I stopped by for lunch having never been here before. The lunch specials were a great deal and came with plenty of food. And the food was all great. Highly recommended.

We didn't find this to be at all comparable to the downtown location; overall the food was humdrum and unremarkable. The hot and sour soup, however, is tofu- and mushroom-filled bliss in a bowl. It's a better quality of soup than you find at a lot of hole-in-the-wall restaurants, and it's topped with a scattering of green onion slices and a drizzle of hot chili oil that pushes it over the line from "awesome" to "sublime." Stir the oil into the soup and enjoy the pain; it's the good kind of pain.

Not crazy about this place at all. As another reviewer stated above I know people who love this place.... unfortunately everyhing I've had is pretty low quality. The chicken has an odd taste to it ,and the rice has virtually no flavor. Not to mention the after lunch stomach pains are never a good thing either. I will give them props however on the price point, a lunch special is $5.75 and comes with soup and an egg roll, although as stated above you kinda get what you pay for.

Tasty food, quick service/delivery and great prices! They are always happy to create a custom order. I enjoy the general tso tofu with broccoli and their 'chips' with duck sauce. Unfortunately, while dining in the restaurant, I observed workers sitting in the dining area, eating food while snapping the ends off of green beans. Of course, this would not pass inspection and is not clean.

We go here often enough that they know us by name and start putting in our order before we even get served. We love this Szechuan East. Pros: Awesome food, great service, friendly, laid back. Cons: None

A satellite of the Szechuan Downtown, this small restaurant shares all of the same excellent recipes and does a brisk take-out business. Waitresses are friendly and pleasant. CONS: Not a lot of seating.

I work with people who LOVE szechaun. Myself is not a fan by any means. They have a HUGE lunch rush every day, but as I said I am not a fan. It is entirely too greasy for me and honestly I haven't found anything that is amazing from there. They have some upsides. The little breaded crispy chip things are awesome, you can change how spicy ANY dish is (1-10), It's cheap, and Give you ALOT of food. In my opinion Lychee by wal-Mart is 10x better The only reason it gets two stars instead of one is soley because the sizes for the price during lunch.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
