Dine-in was just okay. The filet mignon sandwich wasn't that good, a little bland and greasy. The fries were nothing special either. The appetizer sample was pretty good but the cheesesteak egg rolls were incredibly disappointing. My parents seemed to enjoy the salad bar but I didn't want any. The real value of Garfield's is getting your meal, desserts, and drinks delivered to you poolside. Nothing quite like a root beer float at the pool.

The service was great and the food was right on the money. I would definitely recommend this place

I had the lunch buffet with pizza, pasta and salad bar. While I wasn't blown away with amazing pizza and breadsticks, it was good and the price of $10 wasn't bad. I left satisfied and our server was very friendly.

We came here while staying at Eden Resort and had dinner our first night there. The food was just okay, your basic bar fare, but the price wasn't terrible so no biggie. The waitress was nice but nothing special. On the second day, we ordered pizza to the room as a late night snack and it was VILE. The pizza was undercooked and the bottom of the pizza box was drenched in grease. The restaurant does provide poolside drink and food service which is a plus but you're honestly probably better off going elsewhere.

Went there for the prime rib... they were out. Decided to have the filet (medium) and chicken. Wife and mom-in-law had they NY strip (medium rare). When the waitress came by and asked whether everything was ok, I pointed out that my filet was well done. Turns out that the other steaks were also way over cooked. After my mom-in-law chewed through a really bad NY strip, my wife finally got a properly cooked steak, and their second try at a medium filet was RARE, I was tired of bad food and decided to give up. In the end, I got a free dessert that I didn't really want to compensate for the bad food. The waitress was as nice as she could be. Even with the nice waitress and the free dessert, I would never recommend this place to anyone. It's expensive, and it dosen't make sense to pay a lot for food that is not prepared correctly.

Service was adequate - not terribly friendly but fine. Food was mediocre at best. Grilled chicken taco salad with very little chicken pre-cooked and cold on top of a bunch of iceberg lettuce and tomatoes. No better than if I bought pre-cooked cut chicken in the grocery store and threw it on lettuce, tomatoes and cheese at home.

We were hungry and checked out Trip Advisory for suggestions and stumbled on this. Great service, good food, unlimited curly fries! We ordered the cheesesteak egg rolls $7.95 & wings $8.95, see pics.

Not has good as it use to be. Me and my wife ordered dinner I ordered a NY strip steak well done (okay I know I lost a few people with that) got the steak with blood pouring out of it. Sent it back my wife ate her dinner and she is a slow eater and I am still waiting for my steak never got it. However they did offer me a slice of pizza.

Came here for my husband's birthday. Our waitress said birthday persons meal is 1/2 off, so that was a pleasant surprise! We both got burgers - while it was a big burger it wasn't worth $10. Probably won't go back as we weren't very impressed with anything about the place except the discount.

I remember in the 90's this was the place to be. If you had an important business dinner - it was held at Garfield's, date night was at Garfield's, family celebrations - Garfield's. This was the IT place. Always good food and a long wait. Flash forward to 2015 - went there on a Thursday night around 6 pm. The Eden had tons of guest's cars in the lot, and the traffic was crazy outside. You'd think Garfield's would be hopping right? WRONG! There were 3 occupied tables (us included) the entire hour plus we were there. An overabundance of employees putted around with nothing to do. The salad bar was stocked but no one touched it. A sad, sad scene..... The food was a more simple fare then I remembered in the 90's - similar to a Friendly's menu. But the food was good and fair priced. Although it wasn't bad it wasn't memorable either. I wouldn't make a trip back for the hot turkey sandwich concoction I had and the fries were clearly frozen and from a bag. I hope they can recapture the magic they once had in the 90's, if not, Garfield's might be a thing of the past.

Not so great... Found the menu and ambiance a bit misleading. Nothing seemed fresh that ordered (taco salad, cheesesteak eggs rolls, chicken walnut salad, nachos. In the Sports bar two staff members were complaining about their job in front of me and took a couple minutes to finish their conversation before asking me if I would like to order. They did seem over worked from all the bar orders from the outdoor pool. Best to find a local outside restaurant. I'd recommend even an Applebee's or maybe just order a pizza from Domino's.

While staying at the best western BTW the hotel is great best hotel on lancaster. Wife and I had dinner and drinks decor is fine nothing to write home about but clean and had nice bar. We had apple martini and beer both were great. For dinner my wife had the chicken pot pie it was great. Crust on top was funny shape but the taste was on the money. I had a burger it was flame broiled with great crust and flavor and cooked to order. I would love see how the steak is Would recommend and would go back.

This is about as bad as restaurants get. I'm staying in the hotel attached which is very nice from what I've seen so far but that's another review. Anyway, I got the pot roast dinner which came with red bliss mashed potatoes and a vegetable and I added the soup/salad bar to my dinner. Let's start with the salad bar. GROSS!!!!!! Not one thing on the salad bar is prepared in house, it's crappy bagged iceberg lettuce mix, canned olives, everything was dumped out of a can or bag or scooped out of a bucket, absolutely disgusting. As do the soup section, the chili was pretty good but the tomato soup looked like it's been there for 2 weeks. As for the meal, the pot roast was very tender but it tasted like mutton not beef, very strong flavor, the canned or jarred gravy they use did not help, the potatoes were an interesting mix of boxed potato mix ( 100% sure of this ) and a few pieces of real potato mixed in, pretty nasty, the vegetable was gross soggy frozen broccoli. My wife got a French onion soup, looked good but very very salty. She also got a taco salad, what a mess, it was a taco shell bowl with all the crap on the salad bar and a broken up hamburger patty. No taco seasoning. We could still see that it was a hamburger patty, pretty nasty. DONT GO HERE!!!!!

Absolutely unimpressive for the the resort it resides in. The Eden is a top notch resort that I enjoy staying at every week for work travels. Garlfield's is a huge disappointment. The food is clearly frozen food warmed in a microwave, vegetables are served cold. I have yet to have a satisfying meal from this establishment. Huge thumbs down.

Had the filet (medium) & chicken & filet (medium) & crab cake. Both were overcooked, but one was cooked to DEATH! Asked for another. Next one was even MORE cooked but looked like a bigger & better piece of meat so we just kept it. Food here is extremely mediocre. The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is because the waitress was very apologetic & nice. She was visibly very upset that the food was not cooked properly. Obviously not her fault, you can't hold it against her. I will never return unless it were free & I were starving, & neither should you! LOL!

Ate in and had good service and food was good. Had hickory chicken only complaint was it was greasy. Son and hubby did burgers. Management walked around and made sure everyone was OK, buffet and salad bar were refilled. Ordered from room service dessert one night and now lunch. Lunch was an excellent meal all around chicken tenders were homemade; cooked well and portions were huge. Could of split one order between hubby and son and that is saying something. But the filet sandwich was amazing. This is not a steak place in fact other restaurant in the hotel is known more for steak and prime rib. Well the filet was cooked perfect , broke apart melted like butter. One of the best sandwiches . And prices are very reasonable.

Good service, clean place, bad food. Filet was flavorless & tiny, about half the size of the burger. Ribs were all fat & I couldn't eat it. Sent it back for a burger that was clearly frozen due to the after taste. Thankfully I filled up on beer. Wouldn't recommend.

While staying at the Eden Resort for a few days I found myself in need of some food. I decided to go to Garfield's. There were about five people at the bar and still it took a while for the bartender to tend to me. I asked for a beer which was pretty good. Took a while for me to place an order. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger. It took almost a half hour for my burger to arrive. The burger unseasoned and dry. The fries were cold! I'd expect this from the chicken spot back home but for a sit in restaurant and at these prices that burger was unacceptable. On the bright side the bacon was great and the fries tasted as if they were also great when they were warm. Went there another night and asked for a sirloin burger. The service was a little better this time but the food was mediocre once again. At least the fries were warm this time. The burger was super rare and once again unseasoned. Overall the place had a nice townie feel and the prices were reasonable but the quality of the food kills the place. Nice place to sit and grab a beer if you happen to be staying in the resort but I would look elsewhere for grub.
