Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

High Cholesterol at Pizza Hut

Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. If you're concerned with your high cholesterol, then it is wise to take your friends to Pizza Hut and share pizza among them slice by slice. You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

THE LEVITTOWN PIZZA PLACE. NO QUESTIONS ASKED. I've been coming here for 10+ years and everything is great. Staff is so friendly and this is a great local business. Good for groups, quick eats, and pizza! Cheese fries and plain pizza are fabulous.

Delicious pizza, friendly staff & family owned. Love coming here. It's packed on Friday nights tho cause after a long week ain't nobody cooking, haha, and Pizza Star makes amazing pizza. Brutal parking situation though, know that. Lots of travel flying by on Woerner Ave while u try to get in n out of your spot safely. Park either across the street in the Acme parking lot or in the "church" bldg next to it. It'll be worth it though!

Late night order got a pizza and bunch of wings. pizza was really good and hit the spot. Wings not bad but even my wife thought they were not hot at all. Price was good next time maybe it will be pizza and a steak.

Best pizza in Levittown... I always get the Sicilian pie. It makes me happy.

  • Mark D.

Worst Sicilian pizza I have ever had in my life. The crust was flat but not over-cooked. Normally Sicilian has some dough in it and is not flat. Clearly they removed the dough from the refrigeration and did not let it rise properly before using it, which is why it was flat and tasteless. The top of the pie was a gelottenous pool of canned sauce with simulated motzerella cheese. It tasted just like it sounds. Simply stated, it was rushed and sloppy. It don't have to be that way.

A Levittown classic, nothing like a cheesesteak from Pizza Star

I have lived across the street from Pizza Star for 12+yrs and never knew it was there. After seeing reviews on YELP I had to try it. It was everything I read. The pizza was really good and the price was great as well. But to top it off the staff were amazing. So friendly and ready to take care of you the minute you come in the door. Smiles all the way. We have made this our go to place for Friday night pizza. After 5 times going service and pizza still great! I haven't tried anything else as of yet so I can only talk of the pizza and staff! Love it!

Being new to the area again after 15 years I expected another pizza that would just fed to my dogs because it stunk BUTTTT was I ever surprised!!! IT WAS DELICIOUS!! It is 4 blocks away and I will be ordering there a lot. B E S T. P I Z Z A. A R O U ND. !!!!

They have decent plain thin crust pizza. They have been in business for decades so there is something to be said about this restaurant--they have to be doing something right after all! When coming here you see a lot of the same employees, and it is clearly a family run business. The inside eating area is a bit on the smaller side but convenient if you want to come here for a quick bite to eat. As of now, their pizza slices are pretty cheap compared to other places around Levittown. They also have a smaller selection of other food options, but they are of a lot better quality then some other places I have been to. Last but not least, it's very nice to see a family-run business open 7 days a week that serves good food in Levittown!

  • Lauren M.

Their sicilian pizza is to die for and I also love their cheese steaks! They have a different crust on their pies than most pizza places in Levittown and it's very good in my opinion.

What can I say I'm a fan. The pizza is outstanding and the service is patient and friendly. Damn I wish they would join Grub Hub and start to deliver.

I've been coming here for 20 years. Best pizza in the area, and there are a number of good ones. Great guys in there too. I can't vouch for anything else, because all I ever eat is the pizza :)

Best Pizza Ever! You have to try the white garlic pizza with broccoli and tomatoes. A slice of heaven

Hands down, best pizza in Lower Bucks County. Absolutely incredible. The sauce is delicious, service unbeatable, and super fast. Going on about 12 years now, and we keep going back. Couldn't recommend more to anyone in the area.

For mushroom pizza, the canned mushrooms are often lukewarm & the water renders all over the cheese of the pizza. When ordering sausage pizza, the sausage isn't the typical crumbly, ground-up kind (deliciously greasy with emphasis on fennel seed) but a dry, less flavorful chipped version (like dry chipped beef, if you will). Yet another flaw, is more often that not, the bottom of the crust will be burnt either due to a faulty oven or the workers juggling through orders from their many customers. Although my review focuses on their flaws, there isn't much else to complain about-- When done right, everything tastes great and they have a near cult-status among locals for a reason.

Been using yelp for a few weeks to find the best pizza and wings around Levittown and I believe I found it here. Everything I've order is the best. so far I've ordered wings - big, nice and juicy, a chicken parm sandwich and a cheese steak hoagie and are the best around, a pizza with half bacon, really good dough, sauce and cheese and the bacon was nice and crispy. I don't know what the people are on who gave this place less then 5 stars but they shouldn't be able to write reviews

Would give Pizza Star 10 stars if I could. The nicest guys around serving the best pizza, hands down. Red and white pizzas are both delicious, and I personally love that the sausage is disks and not crumbles. And they're fast! Ten minutes and you're eating the best pizza in the area.

  • Alicia O.

Pizza Star is so bad it's good sometimes. Their slices are perfect, but if you order a whole pizza, be prepared for a greasy, sloppy mess. The cheese never stays put and slides all over the place by the time you get it home. It's a mess, but a good mess. Nothing too special about their sandwiches and salads. Their prices are reasonable and they're also open late (till midnight, I think) which is a plus.

  • Ralph C.

The other review is terrible. The Pizza at Pizza Star is greasy if you have Pepperoni on it, obviously! I have been getting Pizza here for years. Pizza Star is easily the best Pizza joint around this area. I have only gotten compliments from guests whenever I order from there. I cannot speak for their sandwiches, or Sicilian, but as a Large pie or a Calzone goes, this place is the best.
