This is my favorite salad works. The employees are great, even when it is 10 minutes until closing, they don't rush you, or look upset because you came in. The ingredients are all fresh and the salads are made perfectly. Some places I've been to have had spillover, so when they scoop some turkey into my salad, I also get ham....not this place. It's very neat and clean inside, and there has never been a long wait, and my order has never been wrong (ahem, Salad Works Montgomeryville).

Yikes, what is going on with this franchise location? I've been to a number of Saladworks in the Philly area and this one is a huge step down from the others. I've always liked Saladworks for the consistently good salads, friendly staff, and healthy options. The menu is essentially the same at all locations and I have a number of tried and true favorites. I gave this location 3 tries and each time I've had a bad experience this leads me to believe it's just an overall crappy Saladworks. Toppings are extremely skimpy. I got 5 pieces of chicken on my salad once (typically I get around 10). 3 apple slices another time (usually I get 5 slices). One time my Fire Roasted Cabo Jack salad came with no chicken at all as the person who made it omitted chicken completely. I've never had an issue with "skimpy toppings" at any other location who usually heap toppings on. My second issue here are the staff are really rude and generally super unenthusiastic about you, your order, their job, and life. I came in 30 minutes before closing (I know this because I checked the closing time on the door after we left with our togo orders after the encounter!) and had the person who rang us up/made our salads remarked how, "We're closing now!" and she seemed super annoyed to make our two salads. Apparently 30 minutes before closing is too close to closing to make food. Another time we were eating in and got to listen to the workers complain about wanting to leave. I get it. Working at Saladworks can't be the most exciting thing ever, but complaining is what you're supposed to do in the back room, not in front of customers. Third, the rolls they serve have a tendency to double as paper weights. Or weapons. Or hell, even jawbreakers. Of the 3 times I've been here with my boyfriend each time either one or both of us has received a rock-hard, dried out dinner roll. The first time, the white rolls were hard as rocks (boyfriend got a white roll, I always go for wheat). The second time, both were a little stale. The last time, his white roll was hard and cold. They either don't get many customers throughout the day and leave rolls in the heating drawer all day or have the buns on high heat and they dry out too fast. Either way, how can they not tell by touching them with their tongs that they're serving rocks? I love the Saladworks chain and frequent the other locations in the metro area like Wayne and Malvern. I love the friendly staff and fresh salads there, so I think I may have to stick to those stores until this Saladworks shapes up.

If only the owner knew what was going on here. Service stinks (wouldn't say a word, thought I did something wrong), portions for the price were awful, grilled cheese was expensive with ONE THIN SLICE, I MEAN THIN. Won't return.

If you've been to one Saladworks, you've been to them all. Build your own salad or choose from the variety of pre designed options. The salad and sandwich combo is a nice touch if you aren't a big salad person. This location isn't bad. Fairly fresh ingredients although the guac was a little suspect the other day. Everything is clean from what I can tell. It's not fine dining, but it's a good option for a quick and inexpensive healthy lunch.

No stars for this location. Worst service I have ever received. You can get a salad four doors down at Palermos. I will not be back to this location, nor will my local friends. The "girl" that attempted to help me was rude.

This Saladworks makes great salads -- they don't mix in other unwanted ingredients, and the salad ingredients seem just fresher than other locations. In the store, the woman who runs the cash register is awesome-- super friendly and really fast. However, I have tried on several occasions to have my order delivered and it has been a really bad experience. My office is really close to the location, but there are times none of us can leave. The minimum order is high ($40.00) for delivery and, even when our order exceeds that amount, they will do whatever they can to avoid delivery to us. The attitude we get on the phone when placing the order makes it worse. I've had so many problems on so many occasions that we now get our lunches delivered from other places. Another problem (which I think this location probably has no control over) is that the web page NEVER works. You spend a crazy amount of time entering your order (which we try to do to avoid the nasty person on the phone), but the web page kicks you out in the cart and you have to start over. It's a shame -- we all like their salads in my office, but it's just not worth the hassle.

Stopped in for lunch and had a great custom salad. The staff was nice and promptly started working on putting together my salad. Not a single issue to be had with my lunch.

I work in center city Philadelphia and always have good service when I order a salad. Last night I went to the Saladworks in Lansdale and had the same good service, but when I went to pay for my salad, the guy ringing me up said "if you appreciated our service, feel free to tip." This took me by surprise and I was offended and embarrassed by his remark. I didn't leave a tip (actually I had zero cash on me and was using my debit card to pay), but thought that remark was uncalled for. I am not a tightwad, but I always thought tipping was reserved for table service. This guy was only doing his job and what he gets a salary for.

Your typical Saladworks, but SERVICE MOVES AT A GLACIAL PACE during lunchtime, when the line reaches the door. The lady at the register is nice, but everything leading up to it...hearing employees complaining about wanting to go home, inefficient assembly line...kills me. You have been warned.

Saladworks can be classified in the same category as a subway or wawa meaning that they're all reliable. It would be a rarity to go into a Saladworks and receive a bad salad. This Lansdale location is clean, and the ingredients were fresh. The girl that helped me out was high courteous, plus she made a killer salad for me. Overall a clean, reliable place for a good salad.
