I can't believe no one has written a review of this establishment. So I guess I'll be the first. I used to come here a moderate amount while living in the city of Meadville back in 2008. Since moving away, I still come back here on occasion to see family and friends and will return, on occasion, to Mickey's for a beer and a bite to eat. Mickey's offers your standard bar fare - wings, sammiches, and fried foods. They also offer a salad bar at certain times and have the best cream of mushroom soup I've tasted at a restaurant. No kidding. It's good - try it on a cold, snowy day. There's a lot of those kind of days in Meadville. The wing choices are good, though I'd probably venture down the street to Chipper's if you're looking for a wider wing variety. Mickey's has your standard Pennsylvania small town bar beer selection including Yuengling (duh) and also offers the sale of six packs for those not wanting to drink at the bar. The wait staff is friendly. The place is usually packed on the weekends and also after sporting events. For late nighters, there's also a 2nd floor that opens up with a large dancefloor and bar. If you come here after the annual Halloween Parade, don't expect to be able to move - the place is typically packed. Having since moved away, I'm always pleasantly surprised at how cheap it is to come back here for some beers and food and not walk away with a huge bill.

In from Fort Lauderdale and I stopped in to this place for some lunch with friends I haven't seen in years. They had the best pulled chicken sandwich I've had in a long time. The next day I ordered their chicken wings and they were quickly devoured. The atmosphere here is great and inviting. I'm not usually a bar or a pub food kind of guy, but my two friends told me I had to try this place and I'm glad I did. It is apparent that the management and ownership take customer service and food serious. When ever I come back to Meadville again, this is a place I am sure that I will eat at again. Do yourself a favor and take a visit. You won't be disappointed.

Here from KY for work. Was recommended by a guy at my job site. Server -adorable and did a great job Tomato basil soup - freaking amazing!!! Blueberry Martin - yum and had some alcohol in it (bonus lol) Steak - cooked to perfection Good luck to you guys! Hope your new restaurant is a smashing success!

Stopped in on a Sunday for lunch. Good deals on food and drink for Sunday Fun Day. Great food and service. Food was very well presented, tasted great. Nice atmosphere.

I walked in expecting this place to be more like a restaurant and less like a bar because of the hours of operation but it was definitely more like a bar! I did eat here twice because the food is very good compared to other bars. I had wings both times and they were huge wings priced at tiny average wing prices! Would have been 4 stars but both times I entered the building the waitresses/bar staff just stared at me and I had to ask if I needed to be seated. Also saw other patrons wandering around confused if they weren't regulars.

Being from Miami Florida, where we have amazing restaurants I was very impressed with my salad of fresh salmon on a bed of spinach here at Mickeys fire station. The salmon was cooked perfectly. This was such a nice surprise. Will go back again next time I visit relatives in my home town.

Old fire station turned restaurant/bar? Yes!! I am a fan. Huge menu, tasty sounding chicken wing sauces...Honey/A-1, yes mam!! Dry Cajun? MMM. House's Bourbon, shut up!! The hand formed burgers were amazing and the 6 pack room was very interesting. If Kris is working you are in for a treat.

Being housed in an old fire station is a pretty nice touch, but in general, Mickey's is a fun place... or really, two places. There is the bar upstairs, which is your typical, fun Meadville dive and then there is the more family-friendly restaurant area downstairs. I've always enjoyed my experiences here and they have some pretty tasty hot wings also - and they actually do have a real nice burn to them, unlike most hot wings.

This bar is just kinda crappy. I have never eaten here so this review by no means reflects the quality of food. But on to the bar. Mickey's is actually two bars in one. Downstairs is small, bright, and non smoking. There are three TV's but they are either too small or not positioned correctly to watch a game. The crowd seems to be mostly older (35+) and a bit of a country vibe. The beers on tap are not impressive and bottles of IC Light are $2.50 (come on Mickey's this egregious up-charge on a local mediocre beer is ridiculous, in Pittsburgh this brew is rarely more than $1.50) Upstairs is just plain humorous. They are trying to bring some sort of dance club vibe, except nobody dances and the DJ's are mediocre at best. You are allowed to smoke up here though, and since it seems like most everyone in Crawford County smokes upstairs fills up for this reason only. The staff at Mickey's is really nice and they deserve credit for that.
