Diabetics at TGI Friday
If you're a diabetic, then you must be extra careful while dining at TGI Friday. Try the salad menu at TGI Friday to keep your sugar and sodium intake in check. Soups are great to keep you full and satisfied without munching on the unhealthy greased meat-based dishes on TGI Friday menu.
Foods to Avoid at TGI Friday for Diabetics:
Sugar and sodium intake are crucial if you have diabetes. While the salads are the best option for you at TGI Friday, it is recommended to avoid the Pecan-Crusted Chicken Salad containing over 1000 calories and 1,650mg sodium. Also, skip Warm Pretzels with Craft Beer-Cheese dipping sauce as it contains more than 3000mg sodium. It is wise to skip the dessert for diabetics, especially the Brownie Obsession topped with Vanilla ice cream, caramel sauce, and pecans.

Food Suggestions to Maintain Cholesterol Level at TGI Friday
Went to this friendly's last Friday with my aunt and it was an ok place. I have never really been to one before but it's similar to places I have been. I mean what's not to like they serve really good burgers and fries and their shakes are to die for if you have enough room in your stomach to eat one of course. But I mean it was good I had to eat the fish and chips from their menu cuz it was good Friday but I was impressed with the taste and our waiter was nice but took his time getting our food. Anyway might not go back to a friendly's again but similar places I will go. Maybe I'll go for their breakfast sometime.

Only 2 stars because the entire place looked and felt dirty. Table and booths were greasy. Bathroom was gross. Waiters, hostess and chefs were loudly yelling at and fighting with each other, repeatedly. I only had a sundae, and it was delicious, but took 15 minutes. It also seemed small and expensive. The dish was no where near as full as the menu picture. I have had many sundaes at local establishments, and this was by far the least ice cream for the most money. But, again, it was delicious. Server was very nice. I would only return to get ice cream from the take out window. Their WiFi is free but pathetically slow.

Great service by our waiter, Tyler. Service was fast and the food was good! The menus that were given to us from the Manager had food stains. Please clean the menus!

2nd trip in a month and survey says: Awful incompetent slow service and mediocre food. Loved the server coughing up a lung all over the dining room too. And the greasy cleaning fluids they put on the table when they seat you is so pleasant. Take out window for ice cream is your only bet here.

This review is for the ice cream sundaes. I've given up on the food at this place a while ago. I did a takeout Jim Dandy Sunday and split it with the family. It was so yummy. It reminded me why they even started selling their ice cream in the supermarkets. The size was huge and service spot on.

After the renovation, it's much better. Nicely done and you know what you are getting. Our service was terrific. The waiter was Tyler. Super friendly and very professional despite customers nearby giving him a hard time about nonsense.

The service here leaves much to be desired. Never going back. It takes for ever to get served. The food isn't very good either.

If you review one Friendly's, you essentially review them all. I honestly don't even know what I enjoy about this place. I think it might just be the childlike feelings of nostalgia I get when walking in the door and seeing ice cream sundaes shaped like clown heads! It could also be the memories of after football game hangouts in junior high. Whatever it is, I am drawn to Friendly's whenever I am in the Mid-Atlantic region. The buffalo chicken strips are good, the service is below average, and the restaurants are usually covered in a weird sticky residue. This is most likely from the large number of kids who always frequent this restaurant. Whatever your thoughts on Friendly's are, it is always worth at least a good story when you venture into of these.

Service staff there is incompotent. We got up and walked out of the restaurant. Why? 12 minutes after being seated and watching everyone else that was seated in our section after us in our section be served drinks and have their food orders taken while my gf & I were sitting there unattended to. I went up to the kitchen and asked another server if we were going to be helped and she looked up from texting, saw where I was pointing, & she said "he is over there for your table now." I looked over and saw the server walk right pass my table and ask the table caddy corner across from us if they were "ok?" I said, "bullshit," he didn't give my table a second glance. So I walked over to him and asked if he was planning on waiting on us at some point and he said when he gets a sec. That was the last straw. I expect exceptionally bad service at Friendly's and know that going into it but even bad service is still service.

Overall the food is good and the portions are decent. The staff can be an issue if you eat there but it has gotten better recently. I usually order take out from here and haven't had to many issues other then some delays when the place is packed, etc. I do wish that they would stop changing some of the menu items. I loved the onion rings that they used to have (they still have the fronions which are good but onion rings were a nice alternative). What can I say, Ice cream is good and is usually prompt (at least when I've been there). As I mentioned it seems like the staff has gotten better overall recently, it's not perfect just better then it was/has been over the past year or so. It's a good place to get some decent food for a reasonable price plus you can get Ice cream, sherbet, etc.

Same shit from when we were kids... Great ice Cream, the place where kiddies hang out during and after school. Cheap eats, blahzay service due to the youth working there. The rest of the menu... can be forgotten. Friendly's is known for their Ice Cream and Sundaes... K.I.S.S!

He invested $5000 on his own and borrowed another $5000 from his mother to buy a bar named The Good Tavern and renamed the premise to Thank God It's Friday, inspired from an expression during his time at Bucknell University.
