Pizzatown USA Menu

Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. If you're concerned with your high cholesterol, then it is wise to take your friends to Pizza Hut and share pizza among them slice by slice. You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

every time i come back to mechanicsburg, I drop in to get an italian sub here. i don't mean to hype it up, but it's the greatest I've ever had. you just can't get subs in los angeles with this style bread. wish i could get their recipe and bake my own.

Stopped in on our way to Baltimore. Always look for the local shops. These guys are legit. Ordered Stromboli and supreme pizza. Awesome on both accounts. A little bit out of our way but so worth it. If we pass through again we will make a repeat visit nicely done

A place very close to my home, and I did know it was here until I was out for a run and saw it. A small building with an attached lot, just watch the doors, it is a little counterintuitive. I do pickup frequently, and their pizza is very good. Tasty sauce, and so far they have done well with anything I have challenged them with. Their pepperoni rolls are lovely. Service has always been fast and very friendly, they seem to want to under-promise and over-deliver when I have not called ahead and am waiting, or on the few occasions I have eaten at the restaurant. The restaurant itself has been clean when I have been there. Decor is typical of this genre of restaurant, and it is a relatively small place that seems to have many 'regulars'. I might be wrong, but I do not think they deliver. That would be the one thing that would swing me over to having an exclusive relationship for pizza. Next stop in I plan to do something other than pizza. I will update accordingly!

This place is pretty good. We go here for lunch. Friendly guys in there too. I dont know why people are concerned with a reciept for a slice of pizza. Its just a slice of pizza. No need to bring ink and paper into this. The stuffed pizza is good. They get us in and out nice and quick for our short lunch breaks. Def give it a try!

Fresh ingredients, best Pizza you can get in Central PA, they put their souls into everything they make. Delicious subs, large salads, a true step above normal pizza take out, truly authentic Italian food, A must for all.

Updating to 3 stars because they actually brought the food out on time and I didn't have to demand a refund.

Easily the best New York-style slice on the West Shore. My other favorite dish is the chicken cheesesteak hoagie, a sandwich I've yet to find anywhere else. All the subs are good, though; Pizzatown makes its own (very tasty) bread. One disclaimer: about five years ago, Pizzatown switched from a counter-served model to a hybrid model: counter service for take out, waiter service for sit-in dining. If you want to eat there, you'll need to figure in a larger tip. But the food is inexpensive and well worth the extra cash.

Never had a problem at Pizzatown. The pizza is very good, but their dinner options aren't to be overlooked either. $7 can get you a pasta dish with a side salad (good) and bread sticks (mediocre and heavily buttered). There is also the bonus, that if you order a bunch of dinner items, they'll stick it all in an easy to carry cardboard box, so you aren't juggling a dozen bags and containers.

This place is great. Both for subs and pizzas. They use pizza crust style rolls for their subs and they are fantastic. I've had Italian and Turkey subs and have never been disappointed. Thier pizza is very good as well. I have always been extremely pleased with any take out I've ordered and when I'm in town I'll try to get something from them. I'll always talk this place up because they have proven time and again to make some solid subs and pizza.

Not bad subs and pretty decent pizza. Got a ham and cheese and it had some good flavor to it. I suppose I've just been spoiled by Papa Johns sweeter crust. The sub was alright, but the bread seemed a little chewy, again, maybe I am just spoiled by subway's soft bread.:) Oh well, the taste of the food was good and with it being right down the road I should come here more often on my lunch breaks.

My favorite local pizza joint around Mechanicsburg, this Pizzatown location serves up fantastic subs at really modest prices. Service is always great here and it's always busy with loyal customers. Pizza is also very good.

We've been once before when it was fine, but were very disappointed today when our friends all received their orders, and ours was nowhere in sight. After 45 minutes of waiting patiently, we started to wonder where our food was. When my husband checked, the girl said the order didn't go through, and said it would be out shortly. It did not arrive shortly. Instead, they seemed to mangle our order even further by doubling my lasagna order, but insisting that it wasn't mine because I didn't order two lasagnas. No one else was claiming it, so clearly it was my order, just botched. He took it back to the kitchen. I decided I'd had enough, and didn't want to have him scrape one off the plate and come back out to offer it to me. We went back to the counter and requested a refund. The owner/manager proceeded to tell us, in an agitated voice, that our food had been ready and waiting and that he'd been saying it was ready. How were we supposed to know, when it was never brought out to us? It's not like they holler the orders out from the counter - they bring the plates out and walk through the dining room saying what the order they're carrying is. We would have noticed if they had come around with our order. He was irritated to give the refund and didn't offer to give us the food that was "ready," for free. Did he honestly think we were going to say, "Great! It's ready!" and sit down and not ask for a refund? MickyD's is across the street if you need a backup plan.
