We've been coming here for almost 30 years. The people are nice and the food is always good. They will make things that are not on the menu (like Roast Pork and Bean Sprouts). I love their Shrimp Egg Foo Yong. Egg Rolls are very good, but now and then not drained well enough and too oily. Have never used their delivery, since they are only a couple of blocks away. I agree with one reviewer that their decor is tired...but the food makes up for it. And drive-thru pickup is wonderful!

I refuse to believe the people who work at China Inn actually eat the food. General Tso's chicken is such an insanely over-ordered item that you think it should be perfect at any Americanized Chinese restaurant you go to. Sadly, this is not the case at China Inn. The chicken is spongy and devoid of any kick (despite my "yes make it very, very spicy" order). Thank the lord they had plenty of chilli sauce for me to drown the chicken in so that it had some sort of flavor. The wonton in the wonton soup was strangely soft and just not pleasant. The egg roll tasted like it was refrigerated and microwaved. Oh also, China Inn charged me $8.95 for the privilege of placing their terrible General Tso's chicken in my body. I can deal with crummy Chinese food as long as the price is right, but this is unforgivable. China Inn, you have at least one really sweet lady who smiles a lot when she gives people take out orders. I liked her. I disliked everything else. I'm sorry.

I've always gotten take out from China Inn via the drive- thru, and the food has always been very good. Last night, we decided to eat in. The first thing that caught my eye was the decor. The place needs to be updated in the worst way! The decor is old and dilapidated, and if I'm being honest, it comes across as a bit dirty looking. Fortunately, the food made up for the appearance. I had the Hunan shrimp. There were plenty of large shrimp in my meal, and it had just the right amount of heat to it. Their egg foo young and egg rolls are delicious, too. Our waitress was very attentive and pleasant. Paying the bill was another story. I stood at the counter for a good four minutes before one of the staff looked up from their cell phones, and realized I wanted to pay. Overall, it was an okay experience. i do like the food so i will order from there again, but I'll stick to the drive- thru moving forward.

This Chinese food place is like no other! They have a DRIVE THRU, you heard me right...DRIVE THRU! You don't order there, you have to call ahead, but still. You don't have to leave your car and you don't have to sit there wondering if anyone can see you (like at Applebees or other car hoping places), just drive up to the window and give them the phone number...done. Oh yeah, the food was good. Had me some General's Tso's, fantastic, like no other in that respect too, sauces was brown and sweeter then most. Again, fantastic.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
