it in the comfort of my own home.

The food is decent, but service is awful. They need to hire someone just to work the front counter. The cook is always in a daze checking out the chicks.

We get delivery from here at least every other week and have never been disappointed. I love the pizza, baked ziti, chicken fingers and fries. Always good food and quick service.

I was between giving them 3 or 4 stars, but I had to give them a 3 based on my last visit there. Their pizzas are good and they have a good variety. Last time though, we ordered a margarita pizza to go, and the person on the phone told me it would be about 5 minutes. I wondered how they could make a fresh pizza in that amount of time, until I received the pizza and noticed that they threw fresh mozzarella on an already cooked pizza and just warmed it back up. I did not taste good at all, and we have eaten pizza there many times and enjoyed it. Shame on a place for not making a fresh pizza for a customer! We ordered way before they closed too...btw. I will be going back, but I expect better customer service.

Wings are decent, sandwhiches are rich but excellent. Always service with a smile too.

I have driven past The Red Tomato and always thought "we need to try that". Tonight we did and I was really impressed with the menu options, so many unique pizzas to try! We ate in, but as previous reviews say, its only got 4 tables and is extremely casual. The food we ordered was excellent, some of the best garlic knots I've had (and I know my knots) and I got a small Chipotle Chicken Pizza, very flavorful, it had corn and black beans on it, delicious. We will definitely be back, I got a lot more pizzas to try!

The Red Tomato is very close to where I work, so I've eaten here several times for lunch. I've always been happy with what I've ordered (Chopped Salad, various paninis, chicken sandwiches and pizza by the slice). Friendly service when I've gone to the restaurant and quick delivery when I needed it. You can eat at the restaurant, but there are only about 3-5 tables and it's VERY casual. It's actually in the same building as a Dunkin' Donuts, so prepare for a variety of delicious aromas when you walk in!

I was very excited to try the Red Tomato, after hearing rave reviews from coworkers about the great food. They hung up on me when I called, so I called back and ordered 3 hoagies (Italian, Chicken Salad, and Turkey) and a Bacon Cheeseburger pizza. The hoagies were extremely large, but the dough was tough and hurt my teeth to take a bite. The hoagies were not impressive at all. The chicken salad hoagie was all bun with very little chicken salad. The cheeseburger pizza was a pile of "bacon in a bag" and burger, which all converged in the center of the pizza. No American cheese , just processed cheese sauce squirted over the pizza. It was one big grease ball. There was no mayonnaise, tomato, or lettuce on the pizza. The dough was limp and the pizza was lukewarm. Hard to believe this was a gourmet pizza. Would you believe that after forcing a few slices of pizza down our throats we then drove back and put the leftover pizza on their doorstep with a note saying how bad it was. Too bad I couldn't see their faces when they saw it. I have since tried a couple different varieties of pizzas there and they were pretty tasty. I'm upgrading my review a couple of stars. Maybe that one bad experience I had was an "off" night for them.

I went to The Red Tomato on 1/15/2009 for the first time. I ordered a small pepperoni pizza. It was almost as good as the original pizzaria at this location which was valley pizza. I will expand more as I try more of the menu

Never again! No bottled water, only tap. The "bacon" in my BLT was bacon bits. And the tomato's were a light pink color. Kind of ironic since its called the Red Tomato.
