Hmmmmm, what do I say about this café that is right across the street from one of my favorite restaurants? Sigh, I so wanted to like this place. Perhaps I just did not order the right thing? We went here because it was restaurant week and they had the appetizer, entrée and dessert at a special price. Of course you had a special menu. I had the fried mozzarella to start out with, SKIP IT. They might as well have come out of a box in the freezer. They did give you a huge size portion, so if you must have this so you can share with the table, but it is just not worth it. My friend got the ribs and since I had the ribs as my entrée we realized they were the same size portion for both the appetizer and entre?? Go figure. LARGE portion. I was very disappointed. They had overcooked them. The BBQ sauce was fine, but the meat was tasteless. You get a choice of 2 sides - onions rings (GOOD) and green beans (OK) . One friend had Chicken Breasts that were covered with a goopy sauce. After tasting my ribs I looked longingly at that and would have switched in a NY minute. But when I asked for a taste it was a little bit too . Too thick, too cheesy and too smothering. They should have actually put it in a small bowl on the side. You just couldn't see the chicken anymore. The other friend who is allergic to everything under the sun asked what was in the mushroom ravioli. And was told that since the ravioli is purchased from an outside source and they could not verify each ingredient, the chef would prepare from scratch a dish that would be very similar using fresh ingredients that would not interfere with her allergies. So she got fresh pasta, with portabella mushrooms in a creamy fontina sauce. This dish was VERY good. But not on the menu. So if you have allergies----get it. I had the Bourbon Pecan Pie for dessert a la mode. Now I do have a preference in how my pecan pies are made, and I should learn to ask ahead of time whether the middle if heavy on the sauce. This one was. It was fine. But I'd order a different choice next time. The service here was very attentive and pleasant. The atmosphere is nice with one very large open area. I just was totally disappointed; there was no excitement, no surprise, just ho hum. I do not need to return. How sad.

Checked out this place after reading the first review on here, and was excited to see what it had to offer. I wasn't quite as satisfied as the original reviewer, however. The place is nice, an old stone building, nicely renovated, and they had a huge crowd, we waited almost 40 minutes on a Wednesday. The menu is mixed with pricier items and lower-priced sandwich selections. I went for the ribs, which is one of my favorite comfort foods. I chose the french onion soup, and garlic mashed potatoes as my sides. The soup was ok, very generic, and the mashed potatoes were very soupy and tasteless. The ribs, however, were good. Big and meaty, and the sauce was tasty, though they were certainly not exceptional. We were told on Monday's they have "all-you-can-eat" ribs, for the everyday rib entree price, so I'll probably go back, but this place is not likely to be one of my favorite local eateries.

I came here with my mom for a good American breakfast. I'm excited for all restaurants organic, and so, it was a must-try. We ordered (organic) coffee and a Cafe Breve, both of which were excellent. They came out quickly. Next, we ordered our breakfast- I had the grits (not much of an appetite in the AM) and Mom ordered eggs, grits, bacon, and rye toast. My grits were good, but very salty. My Mom enjoyed her breakfast, quoting it as excellent, and she preferred the salty grits. I'd say make the grits without salt and let the customer choose their personalized sodium content. :) I snagged a piece of her rye toast, which was perfectly toasted with great rye flavor. The food was all very good. I noticed that they have Mighty Leaf teas, which makes me want to stop by on a cold winter day and read a book. The beautiful stone interior and wood ceiling makes for a wonderful old world ambiance. The total was $21 before tax. Not bad, I'd say, for a good, organic breakfast for two. Note: the owner was working at her laptop at a nearby table and was very friendly/sweet to us when we had some questions for the server (she had the answers). The server was attentive, and got our orders right. All was fine. The ambiance is also very nice. I wish I'd been hungrier-- this review might've been better. :)

A nice, guilt-free dining experience as the food is mostly organic and non GMO. Came here for a birthday breakfast yesterday and had a delicious omelet with croissant and tea. Server was very sweet, but not very attentive. We had to walk up to the kitchen twice to get her attention for a glass of water and then for the check. She did not ask us if our food was okay and didn't check on us at all after delivering the plates. She blamed this on being busy getting the place ready for lunch. Would like to come back for lunch to really experience what their menu has to offer and to hopefully redeem my experience with the wait staff.

Having dined at the Station Bistro for brunch and dinner before, I thought this would be a cozy spot to visit during an exceptionally rainy June weekend. My mom and I headed out for a later lunch on a Saturday afternoon (around 1pm) and found the place empty, with the exception of a table of 6 seated nearby enjoying their meals. We were seated immediately, given menus, a waited a little bit before asking if we were interested in beverages (a coffee for me and a water for her). We put in our very simple orders of a bowl of vegetable soup and a cobb salad. Mom and I chatted up and watched the weather through the very large windows that surround the dining room. And we waited...and watched...and waited for a good 40 minutes before our soup and salad were delivered to us. Now, it's been some time since I've worked in a kitchen, but I am rather confident that the two items we ordered require the limited effort from a chef, and are often prepared (or even pre-prepared) by the servers themselves. The soup was enjoyable, but my mother asked kindly for some bread, so as to further enjoy the broth. That request was actually asked twice, as it seemed our server (who was *not* occupied with other tables) seemed to blank out on us. My salad was good, but I felt it under-performed in the size department, given it's $15 price tag. I'm willing to bet that there was no more than 2 oz of chicken with my salad, but I will give them credit that the bacon was bountiful. It included some cheese and half a sliced egg and was topped with a small scoop (like a melon scoop) of guacamole. I'd say that it was more like a $10 salad. Our server continued to blank out during our meal, never returning to ask how we were enjoying it. I did get a refill of my coffee, though. About an hour and 20 minutes after arriving, we received our check, and was somewhat surprised by the final bill (almost $30 for 1 salad, 1 soup, a cup of coffee+1 refill, and a water). Turns out, Station Bistro charges $2.95 for an 8 oz mug of coffee and then charges again for your refill. Not worth the price points. Frankly, we were incredibly disappointed with our service, the price and the general "blah" of the place. I will probably not return for a meal, especially if they have their "B" list of staff working during the days.

I love this place! It's so cozy and the coffee is delicious! I got the portobello eggs Benedict with home fries and it was outstanding. Now the food was really late and the server wasn't that professional and didn't even smile at all, if I'm going to go out to eat and spend my money I want to be treated with appreciation. but the overall experience was pretty positive, I recommend the station bistro.

Have been coming here for years and always enjoyed the food and service until recently. Service has slipped considerably in the last few months. On my last couple visits my orders have been wrong and the checks wrong as well. On top of that the prices seems to have risen in direct inverse proportion to the service. Time to find another place for breakfast.

This is one of my favorite restaurants ever. The stone interior, local art, open kitchen, and fireplace give this restaurant such an inviting and unique feel. It was a great addition to this small town I grew up in, in keeping with the artsy, holistic, organic flair this little town is becoming known for. Beautiful historic building. Great food with many organic ingredients! The cobb salad with onion, dijon, vinegarett is my favorite, I add croutons and leave out the bacon (I don't eat pigs) My Mom swears by the bean and pasta soup, which shocked me because I've never seen her be fond of those two ingredients before, so it must be amazing! The french onion is devine, infact we plan on having both on Monday! Our favorite Mother- daughter lunch date spot!

This is a great little hidden gem in Kimberton! I stopped in for lunch (although I've mostly heard good reviews about breakfast) and was pleasantly surprised! I had the avocado/crab stack with fried pita, which had a pretty and upscale presentation. The portion was small for the price, but the flavors were good. I also had the French Onion Soup, which was amazing. Too many placed serve this soup (which is one of my FAVORITES) with WAY too much salt. Their version had a nice lightly salted broth which was very good. My boyfriend had the hot ham and cheese sandwich, which he devoured & loved. The hand cut french fries that it came with were also quite tasty. I definitely plan on going back for lunch and trying our some more items, and definitely plan to stop in for breakfast! My only complaint is that I was chilly inside. I had to keep my coat on.
(4)Moriah H.
My mom and I just ate here today for breakfast, and I was very disappointed. Though the natural space (stone walls, wooded ceilings) is beautiful, the decor could be greatly improved. The coffee was awful, no matter how much creamer we added. The toast, eggs, and potatoes were great, but nothing extraordinarily special (the butter is DIVINE). Service was mediocre, and overall we were underwhelmed with the experience. It's a shame, because it has so much potential due to its location and the building. Wish I could write something more positive, and I would love to see holistic improvements to the Station Bistro.

Been here twice, hoping the second visit would prove me wrong from the first. I'm also a little confused to why this place has such a high rating. Breakfast is severely average and the one waitress we've had twice now is anything but welcoming. Yes the atmosphere is nice and "rustic" but there are so many other options in the area that offer much tastier food at the same price point. I had the huevos rancheros and the french toast at each visit--food is bland and not even prepared well. My huevos rancheros were served in what was essentially Wegman's tortilla shells and El Paso salsa. Just my $0.02.

This place is great... If you want overpriced food, a veryyyy short time to actually order food and eat, the worst possible parking, and an extremely cold reception from the staff there. Firstly, the window of time that this place is open and serving food each day is EXTREMELY limited. The first time we tried to go, we were turned away at 11:45 because they "stopped serving at 1 and didn't think we'd be 'done' by their closing time." Hmm seems... A little over the top, but okay. We left. On our second attempt, today, we tried to find parking. There were no signs along the street, nor were there signs indicating parking in the back was available or "in the parking lot of the post office" (seems....legal?). Once we parked wherever we could find a spot, came into the bistro and got settled, a bus boy came over (alongside his impossibly rude and abrasive manager, we assume) to tell us we had to move because we were breaking the law and on someone's private property... On a public street. (private property? As in you telling people to park in the private lot of the post office? Oh okay.) Even as my boyfriend stood to go move our car, the extremely rude "manager" proceeded to speak as loudly as she could (I guess everyone in the bistro needed to hear you) about other "parking arrangements". Maybe get some signs next time? Interestingly enough, a couple sitting near us shook their heads at the manager's rude approach and proceeded to tell me that the bistro needed to get signs for people unfamiliar to the area, and that their approach afterwards was "inappropriate". Thank you, we definitely agree. If you aren't a "regular" to this place, you may run into some rather cold shoulders as well from much of the staff there. Some are very polite, as they should be in such an establishment. But most were very rude, especially that manager. You can't expect any servers to learn proper etiquette when the managers are setting a terrible example. When we said "thank you," on our way out, she replied with... NOTHING. A quick glance of distaste was about it. Which is interesting. It's not as if we are paying customers or anything. Such an attitude will alienate new clientele and seal the deal on them never coming back. Ever. All in all, the food was okay, but nothing to blow our minds or to justify the rude behavior of management and total lack of class. The vibe of the place was interesting and artsy, but not for the price or the icy reception. If you're looking for good food at a reasonable price with a polite and friendly atmosphere... This is NOT the place for you. If you're looking for mediocre food with a waspy, snobby atmosphere- especially if you're "different" or new- then congratulations! You should love it here. Read the other reviews on the distasteful service here. They definitely play "favorites" here, regardless of how much you order or pay or how polite YOU are. What a disgrace. Manners, manners, manners.

Fantastic breakfast! The coffee is the best in the area and the food quality is top notch...though a bit pricey ($10 for oatmeal w/ nuts & berries!?!)
(4)Stacy R.
After reading a few reviews, I was nervous about the service here. It was great! The waiters and waitresses were friendly and attentive and very helpful. The food was fantastic, and service is fast to boot! I have no idea what people were talking about in their reviews. Definitely coming here again.
(4)Shelly B.
I really want to love this restaurant and have been several times in the past for breakfast. I went today with my 2 children and experienced such terrible service that we will definitely not return. When we arrived there were only 2 other tables of diners and the 2 employees were chatting at another table. In place of a greeting, one of the waitstaff turned over his shoulder and said "sit wherever you want. " After we received the wrong drinks, the waiter corrected the problem but made no apology. When I received the bill I was surprised to see I was charged for an adult portion and drink for my 6 year old who had grilled cheese. When I brought it to the waiters attention, he said "that was not the kids meal." I asked why he would not have brought the kids meal for a 6 year old and he turned and walked away. Just a terrible experience and they seem to make no effort toward customer service at all.

We went there twice in a row for breakfast and it was fabulous. The ingredients are fresh and delicious. They have a huge selection of omelets. The pancakes and french toast are great too. The restaurant has a great feel which was perfect for our weekend getaway.

First time having breakfast here. LOVED it! Best home fries! Friendly staff too. Really enjoyed my soy latte. Will definitely be back.

Totally stumbled upon this place and what a find!!! The place is as cute as can be inside with great tables and comfortable seating. Cheerful and attentive staff and prompt service. Local artists have their work on the walls and there is a big old fireplace with a fire going too! And the food - OH my! One word: EXCELLENT! Fresh ingredients do indeed make a huge difference. They are a BYOB but if you don't feel like drinking order their fresh brewed iced tea! So glad to have found this place! Can't wait to go back!
(5)Kyle J.
Food & Portions were excellent. Ordered the blueberry pancakes which were really fresh and side of ham with hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was excellent and they were very generous with it, came in more of a bowl then a cup. However they were on the slightly higher side for breakfast. For two of us the total was almost $35.00. That's more then we are likely to do often for breakfast.
(4)Chantal G.
Good breakfast every time. They use Morningstar coffee from West Chester, and it's excellent. Warm and inviting interior, especially in winter. Only problem is the expresso machine is incredibly loud and basically in the dining room. Say goodbye to 3 or 4 minutes of your conversation each time someone orders a latte etc. Extremely irritating, put it in back! PS-parking was ample.

My husband and I live in the area and have been going to Station Bistro for weekend breakfasts since they opened. Nice rustic place in historic village setting. We typically arrive shortly after their 8am opening -- to find 4-5 servers standing around talking to each other -- which wouldn't be an issue -- until after breakfast when in ladies room -- a restroom that has clearly not been cleaned. Not only is toilet dirty -- the area behind the toilet is disgusting -- which tells me restroom is not getting thorough and regular cleanings. Toilet dirty, floors not clean, and paper towel dispenser empty! We were just there for breakfast and -- for the third time --an empty dispenser! Approached the waitress who was just standing there holding menus. When I told her the dispenser was empty, she continued to look straight ahead - and gave me a quick, flat "ok". She made no attempt to refill dispenser and went about her business in dining area. A few mins later, as we headed for the door, she says "Have a nice day, guys". Clearly, the owner (not present) does not consider a CLEAN and supplied restroom in a place where food is being prepared/served to be important. The unsanitary restrooms have been an issue -- almost from day one, but conditions have gotten worse-- and based on the bad and dismissive attitude of the waitress, and the fact that the owner is almost always present when we are there, it is clear owners do not consider cleanliness to be a priority. In fact, the whole place could use a good cleaning. Advice to the owners -- rustic and charming Does NOT replace clean. And I'd suggest letting staff know that when a customer -- a good long-time customer - approaches them with such an issue, that they fix the problem and not get an attitude and blatantly ignore it.
(2)David G.
The only beef I have with place is the noise level. The floor and walls are exposed stone that absorbs very little sound. It doesn't take much of a crowd to make conversations difficult. In fact, it's a little quieter with a full house because all the bodies dampen the sound level.
(4)Mack M.
This place is wonderful. I went for breakfast by myself on a Monday morning and couldn't have been more happy. it was a quaint cute place and very homey. I was one of the two customers there (myself and an older man) and we both were enjoying a quiet breakfast while reading. it was nice how quiet the staff was...all you could hear was the music. I got my standard breakfast...two eggs over easy, rye toast, and a breakfast meat (I got sausage this time) and I was more than pleased. the eggs were cooked well and I enjoyed the rustic hash browns (very fresh) The treat of the meal was the coffee selection!! I was able to get a delicious cafe breve with an extra shot and boy did it hit the spot. Very affordable...with a gourmet coffee drink and a large plate of food my bill came to 11.36 I have already decided that this is my favorite breakfast spot and am looking forward to trying lunch and dinner (BYOB!)
(5)Jim J.
The Station only gets 3 stars. I wish I could give it more. The food was tasty (we 4 had breakfast: huevos rancheros, french toast, southwestern omelette, ham & cheese omelette) and all of us were happy. There is coffee. They even serve grits! Great, right? Except... waiting 45 minutes for orders to arrive while everyone else, most of whom arrived after your party, receives and eats theirs? And then to sit looking forlornly at an empty coffee cup for what seems like an eternity (it was probably more like 20 minutes) waiting for a refill? And then when the food arrives, two of four dishes are wrong? And then, the meal concluded & with open tables are at a premium, to be made made to wait 20 minutes more for the check? I would think that after we spent 90 minutes in your filled up dining room, you would be scrambling to get rid of us. And no apology for the extended wait times or for the mistaken orders. You're not the only place with good food. I think we'll stick with those other places in the future.

Our first visit Station Bistro was a great surprise! The ambience is great! The only suggestion my wife and I had was that they offer more vegetarian varieties to some of their menu items, many of them contain meat. The fact that they offer a choice between grits and has browns was a delightful surprise, it has been a long time since I enjoyed grits. The coffee bar is a splendid idea for those awaiting a table which does not appear to take long at all. With some expansion on the menu and maybe stating that all produce is locally grown would be an added plus. The toast was delicious and fresh. We have definitely found a new breakfast place to share with others. Look forward to trying it out for dinner some time!
(4)Ali D.
First time here and all I can say is mediocre at best. Food was decent , but took way too long to come out, all the while 3 or 4 servers at a time you could see were chatting away amongst themselves. Only helped once by our waitress to ask if we needed anything. And had to beckon for our check. All in all, will not be coming back.
(2)Angie G.
I've never had better grits in my life! So fluffy and warm and delicious. I've had some great breakfasts here. Really neat cafe with lots of seating & inviting decor in a pretty little town.
(4)Brian B.
I've been to Station Bistro (only for Breakfast) so many times since I first found it. Even after we moved 30 minutes away; every time we have people from out of town we take them here for breakfast. They have THE best pancakes around; served with real maple syrup.
(5)Annie D.
The Station Bistro is really yummy! It's also really expensive so I don't eat there as often as I'd like. I try to understand the cost since the food is, as far as I know, all natural and frequently organic but sometimes I just head to the Phoenix Diner and call it a day. My favorite is the breakfast sandwich with a side of grits... yum! yum! yum!
(4)Stephen A.
Holy crap was this disappointing. Full disclosure: I work in a kitchen. Our first visit... We live close enough to walk here, so we were really hoping for good things. So here we go: -breakfast, Sunday, 10am. -nice room. Cute, quaint, homey, we liked it. -good coffee -menu: good, usual breakfast fare, nothing new or unique. No specials. -service: poor at best. Food took forever, we watched as tables sat after us finished their meals. I'm aware this may be the kitchens fault...but the server never even acknowledged the situation. I got to watch her sitting at a dining room table checking her phone as we waited for out food. -food: blueberry pancakes- very good, good portion. French toast-average, served warm (not hot) and dried out...as if it had been waiting around for awhile. Eggs Benedict- horrible, poor hollandaise, muffin was barely toasted and impossible to cut (a result of waiting around too long), meat was small, thin, barely cooked. Small eggs...cooked well, though. Not served very hot, either. Side sausage: blah....links, decent flavor, cooked way ahead of time and poorly reheated, shriveled. Grits: decent grit, cooked properly, no flavor at all. -$35, before tip. I'm happy to pay this much for breakfast when its good. Or server knew the food took to long, she knew that WE knew it took to long, and she didn't say a word about it. This may sound petty...but there's just too much good competition for me to spend my cash at a restaurant with bad service and below average food. Its a buyers market these days. Near the end of or meal, a woman appeared from the back of the kitchen in a chef coat. This place and its food did not represent the presence of a chef. At least not at my table on this day. Try Sips, or the Black Lab Bistro if you want brunch in Phoenixville.

This place is worth a trip. BYO. It looks like a quaint coffehouse on steroids, but you will feel comfortable here in jeans or dressed up. I have only had dinner there and their ribs are some of the best around (as they should be for $28.95 for a full). The sauce is perfect and the ribs fall off the bone. The salads are excellent and a majority of things on the menu will make you happy enough to reorder them again. (Fish tacos got a thumbs down - tasty, but they arrived in a pool of salsa juice) rundown: Atmosphere 8/10 Service 8/10 Server personality: 5/10 Food 8/10 Probablity of return: 10/10
(4)David F.
Yeah, we're loving the Station Bistro. It's just the perfect, quaint little place that is filled with comfort. The building itself is an old train station so you just get that cozy feeling like you're somewhere in the mountains at a ski lodge in Colorado. We go for breakfast (a lot) and I have to say that I've never had a bad experience. The service is always wonderful and the food is always consistently good. I've had everything on that menu at least once. Even the grits are good and it's hard to find good grits. If you live in this area then this is a must go to for you and your friends or family. It'll become a new favorite for that lazy morning breakfast.
(4)Tom L.
I should give it 5 stars, but I do agree that the prices are a tad high. Food is excellently prepared and despite the place being full every weekend, I rarely wait more than 5-10 minutes for a table and the best part....you can help yourself to coffee while you wait! I could wait a half hour as long as I have my coffee. And they're coffee is much more robust than your typical diner coffee (yuck!). I typically get an egg-white omelet or splurge from time to time and get the eggs benedict, which is quite delicious. Great portions on any selection and their bread is just lightly toasted and hearty. Have not visited for lunch or dinner but will plan to very soon. A must if you are in the area and hungry!
(4)Nick C.
The wait was pretty exessive, people who came after us were seated before us (same number in our parties), the coffee was good... the "huevos rancheros" (and i use that term loosely) was scrambled eggs (???) Wrapped in a dry tortilla with what appeared to be old el paso salsa on it. Not good.
(2)Ben F.
Been here for both breakfast and lunch. I think their breakfasts are better. Love the multigrain pancakes and the egg dishes are good. A little on the expensive side and parking is a pain when they are busy.
(4)Graham B.
This is a wonderful little restaurant, the food is new and vary unique. It has a cheerful ambiance with Waldorf influences, open and cheerful dinning area.
(5)sheila c.
Love the look of the place, especially the stone walls and floors and the coffee bar while you wait is a nice touch. Went with high hopes and many high marks from friends, but I got over cooked eggs that were pretty expensive. The french toast was good, and the omlet my husband had was tasty, but I was bummed after I stabbed the top of my eggs benedict and saw the cakey half cooked - but overcooked yolk. The service was friendly and prompt and the coffee was blazing hot and a little dark, which is perfect. Hoping I got a fluke, I'll try them again soon.
(3)Stephen C.
I'd give it 5 stars, but I've only had breakfast there, so kind of a half blind review. Breakfast is great. Everything tastes fresh and the quality of ingredients is superior. Staff is super friendly and the place is adorable. It costs no more than the local diner, so head there before hitting a greasy spoon for breakfast.
(4)Kathy O.
We both had the egg and home fries with toast breakfast.$5.95 with coffee at $2.25 and Danny added sausage , so with the tip and all it came to about $20 which is about the norm around here. The waitresses were cute and the service was great. Very nice atmosphere. We will come back and I consider it one of my favorite places.
(4)Traci P.
Love this tiny BYO. Can be a little quiet, but food is great. Very fresh. We've even taken the kids!
(4)Brian M.
This is a good, solid place to go for breakfast if you want some straight ahead fresh breakfast food while taking a step up from places like O'Grady's. Service has always been good, there's a good coffee/espresso selection, and it's a nice atmosphere, but I also don't worry about taking my kids there. The only warning here is that due to the charming stone floor, the tables are the tippiest tables in tiptown U.S.A. Not in theslightly annoying way where you put a napkin down, but the slightly dangerous way where the entire contents of the table almost dumps on your lap. This morning my coffee sloshed everywhere when I put my arms down. Besides that, it's a go-to place for my family on saturday mornings.
(3)Carrie D.
I came across this place while my husband and I were taking a scenic drive through PA. It looked really quaint so we decided to try it and we like to eat at places that are unique and have something different to offer. Some things are priced high like the pasta dishes and appetizers but we found sandwiches and salads to be priced ok. I had a warm smoked turkey sandwich with melted provolone cheese topped with lettuce, tomato, red onion, and best of all, basil mayonnaise. It was an excellent sandwich! My husband had a veggie burger which he said was pretty good and he loved their fries because they were extra crispy. After our meal I had to try their Chai tea latte (I'm always on the search for the best chai tea!). It was really good and the spices were great, not my number one favorite but it comes in a close second. We would definitely revisit this place again.
(4)Mike M.
I have been to this place at least 10 times and its generally good. However, I tend to be turned off by the unfriendliness of the owner/chef. At least 6 times I was standing at the register paying my bill or ordering a take-out cappuccino, when he walked right by and didn't so much as look up to see who is spending their hard earned money in his restaurant. He wasn't so busy that he couldn't say "Hi, thanks for stopping in!"? Nearly every succesfull small business I have ever seen is run by an owner who appreciates his clients. This guy could use a lesson in that. Other than that...the food is good, prices high, service excellent. I spend plenty of time and money in the Kimberton area, just tending to spend it where it is appreciated.
(2)Nancy T.
Have had breakfast many times and the food has been delish each time. Only eaten there once for lunch. While it was excellent, it was a bit pricey.
(4)Pat H.
have been there many times, this time both my husband and I felt our meal was overcooked. I had a chicken dish and he had ribs. While both we good, they would have been better if not as dry. For the prices and not to get bread i think is crazy. My sister went the followig evening and also felt her checken was dry. her friend got the soup instead of salad was could not believe how little soup you got. BYOB is a nice option and they have a wine opener and glasses available if you would like to start before being seated. I also think a $2 up charge for aspragus is too much.

Opened about 6 months ago diagonally across from Kimberton Inn. They have good burgers and apparently the chef does some good BBQ and smokes various types of meat on premesis. The BBQ sandwich is a great value and the Jamaican jerk wings in home made sauce are awesome. Ribs looked good too. They also have a good coffee bar. Update: Starting May 22nd, they will be offering a crawfish boil every Thursday. Call to make reservations.

We live so close to the Station Bistro and just discovered them, thanks to a Groupon purchase. We are so happy to have found them! This is a wonderful little restaurant in Kimberton, which offers breakfast selections (we haven't tried them yet, but it sure is nice to find a new breakfast place). We had a wonderful dinner there. The restaurant is BYOB, the service is fantastic, and the food was delicious. My husband had the all-you-can eat ribs (a Tuesday night special) and tested them on that promise. They delivered. As a vegetarian, I enjoyed a fresh salad and a perfectly homemade soup. We started with tomato and mozzarella, which was so good -- surprising, on the tomatoes, since it was winter. You feel as though you are eating in someone's back yard - I love how they designed the dining area. We will *definitely* be back, and intend to make this a Sunday breakfast meeting place.

I have only been there a few times, but each time the food and service were good. I even had fried catfish!

I really enjoyed myself here. Its nice and hidden i think. It hangs out in Kimberton which is kinda off the main road. The restaurant is located in a renovated house which once was part of the Underground Railroad. I totally dig that kind of history. Very nice and clean, well kept. The menu is nice and changes constantly. I have only had breakfast, but my omelet was great. It is a little higher in price but I feel it is worth it. The staff was very accomadating for my lil familly. We went on a Sunday morning at 10 and it was not crowded at all... Check out the Station!

This place is as good as it gets for breakfast. The decor is nice and there is a coffee bar with chairs to sit in if there is a wait. We got there at 9:45am on a Sunday and had no problem getting a table for 2. I had the chocolate chip pancakes and my wife had the brioche french toast with home fries on the side. Both were excellent. The coffee was great and service was fantastic. I'll definitely be back, can't wait to try lunch or dinner there. I'm really really happy we found this place.
