I have passed by this place for years. My loss! Charming atmosphere! Really good coffee, and a fantastic breakfast. Exceptionally friendly staff and very good service. The omelets are delicious. We had the ham and cheese, phllly cheesesteak, vegetable and the Mexican omelets. The portions are very big and the pricing is very reasonable. The menu favorites look amazing as well and their menu offers a great variety of choices. We will try those next time. I look forward to our next visit.

Wow...what a delicious breakfast the boys and I had here. The place wasn't very busy at all, which concerned me at first, but so glad we went in anyway. Plenty of choices on the menu but I went with the Dutch omelette while my boys had the short stack of chocolate chip pancakes and a plain Belgian waffle. Service was fast and friendly and our food came out hot and quickly. I was completely stuffed by the end of my meal, which I washed down with one of their special coffees for the day--a pumpkin latte. My boys enjoyed their meals as well. Another plus for us is that there are gluten-free options on the menu, so the next time we come back, I will bring the wife and there will be several options for her to choose from. A few days later, I was talking to my Mom about this place to let her know she should try it, and as it turns out, several of her church friends eat here all the time as they love it as well! Can't wait to come back!

Super cozy, family Italian restaurant right in heart of Lansdale. It's nice and big with lots of booths and seating. It had lots of locals and families there, which was nice. I loved my salmon and potatoes, so buttery, flavorful and rich. It also comes with soup and salad which was great, as well as some rolls. The best thing was the chocolate peanutbutter bomb, soooo rich filled with whipped pudding type filling and a crispy chocolate crust. Delicious! Overall great prices, food and service, as well as a very family friendly atmosphere. Can't wait to go back to try some more things!

Just tried Valentino's today for the first time and all I can say is WOW!!! The breakfast was phenomenal and super reasonably priced. I got their chai tea latte and it was one of the best I've ever had and I've had a lot! My husband got the #8 pigs in a blanket and I got their breakfast burrito- both were SO good and we have leftovers! Definitely would recommend this for breakfast- so delicious.

We're relatively new to the area and we were looking for a breakfast place that was toddler friendly. This place was amazing! Very attentive, fast and friendly service, and most importantly, the food was delicious! We are going back for dinner later this week.

We went here because of the great reviews, we love to support local businesses and homemade food...tons of options on the menu, but some options seem better than others... the calamari (frozen) was just okay but the sauce was really good. Our salads were fresh and good. Dinner was were it fell apart for my husband, he ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, which looked beautiful and again had great sauce but the meatballs tasted like they were frozen or refrigerated uncovered. I had the chicken francese, which was very good and came with a huge side of pasta - I couldn't finish my meal although I tried! My husband couldn't resist bringing home a salted Carmel brownie that is still waiting in the fridge for us to eat... Hopefully that's as good as my meal. Overall it was just okay for us.

Went for a Saturday breakfast it was fairly decent and the portions are enough to fill you up.Gluten free menu appropriate. Atmosphere was okay. Outside perimeter is aged and there's parking entrance on side of restaurants. Be cautious when entering could be difficult at times.

BREAKFAST/BRUNCH: Affordable and delicious, decent sized portions. So decent I didn't finish my breakfast, but they brought me a takeout box for my stuffed french toast with Nutella, peanut butter, and banana (just $6.50!!). The manager saw it was my first time here, so s/he sent me a complimentary hazelnut cappuccino as well.

My mom frequents this place. Like all good moms with daughters that lack the ability to make a decent meal; she lovingly brings me food; and she has brought me many meals from the Bistro. I've had the opportunity to sample a variety of dishes that they prepare and I'm always beyond impressed. Everything is always so delicious. It's hard to pick a favorite. Their breakfast pancakes and waffles are awesome. Various sandwiches kill, and their fries are the best I've had.. My mom usually brings me breakfast or lunch, but every now and then she will brink me something from their dinner menu, that is always a huge treat! I'm not a big fan of Italian food, but I love their Italian food..I wish I had some now.

This place is a hidden gem! The food here is always great. My family comes here every Sunday morning for breakfast and service is always exceptional. On the rare occasion we get out for dinner and I'm always presently surprised by how fantastic the food is. There is so much flavor and you can tell its homemade. I'm a big fan of family run restaurants. It's also BYOB, which I'm a big fan of. I'd rather spend my money on than drinks.

Enjoyed the Monte Cristo. They were happy to substitute fruit cup for fries. Quick and friendly service. Bistro light salad with balsamic vinegrette was accompanied by fruit cup as well. Great reason to shop/eat locally.

Tried this place over the weekend for dinner and I was so impressed! Great Italian atmosphere. It took me back to caffes in Italy. The food is amazing and the portions are huge. I started with the bruschetta appetizer yum!! I then ordered the penne vodka that came with a salad and a glass of wine plus a bread basket. The prices are excellent given the portion of the meals. There is a great variety of desserts. I tried the cannoli cake and it was delicious. Overall great place for Italian cuisine in the heart of Lansdale. Who knew....

This is a great little Italian BYOB in Lansdale. It has a homey feel to it and the Chicken Parm with spagetti is really good. They also have fresh baked garlic knots that make the salad special. My wife and I bring along a nice red Zin and we always leave satisfied and happy for less then $40.. I think they'll give you free wine but we take ours. The bad news is they only serve dinner on the weekends but I hear they have a great breakfast everyday. Never tried it but several neighbors go often.

Great family oriented restaurant. Menu is good with lots of options, including breakfast all day, while they are open. They close at 2PM on week days and open in the evenings on weekends. Price and food portion is just right. Service is good too.

Came to try for Breakfast after reading the reviews. The breakfast was great and the omelets were delicious like it was said. Price was cheap so everything was good. Maybe will try out for lunch or dinner.

Looking for a new place to have breakfast so we stopped here on Easter. We were able to sit right down when we got there around 1030 which was great. However our meal was not so great. I had a cheese omelette it came with home fries and toast and a side of pork roll with iced tea. The omelette was just okay, home fries dry no taste. The best thing about the meal was the toast the pork roll had a very strange texture to it even though I had asked the waitress what kind of pork roll it was before I ordered it. The iced tea was terrible both my husband and I couldn't drink it and the waitress did give us a different drink which was appreciated. Hubby had an English muffin with a side of sausage and his English muffin on the one side was moldy--that kind of wrapped things up for our meal. Nothing outstanding nothing was worth coming back to try again. Maybe there are other things on the menus that other people like that we didn't try but we are not going to take a chance. And yes they did take the charge for the English muffin off the check.

I've never been here for dinner, but I've been here for breakfast a few times and it is probably my favorite place in Lansdale. First of all, the service is SUPER friendly. The waitresses greet you like they've known you for years. It's not lightning-fast, but the wait is reasonable, even during prime hours. I am particularly appreciative of their omelettes. They aren't as dense and overcooked as the massive behemoths served at every greasy spoon in town. They are lighter, fluffier and chock full of whatever it was you demanded they be full of. The home fries can be a little dry, but at least they're not undercooked. And for some reason, I swear to God this place makes the best toast in town. And before you scoff, we all know that toast made and buttered for you by someone else tastes far better than toast you made yourself, so YES, there is an art to it. I've also had pancakes and French toast there. The pancakes were fine, nothing special. The French toast was kind of baffling. I ordered the "extra thick Texas toast" style and it arrived no thicker than what I would expect regular bread to yield. Nevertheless, it was creamy, rich and satisfying. I will definitely return here in the future and perhaps try dinner next time.

Traveling through the small towns surrounding Philadelphia can certainly be an adventure. From winding roads to suddenly changing names of streets, the actual journey alone can be exciting. The journey can also be long, which can lead to hunger and the need to find somewhere to eat. Ideally that place will be pleasant, competent, and satisfying. Valentino's is similar to many of the Italian style restaurants that dot the suburban Philadelphia countryside. I am always amazed at how many "Pizza" and "Italian" restaurants there are in the seemingly middle of nowhere. Most of them are located in strip malls and seldom seem to have any differentiating qualities. The restaurant is certainly pleasant, the owners and the staff are gracious and very warm. I actually stopped in after looking at a few other restaurants and Valentino's was the only one with any customers inside. It was a normal dinner time, and seeing as how Valentino's had a crowd I thought it was a promising sign. Although I enjoyed the service and appreciated finding a lively restaurant rather than an eerily quiet one to eat in I cannot say that I overwhelmingly enjoyed the food. The portions are generous and several of the dishes are presented in a home cooking style. However, there is little balance applied to the seasonings, with some being too bland and some being too salty or bitter. Several of the pasta dishes were overcooked to the point where the pasta broke apart on the tongue. If you have problems with your teeth this could be a positive thing. I certainly got the opinion that Valentino's is a popular locals destination. I believe they try hard. However, it was very hard for me to leave this place feeling satisfied especially when the bill came to more than $20 per person.

I'm generally not a diner fan, but I'm always up for brunch at Valentino's, and have been many times on the weekend. The omelettes are flavorful and not oily. The pancakes, french toast, and waffles are delicious, with options for various fresh fruit, none of that fake fruit preserves. The servers have always been friendly and attentive. Though the outside appearance may not be that compelling, it's definitely worth trying!

Went for breakfast with my husband on Tuesday morning. I had 2 eggs scrambled with cheddar cheese, sausage, bacon, hash browns and a side of chili and milk. My husband had the breakfast burrito with sausage and hash browns and a side of orange juice. Service was good, food was yummy and the price was very reasonable. Our total bill without tip was only $23. Overall I would recommend this place and would definitely go back.

I've gone here many times. I like the food, prices, and low-key atmosphere. It's not the fanciest place and certainly not high end Italian cuisine. But given all that, I highly recommend it. Try the sausage cattiore. !

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
