You come here for breakfast items, you cannot go wrong. Coffee could be stronger. Very attentive waiters. Not busy on a Sunday early evening.Odd layout, several cubicle rooms to dine in. My first time here, I will return!

Went in on a Sunday morning for breakfast. Waited about 10 mins to be seated and another 10 to order, however as busy as it was, not that bad. Our waitress was very polite, and had several tables, so she let us order drinks and food first thing. About 20 mins for our food to come out, which was good. I had French toast platter, great with eggs and bacon! Coffee carafes are a great touch, coffee at my finger tips, and was still hot every time I filled up.

9 times out of 10, I'd say that this is a fantastic Perkins. Every once in a while you end up with less than stellar service or food, but it's really a rare occasion. Most times, the food is tasty and the service is friendly and attentive. Their breakfasts are delicious, as are their salads. Over the years, they have kept changing what they offer in way of salads -- my all-time favorite dish is the Bread Bowl, and sometimes they have the bread, and sometimes they don't. But when they do, it's wonderful. They also have one of the best ranch dressings in town, which is a huge plus! The restaurant itself is always kept clean, and it's big enough that there's never really a terrible wait. Overall, great place!

"Family restaurants" aren't my thing. Getting up for breakfast, in fact, is not my thing. But Perkins is the exception to my rule. Their breakfasts are not only well-executed and delicious, you will not walk away hungry. Their country sausage biscuit platter with cream gravy is memorable. Huge omelets with plenty of options. Entrees are only slightly less special. And you know what? If I'm going to Perkins, it's probably not for a dinner entree anyway. But I did have a chipotle burger, and it wasn't bad at all. And of course, if you have room, it's a bakery too. And the desserts are just unbelievable. I had their fudge brownie supreme, and it surpassed any hot-fudge sundae I've ever had. The hot fudge soaks into the brownie, which is beneath a healthy scoop of vamilla. By the time you get to the brownie, the hot fudge has it softened, and, well ... you don't get much better than that.

I thought I wanted desert. Then breakfast for dinner sounded like the best idea ever. I got the Belgian waffle combo with sausage and hard poached eggs. The waffle with syrup and butter was perfect for desert in my opinion. The eggs were poached just how I like them and I got to try their chicken and apple sausage! For lunch we all inhaled beer and food from Troeg's... so some healthy options seemed like a good idea...err... until I drenched my waffle in syrup. Oh well... I'm on vacation. I wanted to point out that our waitress, Mary, was exceptionally attentive and very nice. She made sure that we were okay and brought over carafes of coffee without us knowing. The customer service at Perkins is awesome and will return whenever I am in the area. Happy New Year!!

Although I love diners and love breakfast, I HATE this Perkins. The staff couldn't care less about customer service. The bacon was soggy and didn't seem cooked enough. We couldn't get any refills on drinks. No one came back to check on us. I guess you get what you pay for.

Salad was good. Service was great. Fish and fries was mediocre and a bit mushy. Shrimp was as good as budget conscious meals can get and the breakfast items were excellent. Exactly what was expected of Perkins. Breakfast is their specialty and I would definitely order breakfast from there again!

Took my Family of 8 that day to Dinner after seeing my daughters choral recital for Mothers Day. I was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. Service was acceptable. Food was good in that family restaurant, home cooked kind of way. My only issue was my fresh vegetable medley, was a bit slim and not that fresh and dry. Kinda a big deal for me. At least they weren't over cooked. I hate that. But, they were dry, like left under the heat lamp too long. The bill was the killer though. Only $105 for a family of 8. I was expecting way more. So, I'd do it again. Maybe the veggies was a fluke..

I just had the Mediterranean omelet. Probably the best omelet in my life. Seriously. And I almost never say that about chain restaurants. Had it with hash browns (perfectly crispy) and fruit (very fresh). The combo of thin eggs, spinach, sun dried tomato, feta, and hollandaise sauce was amazing. I think paying over $5 for a restaurant breakfast is a rip but this was worth every penny of the $9.29. I am ready to have another one. Service was nice and efficient. Manager checked in twice and appeared genuinely interested to know about our experience.

I usually do my Sunday breakfast here. They have wide verity of food items to choose, I love their food and more on its cheap to eat here, hint if you have AAA, they do AAA discounts 10% off. Their service is usually hit or miss, to the most part it's bad when it comes to service. I would definitely visit this place.

Perkins make a great breakfast. You can always get a breakfast item.been there at dinner also they have a good rounded menu. Staff are always friendly and the place is always clean. Not one of your mainstream major highway always busy Perkin's. This is a quieter more relaxed ambiance.

We held a mini-45th High School reunion today over breakfast at the Lemoyne Perkins with my wife and 3 of her friends that she had not seen in 40+ years. Had a great time and the food was surprisingly pretty good. Note - I would say that my expectations were low, but Perkins exceeded them. Perkins is clearly targeted to non-gourmet middle Americans. The food is well prepared and tasty. Nothing to get too exciting about and certainly "non-ethnic". It's your basic "really good diner" food. They also have a bakery with pies and other tasty looking treats (we didn't try those so we can't opine). 2 of our party had eggs and breakfast sausage which were well prepared and flavorful. 3 of us had the Potato Pancakes. They were tasty but not Latkes - but pancakes made of finely shredded potato and onion in an egg and flour batter. More Pancake with potato than Latke. One tipoff that they were not Latkes was the dish came with 3 strips of nicely cooked (crispy) Bacon ;-) Overall the food and service was very good (even if the waitress didn't know what a Latke was.). Note - my individual rating scale is from bottom to top: basura (garbage, an F), barely edible (D), OK (C), good (B), very good(B+), excellent (A-), outstanding (A), and fantastic (A+).

I walked in during dinner and ordered take out. The restaurant was semi-filled, but did not seem too busy. 25 minutes later my sandwich was ready. The hostess was friendly and chatted with me while I waited, but I thought it was a little long of a wait for a sandwich. The sandwich itself was drenched in butter, there was actually a pool of it in the box and the bun was soaked. Now, if I was Paula Dean I'd be having a butter-gasm, but unfortunately I'm trying to keep my arteries semi-cleared, so the extra butter did not send me into orbit. Overall it was an average meal- which was pretty much what I expected when I went there.
