Awesome experience last night! Went to the KOP location as a central spot for my husbands birthday gathering. We had about 15-20 people coming and even though there wasn't a reservation they quickly set aside a private area for us, along with personalized reserved signs. Andrew was absolutely awesome, introducing himself to everyone as they arrived and offering separate checks for this who wanted them. They had a crazy beer list with lots of options. We enjoyed MANY of them! Everyone enjoyed their meals. I personally tried the wings, pretzels, nachos and chicken fingers. The wings were crispy and delicious and the nachos were crazy good! It was an all around great time.

Horrible experience. This place has drastically gone down hill! Service was slow on a slow night. Place was really loud and dirty food was awful and greasy. Bathroom had bugs in it.

$2 dollar Tuesday's are insufferable. Somewhere amidst the crowd of glowing recent 21-year-old college students and sewer creatures from the general Norristown area, you may be able to accommodate yourself to a seat; however, don't expect reasonable service because reasonable is the anti-christ of this institution. "Well that's cool and all man but like I'm just going to grab some drinks with my friends and have a good time cause drinks are like two bucks man" is what you may be saying to yourself, and I get your logic, though flawed and I will explain why. There is a well known story in scripture informally called "The Feeding of the 5,000". Type the title into Google images and click the first picture. Replace that shawl made out of jordanian cotton that jesus is wearing with a fox and hound shirt. Only then can you get the picture completely. 5,000 peasants crawling to the foot of the bar, cash in hand so high in the air that one glimpse at the bar area would lead you to believe the whole German military is throwing up flags of surrender right in front of your eyes. Reasonable logic, but flawed once more because even the Germans would rather stay sober than take the slightest step into this place. If you're one of the lucky 5,000 being fed by the newly delegated son ("2015" and/or daughter?) of god, your bartender, congrats. Now you have to navigate your way through the crowd of smelly college kids and sewer creatures, back to your food-stained seat. As you walk back, you bump into some college girls who somehow seem to take up more space than necessary and a little beer spills, you notice that bizarre Norristown sewer creature in the corner licking his zep stained fingers on one hand and running pomade through his hair with the other while he's staring at your girlfriend "what the f....." and a little more beer spills. You get back to your table with 3/4 of a beer that took 45 minutes to get, along with thought processing of one scripture passage and the history of beer drinking in the German military and then you say to yourself "I should have spent the three extra dollars and got this beer somewhere else": every customers swan song.

Awful service, waitress took 20 mins to come to our table on a dead night (about 20 people in the place) waitress refused to split our check, made us do seperate checks and was so stupid that she didn't notice we tipped her. Worst service ever, shut this place down.

I have come here a few times in the past and have always regretted my decision. Most recently I was there for a poorly planned high school reunion. Once I entered the establishment last night I immediately smelled putrid vomit. I thought maybe it was only coming from a certain area of the bar, but I continued to smell it throughout the entire night... SERVICE: the service was ok on this particular night. Earlier in the night there were more bartenders so it was easier to order drinks. Later in the night there were less bartenders and it was harder to order drinks. FOOD: I didn't order any food last night, but I have ordered the burger, fries and wings in the past. It was standard over salted pub food. nothing special. ATMOSPHERE: overall, if the place did not continuously did not smell like vomit throughout the night then i would give it a 3/5. Basically, this is the only decently sized bar in KOP where you can get a drink for under $8, but that's about it. I would recommend the bar at seasons 52 or capital grill any day.

The food is really good and their service is good! Get the jacked-up cheese wedges! If you love pepper jack these are for you! Their beer selection is perfect! Lots to choose from!

2$ drafts every Tuesday is a great deal! My buddy and I go here from time to time to watch the game or just to hang out. The beer selection is excellent along with the pricing. The bartenders are friendly and extremely attentive; even when they are busy they are on top of filling your drink... There are plenty of TV's, comfortable setting, and a great crowd of people - if you like people watching....

The sports bar that keeps me unwasted. The goods: Burgers! Real beef patties with creative combinations and not the 4 oz. mcdonalds patties that some places sneak into a creative stack. The play action platter, perfect for a group. The meh: Beer is average to high average in price, didn't look for crafts since that's not really a good combo with sports. The beers were not 2 bux each on the day of my visit. Fries could be crispier. Service: Good Atmosphere: Large sports bar, loud. Attitude: Friendly and open. Value: Not bad, food is fairly priced; beer a bit higher but not outrageous. Ideal for: bar food, meeting with friends or large groups to see the game.

Descent pub grub options. They have the usually assortment of fried goodness. An excellent place to watch a major sporting event because of all the tvs strewn throughout the bar. Lots of beers on tap. Service can get backed up at the bar sometimes.

Fox and hound is a great place to watch a game or come with a large group for happy hour. Food is pretty good but nothing to right home about. Good drink specials many nights. Lots of space for groups.

I've recently become privy to the fact that beer prices are a mere $2 for drafts on Tuesday nights. My coworkers and I find ourselves here a lot after work for that very reason. At the bar, service can be hit or miss, although I've noticed once you start becoming a regular, service tends to be a bit better. Tonight we grabbed a table for food and our server was gone for 20 minutes at a time which was rather frustrating, so we ended up moving to the bar area once we finished our food and got our check settled. The crowd there was pretty mixed, but majority were guys (it is still a sports bar with tons of tvs after all!) They do have drinks specials most nights of the week and have posters displaying them around the bar as well as in the bathroom stalls. For $2, it's not a bad place to go for a drink though!
This is the review I would give any Fox and Hound...probably. I have only gone here with office pals for happy hours. The menu doesn't usually entice me for the price, so I have never ordered anything. I have occasionally shared some plates and I remember the quality being okay. The service is not that great, the beer is overpriced for the burbs (except $2 Tuesdays - all drafts), and they have one of the most puzzlingly gross bathrooms in all of restaurant chain existence. Mostly, it's convenient, that's it. Your fun will hinge on who you're with - so choose wisely! Fun Fact: I remember when this was Dick's American Bandstand.

Once seated, we waited a total of 15 minutes for a server come to talk to us. After 10 minutes, I went to speak with the bartender to see if we had a waitress and he said she would be right over. We waited another 5 minutes and then left. The whole time there was 5 employees standing around talking.

Ehhh, not much really to say. Went here for a Tuesday night happy hour. The $2 draft special was definitely a great deal but everything else was just kind of off. Service was slow, to a slightly understandable point with how busy it was, but it wasn't friendly either. Kind of just threw everything down onto the table as it came up. Just a very weird vibe from our waitress. And the food was typical if not subpar bar food. Overly greasy everything, which I guess just helped me enjoy the $2 drafts even more. Jesus I needed something to wash it down with haha.

Stopped in to have some burgers for a quick dinner. After taking our order the waitress spent her time flirting with the guys at another table. We had to get her attention to see if my salad was ready. She brought it out, then followed it with our Burgers right away instead f waiting for me to finish the salad. Both burgers were supposed to be medium well, one was more then well done, the other closer to rare. On the way out, 2 waitresses were blocking the aisle, instead of moving to one side they separated barely enough for us to fit between them, continued their conversation, and didn't acknowledge us. First time there, last time there.

My vote for best Happy Hour spot in the KOP area. Food is nothing crazy except reasonably priced and generously proportioned. Great selection of beer and the service is good. The only thing I don't like is when the have UFC PayPerView (aka human cockfighting) when I'm there. In a crazy coincidence, the UFC events have a tendency to bring out the areas obnoxious d-bags.

Took our entire office to Fox and Hound to watch the first US World Cup game on Monday. Called on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday to attempt to make a reservation for our group of 12. I was told each time that they could not make the reservation for me until the group party planner is in. Finally, on Monday the day of the game, they called me back and completed the reservation. Should have been a bad sign. When we arrived, they did have a table reserved for us with our name on it. That was cool. I'll keep the details brief, but the service was horrendous. We were seated 15 minutes prior to the match, and some of our party did not even receive their drink until after halftime. So that's an hour without even a drink. We raised numerous complaints, and received excuses that the bar was backed up. In anticipation of a big sporting event, a sports bar like this should be prepared to handle a crowd. The pretzel bites came out raw. Otherwise the food was ok, at best. The waitress was apologetic, but often disappeared from the floor for 20 minute stretches. We ordered chicken wings at halftime that were not served until after the game. I really felt embarrassed to organize this event for our office and have such a poor experience. We will not be returning.

Expect The Least Expected!! We went to this location mainly because it's so close to home and they were showing the COTTO Vs. MARTINEZ Fight. The cover was $10, ehhh no big deal. After ordering our drinks the manager & his crony told us that we were out of dress code and that he had a "Bar T-Shirt" for us to borrow while we watched the fight. Once we politely refused to change the T-shirt, the manager also kindly said it was fine for us to stay. (That Was Simple...) When the time had one to order food, I looked very closely at the menu because I have VERY BAD food allergies. I found one thing I could eat!! "Drunken Chicken Tenders." It said NOTHING about having cheese on it. Nonetheless when the grub came out... So did the cheese. RIGHT AWAY I began to react!! Kevin, our AWESOME server (like really he was great!!), quickly changed the order without any hesitation. Aside from the wardrobe situation, and the near death experience, the atmosphere was great & so was the service!! I can't say that I'd go back, but I'd still recommended it for others!

I went to the Fox and Hound with tempered expectations. The reviews overall weren't very good and I've been there before, but only for happy hour and drinks around the bar. On this particular evening, we decided this restaurant would be a good halfway point for us to meet another couple. We planned on dinner and drinks. I had the cheddar beer soup -- it was just okay. We tried the pretzels and they were good (but it's hard to mess up a pretzel). My husband and I split an order of onion rings and they weren't very good at all. They weren't as crispy as I would like and just not as tasty as others I've had. And onion rings are pretty universally delicious, so that was pretty disappointing. I liked sitting in the dining room in the view of the big screen playing music videos that evening. They were showing quite a variety of old and new music in a range of styles. I also thought our server did a great job. We sat there for a couple of hours, but he kept refilling our waters and frequently (but not annoyingly) checked in on us for more beer and food orders. My biggest gripe are the beer prices. Unbelievably expensive, and the prices are conveniently not listed on the draft menu at the table. They had a decent selection, but for what they had, I didn't think the prices needed to be as high as they were. We ended up spending at least $50 more than we were expecting and that can be fully attributed to the beer prices. If I recall correctly, some were as much $10. That's just crazy -- they weren't terribly rare or wonderful beers. The Fox and Hound really takes advantage of their patrons with those prices. Before receiving the bill and despite the lackluster food, given the beer selection and atmosphere, I was thinking "maybe this place isn't so bad," But after receiving that insanity bill, I don't plan on returning.

Fox and Hound is good for the drink specials and some very nice bartenders. The overall atmosphere puts it down the list of places I like to hang out at. They're well known for $2 all drafts on Tuesdays, but it makes the crowd overwhelming for the bartenders for happy hour, and it attracts too many college kids at night. I usually just go on other days. The music can be blarringly loud even for my young ears. One end of the bar smells like somone had a rough night there. There are two small restrooms which are often a disaster. If you don't get a special, the regular drink prices are high. If you get a table some servers do good work. Others seem like you're doing them a favor by being there. The menu has typical bar fare. The Hot Fox chicken Sandwich is the only thing I'd recommend.

Go here often to watch games or to meet up with friends. Place is HUGE! With lots of TVs! Great place to watch a game. This is a big wrestling/fighting bar. Anytime their is a pay per view there's typically a $5 cover and the place is very busy. Foods average. Typical bar food. Service isn't bad. I've had horrible service and great service here. Drinks always seems to be great! Bartenders are good!

I will first say that I have been to this Fox and Hound many, many times and have had both good and bad experiences. One particular experience was especially bad. I went with a friend for a boxing match and we got a few seats at the pool tables in the back. We had a male server and he seemed to have absolutely no idea what service is. Keep in mind, we were there for a three hour fight. It was busy, but it took him about 15 minutes to take our order. After taking the or, about 20-25 minutes later my friend's food came and mine (I ordered fries) was nowhere to be found. After 45 minutes (the next time he was in our general area) I asked him where they were. His response was "I didn't know if you wanted regular fries or cheese fries". After that was finally straightened out, he "put it in right away". The table behind us and next to us also found this baffling. Half an hour later and an hour and 15 after I ordered them, I finally got my fries. Drinks came out about 25 minutes after they were ordered. My last one never came. It took about 20 minutes for him to get the check. For my trouble the manager took the fries off my bill. Apparently he "couldn't take drinks off". Having worked in customer's service about half my life, I know this is completely false. Our server then had the nerve to tell us about their upcoming wings special. What an idiot. I left a much smaller tip than I normally would (although I did leave one). Definitely the only time I would ever think of walking out on a bill (we were another 30 seconds from doing so).

I was at Fox and Hound on Friday night for dinner and drinks. I got the fish and chips and the food/drinks took forever. The next day, I woke up feeling ill and with extreme stomach pain. I am still feeling pain as I am writing this. It ruined my weekend because I could not do anything but stay in bed. I think the fish was not fresh (nor did it taste fresh) and it made me terribly sick. I will NOT be going back to this place again. A huge disappointment!!

Oh Fox and Hound how I try to like you, but with every visit it never happens. You have great drink specials, but your food and service are lacking. Your pool tables are nice, but overpriced. And what is that vomit smell near the bar? You have such potential to be good. You are large and spacious, lots of tvs, great specials, and, outdoor seating. I even took my 17 year old sister and 3 year old daughter and they were not sold on your food. The price for mozz sticks is a little high for how few you get, and they aren't that tasty. With so many places in KOP, you need to step up your game and provide good quality food and better service at the bar and tables.

Another establishment on the KOP strip of franchise restaurant hell. Yes, Tuesday nights are the nights to go here for cheap draft beer and it does draw a big diverse crowd. Really good marketing on their part because you need to soak up those cheap drafts with some of their overpriced, out of the box and into the microwave food.

Worst experience ever. Order was wrong.... Waited ten minutes for silverware AFTER our food arrived.... Steak was cold by then. After we ate, waited 20 minutes just to get our check. NEVER going back.

I have been here many, many times and enjoyed relatively average everything (food, service, atmosphere). Yesterday was a complete disgrace. I spent 2 hours there! and not because I was watching Olympic hockey. Each drink order took 20-30 mins, the food took an hour! My co workers had to reschedule their afternoon meetings. Both the server and manager on duty couldn't just apologize, but had to tell me about all their problems. I'm sorry, as a paying customer, I don't need the details of how you're spending 45 minutes in the kitchen to help catch up. Apart from the slow service, there was no communication to us and our server literally disappeared for 15-20 minutes at a time. Only after I complained did our food show up. Surrounding tables that had ordered before us were still waiting. I will NEVER return. I can't give 1 star because the food was OK, except I hate the change to prison style metal trays.

Turn around and don't go in!Walked in on Saturday night Not busy -should have been a sign. Hostess on her cell phone looks up say to who ever she's talking to hold on.Takes us to a table and almost knocks my son over running back to her personal phone call FYI he is on crutches !!! Waitress comes -nice and sweet Demeanor I order one of their three special burger She comes back to say the don't have it! The first of three burger they offer besides build your own and they are out on a Saturday night at 7pm! Got a salad with raw steak omg then I check my sons burger it freaking raw!No wonder this place is empty horrible!!!!!'My son ate wings which were ok I guess.I ate a couple. So someone came to the table to ask what happen and inform he would take the burger off the bill.Ok but how about having a clean uniform on when approaching customer This place is a joke! I later find out from my waitress that it was the manager he didn't even introduce himself as the manager ugh!Probably the worse place I been to in a long time!Should of just got fast food it would of been better!About a half hour later my stomach started to bother me!the next say my son has horrible diarrah!!!!!!

Not too sure why this place gets such bad reviews. I've been here on many occasions, for both meals and just drinks and for a combination of both and I never had any issues. The food is on par with other chain restaurants. I usually get the wings and they are typically decent sized and covered with a ton of their tasty buffalo sauce. I think its close to $10 for the wings, but that's pretty normal for this type of place. The drinks are pretty average priced as well. Basic beers are reasonable, but once you start getting into mixed drinks and shots your bar tab will start to grow very quickly so don't get drunk to quick and lose track of what you had to drink or at the end of the night you might be in for a big surprise. The service is also pretty good. When it gets busy you may need to wait a little while for drinks or your server, but that's expected at peak times. They also have a ton of huge tv's and games, boxing or MMA events are always on. As you can see, I am a huge proponent of Fox and Hound and I recommend it to everyone.

A good happy hour after work for the KOP/Wayne area
This place gets two stars for their $2 Tuesdays. Otherwise, this place isn't the best as far as service and food. Most importantly, DO NOT (I REPEAT, DO NOT) go here for the wings!!!! I cannot stress this enough. For one, their wings aren't good as far as flavor at all. Secondly, and probably most importantly, I had a serious and bad case of food poisoning from them!! Not only that, but our waitress sucked. Probably not the cards she dealt, but she had way too many tables to cover. Way too many people and not enough servers. I will never ever get food from this place again. I'll probably only come here if I'm dragged here only on a Tuesday where it's closely worth my money for beer.

I stopped in F&H during my travels. The beer menu isn't anything special. They do have a list of beers on tap but nothing new or different. The bartenders were great! Food was okay, it's what I expected from a pub.

I have been here several times for work lunches, food is lousy and service is...well can't really call it service. Just another sub par pub.

If you're curious how it's possible to completely fail at making chicken fingers in 2014, look no further than this place. $2 drafts on Tuesdays is a steal, just hit Micky D's on the way. Come for the cheap beers, don't stay for anything else.
(2)
Janelle J.
It's a sports bar, so the expectations aren't necessarily going to be for fine dining. But when I'm watching a game, I've gotta have good beer and good food. While the selection of beers isn't bad, the food is. I've been to this Fox and Hound and the other one in Philly and I was very disappointed. I've had undercooked chicken wings and lackluster nachos....and everything is overpriced. The place looks good and has big screens to watch the game and the service is okay...I just wish I could enjoy my food.

Nice bar, good service, and good beer selection. The only thing i did not like about this bar was the food. i ordered the Jamaican chicken. I thought i was eating charcoal.

No. Just no no no. no. Suffice to say, I am not a fan of the fox. Minuses: -smelly. The bar is actually smelly. I'm apparently not supposed to come back here, because *allegedly* I sprayed the bar with perfume whilst perhaps wastedface. -the food is average at best. Wings are not bad, I recall having some drunken cheese fries that were not terrible. Maybe because I was drunken, not so much the fries. -Service ranges from not tooo bad to where in the world is our server? -Their specials are generally during the day. While I'm sure this is great for 9-5ers, where is my drink special after getting done work at 10? -When not on special, beer prices include tax and are always strange and annoying numbers. Why do I have to pay $5.38 for a beer? Begrudging Pluses: -After Bennigans and Kildares closed, several awesome bartenders moseyed here. Hi Ed! Hi Nick! Hi Mike! These guys are great and will take care of you. They get my one star for this bar. -They have a large selection of taps. -When weather permits, there is a small outdoor patio great for escaping the loud music and 21 year old shenanigans inside. That's all. Choose your own fate.

I just recently started going back and I notice they've upped their game, beer wise. They def took into consideration the growing craft beer scene. So that's cool. And being a Beer Club Member, ALSO a win. I recommend it for sure. Love their tap selection. Three Philosophers? Umm yes please! And the daily specials, also very good. And for Main Line/King of Prussia, you can't beat that. But I will say, I've been there a couple afternoons and evenings when it's deadsville...and the one bartender is way too chatty. If her back is turned to you, you're in trouble friend. She gets into the zone and then you're looking for a bell to get her attention. So yes, YAH for beer! 5 Stars! Nay for service....2 Stars. 5+2/2=3ish

Average burger, soggy fries and cheap beer. Nice attentive server. Upbeat atmosphere, clean. Overall, there's nothing here to write home about, but nothing to keep me away either. Tuesdays all draft beers are $2. ALL draft beers.

My friends and I go here a number of times a year for UFC events. The food is above average, tons of beers to choose from, and a good atmosphere for the fights. Our last waitress was Julia (I hope that's correct) and she was AWESOME. Every order came out quickly and just as we asked. She was attentive, helpful, and personable all night. We'll be looking for her the next time we are there.

Recently we celebrated a few birthdays at Fox & Hound. I had as many bartenders as I had shots, comically. They were hospitable, efficient, and creative, getting us shots we haven't had in awhile. As for shots, our group downed chocolate cake shots, Patron Silver, red headed slut shots, Washington apple shots, surfer on acid shots, and a screaming Nazi shot (all excellent). In-between rounds, we munched on nacho chips and downed water. Prices aren't the cheapest and I'm (still) not a fan of smoking indoors, but there are worse places to drink.

I have been here twice. My first experience was very pleasant. Great service, great food. My second experience was pretty bad. Our waitress was terrible. First off, she needed clothes that were more approriate than a skin tight tee and yoga pants with her thong exposed at all times. Secondly, she brought our dinner out with our apps. I think it is common sense not to bring out dinner when the apps are served. Needless to say by the time we got to our dinner, it was very cold. I also noticed waitresses hugging and flirting with male employees on the floor, VERY unprofessional.

Not a bad deal if you go on $2 Tuesday where most of their pints are $2. They have a good selection, but their beers on draft taste a little iffy. I asked a former waitress from there about it and she said that they almost never clean the taps or lines to the kegs. The beer selection is phenomenal, but the odd taste ruins it a bit. It's only slight and most people that just order a Bud Light probably won't notice. If you're a serious beer drinker, though, you know what I mean. The food is meh. At some places, you drink there because you eat there. I eat at Fox because I drink there. It's not bad, but it's also nothing to write home about. Honestly, if it weren't for $2 Tuesdays, I probably wouldn't go here with the other available options in the area.

Fox and Hound is a fun sports bar. The food is good and there are plenty of televisions to catch any of the games. Pool tables are in the back. The service is quick. It is a good in-between bar if you are in the King of Prussia mall area. They have a free membership card.

This place was great for a mid-afternoon meet-up to shoot pool and throw darts for middle-aged women. Service was attentive. The food was really terrible - we had a selection of bar snacks, like wings and nachos, and each was worse than the last.

Awesome bar food, great beer selection, servers are friendly, bartenders and also very cool and personable. Wings are fantastic, Pretzels with Queso are spot on and the Sliders are bad ass!!!! This is my favorite place to go in KOP.

So...this was the worst dining experience I've had in recent memory. My friend and I left laughing and on the verge of vomiting. Granted, it's a pedestrian pub/grille in a mall parking lot, but let's go ahead and highlight some of the fun facts that I discovered today about Fox and Hound. 1. The place smelled disgusting. Think sour chocolate, feces, fruits, cock roaches, urine, and day-out vomit combined into a blender and served out of a dumpster with a used syringe as a straw disgusting. 2. The waitress/bartender/creature talked to us about angels for an uncomfortable stretch of time. She advised us to reach out and embrace angels, as they're all around us. She was harmless, but the place was bad enough already. I didn't need a side of overzealous religion. All aboard the cray-cray train! 3. (Stale) coffee was served in plastic cups. Like what? 4. I think we counted three sordid affair-meetings taking place around the bar between women in their late twenties and men who looked like Bob Barker. They were all making out. At lunch. 5. I'm fairly certain most of the perishable ingredients in both our meals were initially grown in the late 19th century, frozen, and finally thawed today. I had one crouton in my salad and then retired. It was almost as if they went out of their way to make the food unappealing, old, and inedible. In conclusion, this place is right up your alley if your idea of good food is bellybutton lint served on a live centipede. Really only come here to get wasted. Like black-out-and-forget-which-planet-you're-on wasted. It might be fun for this purpose, as they actually had an enticing beer selection on tap. And get drunk quick. Double fist. No. Triple fist.

When this place opened up first, it was great. Good food, good service, great prices. I'm not going to talk about the $2 dollar night because its pretty much their only thing they've got going for them. All I'll say is the bartenders are cool and nice and helpful. Servers and waitress' suck. Also, their tap/draft/keg systems are watered down. Guinness doesn't taste anything close to the REAL guinness. Any other time is not that bad. The waitress' that are there when it's not tuesday are friendlier, more attentive and just better than the tuesday crew. Food is decent.

Well the food was typical chain food- and the service at first seemed good. Then our waitress decided to gossip with the hostess as 4 - yes 4 employees stood around. I had to ask loudly to what appeared to be the manager for the check and a refill on an iced tea. Besides 3 people at the bar, we were the only ones at the table. So I should have listened with the one review stating, of "you're not a cute guy you won't get service". Would not return.

This place is ok...just ok. They have a great beer selection, and pool tables that are in good shape, but the list of pluses ends right there. It is rather expensive for what you get, and maybe as a result of that the crowd can sometimes bit a bit uppity. The service was never better than average, and sometimes pretty bad. Gone for 20+ minutes at a time, even when its not that busy. Food is average and way too expensive for what it is. I can only suggest going here at happy hour if you want to play pool and want to drink "regular" beer...otherwise, go to Rock Bottom. Better in nearly every respect and better prices.

I can't get away from visiting Fox & Hound from time to time because of the amount of TV's they have for games, but I can't really get behind the overall experience of the place. When my team isn't on national TV I have to find somewhere to watch and that usually means I'll be here. The food is pretty boring and gross in some instances and the bar area usually gets crowded with fake people resulting in a wait to get a draft. How I seem to wait 5-10 minutes to get a single beer every time I go is beyond me. That's not really service to be praised. Last time I was there on a Tuesday night relaxing getting something to eat, drink and hang with some friends there were shot girls walking around the restaurant... seriously?! Shot girls on a Tuesday?

Pretty good, but not the best food in the world either. I had the Phillie Cheese steak...which had horseradish sauce with it...yum! Also used it to dip my fries. The fries were fries. My friend had the cheese soup (also good to use as a dip for fries) and a chicken Caesar salad. Our waitress (who was a dead ringer for Snooki) recommended the Dragon Berry Mojito...I bumped up the star rating just for the drink. Overall, it was good, and if I was in the area ever again, I would go back.

$2 dollar (draft) Tuesday is the only reason that I come here. They have like a million drafts to try from light beers, to dark beers and somewhere in between. For the amount of times I frequent this place, I am surprised I haven't had ALL of their drafts..No, I usually only stick to Hoegaarden and Blue Moon. For as crowded as they get the Bartenders are always on point, and they stay friendly, so that's always a good thing. But the servers can be quite the opposite sometimes, but...I don't order there that much there, so it's okay. There are a couple of those "too cool for school" waitresses there, but I try to brush it off and just laugh... The food is just OK. It's super overpriced, though. I've only tried the Chips and Salsa, wings and Bacon Cheeseburger. The wings (particularly the sauce for them) are not that flavorful, all I can pretty much taste is HOT, not any flavor from the spice or anything...It is kind of painful trying to finish them, but oh well. The Bacon Cheeseburger is good, but it really just depends on what TIME you order. The Fox and Hound (KOP, at least) is one of those "You live and you learn" type of places, but you keep coming back anyway, especially for the draft deal. But once again, I applaud all the Bartenders there, they do a really good job with keeping up with the crowds!

I went there with a friend on a Sunday afternoon after shopping at the King of Prussia Mall. It was a nice stop for late lunch. Typical selection of bar food and beverages, friendly waitress, loved the atmosphere. Perfect for group to watch football. Big wide screen TVs every where. I would definitely go back there if I am in the area again. Love love the name of the restaurant.

Love it for Tuesday's happy hour special--$2 beers, and not just the typical poor quality stuff.

This is an e-mail I sent to Fox & Hound KOP last time I was sitting in their restaurant: "I am currently sitting in your restaurant watching UFC with my husband & some friends. I come here to be with them & don't expect much else except good times with friends. I am a vegetarian- not the kind that expects anyone else to be or expects people to cater to my choices- but I do appreciate when there are a few options for me. Besides a few appetizers & pizza, there are no options here. I could go with the house salad but I tried that last time & tonight was looking for a little more to eat. There is a salad with chicken, bacon, feta cheese- you know the one. I asked if I got it without the chicken & bacon- if I could get a couple dollars off- the answer was no. So I sit hungry- because I can't support a company who won't cater even the slightest bit to someone who has different dietary needs. Vegetarianism is not rare. In fact, I don't know of another restaurant where I can't find something specifically made with vegetarians in mind. You're missing out on a large group of people by not giving them at least one healthy, meatless option." No less than 5 minutes later, the manager came over to my table looking for me. He offered me the meal I had wanted right there on the spot- but at that point I wasn't interested in food. He gave me a free entree with no expiration date for the future. As I will never go to F&H again, my husband will be happy to use the entree coupon. A++ for customer service. F- for food options for people other than fatty, fried food lovers (That experience alone added 1 star to my review!)

Came in on a busy $2 draft night expecting the worst. Server Jess was very polite. Due to some dietary restriction I asked for a few different substitutions to my meal. Food came out perfect - just as I ordered. Didn't think to specify no cheese on my side salad and ended up removing a huge pile, but otherwise it was fine. Don't rely on the table beer menu for selection - take time to walk to the bar and check out the drafts.

First time going to Fox and Hound and it was not a good experience. We sat ourselves and a waitress didn't come over to us for a good 15-20 minutes. We had to switch seats because the speaker was so loud, and didn't get service at all at the second table. Finally got seated in the restaurant area (where they weren't able to change any of the channels) and had a semi-decent waitress. I ordered a cheeseburger (I wanted to stay safe) which actually wasn't bad. But the beer was very pricey. I stuck with a water. All in all, I was not impressed and I probably would have no desire to go back unless I absolutely had to.

Upgrading to 3 stars bc there's some really cute guys here. And whenever I need to take a friend out to eat this place fits the bills for all makes and models!

Can I break the 3-star streak for this place? Nah, it pretty much defines 3 stars. But I will say that it is one of the best places in KoP to come for happy hour. They have $3 draft pints 5-7pm, and that includes the 20 or so varieties they have on tap including some pretty good stuff like Rogue Dead Guy and Magic Hat. I also like this special because it keeps me from drinking Miller Lite just because it's on special. The place is pretty big and we usually congregate around the high top tables by the pool tables, so there's plenty of room to sit or mingle. Professional, after work crowd during happy hour. The food is just ok, pretty standard bar food. Last time I had a pesto chicken thin crust pizza, that had about 3 mini pieces of chicken on the entire thing, blah. And even the waitress last night admitted that the "giant" pretzels they list as apps are miniature. Service has been fine in my opinion. Nothing exciting, but good for happy hour if you work in the area.

We tend to come here after losing our soccer games. I don't know why everyone is crazy about this place since the food is pretty average. Their pizza was okay. The wings are really good but can't really screw them up. The layout is kinda random but at least there are pool tables. Also, there are plenty of TV screens so there is no awkward seat for seeing the game. All these little perks makes up for the average food.

Pick the longest amount of time you'd ever want to wait for your drinks/food and multiply that by 4. That plus a never up-to-date beer list and indifferent servers is Fox and Hound.

The one star review here comes with caveat: on Tuesdays, the drink specials are amazing ($2 Tuesdays). Other than that, it's loud, it's annoying, and the food is terrible. I repeat, the food is some of the worst in the restaurant industry. Avoid... except on Tuesdays.

This has been a place for happy hours for years....and will continue to be! This is another place that has cider (sometimes) so I don't mind going there. Typical menu, nothing out of the ordinary. Easy to park, waitress may take some time to get to you, but with everyone pretty much in a good mood, we are willing to overlook that

My Absolute favorite HH spot in KOP!! Service: Service is pretty good. They have a lot of female waitresses, I think to cater to the mostly male crowd that comes there to watch sports. Location: KOP Must Try: Vista Grande Nachos (with chicken and chili) Summary: Fox and Hound is a great place for HH. They have a different drink special everyday, and the appetizers are good too. The main reason I really like this place though, is because of the amount of space there is. I almost never sit at the bar because they have an open area towards the back of the restaurant with pool tables and big screen TVs, and plenty of tables and booths to sit in. It's a great atmosphere if you wanna do a HH or if you just wanna stop in and catch a game. Bonus: They have karaoke on Thursday nights. They show pay-per-view fights (boxing and UFC, they usually have a $5 cover for those events). Also, they have free pool during lunch (I'm not sure if they still do this, and I think it was only on a certain day of the week).

Fox is known for the 2 dollar drafts Tuesday , or as we call it "2 dollah holla" and showing the fights. Fox has several large flat screen tvs and a ton of seating. An outside area for smokers , some games and 5 pool tables. Large selection of draft beers is a huge draw. But take it for what it is - pool - watching fights and beer. Typical chain frozen fried food and unless your a cute guy you will get zero guest service. Period. I ONLY go for 2 dollar drafts.

First the good~ This place has $2 drafts all day and night on tuesdays and they have a huge selection. It's hard to find some of these drafts at this price anywhere. The Bad~ The food here is hit or miss. It's never great, but sometimes downright bad. I've waited over 30 minutes because of lapses in judgement (order taking) The worse~ For people who travel here, one of the first things you will find is this place is Douchebag central in KOP. I was here the night the Flyers lost the stanley cup and saw it first hand. The bartenders are usually very indifferent and dont go out of their way to make you "want" to stay. They're purely order takers and are glad to charge you 12 bucks for a shit glass of beer and a shot. The male bartenders here are awful. take a lap Fox and hound. KOP deserves something better.

I'm thanking Dave H.. for getting me back to this place for some fun times. Now I have been to Fox and Hounds before but the reason I didn't rate it hasn't changed since then. It is average and not even worth the time to Yelp about but when you have good people there it can be a great time. Their food is so average I have a hard time even remembering what I had. Drinks are average price(not too expensive but not a bargain at all) and its standard big screen TV watching. The only things that are exceptional about this place are their service and their pool tables, but not in a good way. They would have gotten two stars or less because their waiters and waitresses are as close to non existent as you could possibly be. They are never around when you need them except or when you have to pay. The pool tables give it a plus just because they HAVE them. Not that many "nice" pool halls in this City of Brotherly love that combine good lighting and good tables. All in all if you are not having more than two-three people there it is utterly useless, but good friends can make anyplace a good time.

Great happy hour location! Just returned from this location after meeting a client there and was amazed to see $2.00 beer specials (all draft) on Tuesdays. There are not too many places you can still get a quality $2.00 beer. While we did not partake in any food, the service and atmosphere was great.

This was my first visit to fox and hound when we walked in we found out there was a UFC fight and a cover of $5 we were excited as we usually pay more at other restaurants. We thought we might have a new spot to watch fights until my hard dry potato skins came out and the flavorless sour cream that came with it didn't help. Not only was the food terrible but the service was also. Our waitress sat a few tables over talking to her friends the whole time. It took us 20 minutes to flag her down to get our check. If I ever go back I will sit at the bar.

It is not the best food in the area, but I do love their French Dip sandwich. They have a plenty of wait staff during busy lunch hours and provide prompt service. They have a nice pool area in the back of the restaurant (FREE). Also enjoyed $2 draft on Tuesday HH.

Overcrowded college bar. VERY crowded on Tuesday nights when they have $2 draft day. All drafts are $2 all day and night. Great selection of draft beer and great price, but just way to crowded. Can take ten minutes to get a beer. Food is ok bar food.

We went here for the De La Hoya/Mayweather fight last weekend. It was the only place not IN the city that was carrying it. Because of that, it was PACKED. Luckily the place is enormous - just guessing I'll bet there were 1000 peeps there. So, they serve typical bar food there, but since I didn't have any, I can't attest to how good it is. Our service actually sucked - I think they didn't have enough people on for how crowded it was, and since hubby and I were seated amongst two enormous parties, our waitress basically refused to take our order. ("l'll be back in a minute" - which was a brush off and a lie since she never did take our order.) So, hubby bushwhacked is way to the bar, only to find that the bartenders were overloaded trying to fill the waitresses orders, and so completely ignored the patrons sitting there. He finally got us a couple of beers after making friends with the dude next to him, who was somebody apparently because he knew the bartender and got us our drinks. The good thing about this place though is that the TVs are everywhere. No matter where you're sitting you have a view of the action. Which IMO is the most important criteria in a sports bar to begin with.

Typical American crap food with overly priced beer and normally poor service. For Happy Hour, the prices are better but the place is pretty much a zoo.

I have not had a dining experience like this in quite some time. My friends and I showed up for Happy Hour at 6. Once we were seated at a table we decided to order food. I have been here with other friends for food and score it well below average for bar food and thought I would play it safe with a hamburger. After taking our order our waitress disappeared for over 20 mins. When she finally returned she did not ask us for refills, ketchup, etc. The hamburger was barely edible (dry, tasteless). At 8:24 we had one more drink and were going to leave. By 9:15 our waitress was no were in sight and neither were any other staff members. My friend called the restaurant from where we were sitting and asked for a manager to come to our table. Out of nowhere our waitress magically appears, drops the checks on our table and scurries off. Once again my friend calls the front desk and asks for a manager. The manager finally comes over and asks us what we would like her to do about it. We stated we wanted service and she comped all of our meals. I was completely shocked by the service, especially since it was not that busy. Next time I will go to Champs for Happy Hour, so not worth the headache!

this is one of my favorite places to go in the KOP area, they have 7 pool tables, 40+ tv's, more than 30 taps (with atlest 4 or 5 really good micro brews), they have drink specials almost everynight, including 2 dollar tuesday, all the draft beers are 2 bucks, all of em, including the good stuff...this is a must if your in the KOP hood.

There a quite a few things I really like about this place, and a couple I dislike, so let's get on with it. Thing I like #1: This is one of the only bars in the area that sells Rogue Dead Guy Ale, which happens to be my current favorite beer. They have a lot of beers on tap including my wife's favorite, Sam Adam's Cherry Wheat. And as others have said, $3 drafts from 5-7 are hard to beat. Thing I like #2: Free Wi-Fi. Thing I like #3: Firecracker Melts. This is a dish I have never seen anywhere else and it's delicious. They fry up some chicken, throw some kind of sauce on it, a bunch of cheese, and in the case of the Pizza version, Pepperoni or Sausage. Other food items I like on the menu are the burgers, and the thin crust pizzas. Thing I like #4: Cheap, and sometimes free (pre-2pm on weekdays) well kept pool tables. Bring your own cue if you want quality though. Thing I like #5: So many TVs, there's no place to look without seeing at least 1. Thing I like #6: The 4 most beautiful words dessert has ever known... The Great Cookie Blitz. That's a 6" freshly baked chocolate chip cookie with 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup. You cannot go wrong. Thing I don't like #1: The service can be very slow at times, even if they aren't busy at all and have plenty of wait staff on hand. This is the only thing that really stops me from giving them 5 stars. Thing I don't like #2: It can get very loud in there at times, and the bar area gets extremely smoky. Thing I don't like #3: You can't even get in there on Sundays during football season due to the Eagles.

Good bar. Good service. Good attitudes. food is very not great. Nothing really good unless your a comfort food person. I asked the server what they recommend and they said the pork sliders. Out of all the menu, which isn't very diverse, the pork sliders. The slider is probably the healthiest dish they have. However was a good bar and they have IPAs, dig fish head no less.

Good food- good fun-pool tables! They have a very good beer list so choose what you like- they have my fav from New Orleans - Abita- purple haze.

Love this place!!! Dave and Jody are awesome.. Love my quick meals. It is a relaxed in and out lunch. They have the best grilled cheese with the best tomato soup and short and sweet lunch menu. Thanks guys!

(2)Emma B.
The food is really good and their service is good! Get the jacked-up cheese wedges! If you love pepper jack these are for you! Their beer selection is perfect! Lots to choose from!
(4)Ron S.
(4)Steve L.
(3)Matt R.
Descent pub grub options. They have the usually assortment of fried goodness. An excellent place to watch a major sporting event because of all the tvs strewn throughout the bar. Lots of beers on tap. Service can get backed up at the bar sometimes.
(3)Katie P.
Fox and hound is a great place to watch a game or come with a large group for happy hour. Food is pretty good but nothing to right home about. Good drink specials many nights. Lots of space for groups.
(3)Jamie M.

Well, I gave this place the benefit of a doubt to respond to my long winded email send directly to them, over two weeks later and they have yet to respond. So, I shall just simply post what I emailed to said dump of a restaurant. "I had suggested trying out your establishment as we were in the area and had never been there before. It was 4:00pm, there were four of us and as soon as we walked in the door we were not greeted, which should've been our first indication of what our visit was going to bring. The hostess didn't speak to us, just walked away from the counter and didn't ask us to follow her; she was half way down the ramp before we even noticed she was missing. We sat down and were told by two different people that a waitress would be over. We were literally the only people in the entire restaurant part of the place. The bar had a small party of women and people were in the back section. There were at times 7-10 employees standing around the main dining area, and sitting in the booth beside the kitchen doors. When our waitress did finally come, she seemed less than enthusiastic to be working and wasn't wearing a very appropriate top; she had a large tattoo and her chest was basically showing. We ordered drinks and she left, then she came back and we ordered 2 orders of chips and salsa which was delivered by a male server. The salsa was completely watery and should not have been categorized as salsa. The chips were at least super crispy and delicious. We sat with our menus for a good 15-20 minutes before our waitress came back. In the meantime, the other servers just stood around by the POS system and sat in the booths with nothing to do. We made eye contact multiple with an older man who we assumed was the manager, and saw him start to approach us, but then he'd veer off to the front desk or bar area. We finally got to order and got the Stacked Burger, Reuben (with NO cheese) and sweet potato fries, Panini and French Dip. We waited another good 20-30 minutes for our food to be ready; we ended up waiting so long that we ordered more chips with a different server (skip the salsa) because we were so hungry. When our food was finally ordered, by yet another server, the Reuben was covered in cheese and had regular fries. The cheese wouldn't have been such a big deal if it wasn't for the fact that the person who ordered it has dietary issues, and it's not what she ordered! We told that server that it was wrong and he had a weird attitude about it and took it back to the kitchen. He was also the same server who we later heard standing behind us scream to another server, "what the fuck are you doing!?" Really classy! In the meantime, we didn't have napkins and only half the table had silverware. I asked for butter for my French Dip, which came when my friend's Reuben was finally redelivered (not sure why the butter wasn't brought out right away). The Panini bread was super thin, the Reuben was dry, the Stacked Burger had no flavor and my French Dip was so dry that I had to take the meat off and let it soak in the au jus. None of us ate our regular French fries; they had a weird consistency, like they were frozen and left out to thaw then cooked. My friend ate bits of his Panini, I ate 1/3 of my French Dip and my fiancé ate half of his burger. At one point a woman with two young kids came in and one of the waiters took the younger girl into the kitchen; I'm guessing the woman was an employee. Not really sure how that's appropriate though to take a child to the kitchen area. We figured that if the food at least was good, then maybe it would make up for the lack of service, but sadly it only got worse. We didn't even bother talking to a manager, especially if he was one of the guys just standing around, because we were so fed up with the trip and the 2 hours wasted there. We were so disappointed in the almost $100.00 spent there and will never be coming back. I'm certainly not trying to get anyone in trouble, or get something out of this, but I'm so shocked in the lack of professionalism and quality of food, and two out of four of us have extended service experience, so it's not without merit. Please use this to the benefit of the restaurant and employees."

Food was okay service was okay environment is cool if you like to drink and party I don't drink but it was a cool place to hit the TVs up and watch the Phillies game not a bad spot on Tuesday nights later crowd started coming about 1030 how was time to leave heard from midnight to the place gets poppin peace

Came here for lunch with some coworkers, the food and service was good, portion size was nice. Will certainly have to come back in an evening to experience the bar side.

Two dollar Tuesday!!!! All drafts $2. Amazing. Also their apps are really good, especially the mozzarella sticks

(2)Kristyn S.
(4)Steven P.
We stopped by for lunch. The food was excellent. Service was good. They went out of their way to make sure we had a good dining experience. The onion rings are fantastic.
(4)Vince R.

(1)Amy A.
(2)Devon F.
On a tues night, 1:30am. Good burger and fast service. There was even a good sized crowd of girls and guys. I would come back again.
(4)George A.
(2)Scott J.
Worst experience ever. Order was wrong.... Waited ten minutes for silverware AFTER our food arrived.... Steak was cold by then. After we ate, waited 20 minutes just to get our check. NEVER going back.
(1)Ian B.

(1)Kevin H.
(5)Bianca B.
A good happy hour after work for the KOP/Wayne area
(3)Jasmoné T.
(2)Jon F.
I stopped in F&H during my travels. The beer menu isn't anything special. They do have a list of beers on tap but nothing new or different. The bartenders were great! Food was okay, it's what I expected from a pub.
(3)Mike S.
I have been here several times for work lunches, food is lousy and service is...well can't really call it service. Just another sub par pub.
(1)Steve M.
If you're curious how it's possible to completely fail at making chicken fingers in 2014, look no further than this place. $2 drafts on Tuesdays is a steal, just hit Micky D's on the way. Come for the cheap beers, don't stay for anything else.
(2)Janelle J.
(2)Kevin ..
Nice bar, good service, and good beer selection. The only thing i did not like about this bar was the food. i ordered the Jamaican chicken. I thought i was eating charcoal.
(3)Lauren W.
(1)Kevin D.
5+2/2=3ish
(3)John F.
Average burger, soggy fries and cheap beer. Nice attentive server. Upbeat atmosphere, clean. Overall, there's nothing here to write home about, but nothing to keep me away either. Tuesdays all draft beers are $2. ALL draft beers.
(3)Brendan D.
food was over priced and small portioned. drinks were way too expensive. and the manager thinks it's "normal for humanity to piss on the walls and floor". my friend got peed on in the men's restroom. avoid this building at all costs.
(1)R V.
(5)Dave H.
(3)Mary M.
(2)Mark M.
(2)Shawn R.
Fox and Hound is a fun sports bar. The food is good and there are plenty of televisions to catch any of the games. Pool tables are in the back. The service is quick. It is a good in-between bar if you are in the King of Prussia mall area. They have a free membership card.
(4)Nancy H.
This place was great for a mid-afternoon meet-up to shoot pool and throw darts for middle-aged women. Service was attentive. The food was really terrible - we had a selection of bar snacks, like wings and nachos, and each was worse than the last.
(2)Dave H.
Awesome bar food, great beer selection, servers are friendly, bartenders and also very cool and personable. Wings are fantastic, Pretzels with Queso are spot on and the Sliders are bad ass!!!! This is my favorite place to go in KOP.
(4)donny s.
(1)Jackson L.
(2)Lucky M.
(1)Andy S.
(2)Scott F.
(2)Christine H.
(4)Lacey A.
(3)Su I.
(4)Melanie C.
Love it for Tuesday's happy hour special--$2 beers, and not just the typical poor quality stuff.
(4)Bekah D.
(2)Jess C.

This place is garbage. Terrible food. Bad service. Asshole manager. This place should be shut down.

Tuesday's $2 beer night. Nuff said.

Horrible, smelled like a wet rag upon entrance, steak tasted like liver. Why serve fries and and fried onion shavings together? Tbale was sticky and greasy Left with a stomach ache

Big screen TVs, beer, and mediocre restaurant chain food. Meh.

(4)Perry R.
