Their homemade perogies are out of this world. This bar/restaurant reminds me of cheers.One of the owners, and resident bar-tender, Georgie will remember your name. Georgie is a standup guy, and always there if you need a drink and a friend. This is a great local spot, family owned and run. They have hulupki and as I've mentioned, scrumptious perogies (boiled or fried, I prefer boiled with sautéed onions). Both are homemade! The one brother is a mushroom guy and sometimes they have wild mushroom soup which is so rich and creamy mmmm. If you are looking for a home cooked meal, you've come to the right place. My fav comfort food dish has always been the roast beef sandwich with extra cole slaw. (Also homemade. ) I'd also recommend the Delmonico steak sandwich, which is an actual steak on an italian hogie roll. Lasty, if you like fish, I'd have to say the Cajun broiled haddock is a great choice. Their crab au gratin is also really good, and the of course, their steamed clams are the crowd favorite.
