Pizza is sold by the slice with the standard pepperoni and cheese toppings. You can eat it there, but most people get it to go. They'll stuff the slices into a box or two and then instead of putting a lid on the box, they stick it in a paper bag. It saves on waste but makes stacking the pizza boxes tricky if you don't want your cheese stuck to the top of the bag. The pizza is tastes good, well worth the price. They never skimp on toppings and the thick, square cuts of pizza are a good size. Two or three should obliterate your appetite. Definitely not for the thin crust lover cause these slices are thick and chewy. As an added bonus, they've some old school video games to play while you wait.

Indiana staple. Bob's hasn't changed a bit from when I graduated from high school ten years ago, and I bet people who are way older than me can say the same thing. +1 - I love that you order pizza by the slice. -1 - I don't love so much that they put the pepperoni on the pizza after you order it. +1 - I love the hairstyle of Flippy. -1 - I don't understand how the pizza get so greasy when they cook it without the pepperoni. Not my favorite pizza place in Indiana, but I can see where its appeal lies. I wished the crust was a bit thicker and there was more of it. I'd be all for corner pieces for everyone. A slice of middle pizza is a bit too cheesy, doughy and floppy for my taste.

We were visiting my hubby's hometown when he brought me here. His fave childhood pizza place. The pizza was ok, but I'm use to having more topping options. Cheese and pepperoni just doesn't cut it for me. Plus, the pizza was greasy and VERY hot. The staff wasn't very friendly but the hubs said that's the way they've always been (not sure that's a good thing). The one plus thing I can say is that the bathroom was clean.

Meh. They do ONE thing. And you love it or hate it. But they are very clear about it. If you like doughy crust and greasy pizza, in slabs, for cheap, this is your place. Not terrible, but very much not great.

My favorite pizza don't listen to what nobody says I've been coming here for a long time...and still when I visit from CALIFORNIA I still make sure I stop by its legit...I like that the inside is outdated...who cares its not a dine in spot its a carry out and if you care that much about stupid Pepperoni's then go home and put your pizza under the broiler for a couple minutes and get over it

25 to 30 years ago this was the place to eat pizza after a football game at the high school but fast forward to today and the building is still lost in the 80s and the pizza has gone way way down hill its kinda sad it was a teen hang out for me

The pizza was decent for the price. But it was quite greasy. You can order pepperoni or plain cheese. It comes out of the oven pretty fast. The decor was okay. They definitely don't invest in the looks. The staff was friendly. And it seemed decently clean.

Bob's looks a little out dated, as they don't have any fancy signs or lights, but who cares when your just there for something to eat?? Pizza is sold by the square slice, either with (pepperoni) or with-out. They are very busy at lunch and supper time, so plan on waiting a short time if you go during those times. They also have great subs!!

I DO NOT understand why this place gets good reviews. It perplexes me because their pizza is terrible. I don't know if it should be called pizza. Its a slab of tasteless square dough with a bland red sauce (if you want to call it that) and cheese. Oh wait you can get pepperoni thrown on top. It kind of reminds me of the frozen square pizzas you find at the grocery store. I just don't understand the rave reviews. Not knocking the place because it's always full but I think that is because its SO CHEAP, you can probably feed a family of 7 on $5.OO.

This place looks like it's straight out of the 80's. Their dining room has not been updated in awhile. The pizza are these square things. They bake them on what looks like a larger and deeper cookie sheet. The pizza gets about a 3 star rating because it's not bad but it's definitely not the best I've had. The prices for pizza here is why I returned for a few more times. This is the cheapest pizza I have ever bought. You could seriously feed a family of four for about 7 bucks (and they would be full!). The Pizza is meh...but the price is why I'm giving this place 4 stars.

First, two things. My husband is an Indiana native and a relative of Bob's owner. We may be biased, but this has failed (sadly) to ever get him free pizza. This is an icon of the Indiana community, a cinderblock and plywood shack on the edge of town. Its location has saved it from the predations of the local college community, but they are seriously missing out. The lucky few IUP students who befriend locals quickly realize the joys of this unique establishment. Bob's doesn't serve pizza. It serves Bob's Pizza. A thick slab of dough covered in a bit of red stuff, a stratum of cheese, and pepperoni (if you want). Your options are with pepperoni or without, and here or to go. That's it. Bob's serves other food, apparently, but in 28 years of patronage neither of us has ever eaten any of it. What's the point, when the pizza is so excellent? You don't order a pizza here, you order by the slice. Each slice is less than a dollar, and four slices will kill almost any appetite. Other places would lose a star for the lack of options, the spartan atmosphere, and the outside bathroom straight out of a horror movie. But it's Bob's. Taking away any of those things would be like taking away the lady behind the counter with the awesome curled bangs she's been rocking since 1982. It would be a tragedy and a loss of identity for both Bob's and Indiana. Just remember, the corner pieces are the best and worth fighting for. Give it time to cool from nuclear to just mouth-skin-removingly hot. And get there before the lunch rush, or you'll be stuck behind half of Indiana. But don't be too sad if you have to wait. The line moves fast, in a way Henry Ford would be proud of, and the people watching is epic. EDITED TO ADD: Yelp just asked me about attire, and I snorted milk out my nose. Casual. Very casual. I want to click 'not sure' just cause some of the people wear things that I'm not sure are clothes.

Now that I'm residing on the other side of the state, I'm becoming particularly nostalgic for Indiana classics. Bob's pizza being one of them. Bob's is so ingrained in my childhood that I can't really tell you if their pizza tastes good. It's Bob's. It tastes like Bob's, which means it tastes like happy. The blinking lights of the two arcade games...beckoning me. The soda machine where I excitedly purchased a Mountain Dew. Sipping it with a straw while my mom waited for our order. Feeling the third degree burns from the square pieces of heaven resting on my thighs on the ride home. If you don't like Bob's then you don't get it and you make me sad.

I suspected this place would make me sick, since this is quite possibly the most greasy pizza I've ever had. To my pleasant surprise, after eating five pieces of this amazingly delicious and greasy pizza, I encountered no digestive problems. This place has some sort of magical grease, which is somehow freakishly tasty and digestible.

Bob's 'Atsa My Pizza' Pizza is the place everyone remembers from childhood. You can tell how old someone is by the price of a slice from when they were a kid :) It's still going strong and just as good. This is decidedly NOT NY thin crust pizza. At Bob's you order it by the slice. Only two options. With (pepperoni) or without. Slices are square. Get an end piece, or even better a corner. They do package it in cardboard sleeves wrapped in paper bags, so it is hard to stack. The decor is the same particle board walls with sports paraphernalia. An Indiana institution.

I can have a piece or two of Bob's pizza. It's a celebratory location for post-concert/game/graduation/exquisite fecal deposit, or all of the above. Any more than a piece or two and I feel like a sumo wrestler after drinking 5 gallons of melted crico. I can't shake the feeling of consuming the least healthy food in town (and I'm a fan of Taco Bell). Don't get me wrong, the taste of a piece is one of the better things in Indiana. Just short of what I'd imagine people who enjoy girly drinks feel while downing a mudslide. The atmosphere is what it is, and its an Indiana classic. If you're thinking of trying it, do it. Just don't expect to feel very well if you don't consume fried food every day or eat raw meat on a regular basis (a.k.a., a honey badger).

I really don't understand why everyone likes this place so much. The pizza is bland and the crust tastes like cardboard. Maybe it's the novelty of them not using boxes. It's not worth the hassle of their parking lot.

Bob's is an Indiana landmark...selling single slices for practically all of my life. The pizza is good, sold in small, rectangular slices either with or without pepperoni, with somewhat thick crust--not quite Sicilian but thicker than most east coast pizza that is crispy on the bottom and chewy inside. Nice. The sauce is tangy, not too sweet, and they get just the right amount of cheese. It's not the best pizza in the world, but it's very reasonably priced and consistent--you always know what you're getting. I've never had a bad slice from this place. The atmosphere is what we'll call "pragmatic." There is no pretense--just the counter and a few booths--which is refreshing. Most people get take out, and it's not uncommon to see people getting orders that number into the multiple dozens of slices--it's sort of a tradition to bring Bob's home for dinner. I'd also recommend the Wop-A-Ho sandwich--an italian hoagie that is particularly good. Ask them to heat it in the pizza oven to get the bun a little crispy and it's downright sublime.
