The place to celebrate Uncle Pat's happy birthday.

Still the best scallops around on their broiled seafood platter. Awesome services as well. One of our party ordered water with lots of ices, no lemon and a second glass of ice. That came perfect and when the waitress just brought a refill she again brought the same odd combination. We went home with a paper grocery bag of leftovers as well. Their nitrogen beer is awesome as are their Martinis. I wish this place existed in Bowie, MD.

Never had an average meal here. Always excellent. Been a regular who's never disappointed. Friendly staff and owners!

Excellent, excellent, excellent meal. What a hidden gem this joint is. Guy Fieri should definitely showcase this place on triple D. Not only is the food fantastic but their in house brewery kicks out some pretty impressive beer as well. You have to get a steak, have to. It was perfectly cooked and I opted for the cajun rub. the sides are fantastic as well. Be prepared for a lot of food. the steaks are huge and the sides are the same. i wanted to keep eating thru dessert but had to throw the towel. ill definitely be back. Oh and if you know you want to check this place out I wouldn't hurt to call ahead a make a reservation as they can full up fast. Go there...you will not be disappointed.

1. Service - really friendly and professional service. It's my first time here, and I felt as if I was their regular customer. 2. Price - I think my filet mignon was about $22 for 5oz. Very reasonable. Steaks can be as high as $56 a piece depending on what you may order. 3. Ambiance - it's a house converted into a restaurant, but don't let the outside fool you. Once you're inside, it looks nothing like a house. This is a hidden gem in Nanticoke! 4. Food - delicious, if I ever have to come back to this town, I would surely come back here again. My filet mignon came with a salad, and two slices of bread. Not a hungry man meal, but just as expected, a light dinner. If hungry, go for the 36oz Cattlemen's Cut Delmonico! 5. Cleanliness - very clean.

We had a fabulous meal here! I had the cajun trio pasta, I got a huge portion and the seafood was fresh. I got huge shrimp, moist chicken and tender scallops in it. I got two sides with it, a Caeser side salad and a Cajun tater...my fiancé had the Kansas City strip steak, it took up the whole plate! you definitely get a lot of food...but the prices are on the high side. Our bill, with dessert, 2 French onion soups and 3 beers was around 120.00...

Very good meal - but going with 4 stars for the price to product value. Had a filet. Cooked just right. Handcut fries were very good as was the salad. But the prices are steep for basically a bar with a restaurant in the back. Service was good.

Very tasty steak and nice waitress. Large volume of food. If it can open more days in a week would be better. Price is not so bad given the quality of food.

As much as I am a fan of Marty's Blue Room, I was on the fence between a 3 or 4 star rating. But, since I'm in a good mood, it gets a 4. Here are some pros and cons. Portion sizes are gigantic. Almost too big at times, you seriously get your money's worth. Dinner entrees come with 2 sides, and if you get a salad as one of your options, be prepared for a meal in itself. The Delmonico steaks are HUGE but delicious. I recommend it with a side of mushrooms and onions. My god...so good. Service is always friendly and helpful except sometimes lingers on the slow side. You can sometimes wait up to 45 minutes for your entrees which is actually very depressing when your starving, but you aren't ever let down when the food arrives. So it's a toss up. Decor is mehh. Boring, plain, bland - nothing fancy. But in a way I like it's low-key vibe considering how delicious the food is even if it's in a house-converted-restaurant. For the area, Marty's is a decent choice. If you want a satisfying meal with tastes of New Orlean's then this is a great find. They have Cajun style food, blackened catfish and tilapia, jambalaya (get in my mouth), and serve really delicous pasta, meat, and seafood dishes. I guess I'm a bit jaded after living in cities where I expect the entire package: great food paired with stellar service and an environment that has a nice ambiance instead of reminding me of a pizza joint/bar. But, even though this doesn't have all 3 of my credentials, I still keep coming back. And they say actions always speak louder than words, so...

My fiancé have been here only a handful of times but it has been declared our favorite place to eat in nepa. The portions are amazing. The beer is great. Our favorite is the "chicken Patrick" and the Cajun taters. So good. You cannot possibly be disappointed here.

Best value dining in NEPA. We shared crab dip and stuffed mushrooms, both were tasty. The salad that comes with most meals is very fresh and huge, I was mostly full before the entree. The prime rib with mushrooms and onions was amazing - perfectly cooked to my medium rare request and so tender. I took 3/4 of the meal home though - the portions are enormous. House beers were pretty good but so much better than the local 'craft' breweries. Setting is low key and casual, decor leaves much to be desired but it really doesn't matter as the food is that good.

This is a little, local gem I like to keep in my back pocket. This place has yet to let me down. The food is terrific! The preparations are spot on - cooked to order, excellent seasoning. The prices are a bit high; it is well worth it for the food, but the atmosphere is lacking. There's nothing fancy about the joint. I'd suggest making a reservation. There's only a handful of tables. If you're in the Wyoming Valley, definitely give this place a shot!

A really great dining experience. This place boasts a casual and unpretentious atmosphere. We had a few glasses of the Hopenstein IPA they brew on the premises and they were top notch. Our waitress was friendly and helpful without being obtrusive. The food was excellent and the portions were generous. My wife and I ordered the blackened Catfish with salads and Cajun pasta along with an appetizer of "Rattlers" which were Jalapeños stuffed with Crawfish. The portions were gigantic. We ordered everything "hot.". The fish was flavorful and it definitely had a nice heat level. The only misfire was the Cajun pasta side which managed to somehow be simultaneously bland and spicy at the same time. A small complaint considering how excellent everything else was. Corner bars take note, these guys are doing it right.

This is my favorite restaurant in NEPA. Must start with the Cajun Crayfish. Anything served blackened is divine. I don't eat steak but supposedly the steaks are amazing as well. The beers are all house made and are excellent, especially the Hoppenstein IPA. I can't recommend this place more highly. Since I first came here, I have come to celebrate every occasion after, and just when I want awesome food!

Marty's is a good spot. The owner's are nice down to earth people. I remember when I went their with my wife I had a Regular cut Prime rib, just awesome!!! I also ordered the Benny Brew Sampler, the beer was delicious. When I was done my wife & I decided to have a drink at the bar. While at the bar I sat next to a really nice lady who was drinking a Benny Hopenstein & we began to have a conversation with her. I told her how much I loved the Benny micro brew & my meal & she bought us a few drinks. Later on I found out she was one of the Owner's of Marty's. What a very nice grounded woman. I will definitely have a beer & a meal at Marty's again.

Overpriced. It does have Cajun style food, but I have had much better. Nothing special, and for the price they charge, I expected something special. I can make better food myself. Next time I'll stick with Banko's.

My family loves this place! The food is always superb, cooked exactly as you ordered, and you are always guarenteed to be going home with left overs. If you are a steak lover by any means, the choice cuts here are exceptional. Pricey? Definitely. Delicious? OMG Yes! It isn't a place that we can frequent weekly, so we tend to come on special occasions and such. But overall, one of the best fine dining choices in this area-hands down!

Came here for drinks on a Saturday night with a party of 6 people, all looking to hang out for a while and spend mobey. Including us, there were only 8 or 9 people at the bar, but it took me 10 minutes to get the bartenders attention. He was sitting on a stool at the other end of the bar just not paying attention. Just based on that poor service and how generally unfriendly he was, I wont be returning.

This is one of, if not the best resturant in Wyoming Valley. Ive never had a bad or even close to bad meal here. Good portion size, good service and nice people. The only negative on all this can be the prices. This is not a place to eat every week due to this but certainly should be considered anyway. They make their own beer and thats a plus for me. Good products too. It can get very crowded on the weekend so make reservations in advance.

Great food. We had a wonderful night, great service, really recommended!

Don't judge this book by its cover. From the outside, Marty's Blue Room looks like a big shack tucked in a row of rowhomes. If we hadn't set out for a special trip to try Marty's, we would've driven right past it and gone somewhere else. Lucky for us, we went inside. The bar and dining room are warm and cozy. Service was excellent at the bar and at our table. Wide selection of beer includes several good beers brewed onsite. The food was pretty good. It's not five-star dining, but much better than you would expect. The wings are nothing special -- just chicken wings drizzled with hot sauce. But they are twice the size of normal wings. In fact all the portions are HUGE. The Cajun Trio was great and so big that I had enough leftovers for two meals. The level of spice (mild, mediium, hot, and wild) are probably set a bit safe if you are a serious chile lover, but just right if you are an average American. Definitely make a reservation on the weekend, or get there before 7pm to grab a seat at the bar. Prices are a bit high (entrees around $17-35) but the huge size of the portions make it worth it. We drove an hour to check out Marty's and are already planning to drive an hour to come back again.

A little pricy, but the servings are big - and you get two sides for the entrees. I ordered a "hot" version of the Cajun chicken pasta, and it was deliciously spicy! If you're not into that much spice, you can get your Cajun dishes made mild or medium - and if your bowels are made of steel, you can go ahead and order "wild", which is one step above hot. I DIG really spicy food, and hot was pretty darn hot. I'm not sure I'd go up to wild without a glass of milk to calm the taste buds.
