If I am here often enough to be a Duke, I must be a fan! Too, this morning I had the Raspberry Stuffed French Toast blackboard special. Two slices of well dipped bread sandwiching homemade creamy Cream Cheese stuffing, and topped with in house Raspberry reduction topping. Sweeeet & Tarrrt! Filling enough for two meals. Best thing I've eaten at Squirrels Nest.

Ever wonder where all the grandma's and grandpa's go before church? They come to the Squirrel's Nest for breakfast! This place is the cutest little cafe for old people (well for anyone, but the crowd is older AND they have a special menu section). The hubby and I went in to try the place out, they were friendly right as we walked through the door.`The menu is pretty much similar to a diner, but with some daily specials. We figured we would stay pretty regular and got the Nutty Breakfast (don't be a fool, no nuts in it) 2 pancakes, 2 eggs and some bacon. The hubby got a Western Omlet, which he liked. Overall I think this is a decent place if you live in the area to grab a bite, service was good and people were friendly. I wouldn't exactly go out of my way to come back, but a solid option nonetheless.

Over all this is a nice corner Cafe, with a Great menu!! Alot to choose from, The service was definitely great. Food comes out with in 5 Min from ordering. The server kept coming back to fill up my mug with coffee. And didn't even have to ask. That's definitely right on it. Everyone is so friendly. And feel welcomed when entering!! Would Definitely be coming back. Check out there Daily specials on the wall!!

Thought I was down south. Definitely not healthy food served here. Creamed chipped beef? Steak-ums from the food store? Canned vegetables? Ever heard of "FRESH, REAL AND HEALTHY"? If your not a regular, a local or like low quality food forget it...drive on.

Great family run place..service is a little slow but the food is so good...defiantly worth the extra time and the food is cheap..

This is a very cute family owned restaurant. The breakfast was hot quick and very good. They have daily specials and always have a sugar free dessert which is great. Staff is friendly and make you feel at home. This is one of the best breakfast places around

great for breakfast or lunch, just added dinner hours, has been here forever and while it may not be pretty the food is good stable American eats

My wife and I had breakfast here. She had the eggs Benedict and I has the cream chipped beef. We both enjoyed our meals very much and will definitely come back!

The girls, as we call this always come through. Homestyle , old fashion cooking. Family owned and run, not fancy but worth every dollar you spend.

Driving around, looking for a bite to eat. Figured we would try anything once. The decor in here is terrible & almost kind of creepy...squirrels everywhere! The staff wasn't very welcoming when we walked in, but our waitress was very nice. Seems like a "local" place that unless you know the people who work here you will probably feel kind of awkward. I had a cheesesteak that I'm pretty sure was "steak ums". The lentil soup was mediocre at best - canned veggies, with a bland broth. My fiancé had a turkey melt with onion rings with their weird Squirrel Sauce. He said his was decent for being a pretty bland sandwich. The cole slaw, which I usually like, tasted like absolutely nothing... The waitress was cleaning around us (vacuuming) although she asked us if it was ok...? Then when we were paying we found out that they were closing an hour before it says they close? I'm thinking they stay around until they're good and ready to leave? We were the only patrons in there except a few people coming in/out who it seemed to have ordered take out. Don't listen to their closing times, I get the feeling they don't stick to it... We won't be back. Shame too because there aren't many options in Mville besides pizza...

This is a nice home-town cafe. Very casual atmosphere. The owner used to run Steaks and Things on the Delaware River. They have a diner-like menu and daily specials. They have a huge selection for breakfast and serve it all day. They also have burgers, fries, wraps, soups and salads. I would say their courses are mainly meat and potatoes more comfort, old-fashioned meals. The food is cheap and the servers are nice. Their clients are mainly the town people and a good group of regular seniors - they also have senior specials. As for healthy meal options, not too much, but they will do their best to accommodate you if you want something specific. I would give it 5 stars, but I think they need more healthy options on their menu.

stopped in on Thursday evening about quarter to 8, all the lights were on but the door was locked, the sign read that they were open till 8:30pm, then they should have stayed open till 8:30pm! we were told through the glass that they were closed. so if you don't stay open till when you say you will be open then maybe you should have just stayed retired! I don't know how the food is because i never sampled it and since i have been turned away now, I don't think i ever will.

Drove around for a little bit and said lets try this place....and guess what? homemade chicken pot pie was on the menu! Mom said it was very good and was very pleased. I very much enjoyed my choice as well. Also, The wait staff was very pleasant.
