The well-priced $10 lunch special included an appetizer, soup and entrée, but know the portions are sized smaller for lunch. The soup was served in a really small cup, only one spring roll was included for the app, and the yellow curry was served on a pretty small dish. However, everything tasted very good! The flavor of the chicken yellow curry was perfect, and the only negative thing I could say was that the potatoes were ever so slightly under cooked. I got the curry with 2 stars hot, and it was comfortably hot, without ruining the good flavor of the dish. Eating every bite on my plate, including all the rice, I can say that I am full enough as far as lunch goes. One other thing worth mentioning is they also serve dishes from other cuisines, including Vietnamese, Korean and Malaysian. I will definitely come back!

A co-worker had raved about this place; now I'm developing some trust issues. To start, service was at a snail pace. This was particularly confusing as there was only one other table dining. In fact, it was so slow that we ended up ordering our entrees to go. I ordered the Pad Thai and came back to the saddest box of noodles I'd ever seen. Quite literally the saddest because the noodles were GREY (no I'm not colorblind). They would be drenched in tears if food had any self worth. I could also count the pieces of flavorless chicken with my left hand, and it failed to come with any crushed peanuts. Can you even call it Pad Thai at this point? To no one's surprise, it tasted as bland as the bean sprouts - which was a difficult comparison to make because there were hardly any but hey, at least they're in there! Seriously though, I'm still a bit shell shocked and at a loss for words. What happened? What did I just eat? I think I'm feeling a tad grey now too. I'm so confused..

The prices alone bump this up to 4 stars! The lunch special is crazy, a soup and app, plus entree only $9! The coconut soup and corn/shrimp cakes were great, I also really liked my masam curry. The tilapia tasted a bit off due to the fried dough it was in. Chicken teriayaki dish was pretty good. I didn't really love the pad see ew, it wasn't as sweet as I usually like it. Overall this is definitely worth checking out for some affordable thai food!

Good lunch specials. You can get a small soup, appetizer, and entree for like 10 bucks. The food I had here was good. The ravioli soup was tasty, and the crab dumplings were super yummy (as was the plum sauce that came with them). My entree was pretty OK, nothing amazing. I'd love to come back and try more things, though. The menu is huge and I really don't feel like I can form a true opinion of this joint without trying more stuff!

The lunch special is definitely a great deal. My favorite dish there would have to be La Na and Yen Ta 4 hands down.

Delicious! The Tom Yum Noodles and Shrimp and Corn cakes are my favorite! The Mee Gorang is also great! You have to be patient with the staff, they were very very nice to us but one persons meal always came out later than the others for every course.

I've only done takeout. I love all of their appetizers. The Thai iced tea is good. Their entrees are delicious. They are a bit expensive, and parking is difficult.

Have to say...on a cold day this place is especially good, especially when you order seafood noodle soup with a little heat on the side (chili.) Very friendly staff and good location.

Recently went here with my best friend. The servers were extremely nice. The food was really great, it was just a little bit slow coming out. I like that on menu it tells you how spicy/hot the food is. I would definitely go back!

Best spring rolls in town! They've consistently been excellent and I've been dining in and taking out here fairly regularly for the past couple years. The lunch specials are a great deal (though sucks you can't get it take out). The entrees are pretty good, not as stellar as the spring rolls, I'll say that. I'd steer away from the Pho, not authentic at all...though this is not a Vietnamese restaurant after all. The pad thai has consistently been their best dish (in my opinion). Also love the ravioli soup (though not Italian at all) The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Best Thai in Delco... Good reasonable prices too. BYO so bring some drinks or stop and have a few on one of the bars on state street.. Nice place to walk around also.

Reasonably priced with great lunch specials. Their Heaven curry lives up to its namesake and there are a ton of excellent vegetarian options. The service is sometimes slow but when taking out, it is ready in the time they give you.

delicious food! I live in media and this is a great, low key spot to go. It fills up on the weekends but definitely worth the wait. the servers are usually pretty attentive but sometimes they take a little long to get your wine open/place order. I always order the spicy noodle with shrimp and get extra veggies - best entree!! It's a BYOB, so that's always great. I would recommend them over other places in town.

  • Denise K.

I've had the food and it's very good. But last time I went they were understaffed so we left after 20 minutes of wait to be asked for our order. We didn't even get water. Get your act together Noddi Thai!

Stopped in for take out. First time trying it. Has a charming but cramped dining room. Signs say BYOB. Looks like a nice place to have dinner. I ordered shrimp coconut soup; small Pineapple fried rice; and Chicken Pad Thai. I was taken back at the $26+ price. Overall, I was not impressed with the food: the broth of coconut soup was very tasty but it was just broth with a few sparse, coarsely chopped, large chunks of red pepper, onions and grocery store, bland pre-sliced mushrooms. The pineapple fried rice was a good portion but just fried rice with 4-5 chunks of pineapple mixed in. The Chicken Pad Thai was very disappointing - the noodles were overcooked, there were no peanuts at all (Pad Thai should have peanuts! for crunch and flavor!!) and there was more Tofu mixed in than chicken in my "Chicken Pad Thai", lame to substitute tofu for meat. Just not that flavorful for Pad Thai. Not sure if I would try again, especially at those prices. Dissapointing because I have heard such good things about them. Was really hoping for a flavorful exotic treat, didn't get it. Nice little place though and the staff was very friendly and helpful when ordering. If you go, bring quarters, parking is primarily street meters. Hard to find parking during peak times.

The food is great here, I've tried the crab pad thai, and also the yellow curry chicken, both excellent. The price is right, and the service is excellent. If you're in a hurry this is a quick place to grab a bite most of the time. We will definitely keep coming back!

The ambiance is quite nice. There were myriad Christmas decorations. Quite kitschy, as one reviewer pointed out. It's a well-decorated place. If you know what to order, you'll fine good food. Some dishes are rather plain. I got the spicy noodle, which was pretty good. Not spicy enough, but the flavor was there, noodles weren't too soggy or undercooked. My friend ordered the curry noodles, and it was a bit too plain (in taste and in looks). Pad Thai was decent, thank goodness. Prices are just all right. Could be better, could be worse. Depends on what you order, I guess. The waiters are very nice, though!

I could get 2 bowls of pho for the price of 1 disgustingly dull noodle here. Never coming back!

FYI: Spicy scale is 1-4 So this is a nice little place off the state st. -the main street in downtown Media (its a cool lil town check it out if you haven't). I've been multiple times, with many take outs in the past year. This place is great for an easy dinner or when you have a curry craving. Staff is usually warm and nice. Sometimes service is a little slow when they are working with alot of pick up orders, but when in good company its generally not a bother. I've had multiple items off the menu. The curry is good. Their peanut sauce is perfect. The mango curry is super tasty! They offer an early bird special which is a great deal, soup half appetizer and entree. The rice is always spot on and fresh. Best of all they usually don't charge us for substituting or adding extra sauces. I'll admit some of the appetizers do have some inconsistency in pricing, but all of them are under 9 dollars which is great. Great for those living in town. Its definitely a casual joint, they have a big paper light star in the window, signs up with tape. So no candle light romance here, just good food. Public street parking, public lot around the corner. Easy to get to.

I had a very pleasant 4 star experience an Nooddi - but it is really a 3 star kinda place (needs a makeover!). But - I happened to get there before 6 PM and got the early dinner special which is a great value. A cup of Tom Kha soup. 2 steamed crab dumplings (delish!) and a generous portion of Chicken or Tofu Pad-See-Yu. Loved every bite. And my wallet thanked me. Great service - place was empty on a Thursday at 5:40 PM. No, it's not the best Thai ever - but it'll do and I will be back - and likely soon.

We had a coupon for this restaurant. After hearing good reviews, I went to try. So, we got in on a Wednesday evening. There wasn't much crowd. The waitress was friendly. And where I sat, I could see the kitchen. We ordered a veggie tempura for appetizer. For $8.95, that is the skimpiest plate I have ever seen. It was OK. My friend ordered Chicken and Shrimp Pad Thai. I ordered tofu green curry. The noodles were burnt and shrimp wasn't fresh. For the 13 bucks paid, at least the shrimp should be fresh. Whereas, my green curry was mediocre. My office cafeteria serves a better green curry. On top of it all, me and my friend had after effects. So I highly doubt the cleanliness of this place. Overall score 2.5/5.

Food is delicious and reasonably priced. Service is very friendly but they could use an extra person.. Tends to be slow. Even so the kitchen seems quick if it's an empty night. It's your average, solid Thai place. Good for dropping in with no reservation or take out. Parking is the usual in Media.. There's a lot just east of here off of state street... Otherwise it's street parking. It is usually kind of loud with conversation.. No booths or dividers just a room full of tables.

Overall, kind of meh. Been to this location twice. The caucasian waitstaff are kind of smarmy and make you feel rushed. Lunch special is very well priced, but the portions are TINY. Got the dumpling appetizer, it was literally two dumplings. Come on guys. Food is pretty tasty though. Work on your staff and portions and maybe I'll be back.

I've tried Nooddi Thai a few times and had mixed experiences. The first time, I ordered Pad Se Ew with tofu (this is my feel good goto dish at every Thai place)- it was bland and the vegetables tasted old and chewy. The second experience was better; I ordered the Curry Noodle- the heat was well balanced and everything seemed fresh. My hopes of Nooddi being a better restaurant were dashed on the third and final try when I ordered the Kao Soy for lunch. The Chicken was rubbery and seriously tasted days old and the curry milk itself was too spicy when the menu states it's just a little spicy- and to be clear, I enjoy heat. The veggies that accompanied the dish looked like they had been sitting out since 6am. I ended up throwing away the entire entrée (I had ordered take-out). Most people that I had asked about Nooddi also have had mixed comments, but they are more often than not, they lean torwards negative. I'm a big proponent of Thai food so I'd really wish Nooddi was better... but if I had to use two words: Terribly inconsistent. I would not recommend Nooddi.

I like Noodi Thai. They have a few different locations in Delaware county, but this one is the closest to my bf's place. We came here on Friday night for dinner with a party of four. We tried the appetizer sampler to split between the four of us (its really portioned for 2, but after splitting things in half, it was a perfect amount for 4 people to have a little something before the entrees came out). I got the crispy duck for dinner, which is basically a duck confit. I'm not a fan of rare duck, I like it crispy, so this was good for me, but if you're a fan of sliced duck breast, this version might be a litle overdone for you. Also, I tried some of my bf's pad thai, ( they do it more on the sweet side), which is how I like it. Its a BYOB too, which is nice when you're trying to save a few bucks. I'm a fan!

I like it! Not as good as my favorite Thai spots in DC, but really, really good. I go with the pad se ew and it is great every time. I have been several times to sit down and a few times for take out. Always solid. Great service for dine in and I did not feel rushed or cramped. Price was about right for what I expect to pay for decent Thai.

After years of passing by this place and never going, I finally decided to give it a try with my sister. Like some of the other Yelpers mentioned, this place has zero ambiance but that doesn't really matter since it's BYOB you get a ton of delicious food for cheap (my favorite kind of place). The lunch specials were plentiful, so we both decided to go for the lunch trio of a soup, appetizer, and entree, which ranged from about $8 to $13. Neither of us are thai food experts, so we just picked the items that sounded the best. She ordered the coconut soup, moon dumpling, and kao soy (with chicken); I got the ravioli soup, crab dumpling, and pad ke mao (with shrimp). I didn't really care for the coconut soup, since I don't like my soups sweet, but my sister seemed to enjoy it. Both dumplings were hot and tasty, but I preferred the crab dumpling with the moon dumpling's dipping sauce (it was zesty and made my taste buds dance). Both entrees were awesome; the pad ke mao was similar to the thai drunken noodles (my favorite) and the kao soy kind of reminded me of a pho-type dish. My sister got the cheesecake for dessert, which i thought was very awkward. It came out a little on the warm side and had an outer shell like it had been baked - very weird. Me no likey. I must say I dislike Media since everytime I go there it's a freakish high school reunion, but Nooddi was so good that I'll definitely return in the future. Check this place out!

Super delicious Thai food. A++ for the Yellow Curry. Tastes exactly like it was prepared in Thailand. Fast and friendly service. BYO is an added bonus. Great presentation on the fried banana treat (see pic with flowers)

Kitschy bright colors, tiny room with lots of tables, and awesome Early Bird specials that include appetizer, salad, and entree in smaller portions, which is wonderful. They are not uptight and are happy to let you get in on them, even when the time for specials is almost over. Vegetarian menu is helpful. though I had to send back my coconut soup after finding a big piece of chicken in it. So stir around first! :-) I loved how finely they shredded the cabbage peanut salad, and the dressing was excellent. His mock duck came with a ton of the seitan, when they sometimes skimp on it at other places. Inexpensive, and we will be back when we are in town. They seem to welcome BYOB though we did not bring anything.

Consistent food, friendly staff, and okay atmosphere, Nooddi Thai Chef is the better of the two Thai restaurants on State Street and in the general vicinity. Their Panang, Red, and Green curries are rich and flavorful, as is their Tom Yum soup. Mango sticky rice is available (though best in season). Their foods lack a depth of complexity that I've experienced in other Thai restaurants, and the atmosphere leaves a few things to be desired: it's usually cold in the winter and the chairs aren't terribly comfortable. Still, there's a lot to be said for consistent curry and a happy staff!

For a cute little town like Media, I'm really disappointed there isn't a better Vietnamese place. This place is the closest thing we have and their pho has been a bit hit or miss. Once it was extremely salty as if they spilled soy sauce in it. More likely it was just not fresh and have been cooked down too much though. The other two times they were decent, not quite what I was hoping for but got me through as I just needed some broth-y comfort food. The Thai options here are good, and I like their spring rolls. They get extra credit for plating also. All in all a solid restaurant within walking distance of my humble abode. Definitely room for improvement to go from "eh" to "wow" though. I hope they can step up to the plate.

Delicious food, carefully prepared and beautifully presented. Gorgeous crisp fresh vegetables! The two vegetarians in our group raved about the seaweed soup and the mock duck entree. The mushroom soup and the Deep Sea dish also earned rave reviews. Finish off with the coconut ice cream or the coconut custard for a wonderful, memorable meal. Bring your own wine or beer if you like, or if you forget, there is a state store a couple of blocks away. Very reasonable prices and friendly prompt service. The restaurant was quite busy the Friday night we were there, and they were doing a brisk take-out business as well. Despite that, we did not wait long for our appetizers or entrees, and water glasses were refilled swiftly. The location in the center of Media is a plus, especially if you have tickets for the Media Theater across the street. We will definitely return to Nooddi Thai!

Much better food than it's down the street Thai competitor. The food is very good and reasonably priced. Service is attentive and pleasant. The decor is relaxing and cool. Takeout is a breeze and they never make you feel like a second class citizen for deciding on takeout. They have 4 cool seats by the window where I like to sit at lunch to watch the trolley and people watch. For kids they have a really nice menu.Lunch : many times. Dinner: maybe 4x. Never disappointed.

  • Kat M.

Inside, the place is pretty decent sized with several tables and a seating area next to the window for eating and people watching. The kitchen area is blocked off by some colorful partition that allows for you to see your server behind the counter. We went for the lunch special, which is decently priced. The special comes with a generous portion of your main course and comes with a bowl of soup and appetizer. I tried the tom yum soup with crab dumplings (2 tiny ones!), and some yummy pad see ewe. The service was good, both servers were friendly. I would come back if I were in the area.

New to the area so we were strolling the strip for a place to grab a bite. The menu looked decent and inexpensive so we'd figured we give it a go. The interior isn't bad. Bright colors on the walls and an arrangement of tall Thai dancer statues, flowers and a water fountain greet you at the door. Dim lighting could be enhanced by some spotlights, but it's ok. I felt like I was on the Lower East Side in NYC at an eatery that caters to NYU students. The staff is friendly and the lunch menu extensive. We ordered some of the specials and were very pleasantly surprised. The portions were plentiful, fresh and very tasty. So good we decided we'd definitely return for dinner soon. We returned on a Friday evening for dinner, hungry and ready to go... keep in mind it is BYOB, but we decided to skip the alcohol. The place was packed but we were seated immediately. We then proceeded to order Spring Rolls, Ravioli Soup, the Deep Sea, the Cashew Nut, a Mango Drink and a Lemonade. The Spring Rolls were savory, crispy on the outside and quite large. The Ravioli Soup, oh the soup that I was teased with at lunch and had to order a dinner portion. The broth is so light and seasoned perfectly, the 'ravioli', plump and delicious, with slices of carrots, scallions, broccoli and a little bok choy I believe. My companion ordered the Deep Sea, a seafood combination which looked amazing. He ate every last bit which says a lot considering the size of the serving and the fact that lately neither one of us can finish any meal when eating out. I ordered the Cashew Nut, which as you may have guessed, is their version of Kung Pao Chicken. Yum, Yum in my Tum. This was so good I even ate all the bell peppers that came with it. Not as 'hot' as the Chinese takeout versions I've eaten, but all the more delectable. Again, very generous portions, service with jasmine rice, my mouth is watering right now. The Mango drink is good, the Lemonade a little sweet for my taste, and seems to be sweetened with honey, which I do not like. But it lets itself be consumed. Overall I am looking forward to going back to Thai Chef and Noodle. It's good, it's inexpensive, a relaxed atmosphere, not too loud where you can't hear yourself speak, and did I mention? The food is GOOOOOD.

I love Nooddi Thai! I got the drunken noodle last night. I told her I was vegetarian an she made the appropriate adjustments to my order. She then asked if eggs were okay. I was so pleased that she checked to see if I was vegan and make sure that she was accommodating my diet. I'm not vegan, but I thought it was very nice and extremely professional of her to ask. Way to go, Nooddi! Once again, food was awesome! I also ordered the curry samosas. Those were amazing! The pastry was light and a little crispy. The potato filling was so good. I don't think I will eat at any other Asian-food place in Media!

  • Chris J.

Ordered the spring rolls and shrimp pad thai, hoping that it would be amazing. I was underwhelmed! Decent pad thai, but the shrimp were definitely on the small side and the egg came in huge pieces instead of small diced or shopped pieces. Spring rolls were excellent, crispy and fried to perfection, but the duck sauce was so runny I could barely get it onto the spring roll! Will definitely give it another shot, as I ordered takeout, but not a place I'm dying to get back to!

The strangely-spelled Nooddi is the IHOP of noodles. They offer noodle dishes in a variety of styles (Chinese, Vietnamese, Indonesian, and Thai, to name a few) and ample seating. Pronounced "nudie" (like... "nudie bar"), this unassuming franchise is located on a corner on Media's State Street. Their interior is colorful, with hanging pictures of people enjoying noodles (what else?). We ordered the lunch special - get an appetizer, entree and a dessert for ~$8. The appetizers were tasty, but small. They're appetizers for a reason apparently. Luckily, entree portions are significantly less stingy than the starters. I had the drunken noodles, and tried the Malaysian-style noodles, tangy and piquant. The Japanese udon were comparatively mellow when held against the others. A fruit-bowl was the dessert. Run-of-the-mill condiments are provided with the entrees but some doozies are there too - there were some delicious spices I couldn't identify right away! Service was on the mark! Like the Bamboo Club chain, Nooddi tries to make many styles at once. Instead of excelling at any given style, they pull off average marks with each style. I enjoyed my meal but others noted the food was too salty. If you're in the neighborhood, Nooddi is worth a try, especially if you like noodles. Informal, inexpensive, and appropriate for any sized group.

Finally found decent Thai! Since moving to the area a couple of years ago I've been in a serious Thai drought. Thankfully I discovered Nooddi. Thai basil chicken was excellent. Steamed chicken dumplings were similarly good. And while the beef panang was unlike any other I have had (less creamy, more brothy) it was delicious. Only knock is that ordering it "Thai hot" did not result in a spicy enough dish for my palate. Looking forward to trying the West Chester location that is closer to my home.

Colorful atmosphere (literally) that's not favorable. Takeout, though possible, doesn't seem ideal by the spatial organization. My vegetarian Tom Kha had chicken in it which leaves me to believe they cook it with chicken and later fish it out and replace it with tofu when someone orders it vegetarian. The Pad Thai is baseline; Spice Level 3 is enjoyable and something I would go with on the reg here.

FINALLY -- I found a decent Thai restaurant outside of Philadelphia! The service is great, the food is great, I really am at a loss for words. I got the Pad Thai, which for me, serves as the true test of a decent Thai place. I figure if you can make Pad Thai well, you can make anything. I was excited to find that it was fantastic. I can't wait to go back.

The place is small and tackily decorated, which I actually don't dislike for a neighborhood thai place. But the food? Not at all good: My husband got the chicken pho and complained of it having a horribly underseasoned broth, super dry/chewy chicken, and quite literally three little pieces of chicken and a few floating vegetables. It was really just a big bowl of noodles in hot water. Not at all worth $10. I had the pad thai, which actually nauseated me. The smell was terrible, the sauce was overly sweet with a weird, this-might-have-been-made-yesterday flavor going on. Again, I had like three pieces of carrot, two baby corns, and a few mini florets of broccoli. The tofu was just terrible, as if they used super soft instead of firm in a dish like pad thai. And again, just noodles aplenty. It was supposed to be TOFU + VEGETABLE pad thai. The appetizer, spring rolls, were served way too hot and had no flavor. I'm not at all into bashing restaurants, but I will never go back there. On the walk home, I exclaimed aloud "I wish I could vomit so that I can eat dinner again".

I love this place, I've found myself dreaming of their Singapore Noodles. Some of their items can be a bit over priced like their springrolls, but they are pretty reasonably priced for the most part because they give you such large portions. Even if you don't like sitting down and eating at restaurants I recommend at least getting take out from here!

I enjoyed visiting this restaurant for the lunch or early bird special. Yesterday I was very disappointed that my favorite dish, Kao Soy made with egg noodles in a curry broth wasn't with egg noodles this time. I started to wrap the noodles around my fork and noticed the texture was really soft and the color was white. I took a bite and realized that it was not egg noodles. I told the server then she asked the chef. The chef said it was egg noodles. Being Asian and growing up eating noodles I knew that what I just ate was white vermicelli rice noodles. How was I supposed to argue with the chef? Should I have asked for the raw form, the package...Now I'm not sure if I will return to the restaurant because my favorite dish was destroyed!

I went for lunch with a friend and plan to go back with my husband for dinner.... We shared an array of appetizers that were some of the best I have ever had. The menu is HUGE and the noodle dishes were tried were fantastic! It is BYOB and they offer take out as well!

I came here with a friend for their early bird dinner special--a three-course meal for $10.95 or $11.95, depending on your entree choice. Surprisingly (or perhaps unsurprisingly), we were the only customers in the restaurant at 5:30 PM on a Wednesday. I got the tom kha soup with chicken, som tam salad, and khao soi noodles as the entree. The flavor of the soup was good but the chunks of chicken breast were a little overcooked. The som tam primarily consisted of cabbage and a spicy fish sauce-based dressing, and was unremarkable. The khao soi was a noodle soup made with soft (almost mushy) egg noodles in a thin curry broth, topped with cabbage and fried noodles. It was a bit rich and I would have liked to have something to cut the oily mouth feel of the coconut milk-based curry. We also ordered mango and sticky rice as a dessert. The mango was fresh and the sticky rice was perfectly steamed, but for some reason the whole dish was covered in whipped cream and there was some sort of syrup or jelly on the side (the kind you sometimes see on top of cakes). Bizarre. The price is great for Thai around here, and the food was decent if not particularly special. Service was spotty, but that might have been because we were the only customers in the room and they thought they could slack off a bit. If you're craving Thai food and are on a budget, it's hard to beat this place.

The service was really good, and the spring rolls were also good. Everything else we ordered was pretty mediocre. I wouldn't recommend the food in this place. Not really traditional Thai.

While this place lacks any type of ambiance, the food is really good, abundant and cheap. Favorite dishes are chicken red curry, drunken noodle and sweet basil chicken. Also, surprisingly good are the duck dishes which are worth the price. I'd advise to stay away on Friday and Saturday since it gets so busy; it seems like the place can't handle busy nights and the service can get really slow. It can also get loud when busy and full of annoying kids who run around the restaurant. However, if you have a family, its a good option for that reason. If you go on a weekday night or Sunday, it can be very intimate and romantic.

im generally a fan of any restaurant that doesn't laugh or hang up the phone when i ask if they offer any gluten free options. the girl on the phone was super helpful and let me know which items were safe or could be modified to be safe. i should also mention that the food was VERY good and i assume they are also very careful of cross contamination after mention of a food allergy because i had no problems after eating their food any of the times i've ordered food from them.

Lunch for two on a weekday. Good food, not awesome, but good. Decent prices. I'd definitely do lunch here again.

I looove Thai food best of all, so of course I was excited to check this place out and try some delicious noodles. Boy was I disappointed! The pad thai was flavorless and overcooked, the Drunken Noodles were flavorless and overcooked, and the dumplings were flavorless and overcooked-- they were literally gloppy in texture and fell apart. Gross. Oh, and I forgot to mention-- overpriced. For yummy Thai food in the area, check out La Na down the street-- delicious!

Food great, service is not so hot. I've always walked out of Nadia's with a full and happy stomach, they have a way with noodles and seafood that is inspired. It's a bit too complex for kids, but a great little restaurant to take you wife or date. If you call ahead you can get a reservation for a bigger table, I was able to get six people 'snugly' ensconced mid-week at 7pm. This place would be perfect if not for the irritatingly slow wait staff. Ordering isn't always easy but leaving is near impossible, I've had to go flag down a waitress twice for waiting over 15 minutes to get my check... and it's a very small restaurant. Could be they're watching soap operas in the back or something. If you're not in a hurry and want outstanding Thai, head to Nadia.

I come here pretty regularly for something cheap and quick. The food isn't the most flavorsome around, but it's worth the money for sure. The servers are all very nice and the service is usually pretty fast. I've been working my way through the vegetarian menu for some time now, and most entrees have been pretty good.

Went here for dinner on a Monday night after attempting to go to Sweet and Stuff Sushi on Olive St. and found out it was closed. ( after calling and they confirmed they would be open!) Always wanted to try here and I wasn't disappointed. We were there in time for the weekday 5-6 pm 3 course meal. I tried the hot lemongrass soup which was delicious. It was tangy and spicy and left me wanting more. I have though about getting the soup take out since then. My friend had the coconut soup which was nice. For the appetizer, I had the fried wonton and my friend had the spring roll and they give you two of each. It was nice to try each one and not be completely filled by the time your entree arrived. I had the drunken noodles which I would recommend and my friend had Massaman curry which I tried and was delicious. I also tried the Mango drink, which is mango juice which apparently is heated with some sugar cane and then cooled...or at least thats the explantation I got from my server. This place was a definity win and I will go here again, and I also want to try the Glen Mills location too. Its BYOB if your into that.

The first time I ate here, I had never had Thai before. Nooddi came highly recommended by a friend of my husband's. I have to say, the name makes me giggle every time I say it. This Nooddi location is on a corner in downtown Media, a place where a restaurant can really get lost. There are sooooo many to choose from, and most are different styles of cuisine. The interior is a little crazy and they're always playing pan flute muzak. Nooddi can get crowded fast, as there are not a lot of tables. The servers are all very nice and the food comes out fairly fast.

I like this place much better than Heng's Thai down the pike because of the fact that I'm not paying exorbitant amounts of money for the same quality food. Their lunch special is extremely cheap, and though your two appetizers are small, your entree more than makes up for that. The last time that I went I received drunken noodles instead of what I ordered, but hey, their drunken noodles were delicious so I wasn't complaining. The waitresses are extremely polite and attentive, so that my glass was never empty either. I'll lean 4 on this one given how few other Thai options there are around here.

My first thought when I walked up to this place was to turn around and find someplace else to have lunch. I just didn't have a good feeling about the tacky way the place looked from the outside... The second hint to leave was the handwritten note placed in the entrance stating that if it took longer than one minute to be seated, you should forward a message about it to the email address on the note.. But since I saw a party of about 12 people seated having lunch, I figured that it was an ok meal to have... I couldn't have been more wrong. The food that I recieved was served barely warm, and looked as if it was premade.. If I thought that they were just having an off day, I would have asked to see the manager.. But since there were only a few people working inside, I probably had already seen or had been served by the so-called manager... If you're tempted to stop in one of the few restaurants they own under the same name, remember that yelp's lowest rating is one star... That's what you'll likely be giving them after they serve another disgusting meal..

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place, and am super sad that I don't live in Media any more, because I miss it! They were programed into my phone so I could call them when I got off the train and pick up my dinner on my walk home. Great pad thai and noodle dishes that you've probably never tried before, so experiment! Appetizers are great as well - try the crab rangoon and thai sarong, "pinkies in a blanket," shrimp wrapped in crunchy noodle covering. Always a great meal here.

So i always order the same thing (Pad Woon Sen) and it has almost beat out pizza for my favorite food. The staff is so friendly, it's BYOB, and the food has never disappointed anyone else i've taken there. And to all the haters out there, i love the creepy decor.

Always great food! I have my go to favorites, Heaven Green Curry and Coconut Tofu Soup. Vegetarians can not go wrong. I will say that I am not so into any of the appetizers that I have ever gotten. I feel like they are frozen and reheated. Everything else seems like it it made from scratch and made with love. Love this place, to dine in and take out. Lunch is cheap too!

So I'm in the middle of a five day trip down to this part of the country visiting family and hanging out. On the way back from a visit to some Dupont estate turned into a museum/horticultural center, I somehow wandered off course route 1 and end up in Media. I cruise around the block and stumble into this spot. Having not eaten really anything all day, I ordered the appetizer platter and my sister orders the Chicken Red Curry or something like that. I also ordered the fried squid. I always tend to order only appetizers at restaurants that I have never eaten before. Its a good way to gauge the food without taking too much of a chance. The chicken on a stick was ok, the fried spring rolls was'nt too bad and the couple of other items were all pretty good. The fried squid was somewhat above average, my sister was'nt too happy with her dish, I tasted it and it did seem a bit bland. The service was however very good, decor very soothing and it is nice and cozy.

I noticed that the reviews from a couple years ago aren't that flattering, but I have to say, they must have changed their act a bit since then. Besides the strange variety of interior selections....none of the lighting matches, there is a scattered string of lights in the window, a rusty suit of armor in the entry way, and a couple pictures that are a framers worst nightmare, but they all just add a little kookiness to the experience. The menu is quite large, and YES there are a lot of Noodle dishes, but it's almost like Thai comfort food. I always get the Drunken Noodles with chicken, which is huge and nice and spicy, and my husband usually gets the Kao Soy, which is a curried coconut chicken soup with noodles, that is very comforty. I recommend trying it for the first time for lunch, because their lunch special is awesome. You get soup, an app, and an entree for like $8.00 or something, but make sure you build in some time, because they tend to always be a little slow. It's a plus that they are a BYO too.

Excellent Thai food. I usually get the pad Thai. Service can be very slow so don't bank on getting out of there quickly. The decor is colorful and fun. I'll be back!

After trying to talk Thai with Chef & waitress so I tried it here but come out super...disappointed :( Okay their menu has variety noodle styles to choose but not even one item that we love. ie. we ordered (SUPER spicy) somtom came out just a plain salad on top with dipping sauce from the bottle, curry tasted suck even my white folks said so :( Don't get me wrong, this restaurant may great for some local clients but I won't recommend you trying if you seeking for authentic Thai taste.

Best Thai food in Media (sorry, La Na), and possibly Delco (with their multiple locations). Great prices, nice size portions, BYOB, speedy wait staff, and lots of yummy noodle and curry dishes to choose from. If you don't know what to get, start with their spring rolls and then the Pad Thai. Usually never a wait to get a table, either.

This place, also called "Noodi", is BANGIN! I don't like the suburbs too much, but this is a reason to like Media, PA. I had to see a show that my friend was in at the Media Theater, and this Thai place is right there. So my Aunt Suzy and I go in and had the BEST dinner we've had in a long time. We ordered the appetizer sampler, which I believe is called the "Nadi Sampler", which was EXCELLENT. Then my aunt got Pad Thai and I got Woon Sen and everything was so delicious. They give you so much food, I had a gigantic lunch yesterday as well. I can't wait to go back! I have an audition at the theater in a few weeks, so maybe I'll catch the lunch special at this place. so good.

Wow, the crab rangoons from this place were out of this world. They tasted so fresh and crispy, and the cheese was so light. I'm still trying to work out in my head how that cheese was so light. My boyfriend got the thai pasta, and I got the tom yum noodle. His pasta was good though not very spicy. The tom yum was decent by any standards, but I think I will definitely be more adventurous next time -- they have alligator on the menu! All I can say is You Gotta Try These Rangoons.

Such a good feel to this place and the food is lovely, not a very intimate dining room-one big room all tables no booths or alcoves etc. Never had anything less than excellent service and the prices are great too.

I was in media with my girlfriend for a blues fest and needed something good -and vegetarian. This place was in sight and the fact that it advertised vegetarian in the window made me feel like I should give it a shot. I have to say that from the outside it didn't look great, but once inside the decor picked up a bit. That was the start of a really good meal at a very reasonable price. I agree that some of the food was not as authentic tasting as many places I've been, but I don't care about "authenticity" -I've eaten really bad "authentic" food in many parts of the world. The point is that the meal was surprisingly good. The spices were delicate and subtle; nothing in what we ate was overpowering -which is a sign of a skillful chef. We shared coconut soup and fried chive dumplings for starters. For entrees we had the red curry and mock dock. Both were good and I kept thinking "Oh, I like this better" every time we switched plates. Total bill was $40 for 2 of us including tip.

I love Nadia Thai! So delicious, so reasonable, especially for the lunch. More often I have come for dinner with friends or family (including a little celebratory dinner after I finished my dissertation) and enjoyed everything. They make a fantastic Massaman curry (my curry of choice) and have delicious appetizers too. It's BYOB: the first time I came here I saw people leaving with a semi-case of Miller Lite!

My husband attempted to speak Thai to the waitress and although she was speaking Thai to everyone else, she wouldn't speak to him, which pissed him off. But about the food. I usually get Me Gerang (or something like that) and it is very spicey and tasty, but after trying many other dishes here, that is the only one I really like. The Pad Thai has a funny flavor to me and the shrimp dishes come with about 4 pieces of shrimp for a dish that costs 16 bucks. I feel ripped off here. So that's that.

i always ge the same thing-- Spicy Noodle with tofu (or chicken) Larb Kai Salad (awesome spicy salad with lime served under a bed of ground chicken) their coconut soup is good, and in the winter i love the mushroom soup- it needs a bit of saly but theres none on the table though =\ byob they deliver now too!!! good prices, good service awesome lunch time special-- cheap $7.95 app soup entree iced tap water and they dont cheat you on the sizes either- its just right for me (too big for others) haha

I think this is one of the better places in Media. On the plus side, the food is tasty, pretty cheap and they have a lot of selection. Its also good for families and big groups, but later in the evening it is more of a date setting. On the down side, the service can be slow. This is rough when you are eating spicy food and nobody will bring you a water. Overall, really delicious Thai food, nice atmosphere and an essential spot for anyone in the Media area looking for Thai food. Personal favs are the drunken noodle, curries and calamari appetizer, but everything is good. Please do not go to Iron Hill--walk two blocks to Noodi. Its also BYOB.

Just had my first non-lunch experience here, and it was pretty much all around ok. Tasty, but different then what I've come to expect of Thai. But a nice time all the same, and pretty inexpensive.

I dont know how any of these fools on here couldn't give this place 5 Stars! This is some damned great thai food. Very authentic with PLENTY of options. I used to go to LaNa up the street until their service started to become very poor and snotty. So I decided to try Noodi out again after not being so impressed by it a few years ago. I was completely surprised. The food is rich, the portions are fair and the atmosphere is really neat! Someone here said this is part of a chain? UMMM...NO. If a "chain" consists of one person owning two restaraunts, then yes....but really? NO. "noodi" is like a generic kind of name for a foodery. Do an internet search and you will see. I also had the best coconut ice cream ever. I have travelled the world, always opting for thai, and am happy to report the best thai i have found is right near my home...and the price is reasonable.

"Nadia Thai Cuisine" is known better locally as the "Noodi Bar" because that's what's actually written on their marquee: "NOODI -- THE NOODLE BAR". I go here for lunch on a semi-infrequent basis. The service (the hardest working waitress in Media) is great--attentive, efficient and friendly. The menu is made up of typical thai, indonesian, malaysian and chinese dishes. At lunch they have the standard "app, soup and entree" lunch deal you'll find at every thai place. The apps are great, the soups are great and the entrees are wonderful. It's a real diverse selection and each dish is prepared in a manner that brings out its individual style. The quality is very consistent. I'd give it five stars if they had a more adventurous dinner menu. Regardless, it's hard to do better than Nadia Thai when dining in Media.

I gave the Rt 202 location a try based on a suggestion from a friend, and I am guessing I won't return. The service was attentive, but the food was a weak representation of thai cuisine. The Tom Yung Koong tasted like Mama noodle base, and they had italian basil in there with a ton of sugar! The jungle beef salad was also too sweet, and the toasted rice powder that was sprinkled over the salad was under toasted to the point that it ended up as sharp flavorless pebbles in your mouth. Portions are decent, and BYOB , but the cooking at this location leaves much to be desired, (and I would rarely be that critical about a restaurant) even when considering that most American Thai restaurants are cooking in the Bangkok style, but tailored to farang taste.

Very good restaurant offering dishes from several Asian countries. I had Vietnamese Rolls (Spring Rolls) and Spicy Noodles, and it was more than I could eat. Great flavor, very fresh, healthy and good service. I will go back when traveling in the area again.

pretty good food. great variety of noodles (as the name implies), which is nice to see in a moderately priced restaurant. the best part was that they even had a great selection of food for my picky son!
