Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

I've only had their Chinese food so far, but it's perfect except they use a very chewy cut of beef and don't use real crab. Otherwise, it's fresh and tasty.

Our friends brought us here for lunch. Their beef stew with noodle was very very yummy! the chinese broccoli was fresh & well made. The flavor was "spot-on". Our friends love the steamed pork bun (it smelled realloy good), and we had their shu mei was very very tasty!!! The waitress was friendly and recommended fresh items off their menu. We really liked it & super surprised that something so authentic exists out here =)

They don't serve Chinatown-quality dimsum but this place gives my husband and me our dimsum fix when we don't feel like driving all the way to Philly. Very friendly staff too.

Modest place but good dim sum and Chinese food. Some portions are small, others are large. Make sure you get the size you want.

Hong Kong Dim Sum Experience? Yeah I think not.... Granted there is not even a small Chinese community out here but the Dim Sum here is nowhere near Hong Kong quality nor is there any competition for a baseline of what real Dim Sum is. I am not afraid to admit that I'm fairly Americanized as I was born here and had a different upbringing than most Chinese people. My parents having owned a restaurant for a number of years has taught me what good quality chinese food is. This place is not it. The Dim Sum was fairly bland and lacked much of any selection. The worst part of this excursion was the fact that some of the stuff was pre-frozen and steamed back up. What gives it away is how mushy the wrapper is on the Shui Mai and on the Ha Gow. I'm not one to bash on an establishment but this place is not a good representation of Dim Sum.

Good dimsum place and good noodle soup place! Beef stew soup was very good ! Very good service! Cooks and our waiter gave us good experience normally lack in a chinese restaurant, which is good service. We got good food and service in this dimsum place... We will be back!!

Great place for Dim Sum and the hot tea is included in the meal. I also like the free noodle chips. Those are always a bonus when dining out for Chinese. Can't wait to get back for more!

Best Chinese food in Central PA. Also the *only* dim sum place in the area. (Menu dim sum, not tea cart, but still quite good.) I love the shrimp-stuffed eggplant. The salt & pepper squid is great, & we love the dry chow fan (wide, flat rice noodle).

I took my family back to China Tea House today for the first time since 3 years ago. They are the only restaurant I know in the area that use the egg noodle (instead of lo mein noodle) for the pan-fried noodle dishes. And it is probably the only restaurant where you can order traditional Dim Sum items. I can see the restaurant makes a good effort to cater to all clienteles. The traditional American-Chinese takeout menus such as egg foo yang for the locals, the smoothies for the young adults, dim sum and noodle soups for Asians. As a result, it felt really strange looking through the menu. Even their serving style is odd. You go to the counter to order food. The cashier doubles up as waitress and brings you the food. When you're done, you leave the dishes on the table (as opposed to busing yourself as in food court), and go pay the cashier. So it leaves one perplexed as to how much to tip. I'd love to give this restaurant 4 stars for offering some authentic Chinese dishes, but I was disappointed with their execution: The fried rice for the Sweet and Sour Chicken (for my American born son) was not cooked through and had that hard, starchy, core. The noodle in the Beef Chow Fun was also too al dante, some part was harder than desired. The Hot and Sour Noodle soup was the only dish that was more up to par. The dim sum looks quite reasonably priced. Looking at the adjacent table, the Pan-Fried Chive Cakes were much larger than usual, and the Bamboo Sheet Rolls looked quite nice. Next time we'll definitely give their dim sum a try.

This is one of our "go to" places when we are visiting the area. They do a booming take -out business too. We go mainly for the soups and vegetable dishes and the salt and pepper squid. You can count on fresh ingredients nicely prepared and presented.

food was OK. the dim sum was OK, since it was off the menu I wasn't really expecting It to be good. my son wanted the pots tickers or dumplings and he had a hard time eating them because they definitely tasted frozen and like they were just microwaved . I had the dry beef chow fun which was alright. comparably to home I'll give it 3 stars.(Philadelphia chinatown) the hubby had the beef noodle soup . he said was good but the beef looked not cooked all the way so he didn't really eat the beef. overall, the experience was OK. I wouldn't go back again though.

I was a little disappointed at the dim sum experiences. Not what I expected from most of the reviews I read. The place looks like your typical Chinese take out place. I was surprise that they even offer dim sum experiences. On the flyer, it says that you should experience a Hong Kong dim sum experiences. Nope, not even closed. However, I can see what they tried to do to give you that experiences, but it isn't. even closed. Dim Sum experiences is usually offered in a restaurant, not dinning out, usually at lunch during a busy time. So that the food made fresh. The servers come with a cart and you pick food from it. Is like an endless buffet where you paid for each plate and the food come to you. So it can be expensive. Anyway, the dim sum experiences was disappointed. We got serve like we just ordered the food like in a normal restaurant. The dim sum was fresh. However, I didn't like that the dim sum was made in the same steamer. The food tasted had a blend from the other food. Giving it, this weird taste that was quite noticeable. Food was not as good as I expected. It tasted like your usual western Chinese dining out restaurant. Probably won't come back just because it didn't stand out to me. I feel that I could get the food taste from any Chinese dining out restaurant.

This place is a real Chinese restaurant that passed my standard. They served a good food and fresh all the time. I love Chinese broccoli with oyster sauce, steamed pork or something in bamboo sheet, fried noodle with seafood and etc. I was here so many times and try to order something new but always ordered most the same ;) Servers were very friendly and inside atmosphere was ok. Sometime I wait for a food a little bit long because of they have a lot of take out order. Don't forget to order beef on the stick also, smell very good.

Went in for some dim sum on a Sunday afternoon since its the only place I know of that serves it around the Harrisburg area. It honestly wasn't too bad at all. You obviously don't get the Chinatown experience like you do in NY, but they do offer the basic dim sum fare such as beef tripe, spare ribs in a bean sauce, turnip cakes, and chive cakes. Again it wasn't the best since I'm used to Chinatown dim sum, but its definitely a good fix for my cravings. The place seems very clean as well. I will definitely return!

My wife and I dinned at this place with some friends the other night. At first glance it looks like a typical Chinese take out place with a counter and a few tables for those who want to eat there. To the right, there is a small dining room with two large round tables that can accommodate parties of 10 and then there are a few 4 tops. The decor is aged but never the less it has its appeal. The menu was pretty extensive and offered a wide variety of entrees, soups and dim sum. I ordered the HK Style wonton soup, pork and vegetable dumplings, shrimp stuffed dumplings, the chicken with black bean sauce combo and the spicy beef combo. The combos come with fried rice and an egg roll. The soup was good. The broth tasted the same as I have had it at other places. It had bok choy, egg noodles and wontons. As always it tastes better when I add a lot of hot sauce! The dim sum was good and the egg rolls were your typical cabbage filled egg rolls that are usually tasteless until you add hot mustard or duck sauce. As for the entrees, my wife liked her chicken with black bean sauce so that's good since there were not complaints. As for me, my spicy beef was more sweet than spicy. I hate to say it but this dish didn't really do it for me. I had to add more hot sauce to make it a little spicier. Overall, the food was good and the company was excellent. If you are in the mood for some dim sum and Chinese food at a reasonable price, give this place a try. The combo portions are large enough to fill most anyone's appetite and the price for these are reasonable and fair. Thanks for reading my review. This review is based on my personal opinion and experience.

Stopped in for a dim sum snack, as I was nearby and don't go to Mechanicsburg often. The stuffed eggplant was very good. The shrimp dumplings were excellent, as usual. What blew me away was the sticky rice. I never ordered it before because most places fill it with crappy, greasy ground pork. Here it had spiced ground pork, Chinese sausage, BBQ pork and chicken! Much better than any sticky rice I've had elsewhere.

Great food, fast but hesitates to take Amex for the traveller types. Otherwise after 3 visits, still good food. Will return. Excellent hot and sour soup too!

:::BEWARE::: Their cleanliness is poor, this is the 3rd time I found something in my food! First was the SOS scrubbing metal piece, then there was a fruit fly in my soup, and this last time was hair in my food!! I refuse to eat from a place that continues to operate like this! Their customer service sucks too!!

Very high quality Hong Kong style chinese food. Portions were very generous, and prices were not too high. All of the food was made with care and delicious. Would certainly return.

We've eaten here twice (so far) on this trip and have loved the food both times. The ingredients are fresh and the dishes are very well prepared. This is a very fine Chinese restaurant. Outstanding food and Dim Sum. They have a banner on the wall that they were named one of the "Top 100 Chinese Restaurants in America". I don't know who awards that, and I'd like to audit what that's about... The food is very good, but I don't know if I'd go quite that far.

This is our go to place for chinese food in this area. We're originally from NYC and we have high standards for food in general but also know the difference between good and bad chinese food. This place looks shady and the ambience is horrible. However, the food is authentic and good. We have brought our chinese friends from out of town here and they were pleased. The prices are reasonable and the service is fast and friendly. If you're craving chinese, this is the place to go. FYI, their smoothies are really good too.
