Definitely my top 5 in Lancaster, wings are bomb, service is great, sandwiches amazing and even the salads are superb. This place has a true dedicated chef who cares about quality and freshness. Highly recommend it.

Second time here and it was packed on a Thursday night, but we waited about 20 minutes for a table. The wings were big and crispy and the tropical sauce was the beat and the southwest was second. Only problem was that it took forever for the fish tacos to come out and it wasn't even good and the soup was not that greater either. Just come here for the wings and you won't be disappointed.

i came down to Lancaster a few months ago to see a band play and American Bar and Grill was the venue for the show. i didn't really know what to expect of the place, but when my friends and i got there it turned out to be a nice clean punk rock sports bar. the menu looks great and i'd love to try more items from it but when i was here i only got an order of wings, which were very good. i went with the Tropical ones and i traded with a friend for one of his medium buffalo ones and those were really good too. my friend ordered a burger and fries. he let me have a few fries and those were good, but he ordered his burger medium and it looked well done, but he said it didn't matter because it was still very juicy anyways. they have pretty good deals at this place, and it's really cool that they have bands play, but be warned, it gets very crowded in here when bands play. i definitely hope to return here in the future.

I frequent this bar 1-2 times per week. Great place to grab wings but overall so many good options on the menu. The staff is super friendly, the music is great, and it's the perfect place to meet with friends for a drink!

Awesome spot, great food and good service. Everyday they have specials on good and drinks that you can't beat. Go there at least once every week or two and never disappoints. Only downfall is how busy and crowded they are so get there early!

Great .40cent wings with the biggest selection of sauces in the area, decent atmosphere, great selection of drinks. Only reason for the 4 stars is the service was slower, but not horrible.

One of my favorite places to hang out. Great servers, always excellent food. Every night is 40 cent wing night. Monday nights are $1.00 empanada night and they are fantastic, Tuesday is $1.00 taco night which are awesome too. Every night has it's own bar special. A great neighborhood bar. Only complaint is it's too small and sometimes hard to find seating, but that's only because it's so popular!

This is my new favorite Wing Place!! 40 cents a wing isn't bad!!! (Everynight of the week!) There are a lot of different wing sauces but my fav is the Suicide Wings! I love hot wings and these are what I crave! There is also and awesome draft beer selection here well beyond bud/miller/lager which I love too! They also have some really good daily specials but I haven't been able to order anything else besides wings cuz they are that good! French fries here are awesome too so get an order of them with your wings!

Love going here for wings and their Carolina Pork BBQ. Staff is always friendly and you never feel rushed. Tried brunch for the first time on Sunday and would highly recommend it. Our group had the creamed chipped beef over homefries, an omelet, and wings and fries. All of us were extremely happy and full. Best of all it gives us another reason to stop at ABG.

I love big juicy wings for cheap & so far this place is the best in Lancaster. They have 40c wings I think every night as I saw. The waitresses are very kind. I was in last night & ordered there Teriyaki wings & a Cherry coke. When I was finished w/my soda she gladly skipped over to me & refilled it without me having to ask. So sweet. I was very impressed and will continue to go back for the wonderful service & great food.

Okay, I don't even drink and we still go here at least 2x/week. We work late every night and don't get out until after all the other restaurants in Lancaster are closed. Thank God for ABaG. Their kitchen is open until midnight! It is always a pleasure to go there just to eat from their fabulous gourmet menu. This isn't just another dive bar. The kitchen staff is creative and focuses on flavor! The menu has all my fave comfort foods, including delicious fish tacos and crab mac & cheese! The bar menu is so extensive we always have trouble deciding what to get. Their .40 wings come with 10 different sauce options, and every night there is a food and beer special. It gets extremely loud in there especially when there is live music, but the place is lively, and the food is delish! If you are lucky enough to go there when Jason the bartender is on duty, he will sketch on your styrofoam take out tray. So talented!

I've only been at ABG once, so take this review with a grain of salt. At some point, I'll update the review, but for now, here's the consensus: Came in with a couple of friends who already liked the place, and ordered a few drinks. The drinks were pretty tasty and the service was funny (our waiter reminded me of Charlie from It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia). We ended up ordering a few bar food. Each of them is only $5 each. I recommend getting the calamari (the plate is HUGE) and the clams (plate is also huge). I'd stay away from the Philly Cheese Steak Rolls. You only get 4 rolls and it wasn't fantastic. All in all, I'd go there again.

Feels like a neighborhood corner bar with food that is way better than bar food. Had a few drinks (very well made) and started with the wings that everyone talks about. Probably my second favorite in Lancaster next to Quips wings. Next, got fire roasted oysters which were amazing, and seared tuna. I usually wouldn't order seafood at a bar but I'm so glad I did. Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.

I drove right past this place, but don't be put off by the unassuming exterior or the non-descript neighborhood -- your faith will be rewarded. Interesting menu, well-prepared food, and a cool vibe make this a standout place for casual dining. A strong beer selection also. On my recent visit, our server was helpful and attentive, even though the place was getting crowded. You get the feeling that this AB&G is run by people who care, and pay attention to detail. This could be the neighborhood joint of my dreams. Only downside I can see is the somewhat limited seating.

This place is decent, good atmosphere, ok food, really good specials, good service. My complaint is that we were a group of 9 and the server said we couldn't have separate checks, so we each had to estimate our own bill, tell the server to put that on our card then at the end the people with cash paid the leftover and we all had to throw in a couple bucks to make sure it evened out and had a tip in there...? I have worked in the food industry 11 years of my life and never came across anything so backward. Eh.

went in on a Saturday afternoon....barmaid was friendly but a little slow.....at one point we waited more than 10 minutes for a drink refill and there were only 3 customers at the bar (no one in the dining area)....food came quick...we only got cheese steak spring rolls and fries......very tasty, not your typical bar food....a little pricey so won't go back too often, but we will go back

The blue cheese sauce is creamy with thick chunks of mild bleu cheese crumbles. We have greatly enjoyed the food at ABG several times since our last (not so pleasant) experience in February. Our first visit back was for lunch & Shane was our server. He is awesome! Friendly & attentive. The food was really great! My husband loves their BBQ wings & tenderloin tip sandwich. I try to have something new each time & on that visit enjoyed the fish tacos. The fries are "to die for". At today's visit we were again beyond pleased with the food (wings, tenderloin tip sandwich, BBQ sandwich & a chicken BBQ pizza) & the service was good. It takes a little while to receive your food after it is ordered but we know they are making it fresh to order.

ABG, is a very loud, not at all fancy, back alley kind of place. Don't expect fancy. That said it's the kind of place anyone is welcome and no snobbery is present. They have daily specials that remain the same each week, i.e. grilled fish tacos on Thursday. Wings are $.50 each after 4 or 5 pm. The wings are GREAT! Nice and crispy, Yummy flavor selections- I love the medium, garlic Parmesan, medium garlic parm combo, and the Thai peanut. Nachos, crab dip, seafood Mac and cheese and fish tacos are also tasty.

This joint is a diamond in the rough!! Was in the area and checked yelp for a place to get some grub and this place was close by and had good reviews so the trek began! Had brunch and it was amazing! I ate french toast with bacon and a side of home fries with mimosas. The french toast was fluffy and not heavy, the bacon was fresh and and a decently thick cut but not jerky, coulda been a bit crunchier but that's a personal preference, I still gobbled it up! The home fries were so yummy and a little crunchy giving it good texture with just a little crunch. The mimosas were perfect, decent sweet with enough kick to remind you it is a mimosa. The service was pretty good too, our "waiter" was attentive, polite, and a pretty regular guy. The place looks kinda sketchy at first but the food was shockingly good! I can't wait to come back and take a stab at these wings everyone keeps talking about! ****Update**** So a few things to add onto the above, I rated the price a bit high before I actually saw my receipt (face palm). Second the "waiter" in the pic is awesome! I asked about ordering more home fries but they were out. A few minutes later after he brought the check he came back with this tiny bowl of the last remaining home fries in the building. SOFA KING AWESOME! I am sooooo sold on this place. I just wish they were local so I could be a regular.

Wow. This place you will not find by accident. Its situated on a road not heavily traveled. Walking in first thing I noticed was the bar was predominantly men. Decor was rock. Eclectic rock. Skateboards. Lots of conversations by patrons. Sat at the bar and ordered beer on tap. Only because I wanted red wine but they offer only Shiraz and Cabernet. I prefer Noir or Merlot. The menu was simple but different. The pork sliders ROCKED. also enjoyed the cheese steak rolls. Hung out a little while and enjoyed the ambience. Will be back!

The best cheesesteak around. You will not find a better one anywhere in Lancaster. Just amazing. Their wings? Delicious. White Chicken Chili? So good. Chicken Pesto pizza? Absolutely addictive. Crab dip? OMG. Burgers? So good. ABG is such a fun, neighborhood kind of bar. The bartenders are top notch. Excellent customer service. This is the kind of place you can just drop in for a couple of beers and a burger, or maybe stay there the entire night, possibly checking out some live music. This is an absolute gem in Lancaster. It's worth a visit.

Big fan of the daily specials. Empanadas on Monday, Taco Tuesday and .40 cent wings everyday. The decor is very punkish and keeps you busy looking at the walls. The beer selection is wide and smart. It has the IPA's, Pilsners and dark beers but continually changes with new and classic beers. The only reason I gave it a 4 star and not a 5 is sometimes its packed and you can't find a seat. So get there early around 5. Keep it up !

It's easy to drive by this place but totally worth stopping in. The decor and staff are great, but the beer selection is even better. I had the fall special crab cake sandwich with slaw and old bay fries. Cleared my plate which is not my usual MO. He had the hot wings and thought they were very good. They're not breaded (a good thing) but maybe coated in some way which is not his preference. Sauce was excellent, the right amount of heat.

3 stars because I'm new to Lancaster, and yesterday was the THIRD time I've tried to get wings here. First time - World Cup game and no tables or seats at the bar were open. Ok, I get it, and this was my fault. No wings. Second time - parked and walked up to the door where there was a sign stating that the kitchen was temporarily closed....really? No wings, again. Third time - finally in ABGs and so ready for wings. Went to order garlic parmesan wings, and they are out of parmesan cheese. Wait, seriously? Of the wings that I did get to order (thai peanut and southwest), they were made great. The southwest definitely had a great kick to them. The thai peanut were ok - but they were also my second-choice to the garlic parmesan ones. Overall, I'm going to try my lack-of-luck to go to ABGs for wings in the future. It did, after all, have a great vibe.

I try to venture to other locations but this place is just excellent in so many ways. It's like an addiction. Cheap but 5 star quality food! Service Is amazingly excellent ! Better then most 5 star rests I've been to throughout country. The owners definitely know how to manage a bar/rest. Crazy crowds for a deserving reason. My best experience in Lancaster.

My boyfriend & I come here regularly. We take out of towners here all the time as well! Nice neighborhood joint with incredible food every time. Love their rotating cider on tap selection as well. Sometimes the service can be a bit slow but the servers & bartenders are always friendly.

This was such a great experience. We just moved to Lancaster, and were looking for a nice place to eat. Upon driving past, this place looks kind of like a dive but I can honestly say the food was incredible and the service was perfect. I'm so happy we stopped and now this is going to be our go to stop. One day it's too notch, the next afternoon its complete shit prepared with what seems to be no consideration for the customer. Is it that hard to coat a wing with sauce? Train your cooks to deliver on a consistant basis. Even still, this place is killer.

If you love punk rock,.skateboards and wings you have found your home. Best blackened chicken quesadilla around. Killer staff also. Get here early on wing night because it can get crazy packed. But its worth the wait. SO Grab a brew or a drink at the bar while you wait. The ABAG never dissapoints. Top local spots in my book.
