For being in a shopping center away from most activity, Manny Brown's has something that a lot of other bars don't - an amazing selection of beer. Last year when I ventured into this place, they had Dogfish Head 120 Minute IPA on tap! On tap! I was limited to 2, which is dumb, but I guess its some sort of rule or law or something. Have not eaten here, so I cannot comment on the food. The place is on the small side, but there are a lot of TVs. Bartenders are friendly. And they will turn on whtaever you wish to watch without much fuss. Quite a gem in Langhorne, where nothing really happens.

Its a Sunday night here for the Happy Hour "In The Biz Night". 9pm-midnight. Appetizers $5.00. $4.00 martinis and some beers. Love Donna the bartender. Shes awesome. Great bands too.

Small little place tucked away in the Summit Square shopping plaza... The location is odd, but the place has some excellent beers on tap, including Franziskaner, one of my favorite Hefeweizen. They serve beer using frosted glasses, which I believe should be standard practice throughout the country - nay, the world. Pretty standard bar otherwise, though, with some decent TVs above the bar. There's a Golden Tee arcade game in the front. The bathrooms are decently clean, but not spotless. Service was pretty good, but nothing to write home about.

We were looking for someplace new and were craving fajitas. I did a search for fajitas in bucks county and Manny Browns popped up with good reviews. I had eaten at the one at Neshaminy years ago and figured we would give this one a try. It is in an odd location. There was a good selection of beers to choose from but very pricey. The waitress brought us different ones to sample based on what we told her we liked. We ordered the chips and salsa as an appetizer. When it came it out, we should have known then that we didn't want to eat there. The salsa was nothing but tomato flavored water with some onions thrown in. The steak fajitas were awful. The steak was very tough. It was like gnawing on shoe leather. We will not be returning.

Manny Brown's is in the Summit Square Shopping Center, down the strip from Giant Supermarket, and close by Moishe & Itzy's Deli. How much more interesting both places would be if they knocked down the wall and served each other's customers. Pastrami and beer, and 13 TVs would be a boon to both. Maybe, this will start them talking. I know they are not directly next to each other, but why should that stop the integration of interests? Manny's is a friendly place with a game plan of serving a good mix of draft crafty beer, and a decent bar menu. It does not have the room to offer the alternatives of Isaac Newton's, nor the diveyness of The Clubhouse to be a buffalo wing sports bar, but falls somewhere between the two. Neither is the clientele the same as those mentioned. It is not as yuppified as Isaac's, nor as dank and noisy as Clubhouse. It servers those who are somewhere in the middle on the day they choose to go there. It provides a reasonable alcohol component, satisfying grub and sports with the sound turned down. A good compromise on the right occasion. I was there on a Saturday afternoon during the World Cup. The bar was mostly empty except for a few couples as tables awaiting lunch. I was looking for a quick bite as I selected which TV monitor to watch. I went with their Burger and Fries - a juicy half pounder with Sautéed Onions, Melted Swiss, and a large pile of Fries, and the Columbia v. Greece match. I relaxed with a Domestic Draft awaiting service of my lunch, and chatted with the bartender trainee and her manager. They were friendly, and clearly into their jobs. The Burger was quite satisfying and would qualify as comfort food on those nights when necessary. The price at under $10. for the meal was an excellent deal. I wondered why I did not go there more often, and resolved to remedy that oversight in the near future.

The food is great but the best thing is the happy hour. 2$ wines and other great deals. They have food menu items that are extremely cheap!! It has an okay atmosphere. The service is not that great but the happy hour is completely worth it!
