My go-to spot in New Hope for Chinese food. Mr. Sunny is so nice and always comments about how much food I order and how hungry I must be. Some might find it offensive, but I find it endearing.

Sizes small for $20 First time and last time going... Ordered Shrimp Fried Rice and Got ... Fried rice with 1 shrimp in that was the size of a childs pinkie nail... ? I don't know what the heck that was that I ordered but I asked for sesame chicken and got this disgusting gristly, greasy, oiled bread crumbs with I think (Or hope) they were chicken shreads (verses medalions) in it... Never going back again and I live 2 miles away from that place

Ew. Can I give less than one star? It's very hard to screw up the classic General Tso's chicken but this place accomplished that. It tasted like old barbeque chicken that sat out all day. The vegetable lo mein was cold and bland. We ordered a "large" Shrimp and broccoli and there were like 7 shrimp. Can't imagine what the small is. The sweet and sour chicken is pretty much just fried batter with no chicken. Just don't.

Ordered take out for the family , when we got home realized that more than half the food we had paid for was missing. We returned immediately, while they did correct the mistake, it took over half an hour and they did not retire the whole order so the food that we had received sat in a bag dying the whole time. Turn out that none of this really mattered anyway because even the food that was freshly cooked was terrible. Mind you, I use the word fresh loosely as everything we ordered tasted of freezer burn. The food almost indelible, the potions were small and overpriced, the staff was incompetent.

This place is cheap, fast, and the food is consistently good. The service is always excellent. No ambiance, so we always do carryout.

Once found a wad of hair, like someone had given a haircut next to the chef, in my fried rice. Never again.

Nice little place I visited to eat while passing by. Service was excellent and food was also great for a good price. Staff was friendly and ambiance is very comfortable as well. I will definitely come back when I pass by this area. somewhat authentic chinese food but best in the neighborhood.

not great. ordered the wonton soup and sesame beef, (apparently, a "house special"). my soup had one measly wonton in it and the beef was waaaaay overcooked, almost unchewable. boyf got the general tsos chicken, which was better (meaning we could actually bite into it, no problem) but, still, nothing special. service was good, and i really liked the ambiance. alas, our hunt for good local chinese continues...

The food here is very good and somewhat authentic, which was surprising. The staff is friendly and the prices are very reasonable. Best chinese food in the New Hope area.

Just okay. Too bad Yelp doesn't have half-stars, this is one situation that requires it. Ambiance is acceptable, but really more for lunch than a fine dinner. Restrooms are usually clean, but very basic. Wasn't clean on 2 occasions. Food quality is average to just okay. Glad to have it, but wouldn't go out of my way for it. Fried rice is lacking something...it is consistently lacking in flavor. It just seems to be missing something. Boneless ribs are covered with an extra portion of a very sweet sauce, unlike just about any other Chinese place. The eggplant appetizers were very good, and something not usually found in average Chinese joints around here. Portions of good size. Service I get here for table service is efficient yet cold and lifeless, with about as much charm and warmth as a robot. One gets the impression that he or she is not wanted there or that the server dislikes being there. The take-out people (I assume they are the owners) are always perky and friendly, with a desire to please. Cleanliness: The dining room is fine. I have in the past seen a questionable procedure in the kitchen when waiting for a take-out order. One worker was preparing chicken from the largest pile of chicken I have ever seen. A pile of chicken that size for one worker would surely be at room temperature for a very long time. I question if that is proper food safety. All in all, I am glad to have HK Sunny to go to, it sure beats the competition in town.

As a local I have been comming here for years. Their General Tso's is one of the best I had. You can tell they use fresh ingredents here. Staff is very helpful for instance if you want certain vegtables substitued its never a problem. Pork fried dumplings are delicous. Hands down best chinese food in the New Hope/Solebury area. Quick tip the prices for their lunch specials are great.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
