Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

I was craving Chinese food like no other. I figure I would spoil myself before I went into work.. This is a small restaurant and mainly focus on take out but I decided to eat there today. There are a few tables and it seems warm in side. Not sure if the AC was working that day or now. The fans were blowing. When you walk in, you can go ahead and seat yourself and the server will be by with a menu. Very friendly and not too bad to understand. I went with the lunch general tso without the soup and egg roll and it was 5.75... If you got the egg roll and soup it's 6.25... Not much more for the upgrade but I kinda wanted it healthy... Haha well an attempt. The food here is pretty good for a take out Chinese restaurant. It all tasted fresh. It's one of the better ones in my opinion. I definitely would come here more but it's 20min drive from my house

Ordered takeout, make sure you check your orders. Got the whole way home to discover the vegetables were rotten, took them back up the female owner said that's how they come. I said then send it back. She said its like that, I asked for another one. The cooks were smiling and laughing when the woman was showing me the new product, I didn't trust them. I said I wanted my money back and she refused and started yelling at me. I will never ever go there again to be disrespected and feel uncomfortable. They can keep their poor quality of food.

A good Chinese place. A tie for best General Tsos chicken in town and they understand if you want it spicy hot 99 stars that's what the deliver. And the best hot and sour soup in town too, with the extra touch of a tablespoon of vinegar, a dash of hot oil and chopped green onions -- yum. The waitress knows what we want when we show up even before we sit down - a nice lady that's been there for years. I've never had a bad meal here. The portions are generous and are all made fresh. Never had a problem getting vegan dishes here, they're all good. The restaurant itself is in dire need of renovation as are most small ethnic restaurants anywhere. I'd give atmosphere zero stars, but we go for the food. They do a lot of takeout orders and there's always someone coming and going with orders. I like this place and will continue to patronize them.

A tiny little restaurant in the corner of a strip mall in Westmont, the atmosphere is casual but the food has been excellent. Very generous portions that yield two meals. I have had Empress Beef which had amazing spicy sauce, not blanded down like some Chinese places, but also not too spicy for my taste either, just nice and flavorful. It consisted of beef and scallops and surprisingly they were very generous with the sea (the bigger kind) scallops. They have been very generous with seafood; good quality seafood, something rare for casual Chinese places. I also have had Seafood Wor Bar and was pleasantly surprised by this; there were many huge chunks of real lobster along with shrimp and scallops in a delicious light sauce. The only thing I would change about the Empress Beef is the way the beef is prepared; most Chinese places have tender and thinly sliced beef but this place had thick chunks of beef, maybe it is my personal preference but other than that I thought the food was perfect. Great food and I can't wait to get it again.

The food is good, but the ordering process leaves a lot to be desired. Rude people answering the phones.
