The stay was absolutely amazing. As advertised. Clean, and we had no problems. Arrived on Thanksgiving day and mentioned to the owners that we were looking forward to the hammock. They told us it was down for the winter but reminded us about the Gazebo which was just fine for us (it is winter). Next morning: the owner had put up the hammock for us! We also left an iphone charger which they found and mailed to us before we even knew it was missing. Definitely stay again and recommend without hesitation. Five stars.

What a great place. Owners are so friendly and welcoming. They go out of their way to make sure your stay is enjoyable. You feel like you are in your own home. They don't hover over you, but they are available if you need anything, want to chat or need information about the area. There are only 3 rooms at this B&B. Each room is decorated beautifully. The entire property is immaculate. There was not a speck of dust anywhere! Breakfast was delicious. we were served juice, coffee/tea, fresh fruit, some homemade cakes and an egg dish that was almost like a souflee. Yummy!! There was also cookies and other snacks left out during the day and evening. Coffe and tea are also available anytime. We already made another reservation to stay here again.

We stayed on a Wed and Thurs nite--weather was nice for this time of year (late March)--Ruth and Don were super hosts and couldn't have been nicer. As someone else might have mentioned, they pretty much let you do your own thing, but they are there if you need them--they live in a small part of the downstairs and there are 4 public rooms downstairs (large dining room, a TV room ,a small room for puzzles and games, and a living room) The rooms are upstairs--we had a queen with adjoining bath. It is a little out in the country, so hearing a rooster and an occasional cow across the road is possible (adds to the ambiance). Ruth prepared the breakfasts for us (omelets, waffles, etc.) and we had some long, pleasant conversations with her about the area. Yes, they are religious people, but it was not at all intrusive and we did not find that at all objectionable, since we talked about other things (wife is more of a conversationalist than me) Learned a lot and we will likely stay there again if we are in the area.

Nice enough place to stay, small, good location. Owners were pleasant and accomodated my dietary needs for breakfast. Only thing I would say to be aware of is that they appear to be quite religious. I was not prepared that there would be prayer before the meal.

We had a great time! The owners Don & Ruth made us feel right at home. If you want to come experience Lancaster County and the Amish country this is the place to stay. A very relaxing atmosphere and Ruth's cooking is awesome. You can tell they love what they do and have the gift of hospitality. We will be back!
