The New Madison Restaurant sits in an old strip of stores on Vets Highway in Levittown. It is one of several around this part of Bucks County, developed to bring commercial opportunity and convenience to the new "suburbs" being created by Mr. Levitt. As such it is living history. Madison sits in the middle of all this 70 year old Americana. Its interior is in the luncheonette style food dispensary, which adds to its authenticity and comfort. It feels like you could easily sit down with your parents and grandparents at one of the booths for a $.75 meal. Alone, I chose the old fashioned counter where I could alternate between eating, reading and chatting with the staff. Here, that is a special pleasure because all the women were warm and attractive. Christine served me with a smile and friendly banter as sweet as the syrup on my French Toast. Lori was equally engaging, and betrothed to Dean, the owner. I met him when he sat down at the counter to chat with another customer. Cool dude. My breakfast was solid. The coffee flowed freely, and the FT was made of "Texas Toast," well egged and grilled. Even the Turkey Sausage was more than expected (4 links) and good tasting. I asked for a drop of Vanilla in the egg mix, but there was none in the kitchen. Regardless, it still was very good. Rumor has it that New Madison may have a sibling in Langhorne soon. Stay tuned for an important announcement. I am saving the 5th Star for credit card convenience.

This Restaurant is on Veterans Highway. In alittle strip mall. Yes if you are not from the area might be alittle tuff to find. When I walked in was told by one of the nice lady's to sit anywhere I like. After sitting. You could not miss all the 8×10 pictures in frames. of ppl that been in hear over the years. I find this place diffrent then other restaurants. The menu could be updated alittle. Is alot of breakfast to choose from. When you pick from the specials they go by numbers, makes it easier. They are only open till 2:30pm kinda of a bummer. Over all my breakfast was okay. Wouldn't say it was the best but average. Had eggs, bacon, home fries, toast and coffee. And what I notice is what other Restaurants don't do that this one does is they bring the ketchup out with the arrival with your breakfast and notice they refrigerate the ketchup. Service was great had no complaints. Would I come back again most likely.

This place is a little gem of a restaurant. My husband and I go here for breakfast and lunch on the weekends as often as possible. The wait staff is friendly and knows us by name, the food is always good. They have the best omelettes around. There are pictures all over the walls of their customers. It really has a small town feel to it.

My husband and I love this place. It was recommended by a friend and has now become our weekend staple. We have had breakfast and lunch so far and have not been disappointed. We ended up trying the potato salad by accident (didn't know it came as a side) and it was fabulous. Their French fries are also out of this world. Some might say that the décor needs updating but I think that adds to the charm. I believe it is owned by a husband and wife who have both been working almost every time we have been in there. The wife serves tables and has always provided excellent service. Agreeing with some of the other comments, if you live in the area you probably drove by a million times and didn't know it was there but you should make it a point to find it and try it out!

Got eggs, french toast, and hot sausage links. Eggs good and fresh. french toast standard for a good diner. hot sausage links just regular sausage links with hot sauce on them, I would have ordered another meat if I knew that is what I was going to get. The person with me got creamed chipped beef in a bread bowl and hash browns. I did not try the Creamed Chipped Beef but she said "it was good" but the bread bowl seemed toasted. I did try the hash browns tasted good made me wish my meal came with some. Service we walked in and was told to sit anywhere I think maybe 2 booth, table, & a table/booth were open. Once we sat we were offered coffee and menus quickly, after that wait not over long but long enough to notice, however that was quickly made up with the speed of our food coming out. They came to check on the food and our drinks a few times but not pushy. as of this review it was cash only.

This place is great! My boyfriend is the one first brought me here. We like to go for breakfast. They give you nice big portions. They cook great food. It's one of the few places I really enjoy the home fries. They have scrapple and they cook it just right. When I'm coming for the lunch side of the menu I love to get their chicken cheese steaks. They use real chicken breast and they chop it up. Fries are good too. Always hot and crunchy. No mushy fries here! Service is always quick and friendly. But make sure to come before 2! They're only open for breakfast and lunch.

As a rule I avoid the northeastern United states. That being said, it was a great surprise to find a great, nay, incredible little diner while I am up here. This it's the second chance I have had to come here and looked forward to my breakfast. The pretty girls waiting on the customers is just a bonus. The service is quick and friendly. The food is cooked perfectly. I will try to never come to this party of the country again but, if I do, I will visit this great little place again.

Cash only, but a great hole in the wall diner. Try the Eggs Benedict. They won't disappoint. Great service. Great food. We'll be back!

This is our all time favorite breakfast place!!!! Excellent service and awesome food! We have been coming here for over 20 years and it has always been consistent! I highly recommend this restaurant!!!!!

Pricey, Inconsistent, limited hours open. First time I ordered take out i was happy with what i got, the next time I ordered my portion was 1/3 of the size. The locals seem to love it, and its usually packed with a much older generation.

while this is a small family diner, the food is quite good but the booths are quite small but the portions are quite large, the place is small and someone in a wheelchair might have issues getting in and out of the restaurant, otherwise t's a great little place to eat
