Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Food was ok. Soup tasted like it came out of a can. Sandwiches were mostly bread with little in between. Service was ok. I might try again for take-out and get a pizza.

OK so when I was growing up in Johnstown in the 80's the absolute best pizza on the planet was made by Capri. At that time there were two locations. One in the Richland Mall, right across the hall from the Duke & Duchess Theaters and the Time Out arcade (could it have been in a BETTER place?!?!?) and the other was in the Westwood Plaza. So many memories of the pizza at the mall. Pizza. Donkey Kong. Pizza. Return of the Jedi. Pizza. Spy Hunter. Pizza. Ghostbusters. Man those were the days!!! Both locations are gone (the Richland Mall is long gone and someone bought Capri's in Westmont and still serves pizza there - which is still good, I think they even have Capri's equipment and tables in there), but I found out that the Capri on Main St. bakes the pizzas in the ovens from the Richland Mall!!! There is something spiritual about that!!!! I still think that this is the best pizza in the world. Plain cheese, or maybe pepperoni. If it blows you away in it's simple form like that, you know it's damn good. It's still the pizza that I compare all others to. I now live in San Francisco but when I'm in Johnstown, I try and hit Capri, along with Coney Island and the other Johnstown favorites.

Dingy decor, good pizza: thin crust, real mozzarella, generous with toppings. Have an all-you can-eat lunch buffet for $4.99 (not a typo) that includes two kinds of soup, salad, bread twists, and three or four different kinds of pizza.

I eat here all the time, while it's not the cleanest and doesn't have the most advanced technology, the food is really good. Their pizza is awesome and so are their home made rolls.
