Romeo, Romeo where for art thou, Romeo's... In this small town of Mercersburg Romeo's is a little hidden gem. Everything is very tasty especially their Philly cheese steak!! OMG there is nowhere in LA that can top the Romeo's Philly cheese steak. It is a nice casual atmosphere usually filled with students from James Buchanan High School or the Mercersburg Academy. Very charming and quaint, kind of mom and pop ish... I really like this place and I recommend it for out of towners.

The pizza here is pretty good. It's nothing fancy or artisan, but it beats the heck out of a chain shop like Pizza Hut. The subs and hoagies are where it's really at here, though. Amazing! The cheesesteaks are huge, filled with really good steak, and the bread is hearty and crusty, but not dry. The capacola hoagie is my favorite, though: Flavorful cured ham (plenty of it), with cheese and veggies. Good prices, too--can't beat a $5 sandwich that really fills you up. Most people will probably take the other half home.

One of my favorite pizza parlors growing up, best stromboli I have ever had. Cheesesteaks are quality as well. An institution in Mercersburg, always a must have on weekends.

This place gets 2-stars for being the best pizza place in Mercersburg. However, I'd advise that you go to Greencastle for some better tasting pizza, and hopefully some staff that actually listens to your orders. It seems like it's a thing with this town that NONE OF THEM LISTEN TO YOUR ORDERS. I said to the girl taking my order "Do you put MOZZARELLA cheese on your cheese fries?" "Yes, do you want it on top of the fries?" "Yes, can you please put some mozzarella cheese on them." I figured after saying it twice, and receiving her approval, that it'd be fine and i wouldn't need to check the order on the way out of the restaurant. But wow, I was wrong. Of course, NACHO CHEDDAR cheese poured on top of the fries when I get home. Ripoff of adding an extra $1.50 on that. The pizza was normal. Less toppings than I expected too. Avoid this place, avoid Mama's, avoid Mercersburg if you want pizza, and an accurate order.

Service was relaxed and courteous. Bread sticks were quite good fresh. Pizza was pretty average. I enjoyed my experience.

I love the cheesesteaks on their homemade bread. Nothing (except the creation of a nicer atmosphere) has changed since I started visiting there 18 years ago! Takes me back... :)
