Wednesday night, " family " night is a joke. Not worth the price, even with small kids. Hot food is cold, cold food is room temperature. Servers vary the spectrum from decent to inattentive. Prices are high.

Jenn was our server on Friday and we had great experience. I hope they update the YP in Hershey soon. Mad Elf Pints! whooo!

YP is about the lunch buffet. The remainder of the menu is fairly deep, but the entrees they have, I can get done better elsewhere. And the buffet is about the 'boli. The pizza has never been anything to write home about at YP. I don't even know how to describe it ... it just doesn't have a true pizza-like taste. The buffet also has salads, wraps. I leave it all behind. It's the 'boli. It's what has made YP a destination for 40-some years. What makes it different? A lot of it, I think, is the crust. It's buttery, yet crispy. A unique combination. The fillings are simple but effective. If it's a Your Place boli, you know it has that thread of mustard that brings together the sausage, ham and American/mozzarella mixture. Speaking of that cheese mix, it not only tastes good, but the creaminess offsets the crispiness of the crust beautifully. And I've got to question anyone questioning the price of a 'boli when you can go there around lunchtime Monday-Friday or over the dinner hours Wednesday and have ALL of it you want for around $10. I find it silly to pay the usual price for a single, six-piece stromboli when that other option is available. In sum: Stromboli epic. Rest of it mediocre. Total package completely worth it.

I ordered wings from Your Place for take-out. The wings were slightly overpriced at over $10 for 12 wings. Upon opening my container, I noticed that there was little to no sauce on the wings. The wings themselves were soggy and fatty. I could not even come close to finishing them. The only redeeming factor was how friendly the staff was on the phone while ordering and while picking up. Ultimately, I will not be eating there again.

I was really excited about trying out Your Place when they renovated the old Hooter's on the Pike. We ordered take-out once when the late night munchies struck, so I can't comment on the dining experience. As they touted their famous "boli," we ordered that and a couple of uninspiring appetizers. The stromboli was a joke. Nothing but tasteless log of dough, stuffed with a mound of bland (American?) cheese and some deli meats. I've picked up better food from a hot foods case in a gas station. It was also very small for the price. I can't imagine this being their signature item. Needless to say, we haven't returned.

Your place has a lot of memories attached to it. It's been around for ...ummm.... forever and before the chain crap moved into the area between Mech and Carlisle. It's the only place I can get a decent hand tossed thin crust large cut east coast style pizza - you know, the kind you have to fold in half longwise and hang down to degrease before you have your heart attack. Yummy! You locals have no idea how hard it is to find anywhere else. And you miss it when you can't have it. I hadn't been back there since the early 90's when I moved away and when I visited recently my Mom took me to the new place as a surprise. I like their new restaurant. it's nicely refreshed. And more refreshingly, they have kept the taste the same. It's packed because people like it. This is the only place in PA that I know of that puts yellow mustard in their Stromboli's and uses this particular crust (which is fabulous). Fortunately, they now sell their delicious Stromboli's frozen and I was able to carry one down to my brother in DC. He missed them too. Now, if I could only order online.... or get the secret recipe to give to the local pizza place here in Pittsburgh.....

Heard all the ranting about the best stromboli in town... Stopped by the new place, gave it two weeks to tweak out some of the opening jitters. There was a wait when I got there on a Weds night, which I soon find out is due to the $8 buffet. No organization for those waiting, there was a list, though they weren't advertising to get on it. Buffet was crap as were the strombolis. I can't think of one good thing to say about the strombolis. The buffet had salad ingredients, pep and cheese pizza, stromboli, and chicken and noodles. Worth it for the kiddos though at only $2! I tried a bite of the stromboli I picked off the buffet for my daughter. Tasteless...chewy dough...didn't even have an egg wash. We had ordered a stromboli to go and ordered it small since ALL the other places in the area sell a small as huge! The thing was $7.50 and was like a mini sized boli. I ordered the wings which were awful. It was like the sauce was already frozen with the breading...not tossed. Overly salty too. Pizza was less than desirable. Service was awful. The server couldn't answer any questions regarding the menu, nor did he attempt to find the answers. This place is a wreck. Maybe good for those without taste buds looking for a cheap meal. I'd never go back. I do like to leave on a positive note though...the bar looked nice.

I had the crab and corn quesadilla and it was just yucky! It had a stank fishy odor and I was glad it didn't make me sick! My husband had the Stromboli and he was not impressed. The atmosphere was awful. The service was poor and we waited a long time for our nasty food. This was my first time even hearing of this restaurant as I've had the displeasure of living in the area for a long year. Long story short. I'm not eating at this place again.

My trip to Your Place started with a difficult time finding a parking space. It's not like I was in a city where one would expect to have trouble parking....I was in suburban Mechanicsburg. Parking should NOT be an issue. Nice beer selection and I enjoyed a Great Lakes Fitzgerald porter. Things went downhill from here. We ordered a $9 plate of nachos that took a while to arrive and when they did they were burnt!! What chef or cook in their right mind sends out an order that is clearly burnt? The chips were black, some so much so that the whole chip was black and no they were not blue corn chips although the blue corn chips on the plate had a nice edge of black around them. We had to say something to the bartender and they brought us another plate. They were not much better. They had a burnt taste, some we're burnt slightly around the edges, and the beef that was on them was not only old burgers that didn't get used, but it too was burnt. In fairness to the restaurant when we complained a second time they did take them off our bill and offer to make us something else. Your Place should stick to what they know...Stromboli. I guess that's what we get for going to a pizza joint and ordering nachos.

Tried new location: Service was friendly and timely. It is very loud in the restaurant as there are no "soft surfaces" to absorb any of the noise. It was nice to see the restaurant busy! My son and I each ordered a mini boli. His boli was at least 1/3 bigger than mine. I expressed my disappointment to the waitress (I was hoping they'd lower the price instead of charging the full $7.50) - she explained the problem to the manager and they comped my boli. This was a very nice surprise. It sounds as those this is not an uncommon thing to occur. Since stromboli is Your Place's "thing", they really need to get their portion sizes standard. The stromboli was good - the dough was light - a little bit too much mustard for me. It had been a long time since I had a Your Place stromboli but I thought they had more in them other than ham and cheese? We'll go back....

Waited a month before going...service was a JOKE! Our waitress actually left - walked to the gas station - returned - put on her apron - never washed her hands / walked to the bar where my beer had been sitting for 10min or so / use a straw an aggressively agitate it to appear as it was just poured - I was discussed and left ....Stay far far away!!!!!!

This was my first experience eating at any Your Place location. I was not impressed.. Paid $14 dollars for a large Stromboli.. Great taste but incredibly small.. The reason I give this restaurant two stars is based on the rude management.. The manager Dave was yelling at servers on the floor and trying to embarrass them.. Made me feel uncomfortable... And I felt bad for the servers.

Absolutely horrible. For a new restaurant that got to decorate with a clean slate, this place is cold and uninviting. It's no wonder that on a Saturday night it was practically empty. I tried the buffalo dip and the garlic knots, which were both equally disgusting. The "buffalo" dip was nacho cheese sauce with a miniscule amount of buffalo sauce added and grotesque chunks of the most processed chicken I have ever tasted, not to mention stale tortilla chips. The garlic knots also contained some of the most disgusting processed meats as well and i had to ask for marinara sauce which proved to be futile anyway because it just slid off of the grease covered bread. When asking the waitress to split the check down the middle, either she couldn't do the math or couldn't find the option to do so on the posi and just assigned each of us one of the apps which did not result in the bill being split down the middle. The only redeeming aspect of this place is the beer on tap, but you can get that pretty much anywhere these days, so there's really no reason to come here...ever.
