Loved this place. Staff was kind and chatty, and the food was absolutely delicious. Everything is clearly homemade and the ingredients are incredibly fresh and vibrant. The bathrooms were spotless as well!

With a new owner came some changes; prices increases, changes in delivery practices, and some downgrading of ingredients that changed the flavor of some of my favorite dishes. When you voice a compliant the owner is arguementive and makes you feel uncomfortable. I've since stopped patronizing and am disappointed by the changes, as are my coworkers who were fans as well. This had good bones to become a really good hot spot and I am saddened by the new owners vision and direction this place took.

Went here for lunch because the reviews were so good. The chicken Caesar wrap was delicious and my husband LOVED his mushroom Swiss burger! All fresh ingredients and you can definitely tell. The owner came out to talk with us and had us try his homemade jalapeño coleslaw that he makes for the pulled pork sandwiches. Now we will absolutely have to try that the next time! Seriously a great place!

What a find in Downtown Lancaster.....tenderloin tips sandwich was the best. The fries are sooo good also. Make sure you stop in.....the Owner throw in a cookie for the kids also. We will definitely be back.....thank you.

Slow slow slow. My 30 minute lunch break was gone before I even got my food. Food was good, but WAY overpriced for what it is.

I had a burger, and order of cheese fries and my total was $19? The owner yelled at a customer while I was waiting for my food. Really??? The fries are horrible. Way over seasoned and hardly any cheese, The burger was small and really just mediocre. Items were served in paper containers. The place was opened by someone else that made an amazing burger and the new guy is just trying to keep the place running, I guess. I would not return. A 10" pizza costs anywhere from $9.99-$14.99. That is insane considering they don't have a brick oven pizza.

Best cheeseburger i've ever tried, place has a lot of parking and the staff very nice i was ate three times a week, i missed this place because i left to Harrisburg

Good food, but service is very slow & menu is over priced. It is difficult to justify price without service.

The burger was great. They truely respect what medium rare should be which is rare these days (pardon the pun). Also the fries are fresh out of this world probably the best I have ever had. They are fresh cut and have ground pepper on them and are worth the drive alone but when you combo them with the fantastic burgers then you truely have a knockout combo. I will defiantly be back although my diet will hate me for it.

Heads up for families with kids... They probably won't like the pizza unless they are used to some heat, as in hot, peppery heat. And truthfully, as an adult, it was even a little much for me. We recently moved to Lancaster and were looking for a good pizza place to walk to, we ended up at Four54. The service was very friendly and attentive. My husband, teen daughter, and I ordered a large veggie pizza to split. After a half a slice, my daughter's mouth was numb from the heat, so I went up to the counter and ordered a plain cheese pizza to go. My husband and I thought it was very good, but I did think the heat was a little much, especially with no warning. There was black pepper all over the pizza and it seems as if some heat in the sauce, too, but figured it was because it was a veggie pizza. We were very disappointed when we got home opened the plain cheese pizza to go up and it had ground black pepper all over it, too! My daughter dived in anyway thinking it would be fine because it was just a plain cheese pizza, but the same thing happened, numb mouth from the heat, she couldn't eat it. :( While we may go there to try their other dishes, this won't be our pizza place.

We don't normally give 5 stars, but this place really impressed us. My burger was fantastic & my wife's tuna salad sandwich was very good too. We've already planned a return trip. Actually got a return trip in before my review was posted. We had the buffalo wings and enjoyed every bite of them. We'll be back again.

Great food, great people, couldn't ask for anything more. You MUST try the Jalapeno cole slaw, there is nothing else like it! I have eaten there 4 or 5 times and never been disappointed. The food is fresh and delicious.

Hands down the best tenderloin tip sandwich I have had. Great place, big menu, freash food and good service gives this little place on the edge of the city 5 stars.

We expected dull kids-oriented food, since the restaurant was next to the Science Museum. Instead we discovered a diverse and delicious menu. The bacon burger was tender and tasty, and the fries were very very good. Best of all was the incredibly friendly service. They let us taste the salsa to be sure it wasn't too spicy for us, and when they saw we had small children they made sure to have the kids' food ready first...AND they even provided them with a complementary cookie. The next time we visit Lancaster we will definitely eat here!

Nice gem to stumble upon. Food is good and portions are huge. 3 stars only because parking is an issue and many times I can't find a spot in the small lot.

You owe it to yourself to check this place out. I've been staying at the hotel next door for much of the last 2 weeks and have found some great meals in the area. But this place really was a pleasant surprise. Excellent menu, great guys, service and atmosphere. Check it out, you will not be disappointed.

Had a fantastic Burger here, it was the teriyaki w/roasted jalapeno ..They have the formula down, fresh ground angus cooked to my preferred medium rare. The owner was friendly and wanted to make sure I was happy with my meal. I was pleased and look forward to returning.

We tried Four54 last night after reading the great reviews on yelp. If I had loved my burger, I would've given this place 5 stars :) I had the teriyaki burger with jalapeños... I did not find the teriyaki flavors to be strong enough, but loved the cucumber dill topping. Tried the jalapeños, but the heat just ruined the dish for me. On a positive note, the fresh cut fries were awesome... Seasoned really well with salt & pepper. Small size was plenty for 2 to share. Hubby had the tenderloin tips sandwich, which was amazing, I will be getting that next time! Wow. We started with splitting a Caesar sale, which was plenty. Yummy, including fresh and warm croutons and fresh shaved parm cheese. Wish they had some gluten free bread options. Order at counter and they bring it to you... Casual but not cafeteria like.. Inside was nice and welcoming.

$6 for a six inch chicken cheese steak? $8 for Frozen burger with a single slice of cheese? Better be good. It was not! Everything we had was waaay over seasoned with pepper. The BBQ Gouda sounded good but was lacking flavor other than the strange tasting frozen patty. The chicken cheesesteak was not good either. Was expecting better considering the reviews.

Unfortunately, like the two restaurants at the same location before it, this place started great and went downhill. I went two days ago and ordered the salmon sandwich I raved about in my last post. Last time I was there, it was $7.95. I ordered same thing today and it was $10.95. It may have been underpriced before so I understood. Until my sandwich came out, literally, the shape of a hot dog. I had this looong skinny piece of salmon on a round bun. I thought I was being punked. The place is empty at lunch time now, I never have to wait anymore. And unfortunately, my office mates have stopped going too. Sad because we all loved this place. Oh and they play FOX news on the TV, I shall never return.

Conveniently located next to the Cork Factory Hotel, this locally owned grill has it all on the menu for every size and taste. It's low on atmosphere and goes very big on fresh and delicious! The burger was probably the best I've had anywhere. They cut their fries on site. I added steak tenderloin tips to the spinach salad and it was amazing, mouth watering. What a pleasant surprise we had here while on a family vacation in Lancaster. So worth it, we ate here twice!
(4)Ilio R.
The cheese steak was nothing like my Philly but everything else is some of the best I had will be back to try more
(5)Melisalyn A.
Was not bad, a little cheap on the topping for the loaded fries, and the burger and cheese steak were a little over cook,
(3)Jaime K.
I decided to visit here when I was back in town and it has definitely changed. I got the American burger I believe and it was cooked ok but almost $8.50 for just a burger with no sides or a drink? Uhhhhhh....

This place is great!!! Came here on a rainy weekend after spending the day at a museum in Lancaster. The location is a bit difficult to spot. It is not located in one of the larger buildings but right before them. On to the restaurant. Upon walking in you notice the kitchen with the menu hanging up above. The staff is friendly and the food is out of this World!!! We ordered the Loaded Fries as a side. My Mom and I both agreed that these were the best fries we have ever had!!!!! The Fries were seasoned perfectly and the cheese, bacon, and Ranch Dressing made these the best fries ever!!! I give them a 99 out of 10 that's how good they were!!!! For the main course we both got burgers I got the BBQ Gouda Burger. It was amazing, the bun was spot on, and the burger itself bursted with flavor!!!!!!!! My Mom ordered the Texas Burger. She loved it and when I tried it I wished I could have gotten that burger too!!! It was soooooo good!!!!!!!! I will definitely be going back to Four54, the staff is friendly and the food is phenomenal. Highly Recommended.

Yum! I got a cheesesteak and fries, and I was very happy with both. In fact, their fries are the best I've had in Lancaster. Fresh cut and perfectly crispy! My only somewhat negative critique would be that my husband ordered a chicken cheesesteak and the chicken was shredded, not chipped. It tasted fantastic, don't get me wrong.... We are just used to the Philly style chipped chicken cheesesteak. Service was great, and the take out was ready on time. Definitely a great place for a Saturday night meal!

I stepped inside for the first time, and the presentation of the place was really nice. The menu was big and easy to read! Service was nice and the owner/workers there were nice and friendly (not intimidating) and well organized. The food was very good and fresh, I got their fresh cut fries, which were some of the best I have ever had, and an American Cheeseburger. The burgers there are a unique style, and the beef had A TON of flavor. It was nothing like a Five Guys burger or a Shake Shack burger, it was different but in a good way (more like a home style burger). But then the next two times I went there, I got the Blackened Teriyaki Burger, and let me tell you.. it was AMAZING! The whole Jalapeños on top were key, and the patty was SO JUCY! I recommend this burger highly! So next time you are in town, make sure you hit this place up!

I am a repeat customer for Four54 Grill. I find the food has character. Today I enjoyed the pulled pork sandwich. It was delicious. I started out ordering the ham & gruyere. I was advised the pulled pork would put a smile on my face. It was a great call. I loved the texture of the pork and the flavors of the marinade and the jalapeno slaw. You might say there are restaurants and then there are restaurants. You get fresh food here. You get food prepared thoughtfully. You can relax in shorts, a tee and flip flops. You know this establishment cares about what it does and who it serves. I live 90 mins away and do business in Lancaster. This is a treasure and I will be heading back. Well done Four54. Well done indeed. Best wishes.

I never write a review but I had to I just never had pizza this bad. I order a large pizza to go because what I saw on their website looked good. Oh man was I wrong I'm staying in the hotel next to it so I though I would try this pizza, it could be a good pizza if they just change the dough, sauce is a 3 out of 5,cheese is just regular cheese it can't be that bad but the dough is like a -20. I have one week left at the hotel if I want pizza I'll go somewhere else. The service is horrible the place seem to be dead no customer where there the staff was just eating and texting, I paid cash and the guy who took my money went and grabbed a bum no gloves no hand washed after he grabbed my cash.

All the food was fresh, hot, and delicious. Since we were part of a large group they had a hard time getting all our food out in a timely manner. Very kind staff. Courteous. Clean. Great place after visiting the Lancaster Science Factory.

This place has the atmosphere of a pizza shop. Overly expensive and everything is extra. $9 for a burger and another $4 for French fries. Add a drink and you have an easy $20 lunch. As a comparison, right across the street you can get a bacon cheddar burger with fries for $10. Only prob they are not open for lunch.

Went here for lunch based on the reviews. I was neither disappointed not impressed. Mostly with my issue is with the "value for the money". I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich (the Club I think) and a small french fry. The sandwich was $8.79 (or something like that) and came with no sides. No pickle, chips, slaw etc. It was also a very small chicken breast for the price. Everything was al a carte. And the prices for a small side weren't all that great. A small side of slaw was like, $3. They were out of nearly all bags of chips except for a few flavors and only big bags. (Apparently they didn't get their shipment-not their fault of course). So I ordered fries. The fries were soggy, but hot. How that happens, I don't know. They were also sprinkled with a lot of oregano. I didn't eat many of them for this reason and I didn't bother to ask for fresh fries (is this a regional thing: the oregano)? All told, including a drink, my bill was $15. All in all neither food nor value would send me back. They claim to have the best burger in town. Perhaps I should have gone with that.

454 is one of my favorite spots to grab lunch. I actually crave it most days. The quality of the food is above most other places in the city. No processed meat to be found. The chicken salads have real chicken breast, rather than processed strips. My favorite is the tenderloin sub. The burgers are also delicious. The only two downsides are time and price. I'll gladly pay the price due to the incredible quality of ingredients, but sometimes I really have to budget my lunch hour to be able to get my food in time to eat it.

I love this place! The Texas burger is one of the best I've ever had, the sweet onion marmalade is out of this world. They have great, fresh cut fries and their beer battered onion rings are excellent too. Their pizza is different, kind of on the spicy side but if you're in the mood for a sandwich, this is a top choice.
(5)Sabrina B.
This place was such a terrific find while on vacation. The owners are the nicest and were so patient with our little ones, giving them a huge piece of paper to color on, conversation, tips about the area, and cookies on the way out, not to mention very fresh tasting dinner for all of us. Definitely worth traveling away from the hotel to try new food when you're not home!
(5)Mike S.
Best cheesesteak I've had in a long time. My wife is from Philly and raved about my cold leftovers (dang it!) Anyway, well worth the price! Owners were very nice and I just had a nice time with my son. Thanks!

We tried this spot over the weekend when looking for a new pet-friendly spot, and we found a great place that turned out to be really close to where I work, which means I'll be visiting them during the lunch hour. We had the bacon & cheddar burger, cheesesteak, and cheese fries. They accidentally made loaded fries instead of cheese fries, which we had no complaints about- these were awesome. My burger was great- I was a little worried about the size of the patty because they said it would be a 17-min cook time to get it well-done, so I was worried it was going to be a gigantic burger that's impossible to eat, but it turned out to be a good size- smaller in diameter but with a nice, thick patty. Really easy to eat. We were a little bummed out about the cheesesteak because we're used to Philly-style cheesesteaks without any red sauce, but knowing that the red sauce is pretty common out here we decided to try it. The sauce was like a chunky tomato sauce and it kinda tasted like we were eating lasagna in a roll, which was delicious, but just not what we were expecting. Aside from that, they brought out water for our puppy and the owner even wanted to bring out trimmings for our puppy, but they had just given all their trimmings away the day before so they grilled up some chicken and chopped it up for our dog instead- talk about pet friendly! I found the restaurant to be well-maintained, lots of interesting items on the menu that I want to try out, really friendly staff, and very clean inside. I feel like this place is a bit on the pricey side, but I think it's justified due to the quality of the ingredients and the great service. At first glance it seems like a pretty humble neighborhood spot with standard food, but it turned out to be much more but also pricier. It's kinda like going into a 5 Guys expecting McDonald's prices. Once you've been there though, you understand the higher prices because the level of the food is that much better. Will definitely be back to try more!
