Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

I've had mission style burritos all over the country. Neato is a good one and about average in price compared to similar burrito joints. I enjoy the quirky grass-roots feel to their locations. Their meat choices are a bit limited, and if i could improve one thing it would be this item. There's chicken and buffalo. I think they tried flank out for bit, but that may have fizzled. The rice is good, with BBQ being my favorite. The rest of the ingredients are fresh and good, with the variety of salsas day to day being their strength. Also, cucumbers and jalapenos are a nice option at the end of the line. With that said, neato is a great place to stuff yourself for less than $10. Better than Moes, Baja Fresh, and Quedoba. And the best news is the Harrisburg area is getting more choices with a Chipotle opening up on Jonestown Rd. in August. More choices=consumers win!

Love this place, love the food. This location is not quite as cool as their New Cumberland branch, but very hip place. As mentioned in another review customize to your taste, they have a Salsa of the day and it's different depending on the day of the week. Their website lists the info. neatoburrito.com . I love the jalapeo feta, so those are the days I tend to go out. All locations have the same food quality which I love. I have eaten at 3 of the 4. New Cumberland is the best decor however in my opinion. Portions are huge, unless you are a hefty eater plan on leftovers, or at least being extremely stuffed. You can also fax in orders using the fax form on their website, great for pick-up orders when you have a bit of a drive. Must try this place at least once if nothing more for the awesome dcor, but the food rocks too.
(4)Maura G.
Their Cowboy Crunch is the best invention in the history of burritos. I love it.
(4)Kristine F.
Yummy huge burritos! I love that you get to watch your food being made. They have a few locations. 2 in Harrisburg, New Cumberland and Lemoyne. Possibly more but those are the 4 I know about.
(4)Jeff S.
overpriced but delicious. try the special salsas.
(4)Kim G.
Same review as the other locations, cause the food is the same. This location was my favorite though, just cause I came like every week. And while it is not the most flashy of the bunch, I think it has the best atmophere. I ate at neato all through college, and every burrito place since has failed to live up to its standards. You pick everything from the tortilla, to the meat, veggies, sauce, cheese, rice, etc. You move down the line like at subway. And the burrito is ginormous.
(5)Steven S.
I am pretty sure I lived a strict Neato Burrito diet for several years while living in PA. Fresh ingredients assembled right in front of you into a glorious meal, that can be consumed for breakfast, lunch, dinner and even dessert. I have been even known to eat two in one sitting. Neato goes perfect with a troegs beer.

Good but expensive for this texmex place. Only takes cash.

Visited a few sundays ago after seeing a friends band play in the area. Having been out of the loop for a few years, I have to say the burritos are HUGE! We enjoyed the cowboy crunch burger: cajun chicken, crushed nacho chips, bbq rice, refried beans smothered in a ranch dressing wrapped in a flour tortilla (6.75) and the neato burrito (7.00) this location has a retro interior, with all sorts of advertisements from the 60's and 70's. Staff seemed friendly enough, there were two workers in the back and one waiting on us making the burritos. Ample outside parking, takes cash, visa & mastercard.

I had a pretty decent burrito here this past weekend. I was starving and looking for something quick and cheap and this fit the bill. For $5.50 I got the vegetarian burrito with a honey whole wheat wrap, yum. I think I was charged extra for guacamole which was not mentioned when asked if I wanted sour cream or guacamole. The size is huge but when you think about it, everything inside costs next to nothing- white rice, black beans, shredded iceburg lettuce, onions, etc. Overall though I liked this place, especially since you get to see exactly how your meal was assembled. The staff were really friendly. The place closes early, even on the weekends.
(4)Keidi K.
Awesome burritosss like I am totally hooked on these.
(5)Crazy D.
The best burrito in the world. Hands down. I live in NYC and I'm always on the hunt for a place that is at least close to to Neato's awesomnes but I've never even come close. A couple of years ago my buddies and I jumped in the car in Jackson Heights, Queens and drove the 4 hour, 200 mile trip to score some simply because we NEEDED it. After eating we promptly drove 4 hours back home again. Yes the burritos are that good. Staff is always very friendly. Love this place!

I must confess I am a Neato Burrito junkie. This location is close to my house, convenient, quick, and consistently good. The staff are generally friendly and efficient and can manage to process the long lines of people during peak hours. The decor is really nice too. I typically order the cowboy crunch burrito in a chipotle chili tortilla. I have them make it special for me because I like to be a pain in the butt. I get it with half chili beans and half refried and have them skip the barbecue sauce in favor of some salsa, hot sauce, or both. My only complaint about this place, and the reason it does not receive my five star rating, is that they do not have ground beef. I like ground beef burritos, so I have to go to El Rodeo for that, but come one. The Angus beef is good as well, but it's not the same. Oh well. Can't have everything, but this place never disappoints.
(4)Ryan O.
Classic burrito place with a twist. They have a variety of different wraps, types of rices, burritos of the day and they can grill your burrito. The burritos are HUGE too.
(4)Anthony S.
Wow, this was disappointing on so many levels. Yes, I am a northeastern-boy -- born-and-raised near Syracuse, NY; so please do not think I am 'taking any shots' at my beloved northeast U.S. With that said, I did live in San Antonio, TX for three years, so the bar is set pretty-high. Now, with that also said, this place is just not good. I ate here on 3/29 because I love a good burrito every-now-and-then. This place simply does not stack-up to what I am used to. Food: I ordered a burrito (regular tortilla), with beef, nacho cheese, brown rice, refried beans, pico de gallo salsa, jalapenos, and guacamole. Lastly, for dessert, I grabbed one of their Vanilla-Bourbon Brownies for $2.50. There was not one component in this burrito that I can put in the 'good column'. Now, that doesn't necessarily mean that it was 'bad'. Just read below... Beef: Although I am a fan of traditional 'steak' in my burrito, I also like the slow-cooked shredded beef as well. Unfortunately, this beef was bland. It was tender, it was juicy; but it had absolutely no flavor. No bold-Mexican spices or flavorings that you would expect to burst from every bite. Super-disappointing. (2/5) Nacho Cheese: Again, bland! Despite putting a relatively generous amount inside by burrito, I (seriously) could not even taste it without trying. It lacked an 'authentic' cheese taste, and lacked proper seasoning (aka: salt). (2/5) Guacamole: I love good guacamole: This was legitimately bad. It had an overwhelming taste of lime juice. Ordinarily this wouldn't be so bad if I could taste the freshness from the avocado or the cilantro, or even if I could taste the seasoning from the salt and pepper. Nothing ... just lime. Additionally, there were large chunks of onions in their guacamole. No bueno for me. (1/5) Salsa: Though I watched him put this on my burrito, I couldn't taste it. Where is the fresh tomato flavor, the fresh cilantro, the fresh flavor from the seasoning and other veggies? (2/5) Refried Beans: These were ok, but again, not seasoned appropriately and bland. They were just filler -- such a shame. (2 / 5) Jalapenos: Note that they do not use fresh jalapenos. These were pickled. For me, that's a no-no. I want fresh ingredients in my burrito -- like they do down South. A complete miss. They were hot though -- molten-hot. Like crap-your-brains-out 'hot'; but I liked that. Still, pickled and not fresh? (2/5) Brownie: Good; but not $2.50 'good'. It had a nice undertone of bourbon, and the texture was really nice. (4 / 5) Food: 2 / 5 Service: I think that a prerequisite to work here is to look like a hippie-stoner. I say that in the most unoffensive way that I can. Though, when the ganja makes you do things to my burrito I did not request, and ring-me-out for things I did and/or did not order, that is crazy. Also, when I spoke to them, it just seemed like none of them were mentally present. Hard to explain. Anyway, they grilled my burrito without asking; though, admittedly, I kind of liked it that way. Then when they rung-me-out they charged me for a premium tortilla, no nacho cheese, and no guacamole. I did not realize this until I got back to the car. In the end, I made-out on their error; but still... Service: 2 / 5 Atmosphere: Meh, it was not my jam. It was very 'cold' (color scheme) and uninviting. It kind of felt like a high school cafeteria. Weird...I know. Atmosphere: 2 / 5 Price: For the burrito and the Vanilla-Bourbon brownie, I paid $10 and some change. Definitely not worth what I paid at all. In fact, for the money, this may be one of the worst meals I have had in a while. Price: 1 / 5 Final Thoughts: Maybe five years ago, prior to eating at some of the best Tex-Mex and authentic Mexican eateries in South Texas, this might have been decent food. FreeBirds World Burrito still reigns as my go-to burrito place. Though not even remotely close to Freebird, Moe's Southwest Grill was even better than this. I cannot recommend this to anyone, and if you have ever had legitimate burritos, your will be wildly disappointed, just like I was.
(2)Richard S.
The food is fresh, the staff is friendly and the prices are great. Not as good as what I got in Texas, still, really good food.
(4)Diana Q.
Visit Date: April 26, 2014 Hubby and I came here for lunch during our day trip to PA. Neato Burrito is similar to Chitpotle and Moe's. Basically you state your burrito choices to the server behind the counter and they make your burrito fresh to order depending on what you want. My burrito was a vegetarian burrito with black bean hummus and avocado. It was so delicious a great tangy explosion of Mexican flavor with every bite!!! The burrito was also huge and Hubby and I, we were so hungry we gobbled down every last bite! If your near the Camp Hill, PA area you definitely need to eat at Neato Burrito!

Very lenient definition of "burrito" here, but what they lack with authenticity they make up for with volume. And innovative flavors. And warp-speed friendly service. Very lenient definition of "burrito": Neato isn't the place to go for an authentic Mexican experience, that's for sure. It's the craziest combination of ethnic options. Black bean hummus and feta salsa with Greek influences. Cowboy crunch burritos loaded with Ranch dressing. Cajun chicken that tastes more Creole than Tex-Mex. Thai chicken burritos wrapped up with peanut sauce. Asian Sriracha rooster sauce being used as their "hot sauce." If an ethnic bang-up fusion wrapped in a tortilla would fly as a "burrito", this is your place Volume: They promise at least 1 lb, and over-deliver. Their burrito size is literally 1.5x what you would see at a Chipotle. Totally enough to share between two, and amazing bang for your buck. Innovative flavors: Neato offers at least one rotating flavor for salsa and burrito every weekday. If punchy special offers like "For Those About to Rock, We Cilantro" and "Chick in a Thai" don't pique your interest, I have no words :) Warp-speed friendly service: The staff was friendly, courteous, and above-all EFFICIENT. Three employees were enough for me to get in and out the door, with no prior notice, with an enormous order of burritos and nachos for four, within ten minutes. Boom boom donesies. Some other things to consider: - if you like, they would grill your burrito for you in 10 sec via a giant panini griller - you can order and pay in advance via mobile, since they use Square - plenty of seating, good for groups - they don't offer lemon wedges
(3)David A.
I have never been a big fan of Chipolte. This local chain was their own version. More customized options, fresher ingredients and a very good selection of tortillas, proteins and salsas. I had a veggie bowl with black beans and it was filling and tasty.
(4)Cindy P.
Neato burrito on 2nd in Harrisburg is what made me fall in love with mto burritos. Hands down one of the best burritos ever.
(5)Amy G.
I love the retro-funky atmosphere. I like the salad option - topped with meat (all of them are good) and a bunch of veggies . . . you have a nice light lunch. If you go for the burrito option and load it up with the beans, rice, etc. you are in for a HUGE meal and a very tasty method of carb loading. I like the different salsas they offer and one burrito can feed both of my kids (5 and 7). I really like the fact you can customize it to your tastes. Only drawback? The small space means you sometimes wait for table.
(4)Byoung L.
Fast, Delicious, and Fun! This place is a great place to get a great burrito when you're on the run. They have tables inside so you can dine in. There is a big lunch rush during the weekdays but the line moves very fast. There are many types of burritos you can get here and it's actually made well. The employees are extremely friendly and they actually get your order right.
(5)Danny L.
The term "fresh" needs clarification in the matter of restaurant reviewing. Freshly made food is that which is made not so long ago (like fresh coffee). Fresh ingredients are those which have been recently prepared to then be used (like using freshly roasted coffee beans). Fresh as an oral sensation comes from food which is freshly made, uses fresh ingredients, and is seasoned properly to distinctive flavors (like delicious and aromatic coffee) Does Neato Burrito make "fresh" food? Well, it depends on the definition of fresh being used. Yes, my burrito was made in front of me, and by very friendly employees at that. But once my companion and I began eating, it was clear that the ingredients in my freshly made burrito were not so recently prepared. Both the beans (dry outside, mushy inside) and rice (hardened) seemed to have been sitting on the (albeit quite clean and tidy) prep line for some time. As for sensory freshness, no particular flavors, or aromas for that matter, popped out from any part of the meal. I had hoped that the salsas would have contained some crisp flavors or herbs, or that maybe the guacamole would've added a certain brightness. Alas, as with the color and presentation, nothing stood out whatsoever. On a positive note, this particular establishment was very well tidied, the bathrooms were immaculate, and the environment was comfortable. It's also neat that they use products crafted from recyclable materials. Another advantage that Neato Burrito has over its competitors is its tortilla options. Overall, I was not blown away. Nothing in particular impressed me, and my general feeling is that of not being at a loss should I forget this dining experience, which I will likely do.
(2)Steven G.
The feta salsa was really great and worth the extra cost. Overall this place is a good alternative to Chipotle and I would be eating it quite a bit if I lived in the area.
(5)H S.
I love Neato Burrito so much that every non-Neato Burrito meal I eat is a disappointment
(5)Stephen A.
great place for an easy meal...especially if that meal is the only thing you are going to eat all day. Burritos are packed. Lots of space inside. But also great for takeaway.
(4)Dan P.
So I see that there are a lot of positive response here and I'm sure I'll come under scrutiny for being picky but this place is not good for the price. I'm not saying that there food is not acceptable I'm just saying if i want my guacamole shot out of caulking gun and want to pay 10 dollars for a burrito and a drink i'd better be getting something spiced properly at a sit down hippie-mex restaurant. Now I should explain that for the past 3 years I lived in LA where Cali-mex rules all even sushi but even before this I felt that I easily made better burritos at home than Neato burrito. The best way to explain neato burrito is "its better than El Rodeo" and that shouldn't be an excuse. I do still partake in Neato burrito once every 2 months out convenience factors but I think the first sign that they need to redo something by the fact that they "season"(i use this word as lightly as they use it literally) there meat in water which just washes away what ever taste it did have. I apologize to all of you who hold Neato Burrito in such high esteem but go to any big city (atleast bigger than hbg) and you'll know exactly what I'm talking about
(2)Jay R.
What the best word to use? Let's try this: I CHERISH Neato Burrito. I get so tired of the worldly describing Neato as being "fine ... but if you've been where I've been..." Uh-uh. I've been around too, and Neato measures up against any burritos I've come across. Everything is fresh, from the rice to the salsa to the veggies. The decor is retro. Lots of tats and ear hoops. I've yet to encounter an unfriendly server. What's so great about this place is the variety. They're made from scratch, to your precise order. A different special salsa every day (although they've taken to charging $1 extra for the to-die-for jalapeno & feta salsa -- boo!). Take note of the ingredients in their burrito of the day; some of the ingredients can be directed into yours, such as the pesto sauce. Likewise, there are six, I think, kinds of flavored tortillas. You can get it grilled or ungrilled. I think the grilled adds a certain taste I don't care for. And they have Stewart's sodas. You gotta love that. As for the locations, I've tried almost all of them. I feel like you get a little extra in your burrito at the Mechanicsburg Windsor Park location. If you like a memorable venue, New Cumberland's site is it. And I've said for years that the Second Street location in downtown Harrisburg should be open until 3, even 4 a.m. on Friday-Saturday nights. The line would run two blocks with people leaving the bars. Finally, for the first time, the secret of the Sour Cream & Onion Burrito is unlocked. Jalapeno & cheese tortilla Hummus Cilanto-pesto rice if they have it; if not, dirty rice Extra cheese Sriracha Pesto sauce if they have it Jalapeno & feta salsa (always) MORE sour cream Onions That is a very, very "wet" burrito that will fall apart on you early on. It is not the healthiest burrito you can construct. But you WILL thank me.
(5)J J.
Good homemade burritos to order, but at certain times they will fall apart on you...depends on who makes them I guess...ask for light meat, beans and rice as I do if you don't like eating gluey textured food....they can over do it with these ingredients, but their salsas are great, an their troeggs chili is sublime!
(4)Anissa A.
I love everything about neato burrito. For years I chose the chicken burrito, which was delicious. I then discovered the beef. It is insane good!! My latest creation is ordering the burrito on chips and getting the chips on the side. It's like a personalized 7 layer dip. Also worth noting is the baked goods are delicious as well.
(5)T W.
Best burritos in the world. But I'm deducting a star and here's why - the burrito I get, chicken with jalapeño feta and quac, comes to $9.01. And they will friggin count out $.99 in change rather than just eat that penny like literally every other business in the area. If you're going to be that greedy for a penny, at least have a penny dish on the counter for your customers. Killer Burritos though as usual. Worth the pocket full of change.
(4)Emily A.
Neato has long been the best central PA has in terms of burritos, and that's definitely still true. The burritos are giant and delicious. The jalapeño feta salsa is amazing (even if they're now charging extra for it). Tuesday is hands down the best with blackened chicken. They currently serve their own sodas they produce, none of which I have tried. The location and decor aren't as great as where they were originally in Lemoyne, but it's still a great place to eat.
(4)Kate A.
I make it a point to get a burrito here everytime I go home. It's tradition, it's ritual, it's necessary. Neato, please open a satellite branch in New York. If you do, I'll still visit the Market St location when I'm there. Cause it's tradition. oh satchmo why are you so good... (as a sidenote, this place is clearly not a mexican restaurant. but it is right next to el rodeo, which is a mexican restaurant, and a pretty good one, so if you want mexican...)(UPDATE:they're no longer next to El Rodeo.)
(5)Jennifer M.
One of the best east coast burritos i've ever had. You get a choice of rice, beans, salsa and then add in whatever else you want. And the price is right. In Brooklyn we usually pay $9 for a burrito and a lot of the time its not even that good! The key is to toast it. mmm....toasty! BTW... this place gets 6 stars in my book for playing BIOHAZARD. This place is top notch! Next time im in middle of nowhere PA ill be eating here.
(5)Geoff L.
I used to live right down the street from this location and I routinely ate here two consecutive nights out the week. The salsas on Tues (jalapeno feta) and Wed (satchmo) are excellent with cajun chicken and black beans. I'll most likely be making a return visit to central PA next month and you've got to believe that Neato Burrito will be my first stop.
(4)Nolan F.
It is a challenge and I believe a award should be given out to ANYONE who can fill me up in one meal. Maybe I was just not feeling "in the game" but i couldn't handle the entire burrito for lunch today, heck I got about half way and wanted to call it quits. Maybe its the combination of beans and rice that gets me, I don't know but it really did upset me that I couldn't put this behemoth down. Did I mention that this is done by a burrito that comes with a drink for less than $7?? Yes. It does. I feel like such a wuss now. Anyways I have been here twice, and I feel that I can now review this with a pretty balanced review. I had the cowboy crunch the first time and the blackened chicken the second time. The Cowboy crunch was super unique and SUPER good. like really really good, so good that I am kinda upset I didn't get it the second time, but that's no fun to eat the same thing over and over again. The taste of the sweet BBQ, with the nacho crunch in it made it fantastic! and Giant!!! I honestly don't know what else to say about this place. Its good. And that's all that you need to know. If I had to guess, the Cowboy Crunch is probably the best, but I haven't tried it all, so I will save that for IF I ever try them all, which I wont :) Staff is uncaring in a good way if that makes sense. They will talk to you like a normal human, and i like that, some places have to watch what you say when you work there, but these people are extremely nice and knowledgeable. They also have a few different tortillas, and I guess you can get it in a bowl, which by the end of trying to eat the normal burrito i was eating it with just a fork anyways. Extremely messy. Neato Burrito is very good. there really isn't much else to say.
(5)Louis C.
First off. Neato is not just a burrito joint. It's an experience one must prepare for and learn to enjoy every second of. Once I learned of the cowboy crunch there was really only life before and life after. I knew people that ate Neato almost religiously for their healthy alternatives which are delicious. BUT after a cowboy crunch on jalapeno cheese wrap with extra crunch and chili beans... swear they found religion in a burrito for the first time. Let these delicious giant burritos not only guide u like hungry mosquitoes to a warm light...but also graciously invite u to join the people that work in this burrito bliss. For these people invest love into your 2lb. lunch balls and are as heart warming as the meat they stuff into your football sized Mexican nap wraps. I feel comfortable calling them friends. Some artists in their burrito skills. Some lovers in the seduction of my mouth and all of them professionals that are trained to make ur belly full with delight. It is no secret I have spent a small fortune on my nutritional bias towards neato. But thanx to the likes of Bob. Alex. Strawberry. Kate plus eight burritos. Stevie Wonder and all of the yet to be nicknamed employees... I don't have to feel so dirty about loving my one true vice that they provide daily to me with skill and a smile. Dear neato. I love u. Simply. Your devout lover. Louis.
(4)Lina K.
I would rate this somewhere between a 3 and a 4. The restaurant is a decent size. I had been there before when they were on market street and this place is much bigger. Clean and simple. No fancy decor. I got a burrito with chicken, rice, veggies, and salsa. It was huge and def filled me up. Only problem was the burrito was getting soggy (maybe from the pico?) The burrito was good but nothing amazing. I am also a little bummed it doesn't come with free chips. I do recommend this place.
(3)Jeremy Z.
Neato. I'm all about it. I was first introduced to Neato Burrito during my Freshman year at Messiah College, and fell in love at first bite. I am currently studying "abroad" at Temple in Philadelphia, but when I visit friends back at Messiah, I always make it a point to spend a meal at Neato. It makes me sad that Neato is a Central PA exclusive deal, and also makes conversations about "best burrito place" hard when I'm talking to someone who has never had the experience. I use the word experience because that's what Neato is: so much more than just a good burrito. The experience changes people, as well. Having taken people who would swear religiously that there is nothing better than Chipotle, I've had about a 75% conversion rate. I guess some people will always just be Neato-atheists, though. The whole atmosphere is the first thing that showed me Neato was a bit different than your average burrito chain. Walking in the doors of the Lemoyne location, my eyes were barraged with a variety of different sights. From the purple-painted antler chandelier (yes, really) to the corrugated aluminum used on the walls, the decor just cries out for attention. Each location is slightly different, in its own special way. Walking up to the counter, you find signs hanging with the basics of a burrito: meat, bean and rice choices. A small plaque below eye level reveals that there are several gourmet tortilla choices. "Burrito-of-the-day" signs accost at eye-level, including the ever-present (and ever-delicious) Cowboy Crunch and it's accouterments. You're free to customize your burrito to your heart's content, with a few toppings (Guac, particularly) costing a tad extra. No matter how you customize it, you're gonna get a big burrito (well, I guess you could order like two fillings, and it would be smaller, but who does that?). They're quite filling, so don't make plans for dessert. A well-stocked cooler of craft sodas is always a welcome addition in any restaurant, and Neato is on point, having a selection founded in the Maine Root company. Bottles of Blueberry, Mandarin Orange, as well as a fiery Ginger Beer are all available at a modest price, and round out the meal well. A soda fountain is also present, for the less adventurous, and water for the frugal/plain sorts. The staff are all extremely helpful and polite (friends and I have often been complemented on things like hats), as well as fast and efficient workers. Even with a moderately long line (like from the counter to the door), things progress quickly, and even a large group of ten or more can all be served within fifteen or so minutes. Once, my burrito ripped while they were wrapping it, and I was offered the another specialty tortilla for it to be double-wrapped in at no extra cost. There is plenty of booth-style seating available, and I can't say that I've ever seen it more than thirty percent full, at most. I think they even have a whole other burrito-making side that has been closed every time I've patronized them, I wonder if it is ever used. My favorite burrito joint. Period. Take friends. Convert the unbelievers (I jest!).
(5)Marintha K.
Best burritos around. Cowboy crunch with my personal favorite with everything on it and grilled. It's a must have for me. The only food place I ever miss back home when I go away to college.
(4)Jim S.
WOW - just ate here for the first time. Definitely MUST come back. Had the blackened chicken special burrito on a chipotle chili wrap. AWESOME. The thing was huge, the makin's were really fresh. The feta something salsa seemed weird, but ended up being my new favorite. I also got a side of salsa verde for some zing which was a good choice; it brightened up the flavor of the spicy ingredients. For the cost this was a great meal. We did take out, but there were booths with great decor for eat in. Lastly, have to say the service was great. It's production line style and each of the burr-istas was friendly and made great suggestions when i asked about ingredients.

We vegetarians really luck out here -- one of the filling options is Tröeg's Nut Beer Chili, which makes that enormous burrito one of the most delicious things in the world. The friendly, pierced and tattooed staff chooses the music and the decor is a colorful, laid back retro-kitsch, with a slight punk touch. What I mean to say is, it's a very fun atmosphere. Neato Burrito is the best thing that ever happened to me. So go, stuff yourself with the biggest and most delicious burrito you've ever seen.

The only thing stopping me from a 5 star review is that they only take cash. Other than that, this place rocks! The food is delicious and I love that I can add or subtract what I want on my burrito. Plus the atmosphere and service are excellent as well. Update (07/28/10) They're now taking credit cards at all the locations. Yay!

Great burritos, friendly staff, and a great price equals a great meal. You can either order a burrito off the menu or make your own, they have a bunch of different fillings to choose from which is an adventure in itself.

Who doesnt love a burrito from Neato? Literally such an awesome place! The food is amazing! Such good, FRESH burritos. The ingredients are so good and not commercialized like Chipotle. Plus the atmosphere and employees are awesome! It has sort of a retro funky hip vibe with some kick ass friendly employees who now how to whip up a pretty tasty meal. Oh and its CHEAP! $6.94 for a MAssive burrito in my book is a STEAL. I live in D.C now and want them to Expand! They would do so well outside the Harrisburg area.
