One of my and my wife's favorite lunch spots. Service is always good and the servers are very friendly. Daily specials are great but our favorite sandwich is the steak tips. Wonderful marinated mushroom sauce. This place certainly deserves a try for lunch if you haven't been there.

Mixxxxx? Mixxx? Good wings. But, staff barely know what drink selection/beers are. Our waitress one night didn't know what an I.P.A. was an continually called it an ippa. Asked for one beer on the board and brought me out a mixed drink. Go to if looking for some wings cooked right in some nice flavors. Buffalo chicken salad is decent, too.

Really comfortable local bar, one complaint: I ordered a long island iced tea, and they made it out of a mix (the liquor, not the nonalcoholic part) - about two shots, and when I asked, the bartender said it was 65 proof and had the same amount of alcohol as a homemade long island, which has 5 shots of 80 proof liquor. I understand if a long Island costs more than a standard cocktail, but if I order one, I want five shots of liquor - this made me feel cheated. Their "long island" was 6.25, so two of them almost came to the amount of alcohol in a real long island, making the cost with tips almost $14 for the deal. Shame, comfortable local bar. There was comfortable outdoor seating where you could smoke, so that was nice. I just wish I didn't feel taken advantage of (after two "long islands", it should not be this easy to type this review, but it is).

A great place and tons of locals. Great food and an extensive list of drinks. This place hands down has the best pork and kraut on earth for your new years meal. Sorry to everyone else but you need to come try it. I've come the last 2 years. Great burgers as well. What can I say, give but a whirl, it's one of my fav hangouts.

Had the chicken cheese steak. I had mostly bread very little dry chicken with 1 slice torn in half of American cheese on it. Since it was takeout. I don't know when chefs realize not to put fries into styrofoam containers. Fries were soggy and had no flavor.

Wow the wings are amazing!!! Crispy but if you like them saucy you must ask for extra. The steak wrap and sliders are can't miss items. The fries are fresh cut which is a bonus. The service has been good on my visits here. Only complaint is that it is a little hard to see the tv screens for sports games, but worth the trip even if my game is not on.

We like Mick's. We have been there many times and with varying numbers of people. There has been the occasional slow service but for the most part it has been great. We usually get the black bean burger, it is delicious. My daughter gets the wings repeatedly so they must be good. She orders the amber. The kids menu is $1.50 and It comes with fries or another side. The burger(which my son gets) is child size but looks hand made and is always juicy and on the thick side( not a flat frozen patty). They have a topping bar on Monday for your burgers which I could do without, but it has a good selection of toppings. I prefer not to carry burger through the restaurant depending where we sit. Someone mentioned the decor. I think it is very different from the previous restaurant and I like the feel. They also will take a reservation for large parties and when we went with 10 (both adults and children) all our food came at around the same time which is pretty rare these days. Would recommend this place.

Second visit and they lose a star. Ouch. My kid took me to dinner at Mick's for Father's Day. Here's why I am updating this review and removing a star. -When we entered no one bothered to greet us even though, and I counted, four employees, two, repeatedly, passed us by. Eventually, what I assume was a hostess greeted us hesitantly, from across the room. Apparently the "check in" place is across the room from the entrance. -My kid got a 8.99 burger with no cheese. Not for $8.99. Oh, and you get chips, fries are extra. The burger, not worth $8.99 even if they had stuffed four dollar bills in between the meat and the bun. -I ordered a Sunday special, Half rack of rubs, fries and cole slaw for $5.99. It's a heck of deal, well, it would be, but it was the smallest, oddest tasting rack of ribs I've ever seen and the sauce was just terrible. Something generally red where someone had dumped in some red pepper just to cover up the fact the sauce itself was tasteless. The fries were great. The cole slaw was pretty good (but served in a little condiment cup). All this comes in a plastic basket lined with tissue paper. And yes, if you don't have the money for a plate and you're a food serving establishment that is not located in a tent, you need to rethink things. -Service was good, but it took awhile to get started. Overall, it seemed as though service was slow and this was in a restaurant which was mostly empty. Overall, this was an experience that would take Mick's off my list of places I'll go to again. The food was middlin, at best, the prices were nothing special, if not high and the service was ok, but just ok. There are better choices in Lancaster.

We desperately need a good cheeseburger and french fries restaurant so badly here in Lancaster that I'm willing to give this place 2 stars..... however it deserves one. At least the hamburger and the fries are edible which is saying a lot more then a lot of the other restaurants in the Lancaster area. It is very dark and extremely loud ........and a great place for one night pick up if you're interested. I'm not. It's expensive for what it offers but its not out of sight. It's on a very busy street. It's a remodel of another restaurant that formerly stood on the same spot. I'm not suggesting you go and eat there, but I'm not warning you to stay away either. As usual the service people do most of the work, the cooks try their hardest, and the owners make the money.

Went to the Mick's on Columbia Ave. three times during the first several months they were open. Always on Saturday night, always had Lager and wings. --I never paid the same price for a pint of Lager -- three visits, three different prices. On the same night of the week each time! --I had heard the owners bragging about the wings, so I tried them each time. Very disappointing! I can get much better wings within a half mile in either direction if I leave Mick's. The place on Columbia Ave. has lousy acoustics -- it's a loud, wooden place -- but for some reason they feel compelled to put a low-budget karaoke D.J. in the corner. Not much singing. Just background music, and not very good. Needless to say, I don't go to Mick's anymore... Edit: Mick's responded to the review with excuses. For the record, my visits included 2013, so this was not two years ago. Here is my response, pasted from what I sent them: "No, the happy hour would not explain why I got three different prices for beer at the same time on three Saturdays. I have a friend whose similar experience has caused him to stop going to Mick's as well. As for the wings, please.... I've eaten wings at dozens of places in SC Pa. -- I made it my mission for several years to sample wings wherever I went. Yours are some of the worst; they aren't even better than the places within five minutes of your Columbia Ave. location. Worst of all, one of my wing orders arrived about two (2) minutes after I placed it. Clearly you are making lots of basic buffalo wings and then dumping seasoning on them as they go out the door. Inexcusable. Especially after all the bragging. Really, really a disappointment!"

Really good food. Quick and friendly service. Atmosphere is nice and I've never had a bad meal here.

When we first moved to the area, we stopped in at micks . We were pretty pleased with the food and service. However, we did wish that they had a few more vegetarian options. About a month ago we saw a sign that they added some new menu items, so we stopped in and guess what- they had veggie burgers ! So needless to say, we love this place! Bartender always remember our drink order and food is great! Nice local pub

Great local hangout! Servers and bartenders are super nice! Food comes out hot every time. I have never been disappointed. I loved the mango gazpacho, wish they made it more!

What a place, used to be Florentinos, seems like this place definitely jumped up a couple levels under new ownership. Great drink specials, also every night has a food special, for example Wednesdays get you tacos and nachos for cheap. Conveniently they offer strong Margaritas for $3 bucks. Seems like the food is fresh, service was good.... Good place to eat in Lancaster!

I thought about going here tonight for dinner but can't get access to their menu since the website forces you to download the app. No preview of menu=no business. UPDATE: Found the menu on my computer and went in after all. Good food and good service! They also fixed the Website for smartphone viewing!!

Good pub food here. Typical burgers and sandwiches. The wings were good for daily specials and happy hour too. The burgers are a bit smaller than other places but cooked well. One star off because the food took quite a while when the restuarant was not full.

I used to be impressed with Mick's, but in the last few months out has really gone downhill. Service has degraded, it can take up to 10 minutes for a server just to come to take your empty glass. Appetizers being served to a table of four, with no small plates, and then having to ask a bus boy to find the waitress. Food quality has really went downhill as well. Serving sirloin in place of tenderloin in the wraps. I will not be returning here again.
(1)Brandon N.
The food was hot, fresh, and extremely flavorful. I would have to say the wings were my favorite (and I know my wings!) - great size with a super crispy outside and tender inside. Nice casual place to grab a quick bite or a drink, but you aren't going to impress anyone by taking them here. The only downfall about this place was the bar "manager" who was extremely loud and very inappropriate in her conversation with her bar patrons. I cannot stress how unprofessional her behavior was during our visit - really made us never want to some back. I would try this place again, but would request to be seated away from the bar area.

Wings and drinks here are good. Prices are reasonable. The location at the Penn Cinema is the most convenient. Dinner, drinks, and a movie all in one trip is well worth it.
(3)David B.
Great place. We had a large party and our food came out quick and the service was great. The name says it. The food is not off the charts but it is good pub food and a nice place for a casual night out.
(4)Karen W.
Met some friends here for dinner on a weekend. Atmosphere was nice although loud, which is expected for a pub/bar. Food was just ok, nothing to write home about. I got the sirloin tips asked for med rare and got med well. Lager on tap was stale. Service was ok but slower than I can tolerate and I'm usually very forgiving esp on busy nights. Prob won't go here again.

This has got to be one of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten! The staff was extremely helpful and was happy to explain the menu. I ended up with a sandwich that had coleslaw, thin roasted chicken breast, thin roasted beef, and onion rings all on a pretzel roll with a side of home cut fries. Sadly I had to go back to lunch so I was unable to have the beer with it.

I have been here a few times. We enjoy the staff and drink specials. The first time I went. I had the prime rib, which is their speciality. It's delicious! However, u can tell they use the leftovers for their sandwiches the day after. The French dip and Cuban were very dry, as are their wings. The do have burger soecials, which are juicy and done right, including a toppings bar. The price was ok, mid-range. It was pretty clean, and even the bathrooms were spotless. We go here now for the beer on tap variety and burgers.

Mick's is a pretty cool neighborhood bar. Everyone there knew each other and were quite friendly. For dinner I had the buffalo chicken salad - it had french fries in it - can you believe there is a salad that has french fries? Good food, I was an instant fan. The service was good, bartenders were nice and easy on the eyes.

Here's the thing: we were in the mood for burgers and fatty stuff. After looking at the menu and pulling my purse strings, I got the tomato soup and half sand (turkey/gravy/white bread) for lunch. The boyfriend ordered the onion soup and hot wings. I kept thinking my meal was mildy elderly, but I didn't need to stuff myself silly! An added bonus was that my meal came with fries. Our server was REAL friendly,(at first) and progressively got more and more distant to the point that the other servers and bartender, and even maybe the owner was working our table. We think this person may have had an attention problem, The soup was excellent - both had the croutons under the layer of cheese (the menu should have talked this point up). Like I said, we were in the mood for fatty fat fat food, so we coulda used more cheese. I figured the dish washer complained that scrubbing bubbling cheese over the crock was not in his job description, so they held back in his/her honor. My open turkey was NOT super fresh, kinda dry, and the menu never said over white wonder bread. His wings were dry as a bone, and I think wings are supposed to be drippy, sloppy little bones to suckle on, so the boyf was sad. The "blue cheese" was a $1, but was mostly ranch dressing with a couple crumbles of blue cheese. It seems like all I talk about is cheese, huh? Here's the main reason for our worries: the fries were lukewarm, slightly damp, and flavorless, if but for tasting like old oil. For a place that wants to be a pub featuring fries all over thier menu, we truly think that they should be worthy. The end.

ATMOSPHERE: Almost nonexistent. The new owner did almost nothing to change the inside (or outside) of this restaurant from it's previous incarnation, Fiorentino's. Sparse and cheap, not to mention overly loud...and it wasn't even busy. PROS: Very few. The burgers and fries my friends ordered looked nice and they said they tasted "ok", but weren't anything special. Our server was average. CONS: Drinks were very weak and the bartender couldn't make a decent frozen margarita, we actually had to send it back because it had no flavor at all. My friend's chicken stromboli was dry and didn't have much inside it. I ordered a white pizza with tomatoes and it has absolutely NO flavor at all. Let me make this perfectly clear, this was, by far, the WORST pizza I have ever had! It didn't taste like anything...just terrible. Also, the pickle fries came right of a bag and weren't very good either. It also took a very long time for the food and drinks to come, even though there were only 2 tables with people at them. Everything about this place and meal smacks of trying to save money by cutting corners and not caring about much else, especially food quality. I eat out several times a week and know what to look for in a good restaurant...Mick's has no redeeming qualities at all. TERRIBLE. WILL I GO BACK: Never again.

I waited until eating here 4 times before leaving a review. Went 3 times with my wife and once with the family. This place has become one of our favorites when we are in the mood for wings, good sandwiches and a few beers. For a new place the service and food is really good. Always friendly and helpful. We have never had a problem but twice we were seated near someone who had an issue. Management (the owner, I believe) was right there making things things right and making sure the customers were happy. If you like good beer, they have a better-than-average selection and always ask what seasonals they have that aren't on the menu. We are big fans of Mick's. It's a vast improvement over the previous restaurant at that location. Wheelchair access is pretty good and they have been great about letting us choose the table that would work best for us.

Wings are amazing(We got the Maryland and Amber Sauces). Great drink and food specials throughout the week. Waitress was very nice as well.

This was our 3rd trip here and neither my wife nor I have anything negative to say about Mick's. Awesome selection of salads and sandwiches. The blackened chicken and smoked cheddar salad is my favorite thus far. I love the fact that the kids menu is all ala carte (you actually can order by the chicken nugget) which is great because I never know what my 5 year old is going to eat. I was a little reluctant to try this place when it moved into the Fiorentino's building on Columbia avenue but this is quickly becoming the fall back place to go when we're looking to grab a bite for dinner.

The food was not prepared well. Just plain pub food.
