Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Unlce Joe is a great guy who serves the BEST pizza in the Kutztown. Ingredients are fresh, almost everything is made-to-order, and Uncle Joe makes most of the pizzas by hand himself. The waitstaff is friendly and helpful and they are also very accommodating to us vegetarians. Last year, Uncle Joe's was gracious enough to host a Valentine's event for my undergrad students (I work for Kutztown University). He was so helpful, friendly, and giving throughout the event. I cannot say enough nice things! Tip: Try the "Mona Lisa" pizza for something different and delicious!

I grew up visiting family in New York and enjoying good New York pizza. This is not good New York pizza. The sauce is bland, the toppings low-grade. As for the Stromboli and calzones, save your money. The fried, greasy calzones are hands down the worst I have ever tried. I took two bites and tossed the rest out. If you want good pizza, I recommend trying Camilo's instead. I honestly have no clue how Uncle Joe's has managed to get so many good reviews, unless they are forcing the young college students who work there to write five star reviews as one of their job requirements. Skip this place. Go to Camilo's instead.

Guess we won't be going back to Uncle Joe's. It's across the street so too bad. We got a calzone and a Stromboli. The Stromboli had American cheese (sacrilege) and was just terrible. The calzone was deep fried in old grease (a deep fried calzone are they lazy or just stupid? also sacrilege plus all it had was ricotta and pepperoni). Two bites and we tossed it. Gross. I won't put that crap in my body. My 4 year old just said "that is disgusting." My hands are still shiny from all the grease.

I mean, the pizza is great- truly some of the best in the area. But don't overlook Uncle Joe's pasta options. The Chicken Francaise is to die for- and I had enough left over for lunch the next day (and it was just as good as a reheat!). Just a really nice option for locals, great, friendly service- this guy knows what he's doing!

Easily the best pizza place in Kutztown. However stick to the pizza because the other food is just ok. The pasta was a bit undercooked a few times.

Ordered a large sausage and definitely enjoyed it. The pizza is good and is better than most other places in the area. It was pretty empty and I was surprised since its right on campus! Support your local businesses!!

Best pizza in Kutztown. Being located right near campus is also a plus.

Uncle Joe is the man! The pizza is easily the BEST in Kutztown, and the best in the area. Even back home the pizza I get isn't as good as Uncle Joe's. I'm going to miss this place when I graduate! Thanks for finally opening up a place that really knows how to make a great pizza in Kutztown!

I really like the pizza here, so I hope Uncle Joe's is more successful than the previous two owners at this location.

If it were possible to give zero stars I would have. Horrible service. Tried to return a Stromboli that was half the size it should have been and was greeted with threats from the cook and an employee. As we were leaving every employee in the restaurant was giving us the middle finger and one employee lifted up his short and made a slashing mark across his stomach as if to say he was going to "gut us". All this over an order that they messed up. Never go here.

This place has AMAZNING pizza. I grew up in Kutztown and have been eating so-so pizza for the last twenty years. Having lived in NYC, I'm familiar with the real, good, Lombardis-style pizza. The pizza from Uncle Joe's (a Bronx-transplant to Kutztown) is amazing. The pistachio pizza is exceptionally amazing. So unique, so freaking good. Must-try.
