Palermo's has great pizza. The sauce is not sweet and fresh, the crust is crispy yet chewy. The white pizza is not greasy as you would expect for a white pizza. The dough under the cheese is not too chewy but also crispy. Sometimes its a little burnt but that is because the dough is so thin. Their sandwiches are tasty too. Cheesesteaks, hoagies, and their falafel is delicious too. They recently renovated the dining area and it looks very upscale. I would recommend this place to any pizza lover since its so good.

Our go-to local pizza joint. Recommendations: 1) Pizza Fina (extra thin crust) 2) The Palermo (ricotta and fresh moz) 3) Cheesesteak stromboli (one giant meal or leftovers for days) I've ordered the falafel as well and it seems like a tasty, healthy alternative instead of a salad. Bonus: If you save up 8 magnets, you can get a free medium cheese. Nice!

I don't go out often for pizza and the like but there's one thing I do enjoy and one thing that can be a pain to find: Thin-crust tomato pies. They make a really good regular/thincrust tomato pie with sauce, garlic and a bit of olive oil. Also, more often than not, I've been able to get the large with a whole wheat crust. So if you're looking for something near Lansdale that's lighter than traditional cheese pizza, well made and tasty, Palermo's is an excellent choice.

My wife and I had a small plain pizza and an antipasto. The pizza was good, the sauce a little sweet - second only to Franzone's. The crust was good. The antipasto was good but not presented very well - but OK. The worst thing was a young girl in their about 8 years old who was related to the owners somehow and she was making all kinds of noise and her apparent mother just sat there and said nothing. Also it's kind of dark and cool in there (January). I would not recommend this place for any kind of ambiance but have no complaints about the food. I will not likely go back.

We were very excited to see a wide array of Middle Eastern food there tonight, and eagerly ordered falafels for ourselves and a bacon cheeseburger for our son. The wait was very long, but we knew falafels were coming, so we didn't mind. Didn't mind the "one refill only" sign on the soda machine. Even got over the 3% surcharge for using a credit card. But boy did we mind the falafels. Absolutely bland, through and through. No seasoning whatsoever in the patty, the "Israeli salad" topping and even the tahini was watered down. Plus, the falafel patties themselves were burned to a crisp and black on one side. We make and order them all the time, and while not every one we've ever had was noteworthy, these were absolutely horrible. (On the plus side, the burger was apparently good and the fries were crisp).

Today is New Year's day - not a lot open. Palermo's was not our first choice, but we figured we'd just go in and get a slice. Well - we ended up with the small chicken cheesesteak salad ($5), minestrone soup, and a Israeli salad with chicken. The prices weren't cheap, but they were in line with what good food (not fast food) costs, plus you must factor in that large amount of food that was provided. We ate out of real bowls and with real silverware, too. The place was clean, the tables good (not wobbly), the chairs padded and matching, and a nice LED TV was on so we could watch the Rose parade. Nice place, great, fresh well-made food at a fair price. Will definitely go back.

I really hate to downgrade my reviews, but here is one. The food remains good, spped and service are adequate. BUT Palermo's really should stop messing with credit card surcharges. In past few months they went from normal (same price regardless of payment terms) to CC minimums, to CC surcharge to posted cash discount. Now I was charged 3% extra, while a cash discount of 5% is still advertised. Stop messing around!

Had eaten at the Palermo's in Blue Bell since it's close to work. I ordered a buffalo chicken Stromboli there in Blue Bell and it was great. I live near the Lansdale branch and wanted to eat the buffalo chicken Stromboli again. Went to order on the phone and repeated my order twice and said Buffalo Chicken Stromboli!!! Got to the place to pick it up and turns out they screwed up my order and just did a chicken Stromboli (which is totally different than the Buffalo Chicken Stromboli). I was not happy at all since I repeated my order twice to them over the phone!!! They tried to rectify the situation by giving me the buffalo sauce on the side and I reluctantly agreed since I did not want to wait another 20 min for my food. I appreciate them trying to fix the problem but what pissed me off the most is that they NEVER APOLOGIZED for the screw up in the order and gave me a dirty look thinking it was my fault. I will probably go to the Blue Bell branch but I do not think I will ever go back to the Lansdale even though the food was fine. Not happy with the service! Note, this occurred on a mid Sunday afternoon where there were no customers around!

If you enjoy thin crust pizza, you will enjoy Palermo's. I prefer thick crust so I was not a big fan. And the margherita pizza was pretty skimpy on the basil. Service is good and price is average.

It's hard to find good pizza in the burbs. I remember liking Palermo's as a kid, and tried it again pretty recently. The pizza is good, not great. But, in the greater lansdale area, it's still better than most that I have tried. They have a mediterranean menu as well. The hummus is a HUGE portion, but pretty decent, on par with Sabra hummus. Their falafel was also pretty solid. All pizza shops do the whole sub and grinder deal, but Palermos does it pretty well. Eggplant parm sub was pretty amazing. At the end of the day, when I visit the area, and people are asking for pizza, I'll probably suggest Palermos.

This was a confusing visit from the start. We (wife, son and me) walked into a nice looking pizza place with tables at the front and service at the back. It was mid-afternoon, so no surprise the tables were all empty. What did surprise me was the lack of attention from the staff. There were two men behind the counter and three more in the back that I could see. NOBODY greeted us or acknowledged our presence until my wife approached the counter to order. The pizza was good, but at $30 for a large w/pepperoni % sausage, there are much better places in Lansdale and the surrounding area, that include friendly staff and service in their prices. Definitely not adding this shop to my list for repeat visits.

Not from the area anymore, but recently made a trip back to catch up with old friends and see old places...Usually make long winded reviews, but will try to keep this one quick: Friends asked where we wanted to grab a quick bite before starting on a Lansdale pub crawl. My mind immediately jumped to Palermo's. I like my crust thin and chewy and they do it perfectly. Sauce is thin, not chunky (me likes) and cheese is great too...Just a perfect pizza for me. They charge a bit more (average $15 for a large pie), but so worth it to me. Was amazed how nothing had changed there since we left 4 years ago (in a good way). They renovated before we left and the place is very clean and modern. A nice place for dine-in (although we took out that day). Same guy was at the counter when I went to pick-up and he handed me the same little pizza slice magnet with their name and number (make a pie out of 8 slices and get a free medium cheese pie!) Actually brought the magnet back to CT as a keepsake.

I've eaten here twice. The first time I had red pizza...awful sauce! Good topping though. The second time I went because I was told to try the white pizza...yum! So that's my recommendation..stick to white! Another reason for only 3 stars is the service. It's strange and disorderly!

Definitely one of my go-to lunch spots during work hours. They have good quality food, the service is respectable and their menu is at a reasonable price. I typically go for a couple slices, cheesesteak or if I'm trying to be "healthy", the chicken Caesar Salad. My buddies typically get paninis and rave about them. All in all a solid spot to grab a bite at a reasonable price.

I got takeout from Palermo's Pizza the other night on the way home from work. I ordered a Medium Cheesesteak Pizza, a Small Margherita Pizza, and an order of wings. Somehow this came to over $30...which surprised me. But I figured it would be worth it because good pizza is hard to come by. Unfortunately, the pizza and wings were pretty crappy. The wings were basically without any kind of coating, and hardly had any sauce on them. They were jiggly and soggy and basically inedible if not for the supply of hot sauce we keep on hand. Not enjoyable. My boyfriend did not like the cheesesteak pizza very much. He didn't hate it, and liked the crust, but the sauce was too sweet, the meat was just super dry flakes, and the cheese was just a few slices of American cheese that were semi-melted on top. He ate a few slices and threw the rest out: something that is unspeakable in our house, as leftover pizza is one of the basic food groups. For this, I paid $15. The margherita pizza wasn't bad. Again, I liked the crust. It definitely needed more sauce though (this was a completely different sauce than what was on the cheesesteak pizza)...and more basil. 80% of the pizza was just crust and blobs of mozzarella. Also, it was $11 for a pizza the size of a pita bread. For that price, I could have gotten an amazing veggie covered pizza from California Pizza Kitchen. In short, Palermo's was super overpriced and super disappointing. I was pretty excited to try it from all of the awesome reviews on Yelp, but it was pretty grody and I won't be going back.

Definitely a fan of Palermo's of Lansdale. The area is overwhelmed with pizza and sandwich shops yet Palermo's is able to distinguish itself from the masses of its competition. Palermo's creates yummy pizza; the crust is thin and crispy but is not crumbly. The sauce is good and the cheese is properly proportioned. They offer a variety of the usual toppings, many of which we have tried. In addition to the normal steak, chicken, meatball sandwiches and wraps, Palermo's offer a smattering of middle eastern foods which is a nice occasional change. They're sandwiches are generously sized and at the top of their class. Our favorite is the chicken cheese steak hoagie (mayo, fried onions, provolone). Palermo's offers a wide range of salads including greek and capresse. The restaurant offers takeout (of course) and tables. Ordering is handled at the counter, though the food is delivered to the table. Certain dishes will afford you metal utensils but mostly you'll be left with plastic-ware. The atmosphere of the restaurant is an improvement over most pizza/sandwich shops and the staff is very friendly. Food prep and service is quick and courteous.
