A colleague, BP, would not shut up about how great this place was and how all he ever wanted to do when he went home to visit his family in Ohio was to eat at Bob Evans. On our drive from PIT to PHL, I was hungry and we had to eat somewhere since it was getting pretty late, so we got off the turnpike and it us led us straight to BE. I was told it was one step up from Cracker Barrel and Denny's. Good enough for me! It basically is like a Denny's for you West Coasters. We were seated right away and this must've been it for Friday night, because it was pretty crowded at 8:00 pm. I ordered the chicken noodle on mashed potatoes and biscuits and TY got the turkey dinner thing. It was a good portion size and less than $6! It was almost like a chicken noodle stew ladled over the potatoes. Soooo good. And I didn't really feel bad eating it. Yay for Bob Evans! The only bad thing is that they don't have milkshakes! They have ice cream and they have pie, but no shakes! What the heck? I guess they get that question a lot because that's what our waitress said. I think it's time for them to redo the menu and add some shakey goodness on there.

Just like any other Bob Evans, this one has really good breakfast. I'm not sure about any other meal here simply because I've not been to this location for other meals, but their breakfast is fantastic. We went on a Saturday and they were busy, but the staff was still very friendly. Our server was quick and efficient and was always bringing refills of our drinks. Food was decently priced as well. Four people ate breakfast for under $30.

This restaurant used to be great. They used to have a great manager a little while ago that hired fantastic servers and kept the place in order. We felt like we were eating at home but with better food. However, over the past year, this place cannot keep servers due to their poor management. I visited this location on Christmas Eve and was actually yelled at by the manager for asking for service. Apparently, it is his way or the highway. This used to be our favorite local restaurant but after this incident I will never return, at least until Bob Evans clears this place of the bad rubbish. If you do visit here expect slow service, unfriendly staff, and a possible reprimand by the manager if you dare to ask for service. The food is still decent but I have noticed that the portions are definitely smaller than at other Bob Evans locations. You are better off visiting McDonalds next door. It is cheaper and the staff is far more friendly.

I ordered lunch for 12 today for an office meeting - Chicken Penne Pasta, Garden Salad with Wildfire Ranch dressing, Rolls and Peanut Butter Brownie Bites. I was so impressed and so were the guests. The pasta was cooked perfectly, the salad could not of been fresher, the rolls tasted like those I have baked for myself, and the bites made me want to eat the whole box! I received multiple compliments on these selections, and while not gourmet, it was delicious and the servings were ample. When I arrived to carry-out, everything was ready and several of the friendly staff helped to carry it to my car. The order was exact. Will definitely order from here again!

So far not good. Had to wait to be seated when Mgr saw me and said hi, then went about talking to employee instead of seating me. Then had wait just to order drinks not from my waiter, then waited for him to take my order. Then it took forever for dinner to come out and broccoli was not cook enough. It seems something has changed since new Mgr has taken over. Hope this not a trend. Positive note he covered ck when he saw I didn't eat broccoli

the food was good and we enjoyed it!! however we couldn't help but feel a little strange by the unreturned smiles!! anyway i won't get stuck on that. if it wasn't for jeremy our waiter i'm sure this would be a much worse review. he was great and did make us feel welcome he talked with us for a second and told us about the place we were visiting.it was nice talking to him so i'll say our waiter and the food were great...everything else was a little off putting to me.
